A year ago, I requested tips from the perfume shop staff on some gourmand perfumes, in search of my future signature scent. Sorriso by Profumum Roma is what they suggested. After trying it on a strip I absolutely fell in love. "Wow! A perfume that literally smells like chocolate!? I love it!" all my prior experiences with perfumes had just been the same generic fragrances found in all mainstream perfumes. I couldn't justify spending 250€ on a 100ml bottle as a student, however, and came home empty-handed. But I found excuses to visit the store ever so often to try it on my skin. Even after 24 hours, the scent is still very pronounced, I noted. A few days ago, I, once again, tried it on as I had no scent applied and happened to pass the perfume store by. After spraying it once on one wrist, it hit me how cloying this scent actually is initially. Almost dizzying or sickening, even. It brings to mind those horrible scented pinetree-shaped carfresheners that you hang in the rearview mirror in the car. On my way home, I could still smell the scent under my wintercoat without having to lift my wrist up to my nose. An hour later, after a long train ride home, I open my door to be met by my housemate who immediately questions me; "Have you been eating chocolate?" as she entered the room. For the entirety of the evening I was affectionately dubbed "the Chocolateman". Thanks, Sorriso. I did receive compliments regardless! Towards the end of the evening, when the perfume had dried down considerably, the cloying sensation had disappeared, leaving a fragrance of chocolate and orange, to my inexperienced nose. This would be when the fragrance is at its best and it occurred, on me, several hours after the initial spray. The day after, the scent still holds strong. I'd say you can get away with a spray every 2 days if you don't see it fit to shower in-between.

This one is polarizing, and I think I know why. To anyone saying this smells like sunscreen, disinfectant, or "dusty", I suspect you are smelling it directly from the skin. If you are looking for a scent you enjoy taking in as a sniff of your forearm or mainlining directly up your nose from the nape of your neck, this probably will not work for you. Sorriso is *100%* about sillage, because it must diffuse in order to develop the chocolate note (and boy, does it). Smelled directly from my forearm, yes: It's not good! At high concentrations, Sorriso smells like musty old coconut suntan oil. It is a case study in diffusion. But the sillage. It is truly as chocolatey as advertised — or, as another reviewer put it: like the world's best scented chocolate candle. While not cloyingly sweet or posessing any caramel notes (i.e., you won't smell like a waffle cone), it is unmistakably what a child would think of as the "smell" of chocolate. The vanilla is strong, but it's your blending layer. I'd say it's not distinctly noticeable until the chocolate wears off. And unlike Profumum's other sweet unisex scents, I don't get any almond or marzipan on this one. The chocolate is fully center-stage. And as with all of Profumum's products, the staying power is immense. As a man, I can't imagine finding something else this chocolatey that is also still firmly unisex. As for the comments about orange or woody undertones, perhaps they're there, but I don't really notice them. This is a very straightforward chocolate bomb. Price is totally bananas, but it's also totally unique and immensely concentrated. You get what you pay for.

Sorriso by Profumum Roma has quickly become one of my favorite gourmand fragrances. It opens with a hint of orange blossom and plenty of cocoa butter. The orange note is not bright nor acidic and it is blended seamlessly with the composition. The drydown reveals a creamy, intoxicating chocolate supported by vanilla and musc. The result is both creamy and powdery, sweet and snuggly. This simple note list (dark chocolate, vanilla, exotic woods, and bitter orange) results in a truly addictive, slightly woody, chocolate musc that smells rich and gourmand, but somehow feels slightly summery with the cocoa butter lotion aspect. IMO this could be worn all year, as long as one doesn’t over spray during the warmer months. The quality of this fragrance is excellent—one spray will last for the entire day. Given that Sorriso is so rich, smoothly blended, decadent, and long lasting, I think it is worth the price point. I realize that Sorriso is a little simple; if you are looking for something complex, original, or groundbreaking, this might not be for you; but, if you are looking for a high quality, easy to wear chocolate perfume, then this might hit the spot. 4/5

This... is the best chocolate fragrance I ever smelled. Have you ever had those booze-filled dark chocolate candies? That's the star player in this fragrance, not a kiddy Tootsie Roll milk chocolate but a grown-up smooth dark chocolate covered in something akin to whiskey. It's entirely possible that it's the vanilla that's so boozy. Supporting the chocolate and booze is coconut. No one else has mentioned it but that vague "tropical woods" accord is perhaps something like mahogany with coconut to give it a distinct tropical feel without coming off as sun tan lotion. I barely detect the orange at all, so it's acting more as a background player. Very very often in fragrances you'll find that chocolate accords dry down to become quite powdery, but not this one. The main change in development in this fragrance comes from the booze and coconut accords fading out a bit quicker, leaving mostly a smooth dark chocolate that's not super gourmand, perhaps the mahogany or whatever it is giving it a little backbone. I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed this. "A".

