Once upon a time there was a far, far away kingdom in which fields were covered in roses, the sky was always blue and every single man or woman would have golden hair and opalescent white skin. The kingdom's name was Puredistance and the people living in it were called Whitesians. The sun was always shining in the kingdom of Puredistance and people were always smiling. The Whitesians had no worries and their world was filled with love and joy, but in order to preserve this bliss, once a month a Whitesian had to travel outside the Puredistance kingdom's gates in order to fulfill someone's dream of happiness. That was not an easy task, as ordinary humans easily gave up their dreams and wishes and were often feeling sad or angry. The big day came for Beatrix and she was ready to go out there, in the big, intricate world and make someone happy. She had her long, golden hair embellished with roses and her lips curved in a generous smile. The gates of Puredistance opened and she stepped outside, nervous but also excited to start the adventure. After a while, she found the sad human being whom she must make happy again: a girl, named Deidre who was sitting on a bench, sobbing, with her shoulders moving up and down. Beatrix, who, like every Whitesian, was invisible for ordinary humans, seated next to the girl and with her white, warm fingers, wiped the tears falling from Deirdre's eyes. The girl stopped crying, and for a moment she felt around her the most magnificent perfume ever: a warm and inviting rose scent, mixed with a soapy and clean sandalwood note. Her watery eyes became wider as she was looking beside her hoping to see where did the wonderful smell came from, but she saw nobody. Beatrix hair started to shine brighter spreading the heavenly scent all over the place, absorbing all the sadness from Deirdre's heart. The Whitesian came closer to the girl and embraced her, softly singing the song of happiness. Suddenly Deirdre was feeling better and began to remember all the good things in her life. A shy smile was begining to rise from within her heart. She closed her eyes and the perfume that was spreading around her started to feel more and more creamier. Deidre felt the need to take her shoes off, she wanted to feel the ground under her feet and just let go of all the worries. Suddenly an earthy hint of orris began to tickle her nostrils. She felt like the earth was absorbing her sadness and then, Deirdre felt free and...happy. She began to dance, like nobody was watching, like all her dreams could come true in an instant. Beatrix was proud. Her misunderstood human was happy now. Her mission was accomplished. She laughed, flicking her locks of hair, spreading the perfume of happines around her once more and kissed Deirdre's cheeks. It was time to go back to Puredistance kingdom. Deirdre opened her eyes and just for a moment, she thought she saw a glimpse of golden hair, leaving a perfumed trail behind... It's hard to describe what this perfume means to me. It has a special place in my life. I have noticed it at the time of its release, and I immediately became curious, because the nose behind this fragrance is Antoine Lie, the creator of Kenzo Parfum D'Ete, which was my favourite perfume that time. I had great expectations towards this fragrance. All perfumes by Puredistance are represent incredibly high standards, and unfortunately the price tag reflects this. They release a new perfume only in every 1 or 2 years, and use the most expensive raw materials. The work behind this perfume lasts more than a year, and at a certain point the concept was thrown back, because they felt they did not progress in the direction of things as they wanted. Then the final version was born. The positive vibe brings the wearer pure happiness, and helps to escape from harsh reality. Does it seem to work? Well, this question need to be answered by yourself. For me this is a caressingly silky smooth, infinitely peaceful and calm fragrance. I think it fits to a bit more mature women (over 35). If one word could describe this scent, it would be in "harmony". It's wonderfully balanced, you don't have to add or remove any component from this! It's very concentrated, it contains 38% perfume, it has slightly oily texture, which can blend with your skin smoothly and in harmony, mixed with your own body scent. A single spritz is more than enough, it last all day in a super intensive way. After 12 hours it's still detectable. Incredibly expensive, but only a small spritz need to applied. I admit I gifted myself the smallest bottle when I realized one of my biggest dreams: I was on the top of Europe after the successful summit of Mont Blanc! I have been eagerly waited for this moment for long-long years, and this perfume was one of my secret desires either. White and Blanc is a winning combination, so I dare to reward myself with this 'fume. I am proudly wearing Puredistance White as it symbolizes an important moment of my life. After years, I've finally reached my goals with hard work. I was crying when I stand on the top. That happiness! Real, honest, pure and childlike happiness. This moment is bottled in this perfume. An olfactive photography of it. I am blessed to be the part of it!

