Roma Imperiale

Roma Imperiale is among my top 10 favorite fragrances and I have well over 150+ perfumes and have tried many more! Overall, Roma Imperiale is a soft vanillic oriental that is definitely not sweet or foodie but is still mostly vanilla. This is the "orchid type of vanilla" that's both fluffy and floral but also unmistakably vanillic. It's the sort of vanilla I had been looking for; for literally years. Roma Imperiale is not a gourmand, not cookies, but still vanilla. Roma Imperiale is also not weird or edgy, but it's just so good in it's delicate soft oriental perfection that it stands out in a class of it's own. Roma Imperiale has additional soft spices and some herbal notes; I would not call it spicy overall but it definitely has some herbs and spices which make it unique. It is a soft, delicate powdery floral (probably jasmine and ylang ylang are the most prominent) that I could easily wear everyday and never tire of it. It has moderate sillage and good longevity. It's expensive but for me it's worth it and it helps that the bottle and box it's housed in are very nice. Like I said, top 10 and I've sniffed and owned lots and lots of perfumes; this stuff is one of the best of all time. Please don't let it be discontinued, I may need to purchase a back-up bottle out of fear! For a point of reference, there is similarity to Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidee Vanille, but it's better. I find VCA Orchidee Vanille very sweet, this is not as straightforward, but there's a similarity in the type of vanilla used. EDIT: (from almost 6 years in the future), I've realized there's a resemblance to Profumum Roma Battito d'Ali which has a similar scent pyramid. They don't smell a lot alike but they share the same notes and provide the same billowy-pretty-easy feeling. Since Profumi del Forte is long gone I thought I'd mention this! 1.6.2021 Also just want to say I’m getting so exhausted from everything I love being discontinued. I suppose the older you get the more often this happens. The joys of middle age. It’s getting ridiculous that every time I love a fragrance I instantly buy a back-up. At this rate I’ll be dead with 100 bottles of perfume. Someone should do a reality show about this insanity.

I love this scent...so beautiful. a soft floral, but not sweet. Sexy but not too musky, warm and vanilla, but not foodie. An extremely unique perfume. Sillage is like a dream, and lasts and lasts, though ever so subtle. I clocked almost 10 hours the other day and I continued to get wonderful whiffs here and there, very quiet but still powerful. This in my opinion is very high quality, smells like nothing else.I think of this as a warm fall scent, but could be worn all year very effortlessly. Easily could see this becoming my signature day scent, but could be seductive at night as someone may want to keep leaning in to your neck for a nibble....delish!

This is such a delight. At the first whiff I got loads of ylang ylang, but soon it settled down to a fantastic citrusy orchid combo. The scent I get is a gentle, feminine and sweet a bit reminding me of bubble gum, but only in the most positive way. The base is a sweet/gentle/musky mix. Sillage is a bit too shy for my taste, but that's the point of this fragrance I think - to leave a shy, elegant and beautiful trail to those who come closer Longevity - medium, I got around 5 hours. A very nice creation, very elegant, addictive and almost mouthwatering. Worth a FB. 8/10

I bought this perfume for the wedding of my daughter and I remember everybody told me it was delightful. Unfortunately I cannot find it here in Belgium (I bought it in Düsseldorf). This fragrance is very particular, sweet but not too much, chic and addictive. I wish I could buy it again.

This is a beautiful perfume, but I consider it to be a light one for daytime use. Mostly I get the scent of vanilla and orchid, with extremely subtle hints of oakmoss, orange, civet, and cinnamon. It's charming, very refined, and classic in style. It's sure to please most anyone.

Holy Crap! Where have you been all my life Roma? This is exactly how I imagine Rome's streets in the year 200, but in a good way. Fresh cut flowers from the palazzos, bananas and fresh spices from overseas, bergamott from the mediterranian sea. I am in love with it!

The first time I smelled it I thought it was cute and flowery-sweet, something nice to smell but not to wear. Now the second time I smell it, it actually made the link with Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood! They actually have a lot in common... Only the thing is that Boudoir seems to be cheeky, and this one more polite. Like twin sisters with different characters. Personally, I already own Boudoir... It has better staying power.

