Outside, the rays of light tell their story, through the half-closed magnolias. Slowly, she takes off her cameo earrings and place them on to the commode. Her tenuous shirt finds it's place in the wardrobe. While she takes off her clothes, she also takes off her "powerful woman" mask that she used to display in front of the world. Finally, it remains just her perfume, hidden in the hollow of her white neck and on her delicate wrists. She catches sight of a glimpse of her face reverberated in the window, the same from wich you can see the roses from the garden. Now it's just HER, the gentle, loving woman. The one that knows how to be a mother and also a lady, the one who knows how to give strenght to the ones she loves. She is the women with gentle moves and smooth forehead, released from the map of everyday worries. Her delicate body is crossed by a chill while her thoughts fly to the one she waits for. She anticipates his warm embrace, whispered voice and his ambery eyes piercing her soul while she will answer him back wit a warm, velvet smile. Puredistance I represents emotion, love wrapped up in tenderness. The perfume is as light as a flutter of eyelashes, smooth and creamy, without any trace of roughness. Puredistance-I opens ozonic, watery, and fresh, while at the same time giving a rich aroma of jasmine and other florals. It eventually settles to a sweet floral, with a slight wood-ish tinge. All the while, it maintains this very 'airy' note found from the start of the fragrance. Puredistance-I is very soft, sophisticated, and utterly feminine. All the notes are combined so softly and delicately. I really adore it, and recommend it to anyone who loves lady-like, sophisticated, perfumes. Very long-lasting as well.

I love the smell of Mimosa because it instantly makes me smile and reminds me of some of my favorite people of all time. While the quality of this fragrance is without question on the higher end of the spectrum the actual scent can be found in a jar of face cream. It does develop nicely and the Mimosa and tangerine play nicely with one another and i get hints of the Magnolia. Beautiful fragrance but not very unique.

I love this perfume pure and simple, I ordered the small test tube like bottle of it. It is difficult to describe what it smells like as everything is so well blended that individual notes do not take centre stage, instead what you get is something that smells like nothing else I have ever tried before, it has an almost ethereal quality to it, this would be worn by liv Tyler in lord of the rings.

This is a wonderful optimistic, citrus, white and yellow floral perfume, with as much sweetness as need in an ultra elegant and modern-classy fragrance like this one. This perfume is definitely perfect for any special occasion. I would suggest this perfume for wedding, opera, ballet, meeting with important persons, etc. And this perfume is not just really nice, but it also lasts all day.

I have a generous sample of this - you can buy it without the fancy crystal flacon too! Without the Swarovski, it's actually quite reasonable. This is truly beautiful, and to me it's very much like Chanel No. 5, without the powder, so I like it better. In fact, I just love it. It is abstract and cloud-soft, gentle yet distinctive.

Puredistance No1 is all about the dry down. It’s a delicate your-skin-but-better scent. A green mandarin orange opening with a lovely ethereal floral mossy dry down that wafts around you. People nearby may wonder where the nice smell is coming from. It’s a love for me.

My search for the perfect green floral is over, love it; it's fresh, abstract, natural and just beautiful! This is the sort of scent you want to wear as your signature perfume.

Puredistance I was the first fragrance from the house, created by Annie Buzantian, known for her creations for Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, Estée Lauder, etc. With 32% of Perfume Oil concentration (that’s exactly what you just read!), this Pure Parfum represents gala nights, luxury and elegance. The woman who wears Puredistance I is beautiful, natural and smiling, but doesn't like to call the attention or being the center of attention. If this occurs, is the result of her elegance and sympathy. The fragrance of Puredistance I features tangerine blossom, cassis, and neroli essential oil, in its top notes; Jasmine, Magnolia, natural mimosa and rose wardia (also known as the Taif rose or Damask rose) in the heart. In the base, we have notes of vetiver, white musk, and amber. The result is a scent of citrus output, with a lot of Tangerine flower presence as well as cassis, which surprised me. Then, goes to a typical floral, with great presence of mimosa. The rose, I barely could identify. The base is very good, with the predominance of the sensual tone from the musk, finalizing the feminine touch. As values the elegance, the projection is not the most important thing here. On the other hand, the lasting is worthy of a pure parfum.

