Azur Lime

This takes me back to my roots in Italy. Yes there are more refined , long lasting fragrances from Italy but this is the truly authentic fragrance that you would smell passing by a barber shop on a hot Italian summer's day or entering the bathroom after your dad had shaven. Priceless.

This is one of three releases, thus far, in the Proraso Single Blade line. The other two are Wood & Spice and Cypress & Vetyver. Of the three, while nice and being a "like" in my book, it's my least favorite. It's fresh and clean with a lemon / citrus dominance. It smells very similar to Trumper GFT and the Art of Shaving's Lemon EDT. In fact, in my opinion you could get any of the three and have little variance - enough to where it doesn't matter which one you bought. If I HAD to choose among the three, it would be GFT, because it has better projection and longevity. Proraso's Azur Lime is average with both. Summary: A nice, fresh, clean, lemon dominant, citrus fragrance, which is somewhat generic, in as much as it could practically be a dupe for at least two other releases and possibly a third, resembling Tom Ford's Azur Lime. I can't comment on Tom Ford's Azur Lime though, because I've never smelt it.

I have all three of the Proraso colognes now and here's what I think. Cypress & Vetiver I place in the middle. Decent scent and longevity with sillage just okay. Wood & Spice is strongest with greater longevity and sillage, my wife likes, but I'm not keen on the scent due to it's inclusion of vanilla. Azur Lime, my favorite, while having lesser longevity and sillage, has a very pleasant "barbershop scent" which is one of my go to types of fragrances. These bottles usually run $36 each at C.O. Bigelow or elsewhere online, and I recently scored one for $30 on eBay. Best wishes!

#700 in my "Tour de Fragrance" As with millions of men, I've used Prorazo menthol and eucalyptus shaving cream and shaving soap. It's not really my jam. I find it irritating. I plan to try the sensitive skin soap at some point as I prefer to use a boar brush to apply shaving products. But I ran across the colognes, and they're very inexpensive, so I figured why not? Reminds me of Newt's Barbershop from when I was a boy. Nice lime and wood scent and surprising endurance for a cologne. Can't do better for $10.

Very nice cologne for the price. Citruses - the orange is not included in Fragrantica - woods, juniper, musk. Fresh aftershave feel without being too shaving creamy. Not the most naturalistic but not synthetic either. Projects for an hour or two, still present on the skin a while later. Given the price, a very good choice for a sports scent or after shower/shave pick me up. Spray on your shirt in the summer heat for feeling good about yourself all day.

This reminds me of the smell of the Italian barbershop in my hometown when I was young. It won't knock your socks off, but it's a nice clean citrusy smell. Very little longevity on me, but that's true of almost every scent I wear (I’m a warm person). The dry down leaves a clean smell but almost nothing citrusy on me. Bonus points for nostalgia, but points off for longevity and sillage.

Received as a gift from my beloved. Really nice barbershop smell and not too heavy at all (she wears the Wood and Spice bottle to match which is a lot stronger and, well, spicier on the nose). I'm not big on citrus, but Azur Lime moves quickly onto other notes that I enjoy better. Masculine and sweet.

Oldukça ferah ve temiz kokan bir traş kolonyası bu. Nane, limon ve ardıç karışımı sade ve basit. Biraz eski havası var ama bence temizlik vurgusu daha önce. Kalıcılık zayıf. Son yıllarda artan "agir" kokan kolonyalardan sıkıldıysanız bu iyi bir tercih olacaktır.

For the price this is epic dude. This was my first fragrance and tbf it got compliments, my gf loved it. Its just a rlly bright citrus but becomes a skin scent after like 1 hr

"What is this smells" "Somebody smells like moisturizer in here" "I guess its Álmos" I dont know what to make of thoose comments 😂

This is fine, but its the most underwhelming, compared to Prorasos other amazing products.

It's nice and all, but it really does feel like something you wear to the gym or use after a shower with shower gel. It's fresh, clean and sporty. More of a hygiene product than an "experience" I might be too harsh, because it is several levels above stuff like bodyspray deodorant, but subjectively it's boring. It reminded me of Adidas aftershave I impulse bought when I was younger and clueless.

Smells great! Lasts 30 minutes. It's extremely weak. Not worth it even if it's cheap. There are plenty of even cheaper fragrances that outperform this one. Scent - 6/10 Performance - 1/10

Super cheap and tacky opening notes. This is very barbershop and great if you're having a shave and need a spruce. The fruity notes are very much like those sprays they put on you after a haircut. The scented oil or shave balm would be amazing. Tbf, I actually did want that in my collection anyway. The value for money in this scent is in the dry down. I was curious about what a juniper berry note would be like and I can distinctly pick it up in this scent. The dry down is very very weak but it's still very pleasant albeit won't last for longer than 30 minutes. I honestly don't mind at £6 a bottle

I'm a big fan of Proraso. The red can shaving cream smells amazing creamy sandalwoody and the red aftershave is a very warm comfortable barbershop soothing perfume.The wood&spice is a synthetic version of Black Afghano without the animalic licorice smell with an outstanding performance. My favourite is this Azur Lime. The opening is a barbershop citrus lime with a touch of mint. Than the blue phase comes in but thank God without ambroxan but a light spicy juniper and patchouli and a soft musk in the dry down. The performance is subtle but not bad for a cologne. It lingers on and that makes it perfect for hot days, at the office or medical workplaces. And I payed 9,95 euro for this one and that makes me very pleased.

It starts as a fragrance from Acqua di Parma line , maybe pura or a hint of adp futura. The dry down is very interesting, I get notes similar to CK one , Porsche essence or even acqua di gio. Silage and longevity are moderate, nothing to much to expect from a barber line brand, but still pleasing as an office or gym fragrance.

Not the best fragrance if you want the smell of pure lime. Have tried better ones in the past, such as Geo F Trumper Extract of West Indies Lime. This fragrance doesn't last very long, but smells nice. More of a cologne to apply after the shower or before bed. Won't buy it again.

It's nice but actually mostly smells of strong mint and juniper berries. The lime is just an afterthought (though still very noticeable). Very pleasant but not as good as some other lime colognes/aftershaves. 4/5

Fantastic for summer.smell unique. 8/10 good performance for a Cologne.

Reminds me of Halston Unbound... At least the opening...
