Prada L'Homme Intense

As contrary to popular belief, this fragrance isn't just suitable for older men; it perfectly suits younger men as well. I am a 16 year old in the fragrance collecting hobby (18 fragrances, quality over quantity) who is rocking this on a daily basis to school, or any casual events and likely to my first interview for a job as well. Prada L'Homme Intense, when first sprayed, hits you with a blast of iris. It isn't overwhelming, but it is the lead star of the show during the first 20 - 30 minutes. After about two hours, the initial prominence of the iris is quickly faded into a alluring background note, and the tonka bean, amber, and leather start to come in. This leaves you with a very smooth leather, tonka bean and amber background while the iris is fading. A little before the base notes are in full effect (~5-6 hours after application), the amber and patchouli comes in and you're left with what smells like a slightly herbal amber vanilla over an iris flowerbed and, of course, as for this fragrance's entire lifespan, a lot of powder. Continuing into the base notes, or this fragrance's last hour and a half, you are met with faint tonka bean, faint amber, very faint iris, and mostly powder before fading away. As for the similarity between L'Homme Intense and L'Homme EDT (which I got rid of because my batch of it didn't wow me/in place of this fragrance), I wouldn't say there is much to be had. L'Homme EDT is more refreshing even though it isn't necessarily a summer fragrance, and L'Homme Intense is definitely darker and mysterious. L'Homme Intense can be worn in the spring, winter, autumn, day AND night. This is mainly because while its notes definitely target the winter season, its subtlety allows you to pull it off in several ways. Previous reviews I've seen, when describing the similarity, mentioned L'Homme Intense as essentially the "Winter Fragrance" version of L'Homme EDT. I don't really agree. L'Homme EDT has a very subtle iris compared to the Intense counterpart and also comes with the addition of violet while being more uplifting and airier in comparison. They both go in completely different ways, while also being somewhat parallel. I guess what I'm trying to get at is that the EDT is floral while the Intense is pure iris, and both of them aren't fragrances with a particular season tied to them, but the way each of them are structured allows you to pull them off in different seasons/ways opposite to what their note breakdowns suggest and what you'd expect. In contrast to its notes, and its suit-and-tie/sophisticated smell, it surprisingly isn't as mature as what's expected, which is why I believe this fragrance is possibly suitable for a younger demographic. While being darker and sweeter than the EDT, it is still a relatively light/airy fragrance with the difference of while this isn't a go hard winter fragrance as anticipated, it definitely isn't meant to be worn in the summer. Essentially, the EDT is a true year rounder, though the Intense is more versatile than you'd think allowing it to be worn in every season except summer. As for Intense's performance, it lasts 7 - 8 hours. It isn't your typical strong, moderate, skin scent for the last 3 hours fragrance. It's split into thirds: first 1 - 3 hours has above average performance, think of around 3-4 feet of projection. At the 3 - 6 hour mark, it has very moderate projection. Think of 1 - 2 feet of projection. And for the last 6 - 8 hours, it's a sublte, intimate 0.5 - 1 feet of projection. It isn't much stronger than the EDT, lasting maybe 1.5 - 2 hours more and projecting around a fifth (1⁄5, 20%) to a quarter (1⁄4, 25%) more but it definitely still sets a tone in comparison. I don't write many reviews at all, in fact, this is my second ever review. But this fragrance is truly special. It is so alluring, sophisticated, and formal while being so versatile at the same time. I usually don't write this much, let alone about anything except for my essays, but there is so much to know about this fragrance. It is the most complex simple fragrance I've ever smelled. One of the biggest reasons why I love this fragrance so much is because it doesn't whisper nor does it yell. It simply speaks to you and everyone around you. While it is a pretty safe fragrance, borderline a dumb-reach fragrance, I don't necessarily think it is a safe blind buy. It is definitely a little too refined for that. If you do blind buy it, it may not appeal to you initially, but similar to my case when I sampled it, it might grow on you rapidly. It's one of those fragrances you begin to appreciate the more you smell it. This fragrance has excellent value, going for the $70 - $80 range for the full bottle and presentation on sites like Aurafragrance and E-DiscountPerfumes. Even Jomashop's mediocreness has this one in a decent price range. Anyhow, that's almost everything you need to know about Prada L'Homme Intense. Please try this one out. TL/DR; sophisticated, alluring, concise and elegant fragrance yet subtle and mysterious with prominent iris over some amber, tonka bean, and leather. Moderately above average performance and excellent value. P.S., This fragrance goes extremely well with Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EDP.

