Animagical Woman

Puma Animagical is a flowery scent when you sniff the bottle or spray it on a piece of paper. Once you spritz it on your skin, though, you'll smell lemon and a hint of lime. The lemony smell isn't very intrusive or chemical. After an hour or two, the fresh scent will fade to make way for a sweet, warm aroma. I guess that's where the chocolate kicks in. It's a good smell, but only perceptible for the ones within your personal space. To be honest, the scent is so faint it almost smells like skin, but better. The sweetness of this perfume gets more and more intense, until an hour or seven later, when it fades away completely. I feel like this is a great scent for all ages; while the way the bottle is designed makes me suspect teen girls and women in their twenties were targeted in this scent's marketing, I think this perfume would compliment ladies in their thirties and forties as well. This scent is great for everyday wear, and there's a big chance I'll repurchase this.

Yum yum yum! This is delicious! Wonderful combination of things! I love it. It's terrific. Wild, exciting, thrilling! I love the papaya! And the Mexican chocolate - lovely and bitter and rich, and mixed with the fruit and flowers, and wood - it's really gorgeous! I really really love it. It's so unusual, and amazing. And it lasts well, and I've had heaps of gorgeous compliments from everyone! It's truly a delectable perfume. Very satisfying. Very energising. And comforting. Absolutely delicious!! Fabulous!!!! And actually, I love the bottle too! Great colours

My favorite perfume of all time... Affordable, youthful, different - there's just no bad side to this it seems. The scent lasts respectably long and has many layers to it. It's fresh and warm at the same time, sensual but also quirky. The male edition of animagical is very good too. Five staaarrss *****, 5/5

It was fresh, sweet, everlasting and expensive for a young me in early twenties. My husband had the male version in the same time as me. These perfumes complemented each other so well! And they were perfect for the end of of a hot summer in the city! Would buy it again!

I really like it. It's fruity and spicy, and very enjoyable. And I love the bottle. Such a gorgeous colour!!

I can't detect any of the flowers or fruit in there, and definitely no citruses there either, which means they must have been blended perfectly in the delicious gourmand notes.. for me it is gourmand from start to finish.. very smooth and cuddly, and downright yummy.. perfect for cold winter days when you just need that something to help you make it through the day (or season :))) PS. very reminiscent of Naomi Campbell's Mystery.. no staying power whatsoever, thought! I would use it happily if I get it as a gift, but I'm not likely to actually buy it.

I really like this one! A sporty, fruity and quite spicey scent that smells yummie! I mostley smell the citrus and the woodsy notes. The only bad thing with this fragrance is that the bottle is really ugly, but it's okay because that's not the most important thing ;)

I fell in love with this perfume when I first got it, a few years ago, and just recently began to use it again. It's a nice smell overall, a nice combination of sweet & fruity/citrusy, but it doesn't last long at all. On my skin it only lasts about 20 to 30 minutes.

Deospray: In my last review, which I have deleted due to this update, I wrote that it's "citrusy" but I don't sense that anymore. It reminds me of hairspray with an artificial fruity and sweet smell. Quite intensive which can cause headaches.

Animagical is a sweet fruity floral. I don’t smell chocolate in this, but it does smell sweet. It’s got a tropical sweet fruitiness, with some florals to balance it out. One of the few Puma scents I like.

Another wonderful fragrence from Puma! It's sweet, delicious chocolate is very strong. I actually don't like gourmand perfumes, but this one is nice:) You can use it in winter and also in summertime.

agree completely with Vattenmelon - this smells like nothing, but Create and Yellow are the truly gems. And yes, wit Jam on the 3rd place.

I can't smell much chocolate from this one, but I like it, it's more fruity on me. I think it smells like Arvil Lavigne Black Star.

A really delicious fragrance - but on my skin its gone after 30 mins :(

I bought Animagical in a kind of bad period of my life and threw it away later. It's really just a boring mess of very sweet and fruity notes, I don't remember any nice bitter chocolate note and also no specific papaya note or anything listed, really it's just a generic drugstore fragrance. I bought it because I wanted something new it was a little warmer and more intense than the usual affordable "sports brand" fragrances, but I guess those are generally not my style. - Update: I'm editing this 2016 review in February 2020 because it was one of my first and not very well-written. By now I already almost forgot the smell of Animagical, there is just a faint memory of something cloying and jumbled. Maybe I'm a little biased because I wore it in 2010, my least favorite year of my life so far. Still I don't think this is worth hunting down, there are lots of better fruit & chocolate combos.

I thought I'd test it, yeah, whatever. Actually there was one Puma that was OK - Puma Jamaica - nothing special, still OK. Animagical would be a good drugstore fragrance if it wasn't so thin. It IS thin and watery (water lily ;) ) but it's also barely noticed. Stays close to skin and has almost no projection. When I sniff hard, I may detect the freesia, lily, hint of chocolate and papaya, but does it really have to be so thin? It's fruity floral, not gourmand. If it was a gourmand one, it would be an extremely thin stewed fruit then. All in all: fragrance: 3,30/5 bottle: 4/5 in its sporty category name: 5/5 (it draws attention!) sillage: 1/5

I love Puma clothing and accessories and was pretty excited to come across this fragrance...but it wasn't that good! It's sweet, musky and overwhelming, not much depth. Guess I'll stick with the clothing! :D

Wet dog musk and vanilla sugar. Very sweet. Sort of similar to Lolita Lempicka. There is a nice violet note though, but the wet dog kills it.

My friend got it from her husband during their honeymoon:) I liked it a lot when she showed it to me, but four years passed until I finally bought it. It's an amazing scent, especially as for this "shelf". It's long-lasting, expressive, sweet but sensual - it has absolutely no animalic notes whatsoever (no wet-dog or any musk in particular) but still it does have a "wild" character. We had an awfully dry and hot August here and now there's a cold and rainy September that I'm loving but I had no good scent for this time - now I do!!! It's just perfect! The combination of bitter chocolate and fruit does not look good on the screen or on paper but on my skin it's just fantastic, I'm going to enjoy it a lot, in fact it inspires me to get a brand new image this fall!

I love this one so much. I wanted it so long, and I bought it some days ago. Fresh,sexy, sweet fragrance, not only for girls, I use it as office fragrance. Citruses comes first, but fortunately don't stay dominants. I don't like citruses, but they don't disturb me in this perfume. I would love more papaya, but I can't detect it at all, only florals among the middle notes. Lasting power is quite weak unfortunately, but I still love this delicious juice (but I don't like any other Pumas). Well designed and has a good price, I think it worth to have.