I don't even know where to start with this perfume because it is just so amazing. I bought a sample of it last year and wore it around for dates, going out for dinner, etc. I received numerous compliments on this! I wore it out for my 21st birthday celebration last year and had 3 people tell me I smell amazing. My one friend said I smell like a luxurious chocolate shop in Europe. It is definitely not a spring or summer scent. I highly recommend wearing it in the fall and winter. In regard to the smell, it is the perfect blend of chocolate, bitter orange, and vanilla. I get all of the notes when it mixes with my skin. All I can say is please try this perfume out if you're looking for something delicious, alluring, and most importantly - UNIQUE. I haven't smelled something quite like it. At least where I live, nobody owns this perfume and I don't think it's popular in North America, so you will DEFINITELY stand out wearing it in the US or Canada.

Well, I am in love again! A very deep, rich chocolate vanilla. Yes it is chocolate, but it is not super sweet, it is incredibly sophisticated, smooth, and expertly crafted. It is unisex but super wearable and crowd-pleasing! If I smelled this on a man, woman, or non-binary person, I would simply ask for their hand in marriage. I also smell almost a leathery note, which I assume is probably the woods. I also get that orange, but it is used to perfection where it really lets the chocolate shine and just adds the right amount of depth and complexity. I totally agree with the reviewer who said that it also kind of smells like old books in a library, which is just perfect for me as I am both a bibliophile and a sweet tooth! I just want to tour Europe and visit cute bookstores, pretty libraries, and chocolate shops while wearing this.

Ahhhh, Sorriso.... definitely puts a smile on my face. I get what other people are saying with the plasticky/medicinal undertone..but it doesn't bother me and I can only smell that right after I spray it and if I put my nose up close, in the air, it smells like chocolate pudding or hot chocolate made with milk. True...I was expecting a dark chocolate, but I'm not mad at all. Performance is amazing, didn't expect such a big sillage from such an oily fragrance, but it's room filling and longevity is eternal(two sprays max). One of my most comforting scents, makes me feel like a happy kid with sticky fingers. Very simple composition, linear, but not all fragrances need a lot of depth, the name of this one fits perfectly, no shenanigans, just pure smiles. Perfect fragrance for a cozy time, love it! ❤️

A perfumey, melted, a little cold, but not powdery, chocolate masterpiece. I have nicknamed it liquid gold as it has that texture and quality to it. A little bit of floral detected but I do not pick up on the woody notes. It is slightly fruity (probably from the orange) in the background, not too gourmand. It has fantastic projection and sillage. Can be worn winter or summer because it is not heavy, dense or cloying but light, fluffy, delicate and pleasant. A unique chocolate interpretation without being foodie. I get gentle wafts of milky chocolate throughout the day that create a beautiful scent bubble. A powerhouse of longevity and a little goes a long way. A definite love! 10/10. Full bottle worthy but expensive and minimal sprays get you through the day so a decant is fine.

Oh my.. Words can't describe how much I love this scent! I never knew that chocolate gourmand could be this elegant. My absolute top favourite gourmand. It's rich chocolate and almondy liqueur and citrus and everything nice. The interesting twist and suprise is that it somehow projects as rather fresh and young despite the opulence. So yes, it's gorgeous, opulent, round and generous and elegant and playful and it will make the Autumn even more beautiful. Every year, I cannot wait until the beginning of the Autumn to take it out of my scent wardrobe and knock everyone's socks off :) It's hugely attractive and lovable and everyone will comment and want to know what is the utter loveliness that is surrounding you. Profumum Roma is absolute top quality.

After a few days of wearing this I finally feel ready to give a quick review. Sorriso opens with a blast of boozey caramel goodness. Like a caramel honey liqueur if there is such a thing. It's super sweet but with a sharp edge. I love layering this with WHATEVER I am wearing to add a gourmand dimension. I get the vanilla, chocolate and citrus notes, but I can't put my finger on what the 'woody notes' must be. Pencil shavings or even something metallic. It's strange, yet oddly addicting. Certainly unique. Other than Sorriso, I've only ever tried a small sample of Confetto , which disappointedly I wasn't a fan of. I have a discovery set from the house on the way now and I look forward to sampling others especially acqua e zucchero and dulcis in fundo.