I have no idea where I acquired a sample of this, since it's so obviously not meant for me, as I found out before even trying it. I looked up the Puredistance website because I was curious about this brand I'd never heard of, but I soon found out why: I was rebuffed by the kind of marketing that might as well have been a big red sign saying "keep out, paupers". "One of the most exclusive perfume brands in the world", the tagline boldly proclaims, and the outrageous packaging and even more outrageous prices confirm it. Duly noted - I'll leave this brand to the ultra-rich for whom it was meant. It's a shame, though, because as it turns out, I quite like the scent itself. It's very nice, although (forcibly) not nice or special enough for that price. I especially like the opening with its bright, fresh combination of neroli, orange and other white flowers: very natural and uplifting! It dries down a little more soapy, but bright white florals are the red thread: sophisticated and comfortable at once all the way through. And all very high quality of course, but then anything else would be a crime.

Puredistance were brave to step into the perfume industry with I, a heady fruity-floral far outside the norm in 2007. Whilst this is not a scent I particularly enjoy, I applaud them for having the integrity to release what they wanted, not what they thought the public wanted. It’s a lovely clean soapy white floral, it’s delicately airy and uplifting with a pronounced laundry detergent feel - but expensive. Orange peel, green leaves and the stems of these white flowers are present. It presents as a collection of plants as a whole, rather than just another bouquet of flowers. It’s rather pretty, is the word I’d use to describe it. It doesn’t pull me in or hold me captive like a lot of their later releases do, but it’s a solid perfume for those who enjoy this style of floral.

Probably the puredistance perfume that i like the less, but this is good because as his first perfume that means that they have just improved then. The smell is nice and the quality is very good but for me It is too simple: citruses with a soft magnolia...and not much more. I would say It is a powdery citrusy perfume, a bit dry because of the mimose. I see It as totally unisex and very versatile, although i would wear It at daytime. The performance is average. Leafy citrusy opening. I think I'm finding a trend amongst puredistance fragrances...they love their citrus openings. Floral mid that contains some atypical floral combinations which is interesting. Ambery drydown. The overall effect is a fragrance that is wet and humid. I think it's nice but not for me. -

I rarely write this, but the fragrance, to me, is bad. At first, you can’t really smell it — it’s very subtle, and the base notes are unappealing. I have a sample; I applied it to my wrist and forgot about it. Later, I started sniffing it, wondering what that unpleasant smell was, and then I remembered. I assume it’s the combination of vetiver and musk that creates this effect. Overall, it doesn’t work well on my skin at all.

Delicate sophisticated powdery Floriental. The perfume has a brief opening with orange blossom, neroli and mandarin orange. The heart is rose, jasmine, magnolia and slight mimosa. The perfume settles on a bed of vetiver and synthetic amber and musk. The feminine leaning perfume has moderate to strong sillage and good longevity. Quite lovely but not particularly exceptional and very pricey. Enjoy!

A bright, crisp, pretty floral it is, but I feel there’s something missing and it’s coming across generic. I should love this based off all the notes, but instead this feels like an unfinished composition, oddly uninspiring. I’m not transformed nor do I feel any kind of emotion when wearing this scent. In one sentence: it’s the nicest mediocre perfume I’ve ever worn.

I had a sample from Luckyscent. It is too complex and overdone for me. Like it is trying too hard. It does seem to be of very high quality, however. Not for me.

This is one of the calmest Puredistance perfumes in their collection. It is so delicate, it blends with the skin and creates a very natural feeling, it seems that your skin just radiates this amazing light floral scent on its own. At first, I thought that it was a typical citrusy floral scent that you usually get, nothing spectacular, but I guess all Puredistance perfumes have a tendency to change completely. And I truly recommend trying them on your skin not just on the blotter, because it becomes a totally different perfume when it plays with your body chemistry. I imagine you can put this on, wear it around people, everyone will wonder what is this beautiful smell, but no one would think this is perfume, that's how perfectly it blends with your skin. So the citrusy notes appear at first few seconds and then the scent becomes floral. On my skin, it turns a bit 'salty' like you just walked from the ocean and the sun starts to dry your skin, that kind of salty - very beautiful. I don't get any powdery notes so I guess it truly truly smells different on everyone else, and I really like this aspect. To me this is a luxurious skin scent, it is attractive, and inviting, I could not stop smelling my skin after I put this on. Perfumes like this you want to spray on your skin, not on your clothing. I am not sure why people mark longevity as moderate. Sometimes it seems that people mix sillage with longevity... Because the longevity is spectacular for this kind of scent - I was able to smell it on my skin the whole day so up to 12h. While the longevity is great the sillage is not so noticeable, it stays pretty close to your skin the whole time, maybe in the first hour it radiates a bit, but later it turns into a skin scent, although if the wind blows or you walk past someone very fast it seems that these motions tend to pick the scent a little bit so people can feel the perfume. I think it leans to the feminine side more. Could be a perfect and safe present for a person who likes lighter floral scents. A very luxurious skin scent.
