Shali

This is absolutely not woody in my perception. It never has been. Not in summer autumn winter nor spring. It's way softer, resinous, balsamic and definitely powdery. It's such a soulful fragrance. I bought Shali by Provence et Nature some 7 years ago as a present for my mom in a little spiritual shop called the old path (translated) i fell in love immediately. I then researched the brand Provence et Nature online and ordered a bottle for myself from 'the French warehouse' a webshop selling all kinds of provencal artisanal products. When that bottle ran on empty in 2024 i wanted to order it again from the french warehouse but then saw they stopped selling it. I thought it was discontinued. But some time later the website of tfw also stopped existing. On the website of Provence et Nature they still had the perfume listed but i couldn't buy it there. Turns out they only sell to resellers instead of individuals. It was nowhere to be found and i was a bit saddened bc i adore this fragrance!!! (And a great many of my favorite fragrances have been discontinued) Now last week i looked for it again on intuition after spraying a bit from the 1,5 cm left in my bottle. And i found a store in the Provence with a webshop that offers Shali! Jay!!! So i ordered 4 bottles😅🫣 And i do not regret it for a second. These are the sort of fragrances that are hidden jewels. And it always speaks to me in a way no commercial fragrance can. Grateful!!!🌞🌟🌞

Another unknown gem of powdery iris and earthy patchouli and vetiver freshness that feels so warm and cozy at the same time. Another devotional scent to my nose. This falls in the same category, of effect on my being, as boswellia and jugala. Although they all smell completely different, they invoke that same higher devotional experience. (And i am not a 60's flowerchild! Just born in the 80's with no sentiments of the 60's) So inspiring and uplifting. Very fresh, green with a powdery drydown It's an eau de toilette that last surprisingly long on clothes, months after spraying it on a sweater, now hanging in the closet, the specific scent still greets me and invites me in it's regions of calm surrender to the beautiful mystery of life. Also, a beautiful gem 💚 Thank you provence et nature 🏵💮 Edit: 2024, so sad to see Shali seems to be discontinued! It is such a delicate, beautiful blend. Provence et nature made this a little bit right by launching a gorgeous set of scents containing one floral, spice or herb. But Shali had this familiarity, as if i knew it in a previous life. It was so perfect... i still have a tiny bit left i will very sparingly use.