My advice is not to approach Sorriso thinking it is a chocolate fragrance. It is actually a vanilla fragrance. A really high quality vanilla. All the other notes (including the dark chocolate) are there to compliment vanilla but stay quietly in the background which they do. Profumum Roma use natural ingredients and this really shows in Sorriso. It is beautiful. Focus on the vanilla and it will make more sense. Performance is nothing short of beast mode. There is plenty of bang for your buck here. It's also perfectly unisex. It's not a sugary sweet vanilla. It's quite dark, rich and enveloping like a fresh vanilla pod you have just opened to add to something delicious. Full bottle worthy for me.

Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory In a Bottle, you see this fragrance is the eternal charisma of chocolate, it lasts & lasts & lasts. Having this in my hand 18 hours later i can still smell faintly the mesmerizing aroma of chocolate dancing with my body. Musc & Vanilla are also faintly in the background trying to come up front, BUT the chocolate always wins. Have you ever dreamed like a kid to visit the Willy Wonka Factory? Well here's your portal to that realm, and its gonna last you a day on skin, a week minimum on clothes. The negative part of the fragrance? Its linear, but is that a problem to begin with? Diabete's in a bottle it is! 9.5/10

If Dulcis in Fundo can be called a magnificent orange dreamsicle, then Sorriso can sit beside it in the freezer as a magnificent Fudgesicle. It's a prominent, yet soft, cocoa on a creamy vanilla base, tempered by a touch of popsicle stick. I get no orange here (certainly nothing like Dulcis in Fundo). I find it gentle and appealing, something I would be happy to wear. I would be tempted to go for a full bottle if I had not already invested in Gourmand Coquin. Gourmand Coquin is *in your face* divine, while Sorriso is more reserved. They don't serve quite the same purpose, but it would take a budget bigger than mine to justify owning both.

This is something I would have never chosen to sample. Judging by the notes, this should NOT be my thing. Lucky Scent included this with my purchase, so I sniffed without expecting much. This opens with a rather boozy cocoa note. I am not really a gourmand fan, I don't really want to smell like food. To my nose, this is not foody although there is no missing the cocoa /orange notes. I also don't find this to be sweet, nothing like Acqua Zucchero's stickiness. This reminds me of Dead Sexy by Tokyo Milk, but much smoother and without that "sneezy" edge. This is a lasting comfort scent....and I just ordered my FB :-))

Very realistic chocolate! Smells like a melting chocolate flow in a luxury Dutch/Swiss chocolate factory with a slight hint of orange cocktail. Absolutely stunning! Everyone likes chocolate so everyone will appreciate you. Really beastmode. This thing compares to Carlisle. Just keeps going and pushing even after 24 hours. The Drydown, in this one's case after 8 hours, is similar to the one of Tobacco Vanille. Edit: If you consider layering, I would say that this one works. If you want a solid and noticeable chocolate base to a perfume and a few drops of this (very moderately) and you will get that effect!

There are many chocolate inspired perfumes, but this perfume is quite unique. It's not your typical "cheap, grocery store chocolate" smelling scent, but high quality, dark, delicious type of chocolate. It has also some woody and fruity touch to it. This perfume is for serious people who have quality and lavish taste. Sorriso is very long lasting on skin, you'll definetely get notice. Both men and women can wear this. It smell manly on men, feminine on women. Both ways. But I reccomend you to not blind buy this, try it first. You would love it or hate it.

Sorriso smells like the most luxurious and delicious dark hot chocolate, very creamy, with just enough sweetness. To me, the association with hot chocolate is so real, that is one of the truest gourmands I've tried. If I struggle, I do sense a bitter orange flavor, only up close, I don't notice it in the wafts I get from normal movements. The orange is not fresh, it's like a thick syrup made from the peel because it isn't juicy nor sweet. Dries down to rich, smoky vanilla with woody backbone. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 10/10 Projection: 8/10

One of the chocolate gourmand frag on the market. Imagine drinking a cup of hot chocolate with someone you love in a cozy cabin, sitting by the window watching the snow fall while having a quiet, intimate conversation together. That feeling is strangely peaceful. Quality: 10/10 ( for someone who loves sweetness ) Longevity: 9/10 ( 8-9h on my skin ) Sillage: 8.5/10 ( not to loud ) Versatility: 5.5/10 ( only good for dating/cold weather) Cost: 7/10 ( yeh it’s expensive but it’s worth 😵💫 ) Total: 40/50

I don’t like most gourmands: most of them are way too cloying up until the point of getting sickening, and/or come across as childish and cheap. Profumum Roma, however, just does it right with this one. After sampling it in a beautiful flagstore in Rome I was almost hypnotised by the dark boozy chocolate note that enveloped me with just the right amount of bitter orange that I had no choice but to buy it soon after. Heavy as it is, this never gets annoying. A gourmand for the gourmand-sceptic.

