Well, well, well... what a pleasant surprise! I already love the original Paradoxe, and don't usually enjoy the "intense" version of anything as it almost always means one thing: amber overdose. So I wasn't expecting to like this. I don't mind ambers as a group (I love myrrh and benzoin for example), it's specifically amber/ambroxan, vetiver, 'smoke' notes, etc that give me trouble. They SING off my skin and Paradoxe is one of very few perfumes that is configured in a way where the amber doesn't trample all over everything in its path... To my utter delight, I can say the same for Paradoxe Intense! While it does predictably turn up the volume on the amber, everything else still holds its own. The vanilla is extremely prominent alongside the amber, and I'm getting the neroli and what I think is oakmoss too (to be truthful I still don't know what oakmoss actually smells like, I just know I always end up enjoying perfumes with it included). While reminiscent of the original, for me this intense version is plenty different enough to justify its existence. The original is VERY fruity, with a heavy splash of white florals to go along with it, and a tiny bit of vanilla and amber rests in the base (which gradually comes out more and more as the perfume settles down). This on the other hand basically flips the original's scent pyramid on its head; the base notes shine bright centre-stage, with the white florals supporting. There's a very brief sweetness in the opening but doesn't stick around for long. Dare I say I think I actually like this more than the original...? I'm shocked. My usual taste leans towards fresh, light perfumes. This is veeeeery heavy (at least by my standards, it might not be for those of you whose usual wheelhouse is heavy, smoky perfumes) but I'm loving it!! ETA: just read the other reviews below and wanted to say I agree, this is earthier and I suppose more 'sophisticated' than the original, one person even used the word masculine and again I agree! This is still a feminine-leaning perfume, but pulls far closer to being unisex to the point I predict many men will also be adding this to their collection too.

Yes--this is it; this is my new designer fragrance obsession! Paradoxe Intense is an archetypal designer, but at the same time, it is also a cutting edge molecular experiment typically reserved for the world of niche fragrance. I initially delayed trying Pradoxe Intense because I couldn't stand the original EDP. The EDP was so disappointing after seeing the exciting bottle, the intriguing name paradoxe, and the marketing campaign. The EDP, to me, smells like a sad, flat copy of Alien, which seemed to be the theme of designer releases that year--sad, derivative, screechy, yet forgettable while florals with a mushy, headache inducing vanilla base. Where is the paradox, the mystery, the innovation? So, it is now the beginning of 2026 and I am just getting around to trying the Intense flanker and I only did it because I found a carded sample in a box of samples my mother passed along to me. The opening does have a touch of that screechiness found in the EDP, but it quickly calms down to expose pixi sticks candy. The candy sticks around throughout the entire wear and enough floral lingers to give it lift and projection. But, Paradoxe is much more that floral pixi sticks. There is a sweet and modern "moss" accord in there. It is very difficult to explain, abstract space moss that smells nothing like oak moss. It smells like chemicals made in a lab, lots and lots of chemicals, maybe new technology. I also smell a lot of hedione. I love hedione. It might also have the same android musk found in For Your Love. Paradoxe Intense really pulled it off this time. With Paradoxe Intense, I feel like I am wearing a basic, yet signature worthy designer, while at the same time I also feel like I am wearing something that Initio might release and sell for $400. This is how you overdose hedione and the rest of the chemical factory--in a designer! We need more designer fragrances like Prada Paradox Intense! 5/5

an utterly guilty pleasure, this is the section leader of a portion of my fragrance collection which i lovingly call my "i smell good!" scents, or the fragrances that are more pleasant than interesting. it is a white floral - creamy, thick, and indolic in the best of ways - juxtaposed with intense citruses and fruitiness and a deep, balsamic ambery and vanillic base. very, VERY intense, with longevity reaching days on clothing. and that's kind of it. it is an idiosyncratically designer fragrance for those moods when i would rather be approachable than severely interesting. on days where it is not the time and place to stick out of the crowd with the loudness of a pop star in an arena of screaming and adoring fans, this is the kind of scent i may reach for. there is nothing wrong with this fragrance, but not all scents have to be so perfect! i love to reach for scents with the "pebble in the shoe" quality: the weird dirtiness of the patchouli in coromandel; the bright and juicy plum and berries before the tuberose of poison; the very evident, almost cigarette-smoke running through the entirety of the amber in shalimar. the closest that prada's paradoxe gets to that pebble is the mossy quality in the heart, which is admittedly why i love the scent so much. it is a little bit bitter - like an ink-pot - but it is very much helped by the accords in the ambrofix, which adds more of the creamy and thick qualities already supplied by the indoles. i was enraptured by the easy-reach quality of this scent every time i went to the department stores and sprayed it on. i would return to it time and time again, finding it just so pleasant. it smells good! that's all. (read like miranda priestly.)

