Nefer

When a mad genius of the weird and wonderful goes all-out for "noble dignity" - and it works like an ancient charm. By Prin's standards this is almost conventional - a spice-inflected amber from a recognisable sort of genre, rather than some of his more crazed palette-busting collages. As a scent painter, he has a tendency to throw together amazing but dizzyingly compendious smells of everything, everywhere, all at once. This one is quieter than many of his more bombastic compositions, and closer to mainstream than almost any other I can think of. But it is still, recognisably, him - and still fantastic. Gorgeously warm and desert-y, with a truly beautiful cinnamon note that's genuinely spicy rather than just sweet and Christmassy. But it still has enough spice and sting to add intelligence, depth and interest. Truly regal, as well as beautiful. Although it kind of stalks around the territory of more normie "ancient Egyptian luxe"-themed things (Zoologist Camel, Fumee Arabie etc) with the sweetness of dried fruits and benzoin well to the fore, and there's nothing here to really shock or startle (unless you are nervy about cypriol) - it's just so much MORE than they are, or could dream of being. The dry spices and oud give it a darker, almost medicinal, bite and undertow which make it properly grown-up stuff. Its nuance and complexity still leave those distant cousins in the dust ... much as Cleopatra herself did to HER cousins, and her even nearer relations, now I think about it. Lasts for hours and hours, though the only thing less than royal about it is that it doesn't seek to dominate all around you; its projection's pretty discreet after a few hours, but the steady deepening of its dusty-woody-spicy drydown means you can hoard all the golden treasure for yourself. True thoroughbreds don't need to scream or shout and this one is of a properly regal bloodline. And amazingly enough, you too may feel like a queen of antiquity just by applying the elixir. Anoint thyself, rise, and rule!

Nefer Prissana Parfum (Store test, Rebellion) I was a bit nervous.. when I am thinking where should I be heading next after acquisition of few additional Guerlain fragrances from my wishlist. I am not sure.. will my Journey end there in upcoming May. Just to think of it.. I feel uncomfortable already... I based in Thailand so I visit Rebellion time to time. I used Fragantica Finder to find some new scent. Nefer show up once. I just have a chance now. I am so happy now I found another 3 scent. From the house. Nefer calls my name in a heartbeat. Warm, Resinous, Warm Incense. On my skin Nefer have strong rosy tint. And top of all, Nefer is airy. It is absolute interpretation of beauty of how Ancient Beautiful Egyptian Woman smell like. I recall another fragrance Sahara Noir; is kind of similar but don’t wanna compare. They are just difference league. 10/10

Prin! The rockstar you are. Spicy herbal amber overload. On my skin the sweetness respectfully bows out after the first 30 minutes, and the coniferous, peppery, floral amber splendor fills in. Just so BEAUTIFUL. This is a big scent for big personalities. It’s classy, complex, enveloping, spicy. 🌶️ The herbs and flowers go a bit syrupy after a while. I feel like I switch between smelling like a burning spice shop, and some rare freshly-brewed iced herbal tea. Super cool and very different.

If Anatolia Anatolia has been a KING to my heart from this house, whilst Saringkarn is a princess. Nefer, then couldn't be anything less than A QUEEN. This juice is one of the most amazing I have put my nose on. Full bottle worthy. (Am even considering buying the second and third bottles to stock up, yeah, I am that in love with it!)

Any of the prin lomros brands and each of their compositions strongly attract my attention. In addition, in view of the great success that he collects, I understand that he must be a great perfumer, since his fame continues to increase. However, something similar happens with him to what happened to me, for example, with the roja Dove perfumes. I don't know if I expect too much but I always end up a bit disappointed. In this case, I recognize the quality of the perfume as it cannot be otherwise. It is an intense, dense perfume, with a high concentration, natural aroma and an unquestionable quality ... But the problem is that what the aroma itself is, I don't quite like it and I don't know if I want to smell like that. It's not that it smells bad ... It has a strong and spicy output, a bit herbal (which reminds me of the aroma that comes when I open the box where I keep the infusions) and little by little it dries into a more smoky aroma, almost totally focused. in the incense. As I was saying, I don't dislike it but there are other incense fragrances that I like a lot more. I'll keep trying to see if I can finally find my prin perfume. In conjures incense and spice on a dry desert wind, with a dry heat and powder dust; rich but not very sweet. Very resinous, balsamic, with a heavy dose of saffron. This isn't a smoky stick incense, but a melted bubbling pot of benzoin, myrrh, and innumerable aromatics blending together. It's strong and lasts forever, but stays very close to the skin with little projection. Beautifully complex, but it's all base notes. Nothing rises above; rather linear. I want to love it, but alone it just feels like it's lacking something for me. Would be killer for layering, though.

Myrrh and frankincense with warm spices. It certainly evokes the scent of Egypt as the inspiration is the perfume of none less than Cleopatra. It is well balanced, and not overwhelming. In fact it is rather subdued, giving waffs of an exotic scent that brings you back in time. Long lasting and unisex.

Is everyone skipping this one? Haha. Anyhow, I enjoy heating resins at home and I love chai spices so I definitely wanted to try this. It’s a very very good smell that combined those elements well, but even when I put my sample all over me it just wasn’t strong enough to notice much. Too bad.

A very aromatic, sharp almost peppery incense perfume when compared to other incense perfumes like Ma Nishtana and Anubis. Ginger, Cypriol Oil and Coriander are prominent in a way that I do not enjoy.

dry, powdery, only slightly sweet. Creates a pleasant, intimate scent bubble. Very dense. Worth the price of admission? Not for me. (A Prin without a review from rbalkris? Unheard of !)

Smells exactly, like 100%, like a women's public bathroom. Non-descript perfume, Industrial floor cleaner, powdery air freshener, and human waste. Clearly, this was designed by a man who's never been inside our bathrooms. Absolutely vile. Would be embarrassed to wear this out in public. My husband didn't have the same association, but he rated this a 2/10.

Sweet and balsamic and cinnamic and so so so lush and regal and opulent. This feels like true timeless luxury, the way the ancients saw it. Not the crap that is peddled to modern people like they do at bond no9 or Louis Vuitton. This is luxury for those that actually know what luxury is. It’s so good I want to roll around in it like a dog and smell like it forever. I’m a big amber guy so biases are inherent but for me this is pretty much as close to “perfect” as a fragrance can get. Love love love love

Beautiful! Light incense, sweetness, myrrh, slight floral. This is very different from many of Prin's other creations. Very sultry. Intoxicating.