Prada L'Homme Intense (2017) Category: Oriental Amadeirado Masculino Perfumista: Daniela Andrier Prada L'Homme Intense has evolved darkly, elegantly and sophisticatedly from DNA that is already part of the L'Homme line. A high or classic fragrance that is delicate and clean of iris, deeply enriched with a strong base, resinous and animal-like. Piramide Olfativa: Topo note: Iris – floral, atalcada, lifting metal, it is a great star of abertura, markando presença from the beginning with its refined aura. Delivery notes: Âmbar – confers heat and density. Patchouli – terroso and úmido, traz um toque misterioso and luxury. Fundamental notes: Fava Tonka – doce, cremosa, with abaunilhadas nuances. Couro – confers masculinity and a pegada but intense and night. Sândalo – add sweet cream to the final secagem. Longevity is excellent, easily lasting 8 hours on average. Projection is strong at the beginning of 2 hours, after a while it turns on a rotating screen, but close to the skin, it cannot be seen. Fixing the roupas: It may last but. Ideal for warm and cold climates, like rain and winter. A fragrance like this but not, perfect for encounters, formal events, sophisticated notes and professional use in environments but reserved. Final Rating: 9.5/10 Elegant, sensual and of high performance, it is a fragrance that transmits security and sophistication without being exaggerated. Comparison with the outros of the line: Prada L’Homme (2016): O classico moderno. But limpo, floral and “fresh office-friendly”. Ideal for daily use, work and short climates. A iris aqui é but luminosa e leve, com uma base mais sutil de âmbar e madeira. Prada L’Homme L’Eau (2017): A versão but leve, fresca e aquatica da linea. Traz a iris but suave, with nuances of ginger and neroli, ideal for days and casual occasions. It's discreet and comfortable, but with minimal projection and long life. Prada L’Homme Intense (2017): A versão mais encorpada, quente e sensual. O DNA of my iris continues to present, but agora abraçado by heart, âmbar and tonka, where that lhe confers but present, personalidade and poder de fixação. If you want to get an elegant perfume, like a toque but not so deep, it's a perfect perfume.

In my opinion, this fragrance is somewhat of a masterpiece, but it's a masterpiece in the same way that Dior Homme Intense is a masterpiece. They both smell absolutely amazing, but the times that you can wear them are relatively limited. Prada L'Homme Intense is very much an iris-forward fragrance, but compared to the original L'Homme, the iris is less fresh and more buttery for lack of a better term. However, it's still fresher than the iris in the Dior Homme and Valentino Uomo lines. It almost has a dryer sheet type of smell. You also get some leather and vanilla, and that's about it. Sure, there are some other nuances to this fragrance done in typical Prada style that add a bit of subtle complexity to it, but overall, it's a pretty linear scent. Even though I absolutely love this scent, I don't think I will reach for it very often because the original L'Homme is just so much more versatile. Whenever I want to smell like iris, the original gives me exactly what I'm looking for, and I know it will be considerably more enjoyable to the people around me. That's not to say that other people wouldn't like the smell of Intense, but to pull off such a luxurious smelling fragrance, you better look the part as well or this one will get you the wrong kind of attention. It definitely comes off as more of a formal or dressed up scent, and it does project quite a bit more. While I absolutely love the scent itself, I can't safely recommend it to people just wanting a nice scent meant to be worn a lot. It's limited in its application, but if you don't mind that aspect of it or just happen to love iris-dominate fragrances, then I think you would be very happy adding this gem to your collection. If you're new to fragrances, you have to be cautious when taking advice from influencers. I've seen many of them say this is the best version of Prada L'Homme, but I think such statements are a bit pretentious. Intense is a wonderful work of art, but it simply can't compare to the utility of the original. Overall, I give Prada L'Homme Intense a 9/10. It's a gorgeous scent, but it's not perfect due to its limited wearability. Original Prada L'Homme though? 10/10. Wear it anytime you want. It's amazing. You don't need the flankers. The original is the true masterpiece.