I recently went to Ulta and sampled a bunch of perfumes in hopes of finding a new everyday fragrance. I sprayed this on the back of my hand and literally could not stop smelling my hand for the rest of the day (the smell can linger after washing). I liked this more than any other perfume I sampled that day, and I tried many popular women's fragrances. I wasn't expecting to like this so much, but I couldn't help finding this addictive and delicious. I bought a bottle and it has become my new everyday fragrance. To me, this is mostly a jasmine perfume, with the jasmine being on the more heavy and cloying side. It opens very sweet and fruity and then you really get the jasmine, which lingers for several hours. The dry down lasts 24+ hours on me and is very vanillic and ambery. It has a strong projection and I have gotten soooo many compliments on this. On the downside, it does have a pretty generic designer vibe without a lot of character-- it's just a pretty, feminine smell. Could be too strong for some and not really a safe blind buy. I recommend if you're looking for a good date night perfume, although could be worn literally anywhere, anytime.

I love it. It is Alienish but so satisfying. Immediately after using my sampler today I ordered a bottle - it nearly never happens to me. I prefer it to Alien because it is sweeter with vanilla yet retains herbal, refreshing quality that possibly amber brings and it fascinates me. Yet the jasmine is Alien-style. Today I have a sunny 30° aura but I feel great in it. After the lackluster Halloween I'm Unique this is a statement. Definitely a jasmine bomb, with neroli coming second. I feel the depth of amber in the base, too. Possibly the slightly bitter touches of oakmoss glossed over by bergamot. Softened and rounded by beautiful vanilla. It is intense as the name promisses but I welcome it rather than feel overwhelmed. Bold, rich and intense. The first 2-3 hours are intense, then it mellows but I feel it well on me. A performance I appreciate. In the morning it still is present. Actually it reminds me of Libre Intense, not just Alien.

Fresh, sweet & juicy opening. Lots of clean neroli & mouthwatering sharp jasmine. I know the word sharp isn’t necessarily a positive adjective but I do mean it in the best way. That sharpness mixes with the warm amber & creamy vanilla in a way that makes it radiate off the skin, creating this heavenly aura around you. The moss is like the salt of this composition; enhancing the florals & sweetness around it, making them more pronounced. The way this perfume transforms on my skin is intoxicating. I will always have this in my collection. There is always at least one person that comments how good this smells when I wear it out. You have to use this carefully though, because the sillage is powerful. I would say this is an equal balance of floral & sweet, so if you’re not a big fan of white florals you probably won’t enjoy this. It’s mature, but not in an elderly way; it’s not powdery at all. I love this perfume so much.

there’s just something about this perfume that makes you stop in your tracks. it seems like it should be cloying or overpowering, but although its strong, it’s incredibly intoxicating. people have RAVED to me multiple times about how good i smell it’s crazy. the pear, neroli and bergamot top notes blend together beautifully and are just so gorgeous. i love how it maintains a delicate balance between white floral and vanilla. it works amazingly with my skin chemistry to create a memorable scent. this perfume is like running through a field of white flowers, flower crown atop your head, playing with your cousins until the sun sets, lying down and staring at the setting sun’s reflections upon the water, and waiting until the stars come out. definitely try it out first instead of blind buying because its too strong for many people, but you won’t regret buying it

Wow, opinions of this one are all over the place and it seems to inspire strong feelings of love or hate! This is one of the few mass market perfumes I have in my collection and I freaking adore it! The luscious color of the juice perfectly matches the scent - it's deeply fruity, the pear is really noticeable (and I love it for that!), and the moss and amber deepen the floral notes, making this a bit darker and more exciting than your typical fruity floral. The lasting power is GREAT and this is one of the few in my collection that garners compliments! I've been enjoying wearing this one so much I've been considering picking up the original Paradoxe as well, because this scent profile is so addictive to me. The original could be worn anytime of year while the intense is best suited for the cooler months. Big love for Prada Paradoxe Intense!

