I wanted to blind purchase this perfume but was advised against it by the seller. Instead he send me a sample and thus allows me explore this “herbal medicinal” fragrance. Indeed this is not everyone’s cup of tea. It starts off, just like most Chinese medicine, with a strong bitter taste. This is in the accompany of the sweet tobacco and vanilla. Takes getting used too. I think it’s a rather unique perfume. Daring of the perfumer. Just how many people would actually appreciate this jewel hiding in the shadow, I wonder. I will probably get myself a full bottle as long as it’s still available. After all this brand’s products are usually available for a limited time only. Will probably be great layering it with some others. Really gets my experimental side up for sure.

hmmm, my reaction is neither like nor dislike. ssis is a mood. the brand's statement of this being a chinese herbal medicine shop is spot on. on my skin, it is a "tiger balm." spicy aromatics. dark like pu-ehr tea. also navratna oil comes to mind, but a little more bitter. the dry down is a wooden box where the souls of the herbs once inside linger like moody ghosts.
