Cherry Syrup Gold

Well this caught me by suprise. I ordered a different fragrance and got this as a sample. This isn't anywhere close to my type of smells. I thought TF Lost Cherry was interesting and somewhat exotic, but definitely not something I would even consider wearing. When I pulled out the sample and saw the word "Cherry," I almost just threw it out. But I had extra tester strips and gave it a try. Boy am I glad I did. This stuff is addicting. Everything blends so well. On first spray, I get sweet/sour cherry (but not too tart or dominant), I can definitely smell the rose, a bit of cinnamon, benzoin and quite a bit of tonka. As it settles down, the whiskey really starts to take over with the cherry followed by the vanilla, tonka and benzoin in the back. On the final dry down, the way the whiskey pulls it into a multidimensional dynamic with the cherry is amazing. I feel like the way the whiskey gives it an almost peppery/leathery shade, it pulls ever-so-slightly masculine. I still can't believe I like this. I actually wore it today which confirmed my love for it and immediately ordered a full bottle.

I've been testing this one for over a week. I love cherry, and it combined with Angel Share sounded good so I blind bought it after being recommended from a friend (thank you) and received some samples, including the original. I won't go talk much about the original, but I think it's slightly better than Tom Ford Lost Cherry, with the same longevity and better projection. Cherry Gold is a deeper take on the cherry note with a little cinnamon and whiskey instead of rum. Leans 60/40 masculine on my skin. Also longevity is great even on my skin which eats perfume, even extraits. High compliment factor here and the scent aura sillage was even present after 7 hours out on the town. I carry a decant because I wear fragrance on skin (smells better) and I'm used to bad performance, but I didn't need it here. I can still easily defect it after 9 hours, which is astonishing on my skin.Tremendous value, performance and great smell. I had lost cherry and sold it with no regrets. This stuff is surprisingly good. Initial application and I thought it was "fine". The longer I wore it, the more I smelled it on myself, the more I loved it. This is a totally safe fragrance in that it won't overpower anything, but it stays with you. I have worn it out for date nights, at work, and just causally running errands. Gets a lot of compliments. This is one of the fragrances I love more every time I wear it. Don't let the name fool you though...yes I get some cherry to start, but many people have commented that it actually has an apple pie smell to it, and I can see that also. Either way, it is very good! Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 8/10 Overall, a solid 8.5/10

They didn’t lie when they said this was TF Lost Cherry and Kilian Angels Share fused together. A delicious cherry cinnamon roll with an apple cream glaze. Maybe also brown sugared, caramelized apples sprinkled with cinnamon, stuffed into the roll. Like Kilian’s, the liquor added during the apple caramelization process has evaporated but the essence is there. Angels Share is strictly a fall/winter holiday scent for me but this would get pull for the whole season. The value is also good and worth it.

Absolutely the best cherry fragrance on the market, that I have tried! The cherry is not medicinal and is not super in your face cherry. The cherry note does stand out but also blends in with the other notes beautifully! The performance is great and add a pressurized atomizer on top of that, can't go wrong! I have heard it's now discontinued though so better snatch one up before they're gone!
