Rose Sheherazade

This smells like a buttery caramelized vanilla with a rosewater. It’s almost like a baked good or some type of custard. It’s a really smooth and creamy gourmand and not overly sweet! I have to say it is different from other rose gourmands I’ve tried and quite addictive. It almost reminds me of Delina Exclusif (which I love) but that fragrance is much brighter and not quite as sweet as this one. On the other hand I find Parfait de Roses by Lancôme is much more syrupy-sweet and boozy. I much prefer this. I think I’ll pick up a full bottle!

This smells amazing! Rich sweet candy-like rose that warms up to the skin : it just reacts on skin in an insanely good way! Super classy, reminiscent of Lancôme sweet scents like Parfait de roses, and also if you like the sweet rose of Oud bouquet, you will like this rose. One of the best blind buys I've ever done !

Delicious rose and vanilla fragrance. Yum!

Upon first spray, strong notes of rose hit my nose. But after a couple of minutes, it blended beautifully with my skin, bringing a fresh citrus note that I wasn't expecting. Rose remains present in the background, but evolves into a more complex floral. A couple of hours into it and a scent of vanilla appears, bringing some sweetness to the whole concoction (made me think of rose water drinks). A woody note also becomes more prominent, bringing much needed balance (so the blend does not become overpoweringly floral sweet).

Something between jammy rose and rose sweets. Yet, there’s something about its quality that keeps it safely away from fashionable trends. It’s a pretty good (as they say) composition and a pretty decent performance. More suitable for autumn and winter, but even now in spring the rose note kinda sings.

Smells exactly like Roses Vanille, Intense Cafe, Rose Gourmand and reminds a lot of Gentle Fluidity. Very sweet, vanillic tonka rose with powdery, musky tone.

The rose note is lovely and fresh, but I find the vanilla to be entirely overbearing. Not a favorite for me. It is a very happy fragrance, but a little cloying in my opinion. Edit: Within a month of having this perfume, I grew to absolutely adore it! It’s right up there with Rose Magnetic, which is more citrusy, but still vanilla and rose. I don’t find the vanilla to be overbearing anymore, it’s a beautifully blended fragrance, especially if you like simple, vintage style rose perfumes as much as I do!