I really don’t need this perfume, but I’m going to buy it anyway. I just can’t resist. It’s basic and generic, but it smells so incredibly good. I owned the original but gave it away because I thought it was a bit scratchy and boring? I got bored of myself when I wore it. I might get tired of this one eventually too, but I’m willing to take the risk. Not every perfume has to be exciting and unique. Sometimes you just want to throw on something mass-appealing. And I can already picture this being my everyday scent, especially now heading into early autumn. Also. The longevity and sillage on this paradoxe-line is insane. I buy it 30 % because of it’s performance and 70 % because of the scent. The performance is NOT a basic bitch.

I have to be mentally prepared to wear this fragrance. It is so complex to me. It is VERY strong, especially initially. Its like this sharp blast, but the scent is so hard to describe. Like DBIR (which I love) it is so well blended that it is hard to distinguish what you are smelling. It does smooth out, but it is still like BOOM, in your face, incredibly long lasting. It is sweet and fruity, but there is an overarching "darkness" and maturity throughout the entire wear. I wore this for my brothers wedding day, applied it once at 2PM, and I still smelled it on my clothes and body at 5AM. I hate the phrase beast mode, but this is 100% a beast mode fragrance. Perfect for evening wear, especially formal events.

I'm sooo into this perfume, it's unreal. I don't do impulse buying, but I smelt this last week in store and I bought the large bottle on the spot. I've been wearing it almost every day since. It's feminine, sexy and intoxicating. It lasts forever on my skin and it projects really well. People will ask you what you are wearing and will compliment you. But most importantly, i just enjoy how as I move around it bounces off my skin. It's a win win. I am just so happy to have it in my collection! I smelt the original Prada Paradoxe when it just came out. I thought it was really nice but I didn't feel I needed to add it to my already large collection but the Prada Paradoxe Intense reeled me in!!

Prada Paradoxe Intense is one of the most beautiful perfumes I have ever owned. The scent is absolutely stunning, and a little goes a very long way. Just a couple of sprays are enough to last all day. The longevity and projection are outstanding. It leaves a beautiful, elegant scent trail that people notice, and I often receive compliments when I wear it. If you enjoy rich, sophisticated fragrances with excellent performance, I highly recommend it. It's especially perfect for the colder months, when it really shines. I absolutely love wearing it in autumn and winter, and I will definitely repurchase it.

At first I didn't love this fragrance, the moss note reminded me of mold and it felt like I was wearing old damp clothing that I had tried to save by throwing on some perfume. However, after about an hour of wear, it smells like the most delicious sugary floral. It lasts forever on clothes, and is easily my go to floral fragrance. It is a much sweeter and less fresh version of the original, I like both but would buy this one as it has more lasting power. Overall, I love this fragrance and would definitely repurchase, but not a safe blind buy due to the moss note and potentially cloying sweetness.

Was surprised to see I hadn’t left a review on this already as I LOVE this one! Opens with the citrus-y edge and rounds out into the strong white floral. I think it’s very easy for white florals to read as unremarkable to my nose—many of them I just don’t feel strongly about. I’m not sure what it is about this one that makes me adore it!! I wouldn’t say it’s revolutionary or anything the way some here say they’ve seen others claim, but it’s just a great scent. Femininity without compromising on “softness” (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing in other fragrances fwiw :P), powerful and compelling.

This is the sweeter, flirtier, younger sister of YSL Libre Intense. I've had a decant of Libre Intense for a couple of months now and even though it's a bold and interesting fragrance, there was always a particular opening note that smelt like synthetic grape, present in poor-quality candy, that didn't appeal to me. But Paradoxe Intense on the other hand got the notes right! It's perfect for a first date on a warm summer night. It smells like a luxurious vacation around the Amalfi Coast. It's a birthday brunch scent. I'm really excited to test it out for different seasons and occasions.

