Black Tea

Oh no, I don't want to be the first review! Oh well. She's a sweet, spicy chai scent. Vanilla, cardamom, and pink pepper are the stand out notes to my shnozzle. As with this whole tea line, the perfumer is Quentin Bisch (ever heard of him?). Strikes me as a unisex scent, in the sweet/spicy realm of tobacco vanille. Definitely an intimate scent in terms of projection. Fades to a "your skin but better" vanilla musk after not thatttt long. "Safe for work" in that sense. People are going to say this is a fall/winter scent because it's spicy but I personally love smelling stuff like this all year round. I ended up getting both white tea and black tea from this line. White tea is probably a safer blind buy for most people but I'm partial to spicy scents and find them easy to wear.

Heavily steeped black tea with spices and some sweetness from the plum. I have Proad White Tea on one wrist and Black Tea on the other. Sniffing them side by side gives the impression that White Tea is more daytime, light and easy breezy. While Black Tea is dark, a little mysterious & kind of sexy. I like them both a lot and am very curious to get my nose on the other two from this collection. Love a good tea fragrance!

I think im going to make this my signature scent. It is so soothing. Very soft notes floating around. I absolutely love the dry down. Will be my winter fall and spring wear. I want to be associated with this scent Update: its a crime how little this projects. Im addicted to it

I am testing this and I am very impressed. It is not a tea scent that hits you in the face, which I appreciate. This is nuanced and sophisticated. The blend of bergamot in the open and plum in the dry down take the edge off of the black tea - but it is definitely there. The star of this scent is the warm mix of pink pepper, cardamom, and cinnamon. None is too heavy-handed so it is not a spice bomb, but it adds a beautiful tone to this especially as it drys down to the warm, vanillic sandalwood skin scent that lingers. Do I notice patchouli, no. Do I notice musk, no. I am sure they are there but not strong or overpowering. The scent ends as a close to the skin, slightly powdery, lightly spiced vanilla that is really nice.

I tested this scent by spraying 3 sprays on my arm. A few hours later, I washed it off with exfoliator and micellar water, but it wouldn't leave my skin. I am a person that scents normally don't last on skin, but this one was eternal. 10+ hours. The scent is spicy, warm, and slightly plummy with a cardamom tone. The scent was beautiful, but not a love like Green Tea, and Red Tea. I am gifted it to my son (27 yo) that loves this scent profile.

This is spicy, cozy, and powdery, but I feel like the name is a bit misleading since I really don’t get much tea. It’s airy/dry cinnamon and cardamom in the opening with a noticeably powdery dry down. Not really gourmand despite the “edible” notes imo. But it’s a nice cozy fragrance for cooler weather. It’s not at all like Gris Charnel (which I kind of thought it might be) but could be worn in all the same types of settings.

A lighter version of Ojar Wood Whisper. Great price point!
