Similarly to Anatolia Anatolia, this update to Mandodari really amps this up a fair bit and adds even more complexity and oomph to the fragrance. That champaca bubblegum opening is still present, tempered with the ash and coffee, relaxing into a smooth white floral blanket. This is beautifully exotic and very addictive, and is peak Prin, for my nose. Amazing.

The texture immediately reminds me of Diaghilev, although different ofcourse. This is more sparkly, airy, white florals, you cannot escape the tuberose. Very well blended I must say, vintage chypre. I would very happily rock this any time of year. Great work.

Stunning. A more balanced version of the original. Richer. Is it worth the extra? Well this wowed me in a way that the original just didn't, so I'd say so. It's going to be down to taste though.

The original Mandodari is actually deeper and richer than Mandodari Mandodari which is soapier and missing the beautiful coffee note. Sometimes the original has too oily smell for me, which is not the case with the new one. But I love the coffee in the original and the price difference is large, so I stick with the original.

Very nice complex floral with a sparkly pop from the cumin. I found the range too challenging for my nose, but this was a standout.