So far this seems to be a trickster perfume. It starts off pretty unremarkable. At first it smells like bitter bland mature powder and musk. I almost felt nauseated by it. I was getting really disappointed, but was already warned to let it dry down before forming an opinion. Then I gave it an hour or so to dry down. It turned into a musky powdered rose. It’s a modern musk. It’s not a base of Jovan White Musk. It’s a soften version of the musk in Juicy Couture Gold Couture after all the notes have burned away from 8+ hours of wear. The powder is minimal. It gets really creamy. I guess that is the difference between iris and orris. The rose is there but it shimmers between the vetiver and bergamot. It’s hard to sniff and focus on the rose, but you can catch it only if you glance. There is something that smells refined about this. This makes Amouage Dia smell garish and old fashioned. If you like Jadore Voile de Parfum and Chanel Paris-Venise, more than likely you will enjoy Puredistance White. I need to test it more, but this could easily be a signature scent. Update: I forgot to mention to not blind buy this. I’m not even talking about the price. I have sprayed this on my mom twice and it smells like two completely different fragrances on our skin. It’s sweet, creamy, delicate and clean on my skin. On her skin it is very powdery and not sweet at all. Sample first. It might develops differently.

Thick makeup powder, slightly sweet touches, a soapy and clean feel. Even if this DNA isn't groundbreaking, it's always versatile and desirable because it holds the luxurious and the pure together. The scent is surprisingly long-lasting, and I was even happier because it reminded me of Body, which I wore and loved years ago, since we have such lovely memories with that one. An ideal thing for daily wear, suitable for the office, suitable for daytime gatherings too. Every edge is polished, with a balanced structure where no note steps out of line. The patchouli and woody base are there to add depth, but the overall composition sits entirely in "luxury face cream" and "soapy lotion" vibes in my opinion. The opening reminds me of A lá Rose by FK, with its musky rose announcing its presence. However, it is a deliberately unconfronting yet assertive, subtle, feminine, quietly classic perfume. At first, when a lá rose came to mind, I thought no big wow. But I was wrong. Not long in, it morphs into something quite extrodinary. The orris and tonka come to play with the musk after about 10 minutes in, with the rose barely still there, as she has quietly receded to the background. I can smell patchouli only just. I’m quite befuddled how Lie manages to harmonize all these players and turn it to such a romantic and beautiful scent piece. It is definitely not a linear scent, is ever changing its tune and never boring. I thought the price was just too fancy at first. I was humbly chastised. I may consider purchasing.

This is one of the BEST sweet & flowery perfume i have tried. Innthe middle a mis ofnflower with roses and iris, so very powdery. This flowers are over a sweet basement of sandalwood and tonka Bean, with some Green creamyness due to the vetiver. To the dry down the musk get more influence giving a very long Life to the fragance. The performance is good, very good longevity and moderate projection. It leans a bit more femenine although i feel good wearing It, but if you are a man i recommend you to try It. Weareable for daily time but also a bomb for nightime. A very lovely fragrance. It is immediately obvious it is a musky floral but it has a fresh, rich, creamy, vibrant quality about it. Clean and white! ha Lots of musk, some rose, very smooth sandalwood and the cool effect of orris root. There are definitely good quality ingredients in this and I should think so considering the price. It smells expensive. There is also a sort of cosmetic smell about it as well which is probably down to the orris root. It might actually be a touch too musky for me although its a clean form. Moderate sillage and long longevity.

just perfect! Musky, cosy, clean, soft, skin scent, this is just perfect for signature i imagine its easy to wear with everything and i would love to make it a signature so people could recognize me by it. Smells high quality, decent longevity but its a soft close to skin scent on me, i dont expect trails of perfume behind me and thats ok. A spray ( yes, one spray) lasts on me all day. I would love to add it to my collection some day. p.s. Few months later -I have it.

