Prada La Femme Water Splash

This is the exact same fragrance as Prada la femme l’eau by the way ( pink label ) Just comes in a larger bottle ,round with a different label. Slightly different marketing here . ( rumor has it that mandarin oil was added to L’ eau to come up with water splash. ) Prada fragrances are usually just a cut above most other designer fragrances. They are consistently high quality and beautifully created with outstanding quality. It might be because they consistently work with the same perfumer , Daniella Andrier , who is faboulous , but also they have a distinct style and never seem to disappoint. Prada La femme water splash is no exception ,it’s high quality ,fresh and sparkly ,starts with juicy sweet mandarin accord amd crispy green nuances. It’s very clean and fresh and feminine with a white floral bang like the original but greener and fresher somewhat “lotion like “The fragrance is almost solar ,it’s very weightless and airy yet has great staying power. Prada is probably my favourite designer house , they know how to create perfume! I copied and pasted my prada L’eau reviews here ,as it is the same fragrance. Bottle is very heavy here ,the label goes all around and the bottle is not a “ half “bottle but fully round. I do prefer the packaging on the prada la femme l,eau but this is also nice.

To me this is very fresh due to the lily of the valley and the green accord at the base. Reminds me somewhat of Clinique Happy. Interestingly, although to me it instantly evokes summer, I don't read it as a 'light' scent. It has quite a bit of body. Longevity is decent - I got about 4-5 hours. I think this one might be going on my wish list for this summer. It's different enough from most of my 'freshies' to justify a purchase. Edit - 7/11/23 My kids just presented this to me as a birthday present. Happy birthday to me indeed!

I confess that I bought both Prada La Femme and L'Homme Water Splash mostly drawn by the packaging and by a very good bargain that I found online. I had tried both in person only once and liked them both for different reasons. I don't own Prada La Femme/L'Homme l'Eau but I have tested both and they do seem very similar to the Water Splash versions to my nose. I am currently wearing La Femme WS and I really like it. It's an uncomplicated, happy, floral fragrance, with distinct but not cloying frangipani & mandarin notes, fresh and green. I think it would be perfect for a sunny spring day and best suited for a young woman (25-45). It has moderate sillage for maybe 1/2hrs and then lasts for many hours as a pleasant skin smell. And the 150ml bottle is fabulous!

Fresh and softly sweet. A pretty and feminine perfume for spring and summer. Reminds me of the original, but this one is more wearable. It is a bit more mature than Prada la Femme L’Eau, but it is still young. It is not really unique, but is different enough to be someone’s signature. Try it if you’re looking for an elegant and relaxing summer fragrance. Final note:8/10

This scent reminds me of a wealthy middle aged woman with great taste. It is, admittedly, a “perfume shop” scent, but I think he mandarin gives it a fun kick. Oddly enough, I think this would make a very classy-smelling linen spray. The florals cut above the other notes after a bit and present a sort of magnolia-forward scent, and it becomes a bit boring. I just don’t ever see myself reaching for it. A+ packaging.

Fresh easy to wear fragrance, that shares similar DNA with Happy by Clinique. Good longevity and projection. This is perfect for daytime wear in the spring or summer. I think this is a safe blind buy. The packaging is beautiful. I get a lot of compliments wearing this fragrance.

This is lovely and right off the bat this morning my husband complimented me on it..which doesn't happen lots! This is a refined fresh floral, with a hint of warmth, so it isn't like overwhelmingly floral, it is very pretty and feminine...I detect the mandarin which gives it a natural juiciness, I can definitely smell the talent of the nose behind it ...I own The Prada infusion de Mandarine, and there is some similarity between the two, i think it is the mandarin vibe, although I prefer the Prada Splash as it is longerlasting, more floral and has more character..I detect whiffs of creamy magnolia here and there.. Although there are lots of spring florals out there, Prada Splash is distinctive in a way, so nicely done...

Just to give members the correct information, Prada la Femme Splash and homme Splash are actually new fragrances...check the *now snell this website,*they offer uselful background on new scents coming out...it is lovely ! The bottle and packaging are gorgeous and I'm a fan of all the notes and of some of the perfumer's other work, so I tried this expecting to like it. Unfortunately the juice is a generic, sweet fruity-floral thing that could just as easily have been produced by Victoria's Secret. Surprised by the comments about this being mature" and "distinctive". I actually found the original "La Femme" and its other flankers reasonably pleasant, but I'm afraid I can't stomach this - not my idea of translucent and refreshing.

one of my favorite summer scents. floral, straightforward, feminine, and green. I wear this on days i know I’ll be out and about in the sun. uncomplicated and that’s a good thing. the big bottle is also so pretty!

Less powdery sister of “Don’t get me wrong baby, yes I do” Not necessarily older, but cleaner and more responsible.