The opening is a powdery iris right away, airy and refined with a subtle Prada style soapiness that sits more in the background than the original. Dry woods and a soft suede like leather give it structure early, with a slight sweetness keeping it approachable. There’s also a faint spicy edge that sharpens the powder just enough. The texture is airy but with a noticeable warmth underneath, and it stays fairly linear through the first couple hours. In the mid, the iris pulls back and the scent becomes warmer and slightly darker, with a touch more sweetness but still controlled. The powderiness gradually turns creamy, smoothing into the base while the woods and suede leather continue to provide a backbone. By the end of the mid, the powder is mostly gone, replaced by a creamy, clean, lightly sweet profile that feels denser and warmer but still not cloying. You can still make out all of the notes from earlier in the wear, however. The drydown is a smooth, creamy, sweet-leaning base with soft suede leather and woods, staying consistent through the later hours. The finish is warm, clean, and cohesive with strong longevity. Prada L’Homme Intense is an amazing fragrance. It’s what I wished the OG was; a nice masculine iris with a touch more sweetness than other masculine iris fragrances (at least ones that I have tried). It still maintains that Prada “soapy” vibe but not overly so. I could see this being signature scent worth, except maybe in the dead of summer. My only nit pick is I would’ve like a touch more change throughout, as the wear is more linear than what I would like. Still.. a damn near perfect fragrance. 9.5/10

Out of all the popular iris based fragrances among us in the fragrance community this is probably my favorite, yet for some reason I put it off until it was the last one I obtained. I actually even prefer it to the original Dior H'omme Parfum, Valentino Uomo Intense, Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir Parfum and my personal second favorite, the original Valentino Uomo. I don't really consider JPG Le Male Le Parfum to be a true iris based fragrance as their trademark tonka and lavender are more prominent than the iris is. I don't find Code Parfum interesting enough for it's price even through the grey market. And, I find Dior H'omme Intense is no longer the amazing fragrance it once was so I did just purchase Valentino Uomo Intense in it's place though now I have to conserve it due to discontinuation so I guess I will have to settle for Dior H'omme Intense. I find Valentino Uomo to be closest to the original, 2007 Dior H'omme and it was amazing! But Prada L'Homme Intense adds a little bit more powder and amber into the mix along with the unlisted but very present violet note, and it's truly just the chef's kiss of iris based scents. I have always loved ionone heavy frags but when paired with amber, powdered violet and a smooth suede leather accord alongside a unbelievably smooth patchouli!!! Enjoyed the original, always found it to be a safe, clean, soapy office fragrance that performed very well for me. Quick disclaimer - Big fan of Dior's iris based scents and love the Prada Luna Rossa lineup (underrated imo) and Prada Carbon. I will start a hype train for this Intense version. It is fantastic. These ingredients smell very very very natural. Compared to the original, the addition of more leather, tonka, amber (note breakdowns can be wrong but I definitely get warmer luxurious elements) adds a small about of body and depth. Just a touch. This isn't a blob or thick goop. All the aromatic velvety qualities of the original are still here - the sillage for a clean fragrance like this is impressive. In that regard its similar to Dior Homme. And this Prada Intense version adds a balsamic quality I didn't notice in the original - like a dash of Bleu Chanel. Lastly, the note balance above shows a heavy dose of patchouli, and while patchouli is there, it's blended and fear not, iris is still the star attraction. Smooth, very smooth. Too much patchouli makes a fragrance smell old and dated - this avoids that. Full bottle worthy indeed. Prada is really competitive these last few years.

Right now I'm simultaneously trying the 4 most popular designer iris fragrances - Prada L'homme Intense, Valentino Uomo Intense (2021), Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privée and Dior Homme Intense (2011) - on different parts of my arms and this is my neutral opinion after more than half an hour has elapsed. In terms of strength and projection, Prada LHI is slightly ahead, closely followed by Valentino UI and Dior HI. Givenchy GRP is the weakest. If you prefer powdery iris smell, go with Prada LHI. If you prefer more airy and sweet iris smell, go with Valentino UI. If you prefer more Woody and vetiver mixed with iris, go with Dior HI. If you don't like iris too much and want a light sweet, smoked chestnut perfume, go with Givenchy GRP - the iris comes out later and that too quite weak. Coming to my personal preference, I love Prada LHI the most. The powdery iris evokes a cosy, soft and sophisticated feeling. It's strong enough to get noticed and yet creates an aura of safety which will be perfect for social events with close family or friends, or even formal office parties. This is definitely one of my favourite perfumes.

