I believe I may have left a negative review on here about this fragrance, or I intended to at one point in the past. I'm going through samples again and I'm trying this one again today. I REALLY like this. I'm a little confused though by the fragrances mentioned in the "This Reminds Me Of" section especially Sun Di Gioia and Beach Walk. I find nothing remotely beachy about this. This actually reminds me like a lighter version of Givenchy L'Ange Noir and Floral Street Iris Goddess. I'm definitely getting a makeup-y creamy and powdery iris/orris/nutty vibe. No fruit, definitely no strawberry. And I'm not sure what cactus flower smells like but I'd imagine it probably has a green and watery almost aloe like scent to it if that makes any sense. Like that green and vegetal type smell you get when you break off a piece of aloe from a plant. That's what I imagine cactus flower to smell like but I could be way off with that. I don't really get anything like that from this fragrance. I really like it though. Powdery, it has a nutty ground up sesame mixed with iris and old school makeup powder compact and some lipstick type thing going on. I like it and I don't have anything like it in my collection other than Iris Goddesss and L'Ange Noir. Might have to get a FB. Longevity and projection are both decent.

8 Hours after initial application: This is a creamy floral. My daughter, who has my "nose" mistook it for Gucci Bloom. On second sniff she realized her mistake, and said it smells lovely on its own. I sniffed my Gucci Bloom, which happens to be sitting next to Arizona, and I see some shared DNA. The "creaminess" of the florals is quite similar, and whatever composes the "woody" notes is also in the same category. Arizona has Cactus Flower where Bloom has tuberose, making the fragrances distinctly different, of course. But, to me they are very much along the same lines. If you like Bloom you'll want to try Arizona. Arizona has a lighter, airier feel than Bloom. In addition to the cactus flower, the orange blossom and jasmine are outstanding. Both notes are noticeable in a way that only La Chasse aux Papillons has mangaged to capture in anything I've smelled. Arizona is classified as a Floral Woody Musk, but it is mostly a floral, for sure. At first it's syruppy and so juicy it's like sipping an orange blossom-jasmine bouquet. Overall this is much, much sweeter than I expected, because as it dries down I am basking in velvety cashmeran. I am in love. This fragrance is so "me" it could be bespoke. It smells like Sonoran Desert air, it really does.

Arizona (the perfume) is so beautiful. Out of my almost 500 bottle collection, i have nothing that smells remotely similar. Does it actually smell like Arizona? Not at all. I've lived in Phoenix since 1997, and past few years Phoenix literally became a place where your house smells if you open the windows. Every outing, your hair smells so bad that you just have to shower again, even though you showered before you went out... Smell of Arizona is literally dog poop and pollution. I'd say that only place that would remotely smell like Arizona ( the perfume) is a Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, but i doubt that is where the perfumer drew the inspiration from. As for the perfume, i am unable to single out any notes. It is like a fairy tale, just powdery enough, flowery enough, fresh just right, and sweet to the perfection. I never experienced anything quite like it. If it was a tad sweeter it would just be another designer, mainstream mess, but Proenza drew the line exactly where a line should be in order for Arizona to fall into niche category. I am honored to have it. By the way, bottle is way prettier than the picture portrays. Great performance as well. Absolute love for this one.

I received a free sample of this in the mail, and was shocked that it was an absolute delight to my nose! It's sweet, but not too sweet. It's youthful, but also graceful and mature - like someone who has seen the world, but hasn't lost the vibrance and wide-eyed wonder of a child. This is not some generic modern fruity floral. It has a lot of depth, and doesn't remind me of many other scents I've smelled before. All the notes are blended together so perfectly that you can't really pick out individual notes, although I think the cactus flower and orris accords might be what I smell most. Everything about this fragrance is perfectly balanced. It lasts a decent amount of time on my skin, drying down to a light floral, faintly powder scent, and has moderate sillage. Be careful to have a light handswith this one! One or two sprays is plenty. I tried three, and the powdery aspect of this fragrance became very apparent, even heavy. I have never committed to buying a full-size bottle before, but I think this one is my Holy Grail scent!

