Red Tea

This is very citrus forward and I enjoy the bright opening. The peony is light and lingers back. I really enjoy citrus fruity fragrances so I love this. It is not a heavy fragrance so its perfect for office or when you don't want to knock someone out with your fragrance. The red tea blends perfectly with the fruits. The dry down is slightly woody and musky. I don't get a soapy smell but slightly spa like.

I purchased Red Tea at Scentfest SF smelling it only on paper. I was looking for a less sharp “red” version of Wulóng Chá. I still wanted the rich tea and citrus combo, but less of that pointy Litsea Cubeba note. Red Tea is bright to start, a slightly sweet and fruity steeped tea with warm woods. It’s so calming and inviting. I’ve worn it twice and was stopped both times by someone wanting to know what I was wearing.

I’m puzzled by the note break down, all I smell from the moment it’s sprayed is soapy floral, it’s giving very mature vibes. I love anything tea but am somewhat disappointed that I personally cannot pick it up at all. I’ll let this sit and revisit it someday until then 5.4/10

Your common green/fresh tea smelling profile with red fruit instead of citrus. This one is the most interesting one out of the rather boring collection.