Honestly, this is the best fragrance I’ve ever worn. From the first spray until it completely fades, it smells luxurious, smooth, and incredibly elegant. The way it enters the nose feels so polite and refined, exactly the type of scent I’ve been searching for all this time. The opening hits with a noticeable iris note, but only for a moment. Then there’s a brief herbal/granny-powder vibe, which I’m usually not a fan of, but it disappears quickly. And honestly, I don’t even care because everything else blends so beautifully that my nose and brain instantly said, ‘wow.’ After that, a warm and slightly sweet vibe comes in most likely amber, tonka, and a touch of creamy sandalwood and this is what really keeps the fragrance interesting. It never gets boring because the transitions are smooth and well-done. Every stage opening, mid, and drydown fits my nose perfectly, which is surprising because my nose is extremely sensitive. Dior Homme EDT (2011) and Valentino Uomo EDT both give me headaches, but this one? Not even once. It’s 100% comfortable, elegant, and easy to wear. For me, this fragrance is simply perfect.

I am revising my OG review. I previously wore it in the summer and I finally learned that not everything is all seasons. Its the dead of winter and this is a fantastic fragrance. Its a little less powdery and much more sweet than L'Homme. I am in a scent bubble this time. The last time it sat close to the skin. Ill still make the comparison to the Dior, but this is a little less boring. Its a perfect nonconspicious office scent where you just want to blend in and smell clean and fresh. 8.25/10 in the winter. I would still like to sample the PUIG, but I have read that there is no difference. I was offered 100ml for $100 which is the same as I paid for 100ml of L'eau and 200ml of L'Homme. Those were worth the price of admission. I think that this one is not, even if it offers better performance. The scent is just too bland. I'd love to know what you guys mean by dark. Dark to me is Interlude Black Iris. When I think dark I think in terms of Gothic accords. To me, this is a perfect example of an office safe fragrance, which is the exact opposite of what I think of in terms of darkness. Please enlighten folks.

It's a cool, rainy afternoon here in Vancouver, Canada and the sky is dark and cloudy and wet leaves are all over the ground. I'm wearing Prada L'Homme Intense and really enjoying this dark, sexy scent in a climate that I feel this scent was meant for. PLI has all the notes I love in a scent beautifully blended together. I love scents with Iris, Tonka Bean, Leather, and Sandalwood. The Patchouli (which I like in fragrances if done right) is quite prominent in this scent as well. I own many iris-based scents - DH, DHI,DHE, DHP, Valentino Uomo, Valentino Uomo Intense, as well as Prada L'Homme...but this scent is not 'average' or typical...it has a dark seductive vibe to it in a mysterious way. I wouldn't describe this scent as an 'everyday' scent - Prada L'Homme or Dior Homme Eau could be worn more regularly (and maybe even more mass appealing), but it is just an inviting, mysterious and wonderful fragrance. I would imagine a gentleman wearing this scent in the Fall/Winter...well-dressed having a glass of wine with an attractive woman on a couch in front of a fireplace. This stuff is special. Jose

First of all, i'm not into ''IRIS'' notes, I own a bottle of Le Male Le Parfum but can't say this one is an ''IRIS'' fragrance compared to others, because to my nose is Lavender and Cardamom are prominent. And i've tried several brands like Dior Homme Intense, Givenchy Reserve Privée and Armani Code Parfum. So after watching all the reviews online, i deciced to blind buy Prada L'Homme Intense, oh man oh man... this is such a gorgeous scents. I know it's crazy blind buying a fragrance without sample it first, especially has notes that i'm not used to it, but after i get it i did not disappointed at all! is it late to get this bottle? hmm i guess it's better late than never. To my nose, iris here are not too lipsticky, perfect combination between Iris,patchouli,tonka bean,amber and leather in the background, it's perfect balance, not too sweet also the leather i get here is suede leather, it is not too dark like the others mentioned so IMO it can be worn casually in evening summer / night. I definitely agree when overyone says Prada L'Homme Intense is Niche quality. 10/10 Masterpiece cheers

Received it yesterday. Here are my thoughts. When i first sprayed it, the very first 10 seconds, i thought i shouldn't purchase it since i already own Dior Homme Intense. Those first 10 seconds was hell. I smelled the EXACT same thing that i smell on DHI, just a little sharper. Then, as sad as i was, i sit on my couch thinking what a waste of 60 euros it was. And i caught something in the air... Coming from the place i sprayed... Smelled my hand again... And there you go... 60 euros don't seem a waste now. It is an amazing and unique fragrance. I totally get the iris but there's something more fresh and masculine on Prada than the Dior. Dior's iris comes more lipsticky and gourmand to me. This one, i can't explain how... You feel the iris there, it is dominant, but is not dominant too. It's fresh, it's masculine, it's classy, it's sophisticated and for me it's versatile too. When it comes to fall, spring and winter you can wear it day & night. As for summer, i imagine myself wearing this one only on a night out. Not during the day. Prada, you are something else.