Bought blind also at Marshall’s a year ago. Tried it, very ‘BIG’, perfect to cut the humidity of 80% in August Florida. But then, then it became ‘too powdery’ thanks to the cashmeran and Oreos, when I would come in from lunch duty and sit in a meeting with coworkers. But on vacation to Idaho with 95 degree heat and dryness for days, with actual wild strawberries that grow here and fall powdery cliffs of sandstone with rushing riviers and mineral laden lakes? It’s perfect. I have a rwal jasmine bush at home in FL and this smells very close to a genuine jasmine note, and yes of course of love TM’s Alien ( which again I can only wear in fall through spring in FL) but this is a flexible 3 season perfume, with decent staying power,, a cashmere sweet note on skin but a beautiful green and solar vibe on clothes. Unisex as well- and I barely detect the vanilla nor rose. It’s a win for the discount price I picked it up for and would buy a second of it.

This deserves the hot desert name, starts off like a blast of sun and wilderness. It's really the first thing that comes to mind, so the solar notes are definitely dominant, there is something very citric on top of it, not sure if this is strawberry or orange, but to me it's a lot of fruity sourness and cactus on a dusty dry cashmere base. And the cashmere grows stronger fast. Love it so much for summer and happy about the fresh greenish cactus scent, which was the main reason why I wanted to try it. So it could be a favorite. However, it's a bit pricey here and despite the notes it's not an unusual scent and I'm pretty sure there are many others like this one, even though few are listed. Can't name them, but I came across solar scents like this before, probably everything citric top note/cashmere based will do.

I purchased a deeply discounted bottle from a favorite online store, along with other perfumes. I received what has turned out to be a collector's edition bottle-- They basically stuck a pink and black animal striped sticker on the back of the bottle. I sprayed it on paper, and I was obsessed with smelling it. So I sprayed on skin, and was obsessed. Woke up in the morning, having dreamed of it, obsessed, had to spray again. Smelled it on my hair 24 hours later, and had to spray again. This is how it has gone since I've acquired it. I think of it, I smell it, I need to spray more. My experience doesn't match any of the other reviewers below. It lasts forever on me. It smells super good to me. The scent I get at the beginning is the scent I get all the way to the end. I can't even articulate what I like about it!

I don’t know why this doesn’t get more love. Like other reviewers here, I have nothing else like this in my collection and it’s also the most commented on perfume I own. Every time I wear it, someone compliments it. To me, this is a high summer heat perfume. Fresh but thankfully not aquatic. A hint of powder (I own many powder perfumes so I don’t consider this one to be overly powdery) and not remotely cloying. It’s a perfect easy wear, office friendly, daily option that is just different from the endless fruity, sweet and aquatic’s pitched for summer. I love it. I highly rate it and I have stashed back up bottles. I’ve also just purchased the ‘Intense’ version though I see Frangrantica doesn’t have a listing for it yet. I’ll try to leave a review for it once received.

I've been eyeing this at TJ Maxx (I thought the box looked "expensive") and when I finally saw it on clearance for $18 I blind bought it. And I'm glad I did! The opening kind of surprised me as it was a powder compact smell - kind of like when you're a kid and you play with your mom's makeup? That kind of smell. I didn't totally hate it though. Once it dries down that's when you get the citrus and strawberry and cactus flower, which works surprisingly well with the powder compact smell. Normally not crazy about powdery notes but I really like this one as it feels modern and summery. update: definitely a summer fragrance. could NOT wear this in the cold weather bc of the makeup-ey powdery note lol

This perfume is truly one of a kind. I love powdery yet mature scents and this fits the bill. The initial spray is very soft and sweet but the drydown is amazing! It sticks around no matter where you stand, sit, or rub leaving behind the smell of a luxuriously but not pretentiously put together woman. This is definitely my go to for any season but it fits perfectly in the late summer days right before fall and right when the weather develops a chill as the sky turns orange. I absolutely adore this perfume and cherish it as one of my signature scents.

I also bought this at Marshall’s for $18. I saw one tiktok mentioning it so I picked it up. I wasn’t expecting to like it at first sniff. I immediately thought it smelled mature. But on the skin it really transforms, and in the shower it smells heavenly. At opening the fresh jasmine note is very strong for me and then it dries down to a sexy vanilla. Cant stop smelling it, can’t stop wearing it. The perfect summer scent for me. I’ve never felt this way about a perfume before. Definitely buying another bottle if I see one.

