O, Anatolia Anatolia! You deserve all the A's: absolutely amazing, astonishing, adorable ambered ambrosia ambiance that you are. As someone who loved Turkish Leather, the OG, and admired Anatolia, the daddy, this Mk 3 retooling of the central idea from Prin has effectively perfected the formula. Not just because of the super-duper strength of the doubled oud and insanely robust performance of its extra-extrait concentration, but because - despite that whhhomp of heavy business when first sprayed - it is paradoxically goes a little more restrained on the icing-sugar-dusted sweetness, and so develops a little (just a very little) more discreetly as a wear. Despite lasting nearly forever (it will last for WEEKS on organic-fibre clothes, trust me), this one doesn't give me the occasional headache that Anatolia 1 can induce. The oud is solidly, robustly present but not half as sourly reeky or nearly-cheesy as it can be in other Prin concoctions; here, it's bizarrely almost ... mellow? Same goes for the suede, which seems a little more tamed and less raw. Possibly the cinnamon and honey are smoothing things out a bit compared to the other edits. Best of all, the slight tang of apple brings something more rounded and even (whisper it) like a tiny wisp of light and fresh air into the generally overwhelmingly charismatic smellscape fug - evoking a great almost-memory of Manle's Suleymane le Magnifique, never a bad association to bring. It's still redolent of Turkish delight and rich, dark cocoa, yet in a magical rather than sickly way. (Whenever I catch a drift of it, no matter how adult and almost X-rated it is, I CANNOT ESCAPE the sense associations, laid down by reading in childhood, with CS Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe). Goes without saying that you should spray lightly, and to me its bludgeoning force means it is only really appropriate as scented armour for cold, cold days; this is gaudy, tinselly, sequined, gilded, over-the-top magic for dark winters when something baroquely indulgent is needed, and could very easily tip over into the land of Far Too Much in other conditions. Worth every penny, but its absolutely agonising RRP means I wavered for a long, long time before pressing the 'overpriced' button on here (and still with some guilt, because if you have the means, the artistry and the ingredients here probably do absolutely justify the cost). It is the house's biggest hit for a reason, because it smells like nothing else, and walks the tightrope between gourmand extravagance and hardcore oud funk with impeccable balance. An utterly extraordinary pleasure.

After revisting 'Onekh' by Bvlgari again, I recalled that this one had a very similar leather/oud that went in a gourmand direction. Trying out my sample of Prin's 'Anatolia Anatolia' once more, I am kicking myself already for not grabbing this from Bloom perfumery whilst it was still in stock. I forgot how mind-bendingly amazing this one was and what a trip it sends you on. I NEED to get a full bottle of this ASAP. It opens with a super charged blast of strong Oud from both the Indian and Cambodian oud used in the compositon. All rubber tyres screeching, marking an asphalt road in the blazing, hot summer sun. There is brand new leather interiors in a shiny obsidian car (complete with a candy flip paint job that resembles oil on water, or an iridescent insects shell, in the shifting light). This is like black gold... like its been freshly pumped straight out of the ground to create a fountain of crude oil and honey, showering down on a warm leathered upholstered table of sweet apples, dried sticky dates, spices acquired from a souk, and chewy, sugary lokum. The total effect and the sum of all these parts makes for the most decadent and intensely mesmerising fragrance. This perfume is intense in it's strength, like a fire one must not get too close to, despite the beauty of the glowing coals and roaring flames. Like the myth of icharus and the sun, you can't get too close...or everything burns your nose and comes falling down. However, from a distance this is majestically beautiful, with its scent soaring upwards to create that O so sweet huge sillage, which leaves a scent trail to get noticed by any nose around. I've had this sample stop so many people in their tracks to ask what is that amazing smell.... and even myself, catching a sniff off of my wrists moving, I am stunned still for a moment to pay attention only to it. Again, why O why didn't I buy this earlier? It is truly a master piece that makes me want to cry its so good. Just the most perfect harmonious interplay of two different ouds (leather and sweet) and something that's so unique and interesting with the sticky sweet gourmand parts along with those darker, drier, and more leather expressions. It all blends together in the best way and it lasts forever. On fabric, I recall when I first ever tried this, I had gotten some on a silk hair band. I could still detect 'Anatolia Anatolia' on this fabric for a whole month, until I washed it. This is straight to the top 5 in my wants list. Dammit. This is one of the fragrances that I recently sampled out of however many decants that I got of Prin, all of them are fantastic. I knew I was going to buy this one on the second sniff, and I bet that I did before I got to sniff number 20. I hate dickwads like Prin that make amazing perfumes that I need to own. Now I am going to buy all of his dumb shit too, just like that Dmitry Bortnikoff guy and all the amazing shit that he makes. That Bortnikoff asshole almost bankrupted me. This is the dumbest hobby I ever could have discovered. I am cursed until the day that I die. Fuck, why can't they just go and do something else for a little bit so my finances can catch up since I need to own every fragrance they put out? Maybe they could learn a new sport or something? I don't know, just throwing out suggestions. I will be homeless, but at least I will smell great under all of them newspapers I use to keep me warm. Fuck you, Prin. [edit] I just remembered there aren't many places to get newspapers anymore, so I guess I would just huddle in the various cardboard boxes that I find while I push my cart of fragrances around.