The holy trinity of designer men's iris: Dior Homme Intense, Valentino Uomo Intense & this, Prada L'homme Intense. If you are a fan of the OG, you'll like this better. Darker and heavier, great for evenings, but still has that Prada soapy freshness, making it wearable during the day and as a daily office driver. Elegantly powdery. Confidence boosting. Makes you double check yourself that you are clean-shaven, sharply dressed and ready to take care of business. And the dry down, f**k me, only gets better. Hard to describe but, if there is such a thing, it is a man's fragrance in the most immaculate way. It is not as lipsticky as the Dior nor edgy as the Valentino. They all have their own vibes in an awesome way. Dior is a formal tuxedo in a Maybach. Valentino is a full-grain leather jacket on a vintage Ducati. Prada is an european-cut suit in a Ferrari. No redundancy between them; didn't think I needed this considering all the iris focused scents I already had but this one went straight to the top. Don't hesitate to get this. Better yet, JUST GET ONE.

Holy crap this stuff is good. It's SO good. Not just for a designer, pour this into a high end niche producer's bottle and it would be rated 4.7 if not more. The iris in this is so velvety, so smooth. This perfume feels like lying down on a silk bedding. It's powdery, kinda dark but SUPER clean as well. It's simple, but thanks to that so well blended, and you can just feel the quality in the iris oils. It's not gonna be for everyone so not a blind buy, not everyone will want this powdery iris smell on them, but if you do, honestly this is one of the best fragrances ever, and it's super versatile as well, maybe just not for daytime on a hot day - other than that this will work anywhere. Find a sample if you haven't had the chance to try this, it's unbelievably good. The only downside is that the opening is a bit harsh, but it goes away after like 30 seconds so nothing to worry about. I sprayed this on me and 15 minutes later ordered a 150ml bottle. TRY IT.

Why this got discontinued I will never understand. There are a lot of similarities between the EDT and this, but not enough to say it’s redundant to own both. The same environments and occasions that you would wear the EDT, you would wear this. So maybe it’s redundant in that sense. You could say the same about different aquatics, but that means nothing. The leather smells as classy as the florals. Think black leather. They managed to somehow take the EDT, that is already a sophisticated masculine scent, and made it more sophisticated with the addition of leather. The vanilla is subtle, more of a smoothing and rounding out note to bring it all together. I’ve smelled this before. If you’ve ever sat in a new car with black leather seats. It reminds me of that. But in a wearable way. I can see people who don’t like iris liking this more than the EDT. Even though the iris is still noticeable here, it’s less potent compared to the EDT. I love them both.

Very lovely powdery iris, I don't know really what else to say. If you like Iris you'll love it, if not you'll hate it. Powdery, sweet, clean and uplifting, also Iris reminds me of a lot of spices, reminds me of a handmade soap shop run by a lovely old woman named Barbara. I've filled in summer on this one but that's because I live in Sweden so summer is pretty much what the rest of the world considers spring when it comes to temperatures. To be fair I don't really get why this is considered a mostly winter fragrance at all actually. It's very floral and uplifting, yes a little bit sweeter and heavier than the EDT, but it's not like it's some resinous cinnamon bomb or something. You could easily wear this to evenings even in a warm summer imho. The only problem is that this is an anti-casual fragrance. I don't see how you could dress this down. Walking around in a hoodie and sweatpants with this on you would be weird, but everything is doable.

Prada L’homme Intense has been rumored to be discontinued since 2022. Yet my batch, 22Y02CJ, was manufactured in October 2024. It still features on Prada’s Australia and Singapore websites, so it is at least available in some countries. Prada L’homme has been one of my favourite fragrances since purchasing a bottle upon its release 10 years ago. Intense takes the classy profile further with the addition of leather, which is my favourite note. I think both are worthwhile owning. I thought I didn’t need Intense since I already own other iris fragrances (Dior Homme Intense, Valentino Uomo Intense, etc.) and other leather fragrances (Tom Ford Ombré Leather, etc.). I was wrong. The debate isn’t whether L’homme or L’homme Intense is better (just get both), but between this and Luna Rossa Black as they occupy the same space. The answer is always L’homme Intense. It’s much more interesting and longer lasting.