I get cactus flower, strawberry, and orange blossom - sweet and bright but with a 'watery' center (not blue or aquatic, but like a juicy berry you bite into and feel the juices squirt). It can definitely lean to a canteloupe place, or watermelon, like other reviews stated. On the dry down, the scent turns drier - musk + cashmere give the 'sandy' effect of the desert. This isn't a sexy perfume, but it is light and enjoyable. I'm glad I picked up a bottle at TJMaxx for <$20, to enjoy for the summer.

This perfume smells amazing like strawberry lipgloss, decadent orris butter powdery lipstick, and radiant orange blossom sunlight, but it gave me the worst blistering contact dermatitis rash I've ever had! : ( My skin doesn't usually have allergic reactions to fragrances and I've tested a TON including extraits, attars and all kinds of potent stuff. This is the only one that makes me look like I have poison ivy. Please pm me if this happened to you too from wearing Arizona. So sad...

When I first bought it, I was like "no, give me searing desert, not lipstick!" But since sitting around staring at it a few years, I appreciate it way more. It's creamy-dry, calm fresh/sweet, comforting the way an older person who can fix your problems is comforting. Give Arizona the keys and do what she says and get your shit together, but stay chill. Maybe dress better and grow up a little, too.

I recently used a tester of this!! O my gosh i reallly enjoyed this perfume during summer! To me, the solar and the cactus notes are very clear. Summer nights in a greek island, music, relaxed vibes and sunsets! That’s the definition of thes perfume! Very good sillage and longevity! I also got compliments for the sillage and the good smell! Perfect for summer. I can’t wait to purchase it!

Normally I can’t stand powdery perfumes, too cloying! But this is different, purchased a sample by happenstance and loved getting whiffs of it all day long! Might try again in cooler weather. One of exceedingly few perfumes that I would say you could wear year round. Might purchase a full bottle. Oddly reminds me of Versace Dylan Purple even though they don’t share notes?

I did wear this scent all last summer, and i loved it. Warm, sexy, and still fresh and not to heavy. I tryed to wear It this winter, but its not a winter perfume. I think whats missing is the warm sun smell on my skin combined whit this scent who is a winner in hot summerdays. I will wear IT again this summer. Try IT on a hot summer nigth, and you will see what i mean.

Arizona smells like skin after the sun with spf cream. Creates a mood of cozy tranquility. In cold spring, in cool but sunny weather, this fragrance gave me memories of summer days, it was also some kind of anticipation that summer will come soon. I close my eyes, inhale the Arizona and simply being transported to the sand heated by the sun. Big like from me

This is really um, different 😕. It smells like a green stem and it must be that cactus note. I really don't sme much else. I don't think it smells even remotely like Sun DiGioia or Beach Walk. There's nothing tropical about this. Pass. Glad I tried it though. Oh and it's pretty beastly. Sampled it yesterday and could still smell it on my hand this morning.

This perfume radiates beautifully and has been a compliment getter. It is youthful and develops nicely. Surprised by how different it smells every time I wear it and for the price it can’t be beat. Best described as a powdery fr/floral with an understated sophistication.

I really love this! It reminds me of a less spicy Kenneth Cole New York (round orangish bottle). I can’t discern any cactus flower or solar notes and I don’t smell lipstick. It smells like a floral woody musk to me. It doesn’t smell cheap or generic in my opinion.

The lipstick scent is definitely discernable to me but there's also this smell that reminds me of something that I can best describe as "rocks." I don't know how else to explain it but it definitely hits an expectation of how I imagine Arizona to be.

Imagine being in an oasis in a desert, with blooming cactus nearby. You have clean linens on a table, and a bouquet of flowers on it, and a bowl of citrus fruit and strawberries. The sun is rising. That's the vibe of this fragrance for me.

I spotted this at my local TJMAXX, and picked it up because it was rumored to smell like Beach Walk and Sun di Gioia. I sprayed it on and went through a couple stores today and got told that I smell heavenly. Score!!!

Never written a review here but I have to mention how much I love this fresh scent. It gives me desert, summer, fresh, solar vibes. Reminds me of another perfume but can't recall which one. I love this very much.

