Jardin d'Iris

Wow! A delicate iris,a breath of fresh air and a wonderful arrangement of hydrangea and wisteria... this is a divine perfume, i love it! The Japanese iris is different,very beautiful.... this fragrance is very evocative. I must say that surprised me so much, i feel a peace and serenity when I hear this.. raises my soul and makes me feel good. Beautiful!!! Sillage: 7./10 Longevity: 8./10 Scent: 10./10 Overall: 10./10

This scent makes me feel like I stay in the Japanese garden with smell of iris, soft incense, and fresh air. This is the great one of calmness and sophisticated scent. The longevity and projection are really good. More than words to say I'm in love with this one. ^^

I love this. Make me feel calm. I get the vibe of making meditation in the Japanese garden. I get incense note in it which is light and make this one interesting.

Lipstick and Japanese incense. The iris note listed on the perfumer's website is actually Japanese Orris Concrete - and it's no surprise the iris here is very buttery, almost lipstick, and not the iris flower. The Kodo incense is also strong. These two notes (orris butter and incense) are the two main players. Everything else just comes to add a bit of depth and edges to the overall scent. It's pretty zen and unique but only if you don't mind smelling like a walking Japanese temple.

Metallic sweet apples & sea breeze. This is more salty than iris! as i matter of fact, i don't detect iris! it does have salty green notes, sea breeze, and ocean spray. It has water lily as well. This is more of an aquatic metallic than greens or floral, as it has hint of sweetness as well. No, not really a good one tho. Edit (26th June 2018) The colder it goes the leathery it become! like a slightly salty yet floral leather... or more likely rubbery than leathery.. like a floral leather.
