Oud Symphony

@SwavScent12 to ppl who read his comment this is not just straight oud and its very fruity in the best way possible imo. Maybe with your skin chemistry but on my skin it's a very sexy fruity scent that has durability, it has the thickness similar to erba pura, for a lack of better term and isn't completely fresh. Oud here is very tolerable for me as I'm, imo still new with oud as I've own a few fragrances with oud and this isn't stinky animalic oud that most individuals hate. This is woody, slightly spicy, bit creamy & orienral, very sweet/fruity type of fragrance but not overly, sickly, sweet. For me, I'm a sucker for fruity, woody type of fragrances so this is love at first sniff all thx to there sample set which I got both their male and female sample set. This imo the best in terms of scent profile and performance. I have been getting wiffs from it non stop from just a few sprays or squirts (I should say bc they're sample atomizer don't spray too well) on my inner elbow. This is miles better than salt n pepper, blue agave and even blue turquoise which (reminds me of erba pura) I do 2nd out of the 4 of those I've tried rn.

Got this as a sample vial and whoa Nelly, this is a good one. Decisively unisex, with a fruity playful fem opening, to the woodier unisex, just slightly masculine drydown. The notes read black currant and passion fruit, but i comes across as a very nice generally fruity candy note. Very playful, somewhat feminine and youthful. And as the candy fruit notes fade, the woodier aspects that supported the fruit come out, that’s when this takes a slightly more mature turn for this fragrance. This is a crowd pleaser for sure. Not sure on longevity, gotta put it to the after shower sleep test. Somewhat overpriced, but I will say this: Richard herpin is great at blending his raw materials, nothing ever comes out as too loud, with the exception of ambroxan in his blue scents.

This is an awesome VERY high quality fruity pud fragrance I really on get 4 notes from this. Passion fruit being the strongest out of all of them. It’s almost a photo realistic jug of minute maid fruit juice with a sweet smelling oud back with a tiny bit of rose (like 5-10%) and patchouli The patchouli comes off more minty than earthy which I enjoy more. Adds a cooling effect to everything 11/10 frag with 11h+ longevity and STUPID spillage for like 2.5 hours straight, then from 3-8 hours I’ll say it’s a nice arm length maybe a little more and hour 9 and up you can still get whafs of it but my wife said she couldn’t smell it until I came into her personal space (about a forearm length)

I love this one, it’s sweet and fruity with a nice amount of depth and complexity to it, I’m not generally a huge fan of oud, but the oud in this one is done really well and it doesn’t bother me at all. I see this one as being more of a colder weather fragrance, like 75f and below but since I haven’t actually tried it in hot weather I can’t say for sure. Extremely long lasting, and it also projects well. It’s also pretty crowd pleasing while still being fairly unique. This is one of the few niche fragrances I have tried/own that I would actually be willing to pay full price for if I weren’t able to find a deal on it.

I am going to update this review in the future. When I experienced this scent on air I thought of it as pretty but quite dense. Yesterday, I wore it for the first time. On my skin I appreciate a very beautiful and well blended passion fruit. The rum, woods and incense surround the fruit notes without a hint of harshness. The performance was outstanding. I was surprised by the number of compliments I received, including from a couple that is a fenomenal collector and perfume connoisseur. I will let it mature. Again, on my skin this perfume performed beautifully.

I really enjoy this scent, and I don't get tired of it at all. It's a fruity oud that is enjoyable to everyone I know that has smelled it. When I found out that Richard Herpin also created Tom Ford's Oud Wood, it all made since. That same light, woody oud can be found here - just surrounded by yummy fruits. This and Tobacco Royal are best of the house, in my opinion! I don't know why Tobacco Royal isn't listed here. It's also a phenomenal fragrance. As a matter of fact, it's my favorite tobacco fragrance, and I have many. Both are must haves for any collection.

One of the most beautiful scents I've ever experienced. It's an amazing mix of sweet fruits that blend seamlessly and perfectly with the oud. I expected nothing less from the guy that created Tom Ford's Oud Wood. The performance is amazing with a beautiful sillage but it leans way too feminine for me or most men to be honest. Bought it for my girlfriend so now I get to enjoy it often without wearing it myself!

A very nice passion fruit and rum oud scent. It's not loud but it projects. A nice oud scent that's not animalic on my skin at all. Does lean a bit feminine in the opening but that doesn't last. The dry down is where the magic happens, compliments will come for sure. Lasts all day 8 plus hrs. Now Fragrantica please add Royal Tobacco and Sweet Tonka from them.