It says in the description that the notes are: orris, cactus blossom, jasmine, orange flower, solar accord, musk and cashmeran. There's apparently no strawberry, rose, vanilla, or any citrus notes.

I often times have bad chemistry with perfumes but not this one. It smells intoxicating and alluring. I often smell myself because it smells so good. Officially my new summertime fragrance!

Woody, powdery, soft and floral with a touch from the desert. The result is very feminine and elegant on my skin. I think it's beautiful!

I’ve spent so much on perfume so when I find a cheapie that is BETTER than most pricey’s im on board!

This is listed as a "floral woody musk" scent... why? This is a fruity sweet lipstick summer scent. There is no wood in this, not in the notes listed nor in my sense of smell. I love woody scents, sandalwood and coconut combos are probably my favorite fragrance genre, but that isn't what Arizona is. After multiple wears of both, I actually find this quite similar to the first 30min opening of MM Beach Walk, only more fruity and less sunscreen-like. I didn't initially make that comparison, but I definitely see it now and actually think Beach Walk is the closest scent to Arizona I've come across. I don't get much noticeable florals, I can sense the rose but it's quite subtle, even more subtle than Lancomes Tresor Nude, which is a fragrance I'd put in the same family as this, though Tresor Nude is a sexy drunk vanilla coconut rose and Arizona is a softer fruity daytime "safer" version. The sweet strawberry is probably the most dominant note, it was one of the first smells I picked up after spraying and it remains dominant, though it's a powdery makeup strawberry, not a super tart youthful body spray kind. This may be amplified by the cactus notes - I have a large cactus garden, and yes, the pink fruit/berries do have a similar taste and smell to Arizona. If you've ever had prickly pear iced tea, jam, or those cactus candy gummies, it's very similar to the fruitiness of this scent. I also get a lot of cashmere and powdery/waxy lipstick makeup notes. The cashmere note reminds me of Mugler's Alien Goddess, only AG is more jasmine/tiare dominant with that classic Alien DNA. Arizona isn't "mature" but it isn't a typical teen scent either. It also reminds me a bit of Olympea, only more fruity and minus the salt. Also, Givenchy's L'ange noir EDP int he powdery/makeup notes but a more summery/daytime fruity version. You need to be a bit of a makeup/lipstick scent fan to truly appreciate this - the makeup scents do fade and blend into the background, but they give a vibe to the overall scent that I think is what reviewers mean when they describe this as "dry" or "dusty." I own FBs of each of the scents I've listed and compared in this review, and like them all a bunch, so this one fits right into my collection. If you aren't a fan of those types of scents you may think this has a waxy or synthetic vibe to it. You also need to like cashmeran, it's the dominant sweet note similar to Alien Goddess and it's what gives this a light sweet musky scent. Even though some reviews and note pyramids claim Alien Goddess and Arizona are "vanilla" dominant, it's cashmeran. Not cupcake-gourmand, instead it's more of a sweet-rich and clean musk. This does not smell like Soleil Blanc in any way my nose can identify, SB is more "expensive sunscreen" to my nose, while Arizona doesn't have that orange flower/coppertone note and feels much more versatile. I blind bought this fragrance reluctantly, as it isn't the cheapest, but I NEEDED to know what this smelled like as the reviews were confusing and mixed, and I'm pleasantly surprised. Not the most unique fragrance. Not a beast mode scent, especially in cooler temps, but I very much enjoy this scent in the desert summer heat. It usually takes an hour or so for this scent to fully develop on my skin. For the first hour or two, this perfume is faint, almost disappointingly forgettable. After two hours, I give myself a light refresh/touch up, and I begin smelling my own body chemistry radiating this fragrance all around me in a sweet cloud that feels clean and relaxing. Make sure when you test, you give it a full wear and time to develop, as it may take awhile to get the full effect. Also, if you spray this on paper, it will smell like little to nothing and will never smell anything like it does on skin. It isn't a huge performer on paper test strips. It needs skin & body heat to open up. I'm pleased enough with this that I bought 2 backups, as this is discontinued but still available many places for a good price. I own a lot of perfumes, but this snuck into the regular rotation, and I'll be sad to see it go when I finish my bottles.