Best worn in the depths of winter when the air is still and quiet, just before it begins to snow. It's not your typical chocolate gourmand, the chocolate is dark and expensive. The vanilla is rich. The oranges are indeed bitter. This scent smells expensive. It pulls a little hazelnutty on my skin in the dry down which is gorgeous. I think the woody notes are possibly responsible for that. Performance is eternal, as with every offering from this house. Very well blended and worth every penny.

update: i used up my sample, and liked it more each time i applied it. perhaps the first time i tried it (after which i wrote my earlier review about the harsh plastic blast) was an off day for my body chemistry and/or for my nose. Luckyscent introd this one to me when they included it in my Anne Pliska order, and i'm so glad they did. Sorriso is a quiet, mellow cocoa vanilla, but not in an in-your-face cloying sweet candy store cloud way. bonus: my husband loves it. i just ordered a fb.

A dark chocolate indeed, a little bitter like cacao, delicious but beware, it's very potent. It doesn't feel like purely gourmand, as it has a great amount of patchouli and dry woods as well, especially in the dry down. The lasting power is very good. I prefer a bit sweeter, simpler and less sophisticated gourmands usually, but I think I will have to get a bottle of this. As it follows you around during the day, it's really unique and comforting at the same time and grows on you.

With a fairly good year of experience with fragrances I’m really happy with this scent I’ve never smelled chocolate milk in fragrances before and I did now It’s one of the best gourmands I’ve tried this year and buying a back up bottle for sure With excellent performance and quality it’s hard to beat What I found out this brands greatest creations are the dark ones this is one of them followed with fumidus If you love gourmands you should test it at least

Delicious, lush, warm, dark chocolate smell. Very well blended together with that rich vanilla, a little bit waxy. It's made of high quality ingredients, nothing plasticy in here. Good longevity, however I have some reservations about the projection... or perhaps I have just become anosmic to it. Hopefully not as this is an amazing smell. This is an ultimate Holy Grale for the chocolate lovers.

Sorriso is damn good! It’s totally unisex. I typically like sweet, feminine fragrances and after reading reviews, I knew this was outside the norm for me. It’s basically a chocolate scent that’ll get you tons of compliments. I do get a hint of sweetness, but not much. It started off soft and I feel like it gets stronger throughout the day. This is a gourmand done right! Full bottle worthy IMO.

It opens like Amaretto, it dries down like hot chocolate with vanilla and an almond touch. It can cause anosmia but you will receive compliment after compliment. Very good performances. On clothes, it will stay for ages. After a shower, it's like the discontinued Gucci for men, I suspect a ambroxan or iso e super base. It's a beautiful and different unisex gourmand. I can't detect orange.

Nostalgia. Smells like my mother’s hot chocolate after being out playing in the snow at Christmas time. I think it’s more of a milk chocolate rather than dark, also get a bit of caramel. The orange is definitely a background note. Don’t get much vanilla actually. I really thought this would be overly sweet before I tried it, but it’s really not! Love it.

Easily one of the most beautiful chocolate fragrances I've ever tried. Breathtaking. Beautifully balanced with the vanilla to make this a really lovely sweet chocolate that is more reminiscent of milk chocolate than dark chocolate. Delicate sweetness with a luminous, creamy quality. It's talking all my strength to not gnaw at my wrist. Yum.

This one is perhaps, my favorite out of all the Profumum Roma's gourmands. Having tried AeZ, Vanitas, Dulcis, Confetto and the Osswald exclusive Meringa. Like Dulcis, it has a synthetic opening but it quickly blends into a warm hot choco that stays all day. Update. The opening is very harsh though, I really wish they could tone it down.

Nice one for sweet lovers and book lover. What's the meaning of it? Book? What? Yes, if you wait 1 or 2 hours this smells like an old book smell in library. You open and smell the pages. This smells that. 4 or 5 hours later, you melt chocolate and pour on your neck or clothes. Sweet, gourmand, milky chocolate with light woodsy notes.