Sweet, "clean" oud and leather, one of the better iterations of that combo (of what I've smelled so far). Everything is seamlessly blended; you get oud, leather, suede, spices, dates, and honey in one sniff. Sweetness here is well-restrained, more like a drizzling of honey and a light dusting of powdered sugar. Lokum note is more apparent to me in the drydown. I'll say, if you already have an oud-leather fragrance, it might be redundant to get this one as well. But if you don't, I do suggest picking this one.

Another masterwork from Prin Lomros The original Turkish leather/Anatolia was always too sweet for my taste. This gem, from my nose, was the more balanced version with a super potent juice. Non-skanky, non barnyard-y oud is more prominent than the original, and the sweet-y Loukhom and dates relatively tone down. The spicy incense-cumin complex also makes every so round and very smooth. Despite the high price tag, FBW for sure!!

Probably the best leather scent I've ever smelled. It's a leather jacket with some sweetness and depth from the notes listed. Having the apple note in here is genius! Very strong scent overall. I don't know if I would ever wear it personally so I ended up not purchasing a bottle myself, but it could be a fantastic gift for someone that can pull it off.

The absolutely stunning perfume that I've ever tried. Don't know anything similar. Natural barnyard oud in the right appropriate quantity to feel its nature but without being disgusting. Blended so well together with Turkish Rahat loukhoum and dates so I just cannot stop smelling it. Lasts all day with a really strong projection.

this is amazing. addictive. strong. weird but smooth. harsh but rounded. i cannot describe it in any other ways. it feels contradictory but compelling. one little spray from the sample lasts for hours and hours. edit: 30ml will last you a few centuries. it is the strongest fragrance i have tried.

Beautiful, peculiar perfume which constantly shapeshifts on the skin and lasts for hours. I may have discovered this a little late in the year, but I'll still buy myself a bottle for the good old shapeshifting English weather.

Outstanding. I wasn't aware Anatolia needed to be (or could be) improved, but he pulled it off. Feels like the 4k Criterion restoration to the original's VHS. Wish it were cheaper, but no complaints otherwise.

Thoughts on a sampling... * Had to try it out several times * Really nice oud play here * (loukhoum) + (honey) = sweetness * It is strong + cloying = too sweet * Like force feeding a diabetic a candy cane * Hate to know what the original was like * But it's definitely not feminine * The ouds are very very very nice **Final thoughts. This is truly Turkish Delight *** Finally ordered a bottle. I love this stuff. It it extremely potent. At times the sweetness can get old after 7 + hours of summer wear. This is probably going to be fantastic in cooler weather.