This scent is wild. I received this as a bonus sample to a decant I ordered on eBay. I was a little perplexed because the sample was only 1/4 full so figured maybe this frag was fire and this person was sending me this used sample as a “check it, this scent is fire” gesture. But anyway, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I feel like Proenza Schouler fell off the map for me. Like, I forgot they were even a Very Important Designer. Arizona Muse, the appropriately named muse for the brand, seemed like a distant memory of all the models who were ever models. 2020 has fractured many things for me, including my recollection of this brand and their ambassadors. Anyway, before I get into a novel, I’m just saying that I had zero notions or expectations from this. Upon first spray, you’re hit with a big, sweet, juicy opener of Double Bubble. When I first sprayed this on the card it came with, I was like “oh, that bubble gum note like in Tom Ford’s Champaca Absolute” which I believe is also similar to Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Oud Satin Mood. Look, this fragrance isn’t a one dimensional thing and I also believe pH plays a role here. The way it smells on the card is totally not the way it develops on my skin. So I get why some people are hating it, saying it’s disgusting; this is not for everyone! I’m not even sure if it’s for me! I think I get very different aromas based on my skin, the temperature, weather or not I’ve showered, etc. I’m still working out the notes here because it’s a little jumbled and complicated but I still like how it shakes out. I think if people are expecting a more mineral, herbal, woody, scent, evocative of Arizona the state, like tumbleweeds, blooming cacti and javelinas roaming mad, they may be a bit disappointed. This is a little too gourmande if your expectation of the scent is going to skew heavily on Sonoran Desert Vibes rather than being a nod to Arizona Muse, the female model. The solar notes skew very decadent floral; my nose gets a lot of iris, with some of that licorice-y anise root that I guess is what makes bubble gum taste so unique. I will say that I do not like how this dries down. After the initial orris storm settles, the fragrance begins to feel discombobulated. The notes that remain feel overly synthetic and cheap. The floral cohesion still remains on paper but on my skin it breaks down into something ...else. It’s not bad it’s just different and weird in a way that I can’t exactly place. TL;DR: Imagine chewing Double Bubble with the wrapper still on.

Looks so weird and creative and offbeat, so why does it smell so dull and generic so fast? This is what happens when a fragrance tries too hard to be all things to all people, and ends up as an undistinguished blur. Some respect for its lovely orris-y opening, all powdery and buttery and realistic... but whatever solar and cactus flower are supposed to smell like, on me the accords just merge into something vaguely fruit-mixy, disappointingly girly and - in all honesty - like something much much cheaper from H&M. Slight hint of something nearly interesting and woody, but it's barely there. Overall this just leaves the lingering sweetness and wisp of floral from a long-ago-opened magazine scent insert. Glad others smelt its kinship to Gucci Bloom, which is definitely there - I guess it's the absence of Bloom's bullying tuberose which makes Arizona much more tolerable to me. But come onnnnn! Call it Arizona and put in cactus flower, and I wanna smell real herbs and grass and dust and sunlight, not just some totally vague aura of powder-sweetness with an even more indistinct hint of something green. Was really hoping for something more challenging, but in the end this is just standard, mall-grade-nice, and nothing more. It's reasonably classily done - I wouldn't scrub it off me, it's balanced and discreet enough to be bearable even if you don't love it - but just a bit flat overall. Just a big shrug, in the end.

I realize so many people dislike this scent but i love it. i also realize i’m picking up some different things than other people. A lot of people in here say they can’t smell any sort of green smell, but i definitely do get that from the cactus flower. it’s like if you took a dandelion or some sort of white floral and smushed it around mixing the flower with the crushed stem. i really like that. i’ve never smelled anything like this scent before and i’m honestly in love. it definitely is a sweet fragrance but i actually don’t find it TOO sweet, but then again i have a lot of fragrances that are just straight sugar vibes. DEFINITELY a certain point where the scent becomes quite powdery and gives mild grandma vibes, but also doesn’t because of how it mixes with the other notes. the dry down is stunning and i feel like it comes with so much warmth. i find this really works with my skin. at first i didn’t notice the saltiness but after seeing reviews i kind of see what people are saying. i really just get a warm green floral with a certain sharpness to it while also being powdery and soft?? i guess that’s probably the saltiness to it.