This is pure bliss. I have many perfumes with chocolate notes, but this is the one I use the most. It smells like chamallows: it's s airy, sweet and leaves a beautiful trail, without being cloying. It's a compliment getter, perfect as office scent in the cold months; it is also very persistent. This scent gets a 10/10❤️

Different, right of the bat dark chocolate melding into vanilla and orange with a woody background. I like it a lot and sillage/longevity is outstanding. More of a casual night fragrance than work or formal occasion. I thought it would be too sweet but the combo is just right. A keeper and one of my new faves.

I'm so happy I came back for a second attempt at this fragrance. It is much more than a simple chocolate orange gourmand. You can smell fragments of the orange tree. You can smell the environment around the tree. This is so good. I swear I don't know what I was on before. I have to have her.

The best Chocolate Fragrance I've owned and I have had four. Very high teir Chocolate accord that is a cross between dark and milk Chocolate, with a slight hint of orange. Powerful projection and room filling scent trail of a fragrance that is very light in profile. Absolute banger👍👍

Like strong cocoa butter smell...beyond intoxicating ...it doesn’t read as “perfumy”. ..it’s something that could be a body lotion, a sunscreen, a hair conditioner , a lip product, I think I need this in my life. 10/10 pure magic⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Man i love Sorriso. It smells like your in a cozy log cabin drinking hot chocolate during winter time. For me it smells much more like a milk chocolate rather the dark very caramelly. Very weak vanilla. The orange is also not very strong.

Truly a masterpiece. The juice is a bit expensive but hopefully my 100 ml will last for a while. Best worn in colder weather so the fragrance really can appear. It's A gem, and definitely something for the Gourmand lover.

I prefer this over Dulcis. This has a bit more character and class. The woody base sets it aside from just be another cloying gourmand. I am sampling from a crappy dab on vial and 8 hours later it is still going strong.

Not the typical chocolate gourmand. I was expecting a loud gourmand scent, however I find it a well balanced creamy powdery and delicate gourmand. I feel the bitter orange and the vanilla more than the chocolate.

Wore this today while relaxing in bed reading and having coffee. She noticed it and liked it, which is great because she dislikes many I wear. She could pick out the vanilla note, not so much the cocoa.

A rich, luxury smooth bitter chocolate tempered slightly by vanilla and enough by woods to be not truly gourmand. Performs well and lasts the day. Sorriso means smile or smirk.

It’s gorgeous. A perfect gourmand/any season/everyday scent. Might be too casual for office. I’m obsessed. It’s so easy and unique⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm getting a strong bitter orange for the 1st 30mins - 1hr... But after that, pure chocolate/vanilla butter.

I have to agree with b.gracious that it has a butter scent in there. This is also perhaps the most true-to-life chocolate note I have ever smelled. It isn't a sweet fragrance per-se but is cleary edible. Orange/vanilla creme, dark bitter chocolate, butter, and I would add that I get rare wafts of bamboo or something herbal-smokey to my nose that is out of place but not unwelcome. Beautiful gourmand but I'm questioning where so many people get 24hr longevity and beast mode projection? I certainly don't, and by a wide enough margin to question whether my decant is off or if other people are riding their own hype trains to exaggerationville. I have yet to have a Profumum last 12 hours on my skin in near ideal conditions so either the batches are wildly different, it performs wildly different on different people, or a lot of people are wildly overstating it's performance...you decide. Scent: 8.5/10 gorgeous, dense, edible, memorable. Longevity: 7/10 detectable as a skin scent past the 5th hour mark for me but can go a full night out without reapplication. Projection: 7.5/10 for the first 30 minutes to an hour or so. Drops to a 4.5/10 from hours 2-3 and down to a 2/10 past the 4 or 5 hour mark. Sillage: 4.5/10 Im noticing a trend with Profumum's that they seem to project well (at first) but don't have a matching sillage. Whether you find that to be a bonus or not is up to you. I wish it projected and trailed much more then this. Would I buy a full bottle: all my complaints about this considered...yes I probably will at some point. It is beautiful and knowing it won't go atomic on me is acceptable for how much I personally like the scent. Don't blind buy. Test it several times.