I’m a big fan of niche, subtle “clean girl” fragrances and this is the antithesis of them - but every now and again l need something that really stands out and makes me feel confident and assertively feminine and to be “that” girl instead of the clean one. This is a bold, sweet and earthy perfume with a floral/fruity opening of pear and jasmine and a sweet, mossy vanillic/ambery dry down with amazing longevity. I’m sharing a warm pear tarte tartin with amore mio on a hot summer night in a fragrant Italian garden. Sensory overload.

I’m convinced most of the negative feedback is coming from people who had a similar experience to the one I had upon smelling this for the first time on a test strip. I dismissed it as loud, generic & synthetic. It was only until I got my hands on a dabber and truly tested the layers of this fragrance on my skin, that I fell absolutely in love with it. It’s still bold, and it’ll really depend on how this does with your chemistry. I can’t stop reaching for this one though. The dry down is intoxicatingly warm & sultry.

When they said Intense, they weren't kidding! I sprayed this 3 days ago, and I can still smell it! I'm not usually one for gourmands, but this is the exception. I don't know much about identifying each individual component, but I can definitely detect the vanilla in this "beast". I only have the travel size, but I like it so much that I may have to get a larger size once I run out. One does have to take care not to overspray, however, lest you induce headaches; I made the "mistake" of spraying 8 small sprays.

So I have over 70 bottles of perfume now (I know I'm obsessed) but this one is my favourite of all time! I bought this 5 months ago and my mind is not changing on this. It smells so confident and sexy with white flowers and moss. The dry down is so unique I cannot get enough of it. It stays on clothes FOREVER! I put it on my coat once and 10 days later I wore the coat again I could still smell it. Even if the coat is in a room I would get whiffs of it. BUY IT, ITS SO WORTH IT! I would buy the refill obv!

This. Is. Amazing. It’s like the sexier, more sultry older sister to the original. This has a candied floral sweetness with a splash of a hot booziness but not in an alcohol way; more like a seductive femme fatale way. The vanilla and molecular base notes develop and create the sultry adaptation to your skin, so it’s almost like you just naturally smell like this! Beautifully blended, lasts for a very long time, and gets attention left and right. I’m obsessed and so is everyone that smells it on me.

I don’t get the BR540 references. But I looove this intense version!!! That bourbon vanilla and amber are both kicked up a notch to make this the perfect flanker for cooler weather. I don’t know why it’s rated so low, but I can’t wait to get my hands on the full bottle! EDIT: WOW the longevity is a beast! I sprayed this on my wrist at about 2pm yesterday. It is now 8am the next day and I still smell it on my wrist!!! I will be adding this to my collection for sure

I have both Prada Paradoxe and the Intense version and while I really love both, I definitely reach for Intense more. The scent is just so good. It opens with a burst of bergamot that blends beautifully into this warm, resinous base, giving off a rich, smooth vibe that lingers in the air and stays forever on clothes. It has this dark, feminine energy that feels elegant but powerful total boss lady vibes. I love it so much I’ll for sure be getting a refill :3

If you ever wanna spend money on a perfume please let it be this one! You will receive endless compliments and feel confident wearing it because it smells so beautiful! Everyone I’ve shown this perfume has asked me where I got it and proceeded to purchase it because it’s just that good! It might be a bit pricey but I’ve honestly bought pricier perfumes and none of them are as good as this one. Spoil yourself and buy it!

In 25°C weather from my bottle it has delicate parameters. My sample was much stronger, hmm... It is fresh, citrusy and a white floral avalanche, slightly piquant with warm vanilla base. Gorgeous, but where is my spectacular sillage and strength? It lasts gently for 3 hours and becomes so shy that it can be replaced. Am I the only one having such a huge difference in sillage and strength between sample and the bottle?

May they never change this formula. This is my love. My big love. I asked many patient what they where wearing and it so often turned out to be this one. Still i bought so many other perfume before this when i started my perfume journey. Then i bought it, loved it and started to look for something else. But everytime i go back to this one. This one is absolutely beautiful and intoxicating

My all-time favorite perfume. I’ve never received as many compliments on any other fragrance as I have with Prada Paradoxe Intense. Even my partner says it’s his favorite on me from my entire collection. It’s a beautiful, bold, sweet yet earthy scent that truly wraps around you. The combination of pear, vanilla, and moss is just perfect. It has incredible longevity and amazing projection.

