Viandante

Profumo di Firenze and Simone Andreoli have some of the most realistic smelling fruity gourmands fragrances I have found! Fruit bowl with a side dessert of a creamy custard or a thick vanilla pudding. You’re in the kitchen during the weekend with all these delicious treats around you and you just want to enjoy life and have them all. Gluttony at its finest! That’s what I envision when I smell Viandante! A decadent experience! Opens very sweet and juicy with a very pronounced passion fruit, raspberry and pear smell. Then slowly I can detect peaches, redcurrants and a gooey vanilla added. The floral listed in the notes, the patchouli or the fresh lemon not so much, or clearly enough to make me think Viandante is changing into something else than a scrumptious fruit cake fragrance! It’s something in here that makes it feel powdery but there’s no iris or violet mentioned in the notes. Maybe be the raspberry note... The downside of this (nearly) edible experience is the performance. It’s more of a quiet and minimal in terms of performance. But as long as it lasts it utterly delectable! Obvious to say that it’s a very girly and feminine, soft and delicate type of scent! Spring and summer wear. Cute, clean and classy looking packaging and bottle. I would love to add this beauty to my collection one day. I have not tried Kirke, Cassiopea or Erba Pura so I can’t comment on the similarities between them. But the notes listed for all these three fragrances look pretty similar, especially for Kirke!

I blind bought this bad boy and it leans more masculine on my skin comp but it is kinda synthetic. I think that its a great summer fruity fragrance!

Viandante Profumo di Firenze is a light fruity, woody musk that is not an Erba Pura dupe. The two fragrances are distant cousins, but the Viandante has a dominant peach note and is not a beast like EP. In fact, when I first tried Viandante, I was a little disappointed because of how quiet the dry down was on me. Another thing--Viandante is NOT A GOURMAND fragrance. Vanilla is in the note list, but I couldn't detect it. I repeat, there is NO VANILLA, no praline, caramel, chocolate, sugar, or candy in this fragrance, just plain fruit, with a touch of patchouli, musk, and floral notes. I feel like the note list has people expecting a peach dessert, but this is more like a fruitchouli from 2010. Consider yourself warned. In spite of the mediocre performance and lack of gourmand touches, I still really enjoy Viandante, especially as an every day, easy reach fragrance for work and other occasions. 4/5

Viandante is a fresh, crisp sour peaches and herbs perfume. I do not get much sweetness, and I do find lots of similarities with Kirke, softer cousin definitely. I am not sure about the rest of the bottles and/or batches, but mine has a zero staying power. Puff, and gone...literally. However, I feel very energized for like a nano-second :) I wish for the price it had longer staying power and was more concentrated.

There's an old Queen Anne style home where I live, and inside is an antique and coffee shop. I had (and still don't) no fondness for coffee, so I picked up a biscotti biscuit. This perfume reminds me of that-- a tart, bitter start with a fruity (almost too fruity) and syrupy continuation, with a sweet, cocoa aftertaste. Much more mature than most sweet scents, though, so I like it a lot.
