Beloved

This is a beautiful sandalwood and balsamic scent with a musky soft floral and very subtle patchouli dry down on me. I really don't detect the spicy notes too much. I found this gem while up late at night browsing Ebay looking for a vintage bottle of Wind Song a fragrance I wore in high school. I really don't like Wind Song anymore but I collect vintage perfume bottles and so I really did not think I would like this scent also. I ordered it because it is in the vintage crown bottle that I was looking for and the seller must have not known its worth because they were selling for way under value compared to other sellers. If you like Bal A Versailles and Chantilly by Houbigant and other fragrances in that category then you will love this scent also. Now I need find another bottle for my personal use since I like to keep my collectable bottles full.

Love it♥️. I'm very bad in detecting ingredients but i love this very warm, cosy, sweet and spicy perfume. I have a vintage splash bottle but the scent is still wonderful. The projection and longtivity are above average at least on my skin and that means a lot because my skin is eating perfume like a mad man. So very few perfumes are performing on my skin. But this oldie is one of them. It's an old fashioned scent but i truly enjoy it very much.

The combo of sandalwood and patchouli totally explains why this was one of my mom's "going out perfumes" that threw me into horrible headaches, as a child. Smelled so heavy and overpowering to me. My mom didn't wear perfumes all that often and this was one I never wanted to be around to catch a whiff of. Well, at least I learned what combo to try to avoid.