Dark tart and fruity, with a touch of pissy cassis. Lightly sweet. An undertone of smoky oud. Unisex, with the slightest lean into the feminine. I got 5 hrs of decent projection.

This is really beautiful! Very classy and enigmatic. Definitely for a night out when you want to be perceived as sexy.

First of all, I want to say I got this as a paper strip sample with a purchase, so my impressions won't give an accurate representation of how this smells on skin, or how the scent evolves, etc. I also want to say that my reaction to this is nostalgia related, so there's an emotional component here. But this smells EXACTLY like the Sanrio Surprises store I used to visit at the mall when I was a kid in the 90s. I don't know if all Sanrio Surprises stores smelled like this, like if it was an air freshener they used, or if they may have all had this particular blend of plastic, artificial fruit, pencils and candy smell in the air. Just smelling this makes me really, really happy, and I'm hoping to get a liquid sample to see if it wears the same way on skin.

Updating from my earlier review, where I was mailed a paper strip sample of this. I now have a spray sample and have been able to test this on my skin. Still smells like a Sanrio Surprises store at the mall in the 90s, if Sanrio also sold oud next to Hello Kitty memo pads and plastic pencils. Personally I think they went too heavy on the oud. I think the oud note does actually compliment the others, but the way it’s blended doesn’t feel balanced. I actually preferred this on paper, when the oud lent just enough woodiness to make me think of cute pencils mixed in with the candy and plastic, just like you’d get in a super kawaii stationery store like Sanrio. I still really like this, but again, nostalgia is a huge factor for me here.

Upon the opening, you get a ridiculously mouth watering passionfruit & it instantly brings a smile to your face. The oud here is not dirty at all and is kind of reminiscent of a sweeter passionfruit based God of Fire. Very pleasant but the more you experience it, the more tiresome it gets because it ends up overly sweet akin to pouring fruit juice all over your head. I wouldn't want to wear this as it becomes too much but I would love to smell it on someone passing by!

Ok, so I detest oud. There is only two fragrances with our that I like...Oud Satin Mood and Delina Exclusif (actually a love, not a like). I received a sample of Oid Symphony and I dare I say that I kind of like this. I get something milky here too. Milky, sweet, tropical fruit salad with a very tolerable oud. It's still very oud forward and I could not see myself wearing this but it's a really well done fruity oud fragrance that leans very feminine.

It rides in the same lane as Argos Adonis Awakens. There are differences where Symphony is a little boozy, and slightly oudy. With its sweetness coming more from the passionfruit. and Adonis is little more about the jammy rose and raspberry sweetness. The big difference is price. (when in stock at discounters) you can get a 100ml of Adonis for 147. For a 75ml of Symphony its 275.

this is so delightful and fruity to wear on a cold night, not really spicy. wear to friendsgiving with the besties and got compliments

The third fragrance I’ve tried from this house. I smelled Salt and Pepper... liked it, but when I saw the price I thought “Go f**k yourself.” Blue Agave straight up pissed me off. I went into this one pleading for it to be good or decent at best... and decent it is. Out of the 3 I’ve tried, I don’t hate it. If you’re down to dish out $275 USD (as of this review) at least this one’s unique enough but for me... nah. It gets an Eh. If you like it you like it.

To me, this smells 80% like straight up oud and 20% like the other notes. Not very well blended and not very complex at all. I wore it two days in a row and felt the same way both days. I'm going to revisit this in about a month to see if perhaps I just got a very, very fresh batch that still needs time to macerate. Will update my review in a few weeks and am keeping it neutral because I want to reserve my judgments until later.

Nice Passionfruit accord on top of a transparent, light & modern Rose perfume not too far from, let's say MFK A la Rose. A few minutes from spraying and I started to perceive the scent as a bit unsubstantial as it belonged more in the Zara/Joe Malone category rather than an (quite) expensive niche. Almost undetectable Oud note or accord. 5,5/10 Pd.: please add Tobacco Royale to the database!

Definitely not unisex, quite feminine leaning. Go light on the sprays at first: I tried 3 sprays and my family started making choking noises almost immediately! Very fruity and floral. I do detect oud/woods in here but they sit in the back of the nose and stay out of the way of the main characters.

Got a sample pack for some of the hyped options and while I'm no expert and my nose is simple, but this reminds me of a couple of different Montale offerings. It is nice but, I feel like there's other more affordable options of this style/dna out there.