Anatolia (previously called Turkish Leather) is one of Prin Lomros’s most popular perfumes - a sweet and spicy combination of fruit notes, dates, incense, cumin, honey and leather. To this mix he now adds a generous dose of Thai Oud. The results are quite striking. The resulting juice has a delightful well roundedness to it. The masculine leaning scent has moderate to strong projection and good longevity. Absolutely needed for fans of Turkish Leather, and recommended if you like spicy sweet woody scents. Enjoy!

It's so balanced and inoffensive that it didn't make much of an impression for the first couple of hours (especially compared to other oud fragrances); however, it's very wearable and comforting, especially the LONG drydown (due to the extraordinary concentration) where the oud really shines—For the last reason alone, it might be a worthy investment in a market saturated with gimmicks!

Starts off smelling like fresh tires then turns sweet within 2 minutes while keeping the fresh tires smell in the background. The scent is a 7/10 and this is not a fragrance that I would recommend checking out.

Anatolia Anatolia's lurid opening of boozy, funky sweetness, which is not unlike a yummy rag wiped across a car's leather interior, eventually transforms to unyielding sweetness. Think candy and sugar, thick syrups and amber more so than dates and apples but only for so long before the potency of this perfume reveals its other facet, one that's even stronger and more repulsive to me: suede. Something about the buzzing, pseudo-leather chemicals of Anatolia Anatolia's suede rubs me the wrong way. It feels crass or at the very least bombastic, too emphatic in its crowd-pleasing qualities. Given my love for Prin, that's a shame, since the deepest inhalations of this tour de force still reveal cheesy ouds and dusty cacao underneath. I gifted my decant to my girlfriend and Anatolia x2 either smells remarkably better on her skin or the secret (duh) to Prin's perfume that's been exponentiated to the second power is that you have to smell this Turkish leather from afar, in fact, from so far that you can only pine for what's afar and let it lure you in with its distant promises... What those promises are depends, well, on how much you know about such olfactive mysteries. For those, like my girlfriend's therapist, who complimented—I guess—my girlfriend by saying she smelled like "delicious, candied bacon" or my girlfriend's classmate, who said she smelled like a "charcuterie board," the odd delights of Prin Lomros' artistry have yet to be communicated, even if they've been shared.

Smells pretty good, but too harsh and somewhat medicinal on my skin. I could see how it would be appealing to many. 6/10

Full disclosure here...Anatolia, also formerly known as Turkish Leather, is one of my all-time favorites that I firmly believe couldn’t possibly be outdone... ...I was wrong. This version has just bested my beloved child...my favorite son...my go-to selection for fall and winter time. Comes with 49% concentration and 2% Oud oil, Anatolian Anatolia, the doppio alteration of the original, is just magnificent. The optimal balance between Thai Oud oil from the city of Trad and Indian Oud oil from Assam gives you the perfect equilibrium of a dry & sacred woody scent and a slight touch of barnyard profile, combined with hay and chocolaty elements. It’s just so good...words cannot comprehend how impressed I was when I first sniffed this. To be clear, this is the facet you would definitely notice if you paid attention to details in the original...but it is now substantially more amplified to help round the scent and leave no edges to the overall scent journey. It is incredibly seamless. So smooth. So gentle. earthpp49 was right to point out this is clearly not as sweet compared to the original (and I don’t have a problem with that myself) and it helps give a more diverse use cases for this masterpiece. It’s still a sultan of winter time but you can pull this in spring to make a statement and not being overly offensive, IMHO. It contains all other elements we all know and love about Anatolia/Turkish Leather but Prin has just done what was deemed impossible by me; he improved on something already perfect. If you are fond of a gourmand leather with a strong Eurasian heart, with spices and woods being it’s arms and legs...you would absolutely fall in love with this. Lasts forever on my skin, let alone on clothes... All style. All substance. 100/10 for Prin Lomros.

