Cafe De Chiang Mai

Just got my bottle today. After trying it out for a while, I would say that this is a rather complex perfume. My reason for buying is because I wanted a coffee based perfume. This is, in my opinion, more of a chocolate based perfume as it seems to be taking the lead role here. The champaca seems to be another lead player. The overall smell is okay. Like I said, this is a complex perfume and will probably take a lot more sprays over time to really appreciate it. Edit. After laying it around for a while, I finally picked it up today and reapplying it, devoid of any expectations. The result is that I like it quite a bit more. Having the Black Phantom around, I can fully say that it’s sort of like the BP BUT is quite a bit sweeter as I wished of the BP. BP is too dry and hollow like the eyeholes of the case it came with and I hate it for that. Cafe de Chiangmai is a much better version of the BP and I love it for that. If you’re looking for a sweeter more robust Black Phantom, don’t hesitate to try this. This is becoming another of my favorites. The longevity of usable silage off clothing is 7.5 hrs, after which it became skin scent.

Intoxicating and perfect unisex fragrance. Slightly powdery and a little bit sweet. This is a year round beauty. So sad it was discontinued 😭

This is rather light in nature when you think of the notes. I mostly get light booze with chocolate & tobacco with some florals in the background. I can't pick out most of the notes so I guess that's an indication of a decent blend? It reminds me of something strangers perfumery would release. IG: eatandsmellgood