I tried this a few times this summer and liked it a lot. I revisited this the other day, and it was unbearable. It smelled like a chemical fabric softener in the worst way. The dry-down was the worst part. I could still smell it the next day on my clothes, and it made me nauseous. I am a fan of the house and own salt and pepper and may purchase Aqua Oud, but this one is a scrubber. Overall, I would say if you are interested, sample first and proceed with caution. Im so surprised I did a total 180 on this. It rarely happens after I enjoy the first few wears. I almost pulled the trigger on a bottle this summer that was heavily discounted. I dragged and had it in my cart and it sold out. I guess I got lucky. Yuk..

There is nothing of real interest. Like many other Precious Liquid perfumes it does what it says on the bottle. But there is nothing precious about it for me, I find it very mediocre. I think the house got well known and liked because their samples are easy to get and they give freebies to influencers.

Only really get oud, patchouli and some light florals from this and the oud is very medicinal, not woody at all. For the price of this I cannot recommend it. Not a safe blind buy, definitely sample first.

Ok, I'm female and I can attest that I find this line rather sexy. Not gonna lie. Salt & Pepper is a sexy, spicy fresh cologne. Amber Suede is a very smooth leather scent and my favorite, Tobacco Royal is the best tobacco scent I've ever smelled. I do not like tobacco in perfumes and that one blows every other tobacco scent out of the water. Forget Tobacco Vanille, try Tobacco Royal. So, so smooth, sweet, and absolutely perfect. I was sent a 7.5 or Salt & Pepper as well as a 7.5 of the new Sangria Oak. Holy smoke, that one is good. It's boozy, fruity, and woody. To me, these are all masculine and I'm not sure why Max Aroma keeps sending them to me, considering I'm ordering very feminine fragrances, but I'll probably end up wearing Sangria Oak because it's so freaking good, and on a man, damn, you're gonna smell damn good for summer. I never really have an opinion on male fragrances, but I figured I'd put in my two-sense since Max Aroma apparently wants me to review this line because this is the 3rd time they've sent me Precious Liquids samples. Forget Lamar by Kajal, check out Sangria Oak. This line doesn't smell cheap, I mean, it smells like they put real perfume oil in these and like they're not full of synthetics so remember, you get what you pay for (except with middle eastern fragrances, not sure how they do it). Yes, they're pricey, but still less than Tom Ford, Creed, and Amouage. Ok, Sangria Oak is reminding me of Lataffa's Honor & Glory which is an amazing unisex fragrance that I own, which leans masculine, but I still own it and wear it because it's the best pineapple scent I've smelled.

Funny story: I'm testing out the sample set of precious liquid and wore Oud Symphony the other day - just one spray on my chest. My husband and I took our dog for a walk and the wind was blowing behind my back for a moment. My husband said, "oh, something smells good." I immediately replied, "it's me." knowing full well he'd been directly downwind of my sillage. He thought it was food being prepared, grilling, or a bonfire (smells he likes). I let it go and didn't push the matter, but I am 99.9% sure it was Oud Symphony. This scent is something else! It is sexy, appealing, confident. You have to own this scent when you wear it. The passionfruit and oud play together along with all the other notes. I'm wearing it now, and it is almost summer. I think it's a 4 season scent. This guy knows what he's doing. All Precious Liquid frags smell incredibly natural and pure to me. I tend to get very annoyed at synthetic smelling fragrances. These all just rub me the right way. They are addictive and a wonderful experience to wear.

This has nothing in similarity to oud maracuja, whereas maracuja starts with an intense fruity(litchi/raspberry/passionfruit) accord, this is flowery like jasmine/white flowers, you could say this has a bit old lady like scent but this is different, mysterious, light and wearable at the same time. No jammy rose or anything. Leans feminine but I love it. Running on samples too expensive at 275, around 200 competitive.

I want to like this so badly, the opening is so gorgeous and juicy and interesting to me. But then you get a little close and there's something weird in there, it's almost like there's a very weird "aftertaste" of what I think is the oud left in your nostril. Maybe it's the way it's blending with the jasmine off my skin, but this isn't one for me despite most the notes calling to me in some way or another.

Such a great scent. I knew I had to buy it the moment I sniffed it at my local perfume shop. It's the perfect balance of light and fruity with dark oud undertones. Sometimes i get a little whiff of something medicinal (can't quite put my finger on it) but it doesn't bother me at all. I love wearing this one. (sometimes I even layer with God of Fire for an extra tropical and summery scent...10/10).

Plastic, light fruit and synthetic oud. Not loving this. Ends in screamwood, and won’t scrub. Nope.

I’m not getting any fruit or rum. Just oud/wood and florals. Has a potpourri type smell. No bueno.
