P.S... Love Noir

A very affordable dupe for La Vie Est Belle! Perfect for every day when you dont want to use the real thing. Delicious and very strong and long lasting. Total bargain, and hard to tell apart from the real thing, at least i cant tell the difference!!

It's such a shame this was discontinued as it's an amazing fragrance! Not just for the for the £3 Price, I'd spend £20 on a bottle. I need to try LVEB now!

£3 dupe for LVEB - would get this again but ive got red vanilla from zara which is also a dupe and i feel lasts a little bit long but LOVE LOVE LOVE

Lovely fragrance sweet but not too much, stays on for hours! Best purchase ever considering the price! Stocking up for sure! :)

I tried Love Noir as I really enjoy LVEB, but the speed with which I went through two bottles meant that it was time to look for a cheaper 'everyday' version, so that my third bottle can be used more sparingly. I was shocked by how similar I find it to be, when it is such a low price; the iris in LVEB isn't recreated here and the lasting power isn't as good, but it is still a very close interpretation and has pretty good longevity [six hours]. There is soft vanilla present throughout Love Noir, which adds a creamy sweetness and warmth to the fragrance and there is also some patchouli is also quick to develop, so whilst everything is sweet, it's not cloyingly so. The floral notes used are powdery and rather indistinct, so they just provide a background for the sweetness and warmth. After another few hours the fragrance turns slightly nutty and even creamier as what I think is Tonka bean and maybe some caramel develop - the combined powderiness of the floral notes remain and softly fade away with the base notes.

This is yet another la vie est belle dupe, but a very good one!

I love LVEB, so bought a bottle of PS Love Noir today based partly on reviews. Oh boy, am I disappointed!! To me, this smells nothing like LVEB. All I'm getting from it is something blandly sweet that lies somewhere on a scale that includes fresh sardine, stale blackcurrant, cat wee, and bicycle tyre. It's truly unpleasant! I have other Primark perfumes that I can more than sing the praises of, particularly Polka which can outstrip many an expensive perfume, but PS Love Noir has lasted less than half an hour on me and hasn't changed at all from its initial spray. I'm obviously missing what everyone else is getting. (I also bought PS Love... At First Sight, which is gorgeous. I can't find it listed anywhere, so assume that it's new). As far as dupes go, I think I'll stick to Milton Lloyd's I Am I Feel, which I find smells very like LVEB and lasts for ages.

I have LVEB on a wrist and Love Noir on the other, I think the similar notes are the fruity one where Love Noir is missing that deep vanilla praline/ chocolate smell. Also while with LVEB you can smell a mixture of fruity with deeper notes, with Love Noir theres a strong smell of something, not sure what, that takes over the fruit notes. The dry down of Love Noir resembles LVEB a lot better. I would still purchase LVEB as it just smells fancier and has more finesse, but Love Noir is not a bad smell, and for 5 euros, it more lasting than any Marc Jacobs perfume I've owned before.

I personally dont have LVEB nor do I wish to get one so I can't compare. But this perfume is a love at first sniff. It smells more expensive than what I paid for it, and it lasts a decent amount of time. Smells like sweet plastic-y doll's head type fragrance to me but in an elegant way. I have 3 more bottles as backups because this always runs out in my local primark.

Sweet and fruity, a pretty simple scent that doesn’t develop much over time or have much interest. It smells more expensive than it is though; there is no pungent alcohol tinge like so many budget fragrances have. It is super cheap and great for an inoffensive everyday office type scent.

so fresh , so affordable , and you can wear it all day long and no one gets offended by it ! definitely a bargain from primark you`ll love it , specially it`s a great dupe from la vie est belle

it's a very good dupe for LVEB but it lacks the deepness of it. but for the price... it has a very good performance and it projects very well.