The best fragrance to ever grace my nose. It does everything correctly, from the blend, the longevity, the projection. Yes, it's mass appealing, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's lovely notes done well. This is a date night perfume. This is a wedding perfume. This is a cozy, reading a book by the window while it rains perfume. It's unapologetically feminine.

Floral vanilla with fruitiness. What's not too like? Love it, already has become my staple perfume! Lasts 6 hours on me. An easy compliment getter! Looking forward to buying the refill! Repurchase worthy! I sometimes pair it with lattafa eclaire! Absolutely smells divine. I would probably try it with some other vanilla 28 next time, to add a bit more depth!

I surprisingly ended up liking this a lot. It's still pretty much close to prada paradoxe, one of my absolute favorites, that personally you don't really need both in your collection. Also, I was really skeptical about that moss note but I can see how it adds that depth which makes this "intense"

i don't have a whole bottle yet but every time i try it at the store i keep falling in love with it (even though it pretty much basic and loud but i fancy scents like this a lot if it mixed with mind!) definitely not a blind buy, but its beautiful and definitely for sweet & fruity perfume lovers

I really love this but oddly it smells like Bath & Body Works Perfect in Pink on me? The notes for that spray are cherry, camellia, almond, and whipped cream so there aren't even identical notes. It's very strange but not a bad thing, it just pulls very floral gourmand on me.

Warm, spicy floral with vanilla undertones; sensual, comforting, easy to love. It took just one sniff to understand why this fragrance is so popular. This scent is an embrace, a kiss, a parting memory. Sexy and addicting. Best suited for colder weather; lingers for hours.

Buy it. Right now. Don’t listen to influencers who call you basic for loving the Paradoxe line. Paradoxe Intense is... *chef’s kiss*. My teenage daughter who only wears Sol de whatever body sprays steals this from me all the time. And I’m fine with it! It is GORGEOUS!

Very strong- for me it’s a neroli dominant, white flowers and oak moss. I get very little sweetness from vanilla and amber. Exceptional longevity and silage. I like it a lot but it’s not as versatile as Paradoxe OG, and hence I don’t reach for it that often.

One of my favorite fragrances. Sexy, powerful, confident, long-lasting. It has something from the OG, but it’s much more striking, with a stronger dose of neroli, more mature and more provocative. I love the moss in it. It will always be in my collection!

I love the original Prada Paradox, and I like this one as well. I got this because it was supposed to be sweeter and more vanilla, but to me, it is just heavier, earthier, and a little more mature. It almost has like a vanilla incense vibe.

This is amazing! Longevity is also great, I sprayed it yesterday just once in the late afternoon and I can still smell it the morning after. It turned into a very soft vanilla. Wish I bought a bigger bottle, will be wearing this a lot.

Have it, love it but overpriced i think (in my country maybe). It’s so comforting so feminine so sweet amber, white flower, vanilla scent. I think suitable for many people and all seasons expect hot summer days.

Intenso, trasmite mucha clase. Muy original. Al principio, cuando lo coloqué en la piel no me agradó demasiado, una vez asentado, 15-20 minutos más tarde, es cuando se desplegó todo su potencial y me enamoró.

It is floral in the beginning but as it blends into skin it turns out warm and sweet but not in a girly way more mature than that. It is the perfect “woman” scent. You can clearly catch the amber.

An intoxicating spicy floral with vanilla and pear nuances. Love it! It lasts forever on me and the drydown reminds me a LOT of idole now by lancome which i also have and really really like.

Oh my. Just tested the original. Loved it. Both were on sale so decided to go for intense. She's beautiful. Fresh floral. Definitely a favourite and will purchase bigger bottle.

Smells very yummy and “pink” in an abstract way if that makes sense, girly college-age perfume for partying and date night. It’s modern and mass-appealing yet very confident.

I absolutely adore the original Paradoxe and the radical is interesting but this one is just weird. It just smells funky, like sweaty socks funky. It's not very nice.

I own the OG, Virtual Flower and tested this and Goddess Parfum on my skin, I am more inclined to this. Am thinking should I get this or Radical Essence?

My first designer perfume. I got quite a lot of compliments on it. Nice white flower perfume that has a good projection and long-lasting.