From the Puredistance discovery set I bought White turned my favorite. Floral, creamy, semi sweet, elegant, rich. Superb longevity with moderate sillage in the first 15 minutes and then skinscent. Fortunately patchouli in here is so good blended that I don't notice it at all. The only "but" is the price, too much for me. I would love to have a fb of White but it is just too expensive otherwise it would be my signature scent. I will wait till I find a good deal :).

I’m crazy about this scent. I was curious but also a little sceptical about price, but now I can justify this 🥸 also I don’t buy full bottle, first 2 ml were enough for few month. I always do 1 spray of perfume, and White stays on me for veeeeery long time. On my clothes basically forever. Very gentle scent, it gives me vibe of a confident successful lady, it’s somehow cozy, clean and sexy. Also it doesn’t remind me any specific perfume.

Perfectly composed, blended and brewed, high-end quality of rose (not sharply but you feel that the queen of the flowers is here) and musk. Soft, clean and bright. Unfortunately so skin scent, weak sillage and very overpriced... Definetly recomended for a bridal fragrance; does not disturbs does not tires anyone. Luxorious, gracefullness and elagance. One of my favorites at top 5, for me a real artwork, a masterpiece.

WOW! and I am NOT a musk lover. This is amazing. So so comfy, fluffy, comforting, soft and delicate. On my skin I feel soft musk and some tangy fruits (something like rhubarb or black currant). This could be a bridal scent. A newly mother scent. Gorgeous and intimate. As you know, musks need to be tested on skin, so do not blind buy this. The price point just kills me... The quality is uncompromisable.

The sillage on this is no joke. White no.6 beat my Montale Arabians Tonka & Ristretto Intense Cafe. This perfume has been overpowering them all day on my skin. Long story short: this is the most elegant, uplifting soap fragrance I've ever set my nose on. It's a really creamy soapy musk that smells modern and bright! Instant love at first sniff for me & I dislike musk heavy scents!

This perfume is so perfectly blended. It is truly a masterpiece, hard to imagine better perfume than this one. Otherworldly beautiful. The most beautiful angels could smell like this. Innocent and powerful in the same time. Unforgettable scent. Very long lasting with a perfect sillage. Since the first time I tried it I still longing for it.

Yes! This is stunning . One of the most elegant , sophisticated fragrances I’ve ever smelled . It’s very powdery and the sandalwood gives it a masculine edge . But it’s oh so gorgeous. It last for hours and hours so spray lightly . The only con is the crazy price. But it’s so good that I’m thinking of purchasing the smallest bottle of it.

I wouldn't change anything about this perfume, if i had a bespoke scent this would have been the end result. I have been gravitating towards cosy, musky, soft florals, feminine and comforting scents, this is spot-on. Perhaps, i would change one thing after all - the bottle. It doesn't do justice to this beautiful perfume.

It's 100% a straight out of the bath perfume. It's not particularly adventurous but it is completely gorgeous in a very clean soft way. I don't even like clean/soft perfumes but this is the best one I have tried and will wear it after taking a bath--it's a wonderful perfume when staying in and having luxuriating me-time.

A lovely clean, powdery and elegant perfume. For all the seasons, all the ages, very delicate and poetic. More for woman, I really love this perfume. The main problem? The price! I can smell: musk, rose and iris. Perfect for the office, at home, for a brunch, all seasons, etc 10/10, in my Top 5!

Maybe the whole magic of it is that it somehow evokes happy visuals in your brain - whatever "happy" means to you? To me, this smells like white, clean, crisp, stiff cotton sheets dried by the sun and the wind on a beautiful October day.

