Golden Dynastie

So I blind bought this perfume and when I first got it I didnt care for it because it smelled to me very perfumy the kind that bothers people that don't like perfumes. I ended up giving it to my daughter. About a year later I saw sitting on her dresser and I thought, try it again. So I dont know if my nose or the perfume changed but I did a complete 360 and didn't just like it but loved it! And bought another bottle for me. This reminds me so much of my older sister growing up in late 80s early 90s . she always wore YSL paris the 1983 version. I don't know why I didnt get that at first .though still very perfumy ,I get rose where my husband smells citris. On me this lasts 6 hours easy. It projects like crazy. I'm gonna say this does have a vintage old money smell, but still can pass to be modern. I dont get jadore , to me jador smells like high end lotion.I do not think this is for princesses , I believe this is for the queens. It's very affordable at discounters you can find it sometimes even under 30 bucks. If you know and like ysl paris, you will get along with this one!

Lightly rose floral, with green nuance. Very elegant and gently sweet and woody, after it turns smooth powdery. A very good fragrance.

While I like Golden Dynastie, I just don't love it. I've been TRYing with Princess Marina de Bourbon perfumes -- Bleu Royale, Cristal d'Or, Symbol for a Lady, and I may well try a few more -- but, thus far, I just don't LOVE any of them, and of all the ones I've tried, Cristal d'Or is my favorite. As for Golden Dynastie, it is pretty and fresh, with a slightly floral aquatic feel, and green apple. But there's a very slight icky undertone that I can't really identify the source of... It's not bad, but it just reads a little "off" to my nose. Regarding the apple note, it's not as fresh, green apple-y as DKNY Be Delicious or honey-apple-y as Swiss Arabian Valencia, two apple fragrances I love. To me, Golden Dynastie is in the same genre as Elizabeth Arden My 5th Avenue or Ralph Lauren Woman -- just substitute a slightly sweeter green pear, in those ones, for the apple. I'm such a giant fan of all of these other perfumes I've just mentioned that Golden Dynastie just can't hold a candle to these, so I'll be de-cluttering it. Again, not bad, to my nose, though just not great.

Clean and sweet, but not candy sweet. Can serve a large age group from teenage to 50+ ladies, it is a very feminine scent. I get the J'Adore vibe but not a true dupe on my skin, J'Adore leans herbal on me but Dynastie is more sweet white musk. Might be weak for a winter frag but can multipurpose as a day and night scent for spring, summer and fall.

The bastard of Miss Boucheron and literally any DKNY 🍎 🍏. I say bastard cause there is nothing regal about this if you take the name off of it. I'm in the UK, we have a whole perfume group here designed for those types of people. (eg Penhaligon & Floris) and I have Princess Diana's signature Hermes 24 Faubourg. The point is I've smelt the way royals like to smell. This isn't it. And the fact that it markets itself as a royal line rubs me the wrong way. It smells like a royal trying to exploit us plebs to make a buck. Literally nothing special or royal about this scent. Don't fall for their gimmick.

A very nice and well-balanced light floral, pretty rather than sexy. My heart sinks, normally, when I hear the words 'fruity floral' but this is very nicely composed and feminine without being loud or sugary or cheap. Everything about it is light, from the green opening note ('green harmony', according to the firm), to the very gentle rose and hyacinth and the soft musk and woods underlying it. The perfumers are minimalist Julie Massé and orientalist Mathilde Bijaoui, so it's an interesting melange. Reminds me strongly of Fleur d'interdit by Givenchy, which I loved in its day. Very moderate sillage; staying power about 4-5 hours on me. Good for summer days in a flowery frock.

To @selinacat below here. Girl, chill out lmao. These are budget perfumes made under a brand created by a normal woman who married to a prince. Princesse ins't even part of the name, but the brand. I don't think it really tries to sell the idea that these are perfumes real royals wear. Do you feel this way about stuff like Vera Wang's 'Princess'?, or Lanvin's Modern Princess, or the Bath and body work's disney princess body spray??, like 😭?

I will absolutely recommend this perfume if you're a lover of floral scents. Golden Dynastie reminds me of the Vera Wang (same name of brand) that I had. It's frisky feminine and sweet, noticeable but without being offensive to others. I've just run out of a 6ml mini and am pretty sure that I will purchase a bottle someday : )

I agree with Lulu. It is very well blended. It's a classical composition but it's not out of fashion. The hyacint is very natural. It is a sunny and elegant fragrance, but it can also be perfect if you wear casual clothes.

Sugary sweet and simple single note. Teenage feel. Quite similar to Van Cleef Arpel First Love. Will not create an impression. But is good as a feel good perfume.

I swear I smell some coconut in this, but it's not listed in the perfume pyramid! Edit: Also, it's super sour at the beginning, or maybe it's just my chemistry

Get the vibe of J'adore but less sparkling.
