Matelda

This is such a magical and fluffy fragrance! I fell in love with it at first sniff. I know buontalenti from this house is really popular, and I own that one and love it, but matelda is seriously a hidden gem and so underhyped. Its very soft and fluffy and dreamy, it’s like peach flavoured macarons or a peach lipgloss. It remind me of barbie dolls too, it has a nostalgic vibe to it. I imagine if barbie’s fairytopia land had a scent, it would be matelda, a magical fluffy meadow with pink clouds and beautiful peach blossom flowers. ✨🌸🍑🧚🏻 The main notes I smell in this are: sugary candy peaches, soft fluffy florals, and a creamy bakery like vanilla! It is soft and lightweight, I would say it is an intimate skin scent, but it’s still quite long lasting on the skin. If you love leisure in paradise, buontalenti, dama bianca, or even Carner Tardes, you will love this one. I’m not saying it’s a dupe of any of them (it’s close to leisure in paradise but much softer and more floral and fluffy). It just has a ultra feminine soft fluffy and magical vibe like the ones I just mentioned.

If there's happiness to be found in a perfume bottle, than it's in Profumo di Firenze's Matelda. It was love at first sniff - so beautifully balanced, so light and joyful, perfect companion throughout the day or when going to bed. I really love a good peach fragrance, a chamomile note too, but to mix them in such a way to achieve radiance... Excellent. Matelda is a cozy and serotonin inducing perfume, like sun beams on your skin. I really love Profumo di Firenze fragrances, their simple yet beautiful bottle and packaging, their minimalistic yet indulging visuals when promoting a fragrance, it's authentic "dolce vita" philosophy in a bottle...

matelda is a lovely fruity powdery vanilla fragrance that begins with a refreshing burst of white grapefruit. as it settles, it transforms into a beautiful vanilla floral! the chamomile and violet really shine in the floral notes, and there is a subtle tartness, which is prob from the Peru balsam. it then softens into a lovely, light vanilla with a hint of violet or another floral. it’s soooo so so pretty and reminds me of bbw butterfly, but without the raspberry note! it’s a lovely, ethereal fragrance that gets compliments whenever I wear it and i think its perfect for the spring and summer

There is something beautiful about this fragrance in its complexity that makes it bright and airy, yet sweet with a touch of earthiness. When I first smelled this fragrance, it wasn’t what I was expecting at all...and I was captivated. I immediately felt nostalgic for some reason...it’s grounding, uplifting, and comforting. To me, this is a harmonious blend that leans feminine, and I can’t stop sniffing myself. As a fragrance enthusiast, this is another fragrance that really makes me enjoy this hobby as much as I do.

I wore this fragrance all day today and I knew it smelled familiar. At first, I thought it was Angel’s Share which does smell similar but not exactly. It hit me when I really sat and smelled, it smells like a softer version of Safanad by PDM which is one of my favorite fall fragrances. For me, this perfume lasts pretty much all day, I’ve been wearing it since 7am and it’s now 2 and I can still smell it. I love this so much, it’s beautiful and I think is truly unisex. Definitely for me is full bottle worthy.