Okay, so here’s the deal! This is one of those scents where I have to say, I agree with mostly everyone on both hate/love spectrums ! Lol. When you first put this on the skin, it turns a little nauseating. I agree with the people saying that it’s like something rancid or something cheap, which they are not wrong at all! However, that all goes away pretty quickly. The dry down is very very similar to Beach Walk and being that I bought this perfume for 18 bucks, I think it’s a steal. It also very long lasting ! There are soooo many notes to this perfume but the main one that I can say you’ll be able to pick up on is this synthetic lipstick smell and this makeup bag sort of smell. I do not smell much green to this scent and I do believe it is fairly very sweet! I don’t smell citrusy either. I do believe that it’s one of those fragrances where it smells better on clothes and where others smell you from far lol. It is loud and I think it can def be nauseating if you over spray! 4.0/5 as a fragrance for me ! I def like it though.

Stunning opening of warm, light and powdery fruity notes. I very quickly detect notes that are earthy-aldehydic and musky from the base notes. As the citrusy notes fade away, the strawberry gets noticed, very subtle and organic. Definitely getting a blend of vanilla, jasmine and orange blossom, also very subtle, enveloped with a cashmeran-musky cloud. Difficult to say anything about the cactus flower note, generally they smell green-floral in person, very light, not sure what type of cactus flower was used, nor what smell exactly it has in this perfume. Overall It’s a light, warm, floral, feminine, with earthy-musky tones to it that are different from what most perfume use as their base notes — sandalwood, patchouli, cedar, oud — that are just redundant. But not here. I feel as this perfume is underrated and a “department store gem”, glad it isn’t known nor worn by everybody. _____ Projection, sillage, longevity : 7/10 Originality, presentation : 9.5/10 Quality, value : 9.5/10 8.5/10

This is definitely aquatic and solar, fruity and beachy. It’s not tropical and thick but it’s like a refreshing and cooling after sun lotion rather than a suntan/sunscreen lotion. I have the EDP intense version and I don’t get much strawberry but there is a fruitiness to it, sweet for sure. But on an aquatic/ozonic backdrop. It has a sparkly, aldehydic tonality to it but no vintage feel... it lends a fizzy expansiveness to the fragrance. There’s a little prickly green nuance probably from the cactus note in here. Cashmeran x Jasmine makes me think of a very airy Mugler Alien, perhaps more how Alien Hypersense should’ve been executed—but this is NOT the personality of the perfume, it’s just something I’ve observed and can lightly sense in here.The base is still quite sweet, slightly woody, more musky than anything with hints of vanilla. It’s a Summertime/Spring perfume. Very pleasant and easy to wear. Refreshing and sophisticated. Kinda has a Zara type feel to it, though.

When I bought this, I smelled the scent from the bottle and it smelled amazing. It reminded me of a less intense "Nest: Midnight Fleur". When I sprayed it on my wrist it was a little more rough and I got a lot of cactus. A few hours later it was all cactus. That is all I smelled. I decided to try again and also spray some on my flannel shirt. On the second wrist application I spritzed and let it sit there rather than rubbing my wrists. They now smell like a toned down cactus, with orange and a little powder. It's nice. My flannel shirt however- WOW. It smells exactly how the perfume is described by the makers. Its an explosion of so many scents and is warm and very deserty. I think this is what they meant for it to smell like. I recommend if you want a light fragrance, spritz on your wrist and don't rub. Or if you want the ARIZONA Proenza Schouler full experience, spray it on your clothes. I like it a lot and will buy another when it runs out.

I got a sample of this and was anxious to try after reading reviews, since it does not sound like my style. overwhelmingly sweet and young at first, the dry down has me inhaling deeply of citrus, berry, floral/cactus, and a soft lovely creamy base. its been 6+ hours and i think this scent is just starting to get good. extremely sweet, but not delicate or innocent. Reminds me a lot of VS and Gap body sprays from high school in the 90s without the cheapness, and it occurred to me that this scent might actually work really well with cigarette smoke. Its a bit distracting and a huge departure from my usual scents but i think i'll end up using the travel size up, especially in warmer weather.