This smells like a dark chocolate pudding with a boozy vanilla sauce. Pure and simple. It is one of the most gourmand of all gourmand fragrances i've ever smelled. It's So velvety smooth and fantastic. Because it is So velvety smooth and deep gourmand, i personally feel like it leans slightly feminine. But it can be worn by anyone in the right circumstances. For a sexy 2nd/3rd date that could be a "sleep over" situation, this will be a winner in my book. No one will forget you after wearing this to a date (for good and/or bad). Performance is spectacular. ONE spray is enough. If you Know you'll be outside in the thick of winter, you could brave an additional spray, but test this by yourself before doing it for a date or party. It's hard to choke someone out, but i tested it with 2 sprays and actually got nauseous after 6-7 hours of smelling intense dark chocolate pudding with boozy vanilla sauce. It's early summer and not too hot, but it's So powerful. The scent is just too "sweet dessert" like for its own good. This is a Must try for any gourmand lover, and everyone who'd like the scent of chocolate pudding with a boozy vanilla sauce. You'd be hard pressed to find a more edible scent. I can't score this anything else then 10/10. Pure and simple. If you want a dark chocolate-vanilla gourmand fragrance that lasts from the start of the date until the morning after and then some, this is it. Just don't go crazy with the sprays/rolls. It comes with a roll on decanter, although you probably won't ever need to bring extra, unless you're planning for a weekend or more.

Out of my recent samples from this house I actually thought I might like this one the most. But in fact I think it might be the most disappointing. Although it wasnt a beast in terms of projection(which dont misunderstand this. As this like all others that ive tried from them, performance wise it did well)the first couple hours or so of this for some reason kinda put me off. I felt a little sick like it was to much, or maybe just the mix wasnt right. After it gets a little softer it was more enjoyable, but the entire time I just sorta felt like... "thats it?" like I was waiting for some big payoff that never happened. The smell overall was just ok for me. Nice but nothing more. Ive seen it compared to a few things namely... 1. cupcake I didnt get this in the slightest. 2. Chocolate/vanilla milk shake Sounds great but I didnt really get this either. More like perhaps just the froth or foam from one maybe. So you get a hint of something smelling good, teased a bit, but then you come in closer, and thats all there is. No great pay off. 3. Fudgesickle This I can see more so. As the bitter orange perhaps it is giving it a bit off a tingle/chill to the slight chocolate smell. Tricking my nose into thinking it smells like this... I get all the notes in this, although it is smooth. But none really stood out to me as being delicious while wearing this. And of course this is very pricey. For me personally for the main vanillas from these house I really think dulcis in fundo is the way to go personally. These others I just cant justify at least on my skin.

As a Profumum Roma worshiper in general I expected that I would love Sorriso. Although I do love Sorriso by the name, notes, longevity and sillage-wise, the scent was close to a disaster on my skin - unfortunately (lucky for my wallet though)! This altogether makes a bitter chocolate/orange as the notes indicated and I admit that the surprise is mostly on me because I had hoped for/and partly decided beforehand that this should turn out sweeter on my skin. If you are after a non-sweet dark chocolate mixed with bitter orange you're in for a real treat, because it's really true to that scent and it'll stay with you until you wake up the next day. With Profumum Roma you really get what you're promised and their scents are so damned potent - and sometimes you've gotta love a certain fume, and sometimes you just gotta leave it for someone else to enjoy. Nevertheless - I love this fragrance house! The outcome of Sorriso not working for me is totally fine, because now I can indulge and buy the next Profumum on my list - Dulcis in Fundo because that scent (to me) is to die for! <3 UPDATE: Tried Sorriso again a month later than my review above, and this time it turned out totally different! A lot sweeter this time around. It developed into more of a buttery milk chocolate with hints of orange. Pretty yummy and I sniffed my wrist quite a lot throughout the day. But all in all, I'm not sure if it's my style.

Upon first spraying, I get a rich, dark chocolate note that is slightly bitter and sharp. The citrus accords add a nice brightness that keeps the chocolate from becoming cloying. As Sorriso develops on my skin, the chocolate note becomes creamier and blends beautifully with the vanilla base. The overall effect is a warm, smooth, yummy scent that has a creamy, dreamy drydown. I really enjoy how the chocolate and vanilla play off each other. However, I do agree with some reviewers that the fragrance is a bit linear and lacks complexity. While the performance is good with solid longevity and sillage, I'm not sure Sorriso is worth the high price tag for what it delivers. It's a nice scent, but doesn't necessarily stand out as unique or special. Overall, I'd recommend Sorriso to chocolate lovers looking for a rich, creamy scent. But for the price, I wish it had a bit more complexity and development throughout the wear. It's a solid choice, but not a must-have in my opinion.
