Crema Limone

Less sweet, more mature, and more 'perfumey' than its younger, sugarier sister Bake. I find it less overwhelmingly gourmand in a way I really appreciate as I don't love smelling like a sugar bomb. It has that 'italian perfume' DNA swimming about in the background which I think is what makes it seem more like a perfume perfume to me. I'm really appreciating it right now, I don't smell it constantly even though I sprayed 5 times. It's only been about 45 mins so can't speak to the longevity, and haven't had anyone except my gf comment on its sillage (it was about 5 mins after I sprayed it, and she said I had a nice scent trail). I love Bake even though I don't own it, but I would say you don't need both of them because they're pretty darn similar.

Most gorgeus lemon fragrance I've ever gotten my nose on. Immediately ordered a full bottle from an Italian perfume store. The combo of lemon and vanilla is exquisite to my gourmand-loving sensibilities. Immediately got a compliment walking past someone while wearing it. I will rock this in every season even though lemon/citrus frags are typically associated with spring and summer. It's that delicious.

Crema Limone is absolutely fantastic fragrance! You can actually smell the juicy lemons and even a piece of cake there. It's not bitter, not too sweet, perfectly balanced. Feminine in a best possible way, smells classy. Amazing gourmand- juicy, creamy, well blended 🥰 It's a love for me.

I really dislike the initial opening of this. It has a sharp, cold mandarin orange note which just doesn’t agree with me. This does mellow down quite quickly, and within a few seconds it becomes much nicer, as it blends into the creamy lemon. It reminds me of the lemon crème you’d find in a Cannoli, or a lemon sorbet. However the coldness remains throughout, which I think is due to the mandarin and unfortunately is a note I’m just not keen on. I love lemon scents and am a fan of the OG D&G Devotion, but Crema Limone is maybe also lacking in sweetness for me.

Vanilla and lemon lead the opening, with caramel and brown sugar becoming more evident in the drydown. Reminds me of a lemon mousse. Leans more feminine to my nose. Good performance overall, lasting a long time on clothes, with about 8h longevity and 3h projection on skin. Works well as a signature scent for young women under thirty. Feels like a light version of Chanel Edition Blanche EDP, which has woods and vetiver in its composition, making it more complex and more masculine. Good 8/10 fragrance.

The initial spray reminds me of lemon heads candy when you first pop it in your mouth. That tart lemon but as it dries down I start to get the chewy sweet lemony middle of the candy. On my skin the lemon stays throughout the entire fragrance. On drydown it is still there but with a lot of vanilla. I only get about 4 hours of wear with 6 sprays. It is sweet but not too sweet if you are a gourmand lover. I really like it and would definitely wear this as a summer gourmand.

Got a 10mL decant, certain I was going to love this. it opens with an oddly floral lean, even though it is not in the notes. Not nearly as gourmand as I hoped. Will leave it for a couple months and come back to it, hopefully it warms up.

A sample vial of this fell out of an order, and I blindly went ALL IN before work. (Well, I read the notes, but had not SMELLED it yet, lmao) I don't love the opening, too tart and there was a funk. I worried this could/would go bad. But it didn't. It's delicious. Totally day/work friendly. In fact, the sillage is weak, so my 8-10 sprays is also light and people friendly. This is nice, but Devotion is so much better.