This is an absolute stunner of a fragrance!! Just got this in for father's day ❤️ and I have to give thanks to my wife for gifting me this awesome fragrance!! The iris in this is very clean and I personally get a bit of that leather but not too prominent and the patchouli and tonka is just a blessing to my nose. The jury is out on sillage and longevity because I haven't given this a days wear yet but I love this scent profile so much that it's not that important to me. I do believe this can be worn in summer evenings and all year round except for high humid heat but definitely winter, spring, autumn this will definitely shine. Very happy to add this to my collection and this is definitely a 10/10 for me because it's just a well done clean and classy fragrance.

Prada L’Homme Intense is a masterclass in simplicity done right. It’s not overly complex, but every element pulls its weight. The result is a clean, powerful scent that feels sharp, confident, and completely put together. You get that deep, dark, seductive core, leather, and vanilla, but it’s lifted by that signature iris note up top. It opens with this blast of soapy freshness before settling into something rich and commanding. Sweet, leathery, a little powdery: it’s the kind of scent that makes you feel like you’re walking into the room already three steps ahead. This is comfortably the best designer fragrance I’ve ever had the pleasure of smelling. Longevity is insane for me. I get around 5-6 hours of sillage and can still smell it on skin 12+ hours later.

I’ve been trying out some of the popular iris fragrances lately, and at some point I genuinely started to think iris just isn’t for me. I never really understood why smelling like makeup became such a major selling point in men’s fragrances, or why women seem to enjoy that makeup bag vibe on a man. It always felt a bit strange and hard to connect with. Thankfully, Prada L’Homme Intense doesn’t really play in that space. The iris here feels more grounded and natural, with a smoother, slightly green floral character rather than that sharp, lipstick like iris. It comes across as elegant, sophisticated, cleaner, and comforting instead of straight up makeup bag territory. This fragrance made me rethink iris altogether, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I'll start by saying - if you already have the EDT like I have, don't feel pressured to buy this flanker as well. Now, if you DON'T have the EDT, then get this one instead. To my nose, the scent between the two is nearly indistinguishable until the VERY far dry down, like 7-8 hours from applying. It smells clean, professional and sophisticated, really like the EDT, but ever slightly stronger. This works any time, any place. a must own in my opinion as it covers so many bases without compromising anything. Longevity? - GREAT, 8 hours plus. Projection? - around 1.5 feet away, more than enough. Price? - I found it for 60$, not even on sale, but I'd buy it even of it was 100$. Compliments? - oh yeah...

As Lady Gaga once said: Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, k-totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference! Okay. Jokes aside, in all seriousness, this is a beautiful, classy and luxurious scent. Cannot get enough of it. Iris and leather are beautifully blended. It is floral, powdery, sweet, dark and masculine. Unique and very well-blended. Not one aspect or note of this fragrance disturbs me. It just works seamlessly. For me it can be worn any season and anywhere but ideally winter/fall/night type of fragrance. Can be worn daily to office, for a date, you name it. I simply adore this perfume. 9/10.

Sweet make-up bag with lipstick iris. How does this sound like a man's fragrance? Idfk. What I do know is that this is my most complimented fragrance from all of my ex-gfs. This has been signature scent for the last 3 years. I find it very versatile, sweet, has good staying power, kinda intimate projection, which is better in my opinion for this type of scent. You can wear it whenever, just not in the summer, not in the heat. The iris, the vanilla, the leather, the amber, sandalwood and patchouli.. the unique designer aspect.. Call me a glazer but this fragrance just does wonders for me, it's magic. So classy and sophisticated and manly smelling. 10/10 Smell 9/10 Longevity 8.5/10 Sillage

I'm a bit confused. Prada L'Homme is one of my favorites of all time. If I had to start all over with just 5 colognes, it would be one. So, my wife got me Prada L'Homme Intense as a Christmas gift... it smells exactly the same. Am I missing something here? They are identical to my nose. Don't get me wrong - I'm not disappointed, it's like getting a backup bottle. I'm just wondering what the change was supposed to be. UPDATE: Ok, so I've been testing them side by side for over a week now. They are different when smelled up close. It's in the up close that you can smell the leather note. In the air, however, they are nearly identical.

