Citron

Citron is an underrated gem. Unique but reminiscent of the discontinued, sought after, Gucci Rush for men, due to the juniper berries. Perfect for hot weather, day or night. It will make you feel as if you're on vacation no matter where you are. Niche quality and completely unisex. For those who don't know, Isaac is the perfumer behind the original line of City Rhythm fragrances. Most of what CR offers now has been reformulated, as stated on their website. Prisma is the only place to get these fragrances as they were originally offered and intended to be!

One of the best fragrances I've ever had the pleasure of smelling. When I first got it, it was a powdery vanilla and had a tiny bit of florals and aquatic notes far into the background. It wasn't like a typical powder note that I hate, this was incredible. Over the next two months or so, it went from the powdery vanilla to a stunning floral/aquatic with very little powder and the vanilla was in the supporting role. I don't know how the guy does it, but he makes ridiculously good fragrances and I'll be buying more.

Very unique scent. I agree with the previous comment describing it as candied citrus. To me it smells a bit like passionfruit as well. The aquatic notes convey the fresh feel without smelling too salty. I really like the fragrance, but I have no sense of when to actually use it. I would need to dress up a bit for it to not feel like it clashed with my fit, maybe that's just me. Anyways, I give it a solid 8.5

Probably my favorite from the house, absolutely amazing! A fresh but sweet fragrance that can fit any occasion. You get a lot of orange up top, then it's backed by some unisex florals and a creamy nutty vanilla. Don't skip this if you're afraid of powdery fragrance. It's NOT powdery like you'd expect. Give a sample a try!

Absolutely love the Prisma line. Citron is one of my favorites. The fragrance is moderate to long lasting with more than average sillage. It is sweet, with a dash of freshness and fruitiness. The most important thing is the value of the fragrance. Affordable for the quality of scent that you get. Must have. Amazing work.

I just got my 11ml and yeah I’m 1000% gonna get a 50... it’s this very photorealistic candied citrus off the jump. Absolutely beautiful. The florals mix in so well here. This is like one of the best summer scents I’ve ever smelled. Price range there’s not much that can beat this.

when i first got this the blood orange was so strong in the beginning it threw me off completely i almost went to scrub it off, now around 3 months later it is completely different and now its just amazing and so unique! one of the best in my collection

The seasons in which to wear this fragrance confuses me a lot. The vanilla is very warm but i wore it in the spain 80° weather tonight and got a lot of compliments. So i guess this is year round and esspecialy summer nights

Love it, cant really compare it to any other scents I own. But its a beautiful, long lasting, summer vibe in a bottle!

The blood orange is strong in this one. It's right there in the front, and it's pretty dominant. There's also almost a fizziness and a sparkle to the fragrance as well. Behind the citrus, I initially thought there was a caramel note I was detecting, but that kind of fades, and as I'm looking up the notes, I see that there is nothing like that in there, so I'm guessing it's the vanilla/almond/nutmeg combo that's giving it that candy note. After it dries down, the aquatic notes come out, but that's well blended and hidden in there, and I wouldn't even know it was there unless I was searching for it. I wouldn't say this is an aquatic frag. There's a lot of floral notes listed as well, but I wouldn't say this is floral either. It's blood orange with some vanilla almondy notes and some zest/sparkle/fizz, all wrapped up in one. All in all, this is a very unique fragrances. I haven't smelled something like that ever, I don't think. I can't comment on the longevity, because I only have a 2ml and I just sampled it on my wrist a few times as I keep coming back to it. Funny story! The man Isaac himself sent me this 2ml decant of Citron when I ordered a fragrance from New Bottles Company. I hit the button that said "Contact Isaac for Customer Service". Not knowing who that was, I clicked and asked about a couple frags before placing an order and he said he would throw in a 2ml of Citron. It wasn't until a week later that I realized I was speaking with Isaac Hilton himself, owner of New Bottles Co and Prisma. Awesome dude.

Synthetic citrus opening which isn’t too great but the middle and dry down are great. Super smooth jasmine and vanilla. If you’re looking at Prisma I’d go for Zircon instead. 7/10 edit: Let it macerate, citrus is way more smooth now and it’s significantly better overall. 8.5/10

Not powdery at all to me, smells like candied citrus, similar to afternoon swim but with some vanilla but it lasts a while longer than that. Amazing scent

👀 can someone else verify that this smells just like CR San Diego? if so might cop I heard this is the same perfumer

I've never smelled this but yes this is the perfumer of the original formulations of CR
