Ganja Kasturi

This is the MOST realistic cannabis accord to date (at least to my nose). But if you think this is all just about ‘ganja’ then you would be wrong. The animalic nuance from this beauty - the ‘kasturi’ (deer musk) is also stunning! To be concise, it gives you that skin and flesh of the hippies who regularly smoke weed kinda vibe to it. The smell you have on your body and fingers after smoking a good organic weed. Gorgeous. It’s obviously green, with a slight herbal undertone, but also beautifully earthy and animalic. The animalic side of Ganja Kasturi is more to evoke the experience of ‘human sweat, skin and flesh’ than those of animals. It is quite refined and refreshing. Nice projection (not absurdly loud) and the longevity is ridiculous on my skin (15+ hours). You can tell right away this is a high quality stuff. Prin really hits it on the head on this one. Masterfully blended.

If you've ever shopped for a bong in a store, well, this is the smell of that store. Plain and simple. The most accurate head shop scent I've ever experienced by far. In fact, I'm pretty sure "Ganja Kasturi" translates directly to English as "bong store." A combination of nag champa incense and those sprays that are supposed to mask the smell of smoking weed. This doesn't smell like weed, by the way, at all. It's the smell of the store you go to to buy the stuff to smoke weed with, but had to say "tobacco" and not "that dank chronic doob," or whatever, to avoid getting hassled by the fuzz. Do those stores even still exist now in these times of herb liberation? I'm sure some college towns are still doing it. So there you go. If you've got some of that hippie spirit, this is a sexy one. If head shops don't exist anymore, well, this will be a throwback for you.

Lovely Green aldehydic opening with the Prin signature deer musk accord quite a bit of conifer and some sweet tobacco, that hippy vibe is present, Its a rather soft green not sharp making me think of the stems of white flowers which are also present. That cumin comes in reminding one of body's amongst fields of grass wearing crowns of flowers, light camphor going on, sweaty period but not to much. drys down into powdery musk in the late dry alongside cumin

Who would have thought Cannabis leaf accord could smell so refined and expensive yet retain its hippie charm. Very adventurous fragrance. Sniffer Dogs will love you at the airport. A delightful surprise from a master perfumer .

You are scratching a white soap bar with your nails, holding a smoking joint between your teeth. It’s the same smell you get everywhere in the streets of Amsterdam, staggeringly realistic to the level I would not dear wear it in public in countries that criminalise weed. I’ll sniff my wrists at home alone.

Pleasant experience with sweet smelling ganja and powdery musky cumin(y) facets. Mriga is a take on Kasturi or deer musk and I was hoping to get some of that translated here, but nope. Beautiful nevertheless and peaceful.

Ganja kasturi translates to cannabis deer musk. FYI And i think it tried to capture it but musk is not that dominant, cardamom would have been a good edition to this scent profile.

A powdery dense herbal green scent that is an ode to cannabis, this is an interesting offering from one of the brightest talents on the niche perfume market today. The central real cannabis note stays throughout the perfume wear and is surrounded first by a burst of spices and aldehyde. In the heart, one gets tea and other grassy herbal notes. The perfume settles into a musky powdery base highlighted by civet, musk, tobacco, incense and oakmoss. The unisex scent has moderate to strong projection and good longevity. A real trip, pun intended. Enjoy!

My first Prin fragrance that left me disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the scent itself is OK. But after the interesting opening, it quickly dries down into a green herbaceous and slightly dirty scent that is the end of other Prin fragrances I've tried once they become no more than a skin scent. Really nothing special and definitely not challenging. Scent seemed to be unisex. There was a slight presence of florals in the air but not with nose to skin. Longevity was very good but projection was only moderate. Not impressed.

After a suffocating bathroom spray-esque opening, this one eventually settled into a powdery, musky, green scent with white florals. Nothing I'd like to smell like

stinky but not terrible. does what the notes says, and does it well. but i dont want to smell like weed. 4/10

Strongly medicinal and camphoraceous in the opening but as it develops, my main take on Ganja Kasturi is an overpowering smell of piney bleach — from green frankincense and black spruce, not helped by the aldehydes — mixed with heavy, indolic floral air freshener. Some soapy musk in the base. Unwearable for me. Approach with caution.

This one is more of an art & memories than a perfume Its basically take me back somewhere in the past to a party with a group of unbathed hippies Counterculture of the 1960s Sweet green cannabis opened following by civet, cumin and spices very unique and soulful Master blended I don’t think I can wear this one it so powerful and will wear me instead but I fully appreciated this stunning perfume.

Ganja Kasturi hits with that earthy‐green, slightly feral pulse Prin loves: raw, smoky, almost ritualistic. King Cobra, its smoother sibling, slithers in with cool green florals and polished woods. On their own, they’re interesting. Together? They ignite. Layering them turns the whole thing into a green‐animalic firecracker: Scootaloo doing that Kapow! Pow! Pow!

Personally, I am trying - but failing - to look past that glimmering, turned up to 11 aldehydic part of this scent. It smells like a very bright toilet cleaner. Aside from that, the quality of the ganja note is nice, but if you want a photorealistic cannabis note, why would you ignore Comme Des Garçons Ganja?

Time travel in a bottle, very much 60's vibe. Reminds me of 60's Decor, fashion and lifestyle. It's conjures up images of attractive hippies sitting on a travelling hay truck in open fields smoking joints in the bright hot sunshine having a great time chilling. Amazing scent.