I do pick up the iris, but its nothing like the god like Dio Homme Original, or the Intense. Its dry. At first it was a dropped ball for me for that reason. However the Leather and patchouli blends masterfully beautifully and then.. I pick up licorice. It goes in a totally different direction and not a bad one. Funny enough even though that note it not listed, other people have picked that up, so I am not the only one. In all, its seems it would be the interaction btw patchouli, leather that bring the black out. Anyway its a fantastic perfume for mature men. Its also good for office, just do not overspray, as it is pretty strong

Prada L’Homme Intense is what happens when the clean, soapy elegance of the original puts on a black wool coat. The iris is still there, but now it’s wrapped in smooth tonka, amber and a touch of leather, giving a warm, slightly sweet, quietly confident character. On my skin it smells like a tailored outfit for a cool evening: deeper, creamier and more grounded than L’Homme, without becoming heavy or loud. Longevity and projection are solid without being overbearing, which makes it perfect for dinners, dates and autumn or winter evenings when you want something refined but with more presence than the fresher flankers.

I'm glad this nasty fragrance is discontinued. Prada L'homme intense is bad. Like really bad. Horrible. It is disgusting. It is too synthetic and nauseous. I don't know why have people bought this in first place? They will regret this horrible for sure. I can't imagine there is any worse fragrance than this nasty one. Sorry! I should write very bad reviews about it everywhere, because I don't wanna people go and buy the remaining stock of this stunning and marvelous fragrance! It is a masterpiece by all means. If there is a good definition of perfumery perfection, it is the Prada L'homme Intense!

I’m gonna write my honest experience here I use to own this fragrance back in 2019 i was obsessed with it specially back then I use to live in Mallorca Spain the summer nights rocking this fragrance was something but after all those years I ended up buying it again 2024 it was weaker and not same anymore then I’ve been told that they are two types one made in Spain witch is darker the one made in France is lighter and fresher so I started hunting for the made in Spain one I couldn’t be happier after find it brings so many memories it’s crazy how can a smell takes you back in time

I should wait to review this until I get my hands on a PUIG sample, but all I have is a decant from L'oreal. It falls short in the performance category. It has legs, but it sits really close to the skin. I rate thr OG and L'aeu so high because of the excellent powdery accord, but this doesn't have it. To me, its a better performing, more feminine Carbon. If I see a PUIG bottle offered cheap, I will pick it up, but I am not very enthusiastic about it. Dior does this scent so much better, but still boring with the exception of their Intense which is superb! 7.5/10

This review is for a PUIG batch which is Made In Spain from 2019 . L'Oreal butchered just about all of the Pradas, so if yours is Made In France, a better version probably exists. I was finally able to aquire a 200ml of this for $140. They are pretty easy to find and the price isn't too much more. Comparing to Prada L'Homme, there is a lot less powder and the performance is cranked up a notch. The iris is the star here and its iris is done better than L'Homme and L'eau. Its not as buttery as Dior, which is my favorite iris, but it's still excellent. 9.25

This is the best iris fragrance i've smelt so far. Better than DHI IMO. The iris is better blended here and the other notes support it to give it an elegant but dark and sophisticated scent. It also leans more masculine to my nose as well, I don't see this being unisex at all. I've also tried the original L'homme and while its a great fragrance I find the intense version more interesting while still being able to be worn in professional environments. Performance was really good on my skin as well. Could easily smell it the next day after a night out.

I absolutely love this fragrance. In my opinion, it’s the best Prada has ever made. It’s smooth, rich, and incredibly well-balanced, with a perfect mix of powdery, sweet, and slightly woody notes. It feels classy, elegant, and very refined. Something that really stands out without being overwhelming. The performance is great too, lasting for hours and leaving a beautiful scent trail. Iris, iris, iris. You smell something like this or Dior Homme Intense / Old Parfum and the New Parfum and you understand why this is so beautiful. Even when someone says that it smells like grandma or even worse: “grandmas diaper” Iris is not for everyone and specifically not for men frangances, but Prada made this for us and it’s really great. I like the sweetness iris and freshness it gives, a new version of the EDT, more formal, but with that hint of the lovely iris, I have both the EDT and this, cannot regret it.

Probably the best cologne in my collection, I enjoy it's masculine scent. The iris is so good to the point where even if you dislike the note of iris you will still enjoy this scent. The leather isn't to potent either and it blends in with the other notes so nicely, everything is very well balanced. Too cloying to wear in the hot summer daytime heat but you can pull this off in any season at night. As well as in the daytime for winter, fall, and spring. Very good stuff get it before there's no more left.

