Superior

Superior is an okay clone for Sauvage but there are much better options. The bottle looks great, it's minimal but has the base information printed, akin to a Le Labo of sorts. The scent is good, but not perfect. Superior focuses on the citrus-amber faucets of Sauvage while Sauvage is much, much more metallic, pepper and airy, Superior feels flat in comparison. It opens closer to Sauvage's mid but falls to a different direction, which isn't bad, but clones shouldn't 'deviate', they should replicate. It really feels like they just diluted an attar with perfumers' alcohol and called it a day, you can easily tell the difference between this and Sauvage, unlike something like Modest Une. The performance is the nail in the coffin, i could accept the difference if this performed like an 'extrait de parfum' but it just doesn't, this is laughable. I get 3-4 hours and 1/2 of decent, strong. projection. By no means is this extrait. The appeal is universal as it clones a bestselling cologne. The price is terrible, at $100 for $80ml in Australia, there is no excuse to buy this, I'm glad I bought it earlier before these eye-gouging price hikes from scalpers. P.S: I am still holding out hope that I got a fake bottle, but if other users experience reflect mine, it's just really sad then Sad. $40 AUD = 6/10 $100 AUD = 2.5/10
