Rouge Royal Elite

Tart and fruity, with a warm sweet heart, kinda like yours truly. This has a pleasing sharpness to it, I absolutely adore it. It lasts forever and has a tart realism to the fruits that more sugary fruity scents lack. On first spray it might almost be a little too tart, a little too sharp, but give it a second, it's just getting started. The vetiver and patch make a really lovely earthy backdrop to the tart fresh fruit smells, like eating strawberries during summer rain, and the amber binds everything together with its cozy sweetness, and really all in all it's a lovely strawberry/raspberry bundle of delicious cheap joy. Yum, red and juicy and just yum.

My girlfriend has this one. Delicious fruity fragrance. Opens very sweet but, in only 5-10 min. this sweetness fades and reveals an adorable feminine scent. In my girlfriends skin the longevity easy surpasses 12h. Very delicate and pleasant.

Initially when I sprayed this on, I found it to be rather bitter to my nose. Drying down it seems to mellow out, a little bit. If you can bear the first 20 mins, maybe it could be worn. The strawberry notes are definately there, but it smells more like crushed strawberry seeds and leafs, rather than sweet, plump, juicy, sugar soaked strawberrys. The flacon has a plastic, sharp pointy lid, which I don't like. It could be used for self defense....lol.. I bought this blind, as I do, based upon the notes listed, so I think my bottle will just have to sit there and I can try to find a more appropriate lid, or maybe it actually represents the juice inside, which is sharp and clings to your taste buds, is really not my thing at all. Alas, I so hoped I could warm to this fume, but I've tried three times now and I get the same result...

This is a very monotonous fragrance in the sense that it does not change much from the start to end. It is a raw fruit fragrance, in this case a natural strawberry with its leaves and stem. It does sweet but in a natural way, not an artificially sweet sugar bomb. The biggest disappointment with this fragrance is that it has no sillage whatsoever and cannot be smelt if you do not pressure your nose on the sprayed area.

I purchased the fragrance based on the strawberry note and the reviews. I really wanted to like this by I don't like it. I don't detect any strawberry. I think it has a masculine scent. I wanted to try the original one in the red bottle but I'm afraid I won't like it too.
