Orange Calabria

Mmmm, I can never resist a good, straightforward orange scent, and this one is really great: simple, bright, zesty, pure bitter orange, with just enough supporting notes to make it into a perfume instead of just a realistic aroma. Think Orange Sanguine but with bitter orange instead of blood oranges: this one's a little less sweet and mellow, and even more simple, but just as delicious in that same sparkling, wonderfully happy summer way. A real moodlifter! It doesn't last long, of course, and like with almost any citrus scent the magic is in the opening anyway. And I'd imagine you'd get tired of it pretty quickly if you're a one perfume kind of person. But I don't have that problem, and I want a big decant of it anyway, however many (decants of) orange scents I already have in my collection: you can never have too many, if they put such a smile on your face.

Simple, inoffensive and high quality. Solid perfume and my favorite orange so far. Amazing solo and layered. If you can get it cheaper do not hesitate. I got mine for a steal. I sampled almost whole line and there are few gems there.

This opens up smelling just like a fresh juicy orange that has just been cut into-it's very realistic smelling. It's juicy, slight sweet, a bit tart, and slightly bitter--like the entire orange including the rind. Sadly, after the opening I get a stinky, animalic jasmine, which ruins this fragrance for me.

I really didn't like this, thankfully it faded to almost nothing in 15 minutes. It is so fake-orange-smelling in the opening - it smells like an orange car freshener or something along those lines. Definitely passing this sample on to someone else. I do normally really like citrus scents but this one killed me.