I enjoy Prada Intense, it has a special certain mood and persona to it, almost like a distinct entity on its own. So smooth and delicate almost like a moissanite gem crystal falling into a velvety silky cloud, its enveloping and inviting never far to impress. And this can easily be used for winter, fall, and cool summer nights It's that good. I dont get any ideas of ppl below mentioned that this scent is mature & dark it is totally different.. it is not dark or mature, it is very versatile you can wear all year round powdery at first, then semi-sweet, soft and youthful this is the best offered by Prada I've ever smelt, much better than the EDT to my nose it is very identical to Dior Homme Parfum 2025 I love the bottle and good price for now 10/10 My batch code is from 2024, so I dont think they discontinued this gem

Often compared to other iris-forward fragrances like Dior Homme Intense, Valentino Uomo Intense etc. But, other than its opening, Prada L’homme Intense smells nothing like those. Instead it is two parts Prada L’homme and one part Luna Rossa Black. Compared to the original, it is more floral, sweeter and more ambery, hence also more unisex. But if you already have Prada L’homme, like I do, this is not significantly different enough that you absolutely have to have it.

I cannot be impartial, Prada's soapy DNA is my absolute favourite of all time and I love iris. Since this is Daniela Andrier for Prada, it is of course perfection. This fragrance is a masterclass in what seems impossible, which is uniting dichotomy - fresh yet rich, airy yet substantial, it is completely original. There's no need to bother with Dior (too lipstick), Givenchy (amberwood horrors) or Valentino (cloying sweetness) - Prada has the best men's iris.

DizWiz said it well, it trades that l'homme's daily versatility for pure class. I myself can't stand the original Prada l'homme as it gave me a headache but something with this scent clicked with me. Its really pleasant frag and smells "rich". I don't wear this that often because I feel like I should wear a suit and tie with this. Smell this first before buying. For the price, I got 100ml for 100€ at a discount and I'd say that it was a fair price.

I love the l'homme scents, fresh, clean, soapy and just amazing. Leau is my favorite but I wear the other two more throughout the year. This intense is so good. The price of these is outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone, I get a mood lift everytime I wear these, it's hard not to mention the others when talking about one of them. If you want to smell calm, confident and clean these addicting scents might be for you.

Every time I get a whiff of this fragrance, I imagine the monopoly man with his top hat & cane and a whole bunch of money. Best type of occasion that this is suited for I'd say is formal events like family gatherings at a fancy dinner party. If anybody smells this fragrance on you, let me tell you they're going to definitely think that you have money. I can say this is like a clean and soapy version of Dior Homme Parfum.

Recently repurchased. After owning it once, and having mixed feelings, I decided to revisit. Still don't get the leather, but honestly I'm not sure why I was so put-off initially. And the performance is incredible. Whatever. Happy to have it back. (Although I think the gap in availability the last couple years was a reformulation. New bottle doesn't perform anywhere close to the bottle I unloaded a couple years ago).

Sophisticated take on the OG L'Homme. While it shares the DNA of the L'Homme line, this is a standout. The way it evolves reminds me of how Dior Homme Intense separates itself from that line. Suited for more dressier, and cooler occasions. Probably my favorite in the line. Great performance and projection. I find this a more mature scent, but younger crowd can pull this off if done correctly.

Simple, elegant, sophisticated, effortlessly wearable and just plain nice; I reach for it more often than I expected. Warm amber and soft iris, creamy tonka bean and a touch of patchouli, this is smooth and elegant. It feels rich without being overwhelming; clean and classy, perfect for work or a night out. A masterpiece fragrance. A magnificent combination of Iris and Prada's signature take on powdery accords. If you don't like Iris, you will not like this. However, you will smell clean, fresh, confident, and classy AF. It is truly a more intense version of the original Prada L'Homme. I get an easy 8-10 hours of longevity. I wear this year round, except for the hottest of summer days. 10/10

One of my favorites- it's (near) perfect, and I don't use that word lightly. It's masterfully blended, versatile, and extremely addictive, especially in the dry down. I get about 8 hours on skin with moderate projection, so certainly not a bomb but ideal for professional settings. I need to try other fragrances by Daniela Andrier, because she is evidentally damn good at her job.

Somewhat versatile, as long as it's below 65 F (America on top bbg). Lasts very long but the projection is pretty bad after the first hour. This fragrance is a dark laundry scent in my opinion. It's not scary though. I see a lot of people saying they get scared when they put this on, not sure what that's about. Maybe a little scared actually. I don't know, I'm nervous now.