It's like the best from Indian oud without fecal qualities, just right amount of soft barn. The suede/leather quality of it contemplates really well with more added leather and suede. On the other hand, sweet Thai oud contemplates really well with honey and dates. It's wrapped in this loukhoum/cacao/amber layer. The final result is an ancient mature leather smell. I mean a big piece of full-grain leather blanket with all imperfections included, which are somehow smoothed out over a long time period because of the external environment of dust, sand, wind and smoke. This leather blanket is used to cover a little wooden shop overnight, where during the day the loukhom is sold by the old grey-haired guy. You prefer to buy a loukhom from this guy, because it somehow taste better than other shops, because it has this kind of aroma of its own surroundings. Of course, you couldnt forget the good old friend of the shop owner who helped move the shop from place to place. If it is a camel, horse or just a donkey, i don't know. But I wish them both good luck. We will all be one day old like them and if we mature the same way.... Now i understand what lot of perfumes were trying to do, this is the version which i prefer more, not so sweet, not so spicey, everything balanced to perfection. When im applying it from long distance i get more oud and leather, loukhoum nuances and when im oversprayed it i get more honey and incense side, then its more fresh spicey. Probably lot of people around me will not understand it and like it. Will say on skin its sometimes too strong, but love how it keeps nice trail on clothing. The best part of it its dry down, it will keep you nice subtle oud animalic scent on skin even more than 24h after application.

My review is a thumbs 👍🏽. The opening here I notice the oud on skin. Peculiar because it was funky but juicy like boozy-alkaline apple/copper taste I.e. smell my finger heh i say that for lack of couth in necessity. I get the same vibe although more romanticized in Xerjoffs via Cavour I. Anyways this association doesn’t fly off into the air and exits completely after 30min. For me this is where the suede and cacao take arms like 2 eagles soaring in a mating ritual- it’s majestic. I had a headache when I decided to spray this sample on and drive into town for some baskin robbins and fast forward 5 hours I’m 4 hours past my bedtime due to this mesmeric scent cloud. I really get that loukum imagery and the cacao garnishes the suede at best. Choco lovers, to my understanding, are very hardcore about their choice chocolate fragrance and this isn’t a Willy Wonka factory BUT if you want the texture of cacao powder getting spanked off a suede tophat then here is a real ticket for you. Frags my nose draws on when coming away from this: Ormaie Livree Bleu, Xerjoff Allende, Xerjoff Via Cavour I, Min Ny Coda. Personally speaking I’d love to see myself own a bottle of this and have a Monday night ritual drive to refresh some main character purpose into the week, but I own Livree Bleu and others so the timing has escaped me I’m afraid. If this is your first few acquisitions into the foray of fragrance then I admire the path you’ve taken, it’s a rewarding one I’m certain ;).

Anatolia Anatolia is a perfume 'Oud Gourmand Leather Sweet Animalic Spicy Smoky Unisex. It opens with a hot and spicy animalic punch to burn the nose by the combination of the 'oud indian with cumin. Soon is served a jam of dates with honey sprinkled with cinnamon and apple creating a delicious chord of the Turkish delight 'Rahat Loukoum' sweetening and softening just a little this facet animalica. Fragrance evolves after about 45 minutes with the arrival of a half-latex half-vinyl leather reinforces the animalic characteristic of the fragrance, This leather is soon wrapped in a breath of light but delicious powdery chocolate bringing the vibration of a soft suede. In a few brief moments it refers to the Fetish of Roja. But here is the gourmet nunce that makes all the difference. With the arrival of more 'oud the Thai that always carries mild characteristics: fruity sweet woody...and the earthy patchouli adding a little dirt to the composition. A discreet incense gives a subtle but present smoky touch. Anatolia Anatolia is the successor of Anatolia with twice the concentration of essential oils and a load of 'oud also doubled in relation to the previous. Soon it becomes clear that you have to like 'oud natural and in this case also extremely animalic perfume, Anatolia Anatolia does not give refreshment! An original gourmand interpretation without being too sweet, sticky or nauseous. Delicious Drying and with 49% of Concentration has an Excellent Performance🔥💪🏻

Starts off with an overpowering resinous sweet scent, but becomes way more pleasant as it dries down, a nice take on a sugary sweet yet mature leather, as the "Loukhom" is not nearly as overpowering as other sweet notes often mixed with leather. Great performance