Kind of weird but in a good way. First blast is like make-up face powder, the old-fashioned and vintage kind. Once it settles its smooth and sweet but that solar note keeps all of the other notes trapped behind it and it is very unusual. This is linear and a one note scent, but kind of distinctive at the same time. I don't get the Arizona desert reference at all, I get less desert wind and arid sand and more make up powder and a soft well rounded fruity-floral sweetness. In spite of all this, there is something elegant and expensive smelling about it and I like the fact its subtle and not in your face. Too bad its discontinued as I can see this having a following. Overall, thumbs up.

I found my way to Arizona via Ralph Lauren's Pure Turquoise, only discovering Pure Turquoise, long after its discontination. Arizona has the same light, but enveloping vibe, and registers deeper and sweeter due to the strawberry 🍓 top note and vanilla in the base. Arizona has a dry but almost shimmery feel to it. This could be an effect of the solar, perhaps? It's a perfect summer reach when the temperatures soar and you don't want heavy sweetness. I gave it my before bed test and found it to be quite long lasting, especially if you sleep hot. If Pure Turquoise is the crisp linen business suit of summer fragrances, then Arizona is the sundress and sandals or tee shirt and shorts.

This is a strange one. I tried it in winter and didn't really think much of it but I tried it in 34°c heat and it's a totally different scent. To me it has about the same amount of amber as bronze goddess the perfume and so it can be quite cloying. In very small quantities however, it is quite pretty. I'm not getting the gummy bear scent that others are. I do get a bit of strawberry and definitely amber and solar notes. There is also some kind of saltiness which is kind of like a good sweat smell and a bit powdery/lipstickey. I think it's a lovely perfume but it is not fresh at all and I don't live in a hot enough country to be able to wear this often.

i was pretty conflicted based on the reviews that i saw, but arizona really smells lovely on my skin! i was worried it would smell overly makeup-ey and mature, but the cactus flower and fruity-floral notes really do make it feel fun and light and summery! i like that this scent does have that lipstick-ey vibe without being to heavy, like a fresh pressed powder compact mixed with red berries, citrus and musk. the orange blossom and jasmine are a little disguised by the intense cashmeran and orris base notes, but they meld together super nicely! a safe blind buy and something that i feel would be enjoyable for a variety of perfume wearers!

It is very heavy and powdery, with strong white-floral notes, although the noticeable freshness of citrus and strawberry balances it somewhat. It reminds me of Cinema by YSL, which I wore for years. Back then, I believed that if a perfume couldn’t be smelled from five metres away, it was a waste of money. To me, this fragrance is extremely heavy, strong, and sweet. I think it is only suitable for winter and not something I would wear in enclosed public spaces. That said, it feels quite harmonious and offers excellent value for the price. For reference, Angel by TM is unbearably suffocating and overwhelming to me.

Welp, on the 3rd wear, it became a YES for me! At first spray all I got was strawberry, something green, and another note I can't pin-point that definitely let me know I was wearing a perfume...now though, after about 4 hours, when I sniff my arm I don't get anything remarkable, but as I move about doing what I need to, I get whiffs of beautiful lipstick and powder. It's not over the top abstract to me, but it is a nice and pleasant smell that makes me feel like a lady! For $25 from TJ Maxx, I can live with it and feel it is a decent addition to my collection.

I got a sample of this ages ago and just ignored it until I needed to go away for a weekend and grabbed it. WOW. This is lovely and unique. I just sprayed it on and dismissed it as another La Vie Est Belle/ Black Opium genre scent but with solar/ozone notes. Eight hours later, I could still smell it and it was beautiful. Understand the comments about smelling like makeup - would put it in the lipstick smell genre but I LOVE that. And the solar notes. Really nice. Glad the sweet died down but let I’ll leaves a hint. Wayyy more complex than I gave PS credit for!

Immediately reminded me of Beach Walk by Maison Margiela, just less creamy with a prominent strawberry at the top. I really enjoy both Beach Walk and this fragrance, but I remember having a difficult time wearing BW and it makes me hesitant to buy even a travel spray of this. I definitely suggest this for people who like airy, delicate fruity florals - it's very beautiful and I am very impressed with this house in general. I definitely suggest sampling this, as it seems like most people would like this easygoing summer scent.