Beautiful combination of rose and musc, aethereal yet persistant! Great longevity and not tiring at all, the sillage is strong. All season investment in my opinion. A Love!

There is a comment I replicate on a very few select perfumes: "Yes, there are many fragrances like it, but this one is the best". White deserves its praise.

Absolutely love this one! It’s so innocent and pure

Got a sample because the reviews were great and the notes/concept seemed perfect. I'm pretty impressed, but this still isn't for me. As a positive, this absolutely does smell elegant and sophisticated! The sillage is especially gorgeous. It reminds me of white powdery light, like something a Disney movie protagonist would wear lol. It whips around in the air, coming back strong just when I thought it had disappeared. The scent just keeps getting better and creamier as it dries down. Longevity is also insane, as expected from a musky fragrance with 38% concentration. A tiny bit that got on fabric kept wafting even the next day. As a negative, this has unlisted heliotropin, which I'm personally hypersensitive to. It smells of annoying metallic almonds and gives me a headache. The same thing happened with Amouage's Reflection Man. It's another clean white floral with amazing reviews and an even bigger heliotropin dose. I also can't shake the association between this and a hand cream my grandma used when I was little. Granted, this is a 100x more sophisticated smooth fine fragrance version of that scent. But it's still like I'm wearing my grandma's hand cream. The combination of rose + iris + musk + sandalwood is unsurprisingly quite a common one, so you may find yourself with similar associations. Other reviews have cited Target body cream and Australian mosquito repellent. If you love musky fragrances, I think this is a must-sample. If everything goes right, you'll be in for something special!

Very feminine, soft, elegant, demure, understated, pearly scent. From the category of "Pure Poison"- like perfumes. Beautiful, versatile. Cleanest and very well rounded roses, musk, orris and sandalwood form an abstract feminine scent, which definitely holds a color white. It smells so cozy, soapy, comforting and pure. Absolutely lovely, but it doesn't in any way seem like a perfume for such a price, nor does it perform as a perfume for such a price. It's definitely a luxury item, a true luxury item, if you will, as it is so very well made and unassuming, but worth only for those who can't be bothered paying so much for something so modest.

I wanted "a dream" full of happiness in white but for me it never really lived up to my expectation. Don't get me wrong it is a beautiful parfum and I would certainly wear it again but it would not be my first choice if I had to choose a floral or rose parfum. I desperately wanted WHITE to "brighten up the moment and warm up (my) world inside" but instead it left me overcast and luke warm. A everyday perfume not special occasion. For 38% perfume oil I expected more. I look forward to trying the rest of Puredistance's collection.

Smells like a clean musk...like fresh sweat and clean laundry + baby powder and the bottom of your mom's makeup bag....It smells elevated and intentional, and simultaneously "lived in". Complex but not over the top, not trying too hard. It isn't the scent profile for me personally. It also suits more middle aged- I wouldn't describe this as a particularlu youthful scent. If you're into clean/powdery, you may like this one ...!

The rose here is so beautiful, it's like sticking your nose in a fresh bloom of lush petals. Unfortunately there is not much beyond that beautiful rose, White seems to be a fairly linear and dare I say standard combination of notes. I wanted something elevated, but I strongly feel that I could find a very similar fragrance for not nearly as much money elsewhere. Pleasant, just not captivating.

This is amazing. White florals on a base on amber and spices. Opens: meh. But after it dries, it becomes a dream. Beautiful white floral your skin but better skinscent. Musky, clean and romantic. Perfect for winter. It stands out from the crowd. I would snap it up if I were rich tho. -

The opening is sour and balsamic but then as is dries a soft fresh powderyness comes through, that is clean and subtly sweet. I imagine this is how Vagabonds Swan Princess might smell like, elegant, white and soft.

Another subtle powdery rose with other florals and woods in the under/overtone. That's what this house does best I guess. It's not bad. Leans femme.