at first , you will feel orchid flower , a sour-sweet fruit and a smell like dry fodder in this perfume , sweet scent like honey well done "del Forte" because , sometimes will be women fragrance sometimes will be men . . . ! the status will fragrance lifetime frequently changed it is very good for a unisex fragrance also the quality of this fragrant is very high But cinnamon is more evident --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- وانیل بعلاوه گل ارکیده یه بوی میوه ای ملس دقیقا نارنگی و یه بوی علوفه ای خشک مانند رو میتونید هنگام تست عطر احساس کنید . تو این عطر اولش قدرت گل ارکیده از سایر عناصر سازنده اولیه بیشتره ولی حدود 4 5 دقیقه بعد در مقابل رایحه علوفه مانند که بعد از 5 دقیقه شبیه به اسپند خشک میشه کم میاره اینجا وانیل و نارنگی شبیه بوی عسل هست و بسیار لذت بخشه ولی بعد از مدتی نارنگی بوش محو خواهد شد البته تقریبا بعد از 15 دقیقه شما میتونید یه فضای آشنایی مثل نت پایه دیور ایوفورمن دیوراحساس کنید که به خاطر دانه گشنیز خشکه حدود 5 دقیقه دیگه شیرینی وانیل خیلی کمتر میشه و شما فقط میتونید یه شیرینی خشک چوبی رو متوجه بشید عطر حالت پودری خشک مانندی رو داره بعد از 35 دقیقه کم کم یه بوهایی از گل ها که باهم ترکیب شدند رو میتونید متوجه بشید . اینجا بازم شیرینی عطر برمیگرده یکم هم عطر لطبف تر میشه در نت پایه هم کلی نت چوبی خشک مانند خوشبو بعلاوه بوی به ضعیف شده علوفه مانند بعلاوه بوی بسیار ضعیف گیاهی رو حس خواهید کرد که مقدار بسیار اندکی از بوی وانیل هم اونارو همراهی میکنه البته همراه اینها یه بوی بسیار بسیار بسیار ضعیف حیوانی هم حس میشه که خیلی عطر رو شیک میکنه و عطر رو دوست داشتنی تر هم میکنه و اصلا بوی بدی ایجاد نمیکنه بعد از 1 ساعت دیگه بازی نت ها تموم میشه علاوه بر موارد بالایی بوی بسیار لذت بخش و بسیار طبیعی ملایم دارچین رو حس خواهید کرد . کیفیت عطر معرکست معرکه انگار چودر دارچین رو همین جوری ریختن تو عطر هیچ فرقی با خود دارچین نداره واقعا باید به طراح عطر احسنت گفت چون طوری عطرو طراحی کرده که در مقطعی از زمان عطر یکم به زنانه نزدیک میشه و در یه مقطع زمانی به سمت مردانه میره این حالت چند بار سویچ میشه و به نظرم این ویژگی عالیه برای یه عطر یونیسکس انصافا عطر خوب و با کیفیتی هست و اشکالاتی که میتونم از این عطر بگیرم قیمت زیادشه 100 میلش حدود 700 تومنه و اینکه اصلا شیشش به قیمتش نمیخوره یعنی به قول خودم عطر کلکسیون خراب کنی هست ولی روزی اینو به عنوان یه عطر یونی :) خرید میکنم با تشکر فراوان میثم وظیفه

Sorry everyone, it's probably my skin, but I tried this scent from a decant I just received from Lucky Scent. I was so excited to get it. I put it on my hand and immediately there was an odd synthetic smell that did not bode well. As it dried down things got worse. The overall scent was of a latex glove and new unused plastic syringes. Ugh! I do not think Imperial Rome smelled like this and I don't know how anyone gets an oriental from this. The only thing that made it bearable was when I scrubbed it vigorously with some lavender soap and that seemed to get rid of that awful latex glove smell. After the scrub I could smell some of the nice things the other reviewers have talked about. The amber, vanilla and orchid came through and it's bearable but only after I tried t scrub it off. Bottom line, get a sample of this first to see how it smells on your skin. This is definitely not the perfume to try on a blind buy!

Delicate and delightful perfume for the lovers of powdery flowers. Can't be a longlasting: is in its very nature to be and not be there, a flowery and sweet caress that pleasantly illuminates the day without being overwhelming. A small masterpiece of Italian elegance and style where the tuberous not flatten but enhances the floral component, and the orchid with the rose blend with amber and vanilla. Very elegant both the bottle and packaging.

Can anyone direct me to where I could purchase a discovery set? I received a small vile decant, fell madly in love and I can find nowhere to purchase from a website. I understand this house is in Italy..I am in Canada but, I literally can not find any site in which to order a discovery set to try and solve this unsettling mystery. Please help if you can?

I actually get a lot of syringa + iris. It's a white, pretty floral scent that is utterly soft, sweet and gorgeous. Feminine but elegant.

This smells like vacation in a bottle! 🏖️ Don’t know why, but it just reminds me of a sunny day at a really luxurious resort!
