Vanille Et Cognac

This was a love at first sniff for me! As a certified lover of boozy notes I think this was always going to be a winner. The vanilla and brandy mix is delightful, but make no mistake this is a brandy affair. The vanilla offers a soothing vibe but the booze is the star of the show - addictive and seductive. Layering with a decent vanilla scent would be an option. But I shall enjoy this exactly as it comes out of rhe bottle. Cant wait to bring her out to play on autumn!

I really enjoy this, but don't buy this if you are looking for a primarily vanilla fragrance. The booziness of the cognac and the amber notes are really at the forefront here. With that being said, it does smell very rich and sweet.

It's good. It's not doing anything innovative, but it's sophisticated and inoffensive. Would make for a good office scent. Edit: spent all morning trying to pinpoint what this reminds me of, and it's Sound of a Ricochet by Floraïku. I do prefer Sound of a Ricochet, but the quality/price ratio definitely favors Vanille et Cognac

A few years ago, there were a slew of vanilla/whiskey/oak cask fragrances that hit the market around the same time. I like this combo so much better, sweetness and no smoke. In the drydown, I sense dried cherries.

Hello! I just got a sample of this in the mail last week and I’ve been wearing it off and on during the week to see if I like it and man... I smell a menthol type smell with this one. Like I rubbed Vicks VapoRub on my skin. I’m not sure what is causing that smell... I am new to the fragrance game, but it’s just isn’t for me. I really like this brand though. I wanted to try other ones in the brand. But it’s got a very strange scent to me.

This reminds me of by the fireplace, jazz club and kayali ouds. It opens up very harsh with a disinfectant/pharmacy smell. Its sharp to my nose, that would be the cognac, I was really hoping for a boozy, rich kind of sweetness here, but nope, I got disinfectant. As it dries down the disinfectant smell goes and im left with a woody scent, no vanilla coming through at all. I would love this on a man, but I domt love it on me. I was hoping for rich, vanilla with some boozyness, might find it in something that doesn't have wood notes. Im glad I tried it, but its just not for me, its lasting better than maison margiela so ill give it that. But this won't make it to full bottle status for me, im disappointed as the reviews were promising. Not a safe blind buy in my opinion, best sampled first. Its a nice perfume if you do like a woody perfume.

I feel like my sample had to be bad lol all I got was cognac and guaiac wood.

Wanted to try something amber woody, and purchased this one. Well, initially I give it some time to settle it down but now after using it a couple of times, I realized the scent is good but it turns into some kind of chemical reaction which makes me dizzy. I don't know why though I heard good reviews about it may be I have one of the worst batches!

I have recently been testing this out and I must say it’s right up my street , I love ambery boozy cosy scents and this to me does not disappoint. It’s very rich and smooth it’s sweet but not candy sweet . To me this smells like a spicy winter dessert , I’m going to need the full bottle .

I get a dense and serious scent. It is a dark smoky vanilla, that basically resembles Tobacco vanille mixed with Herod. I don't know, I guess it is nice, it projects very well, but, I had the hope this one was going to be different. I am glad with just sample.

Received a sample today!! Ok I hated this on first spray but as time is passing throughout the day I’m enjoying it more and more! It’s a very Christmassy scent and I get alot of incense notes, dare I say I’m beginning to really like it 🤷♀️
