Le Prince Galant

I bought this way back when it was lunched but didnt used it till last fall ! upon first blast of the juice its feels like fresh cut lemons and bits of apples (in background) not bad but not so original! then gets a little spicy (at least to my taste) , pretty run of the mill here too , afterwards comes the woody notes of cedar (and those listed above) , well the whole package of notes are fresh and sweet though not overly sweet just enough to not induce headache in summer i guess! in terms of smell for me its pretty "Meh..." performance "moderate" and projection , it was cold and my friends still could smell me 2 feet away so "OK" in here , Overall rating of this juice to my taste is :..... wait for it :) "MEH" due to lack of originality i dont think its buy worthy though it was cheap if i remember correctly , only good for office and casual wear , beautiful name though ;) and why the like!? Bcuz PPL around me seems to like it!

First Pass - Woods. Citrus. Honey. Sweet. Faint pine and florals 2 Hours Later - Sweet spice. Honey. Cinnamon. Tea. Cloves 4 Hours Later - Sweet cinnamon, powdered sugar Overall - When I say I appreciate delicate, nuanced fragrances, this is what I mean. The brilliant interposition of so many accords at the top, dancing and weaving together. When you think you’ve guessed which direction it will go, it dives deeper, exposing a character of spices (cinnamon, clove, tea) underneath. Ultimately the scent is too sweet for me to find masculine. While I may not love the movie, it's impossible to be bored with the plot What a different scent Prince Galant (2012) is from Rouge Royale (2006), which I have reviewed separately. And yet the Rouge Royale DNA runs like a river through Galant. An absolute delight to have smelled both, and to see the maturity & growth of this fantastic house ***Scents, like tastes, are subjective. Wear what you like***

Wasnt too sure what to expect for this one. Did have high hopes. Was looking for an inoffensive 'office' type fragrance. This just seemed to have a quick blast of 'muddled spice' notes, and that was it! Really disappointed !