White is quiet. It starts with a fresh citrusy floral with lots of white laundry musk, and then goes sunnier and softer, with a hint of the fruity pink rose that shows up in a lot of Puredistance compositions. a few minutes in, it’s distinctly rosy: a pale-pink, tender May garden rose. gradually it gets warmer, deeper, and richer. It’s still blanketed in white musk, but I do enjoy this phase. and then finally it settles into more white musk with a vague beige “perfumeyness” around it, still citrusy, still soft and light. I’m starting to become a decided Puredistance skeptic. They’re marketed as fancy niche stuff, but the scents are often harshly synthetic, and sometimes a little vulgar or generic. White is perfectly fine and pretty, but not very distinctive. It’s a lot of “clean” synthetic white musk and very light on everything else, apart from a brief rose interlude.

Bergamoty musky scent with some soapy floral heart. Smells comforting, fresh and clean. I can understand why people can like it, because it’s kinda fluffy and easy-going but it’s still on a soapier side of musk. Meh.. smells like body lotion. Any target body lotion ...If youre into that type of fragrance, I will say this is well done with no synthetic sharp fragrance notes. Its very smooth. But allllll I get is boring body lotion sorry :/

Love the scent on first whiff then it goes downhill for me. I, so wanted to like this fragrance because there was a 40% discount on all Pure Distance fragrances at my go to Perfumerie and this was my chance to own a bottle . It’s really weird , it’s predominately citrus based on my skin , the silage is weak and the performance is very mild . Very surprised at other reviews. Overall it’s a very pleasant , soft , close to the skin scent with a light powdery touch to it . The citrus powdery scent is all I get , and this smells too close to an insect repellent we have here in Australia 😩. So disappointed that I can’t get past that impression . I don’t like Opardu by the same fragrance house and the others sound too spicy for me so it’s a sad no to purchase a bottle whilst it’s on sale . I look for quality ingredients in a perfume but unfortunately , I can’t justify its price .

A pleasant happy but unexceptional Floriental. The scent opens with notes of orris and bergamot, moves to a heart of rose and patchouli and settles on a base of tonka bean, vetiver and synthetic musk. The feminine leaning scent has moderate to strong projection and good longevity. The only thing exceptional about this perfume is the huge price tag it comes with. Enjoy!

This smells like a trophy wife: a tall, aloof woman in a white pantsuit, with tasteful but conservative gold jewelry and a perfect ponytail. It’s a very proper rose and musk scent and it smells like high maintenance.

Opening is a strong musky powder- reminds me of my great grandmothers heavily made up face.

I must have a dud decant. 5ml bottle from Scent Split and smell almost nothing. Multiple sprays and all smell is the slightest hint of baby powder. In fact, actual powder would have more fragrance than I’m smelling. This has happened to me multiple times with other decants from them & other retailers too. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s just something with my own sense of smell. I can’t smell some fragrances yet others I smell just fine.

Puredistance sent some samples to bloggers and journalists around the world, before the official launch at the end of March, in Milan, and I got one. This Pure Parfum Extrait, sold in 38% of Perfume Oil concentration (the biggest among all the creations of the house) took a whole year to get ready and used, in its formula, the best and the most expensive ingredients available. The inspiration was the happiness, in all its forms. The creator was the perfumer Antoine Lie – responsible for the fragrance of Puredistance Black – who accepted the challenge of putting inside a bottle, a perfume able to create a kind of escape from the harsh reality experienced by a woman in her daily routine as a mother, wife, professional, etc. In its composition, notes of May Rose from France, Tonka bean absolute from Venezuela, Orris absolute from Italy, Sandalwood from Mysore, Bergamot from Italy, Musk, Vetyver from Haiti and Patchouli from Indonesia. This is a women's fragrance, even for those who believe that a perfume shouldn't be labeled by gender. On my skin, it resulted in a floral-musky with great presence of roses, especially in the initial moments. First, the fragrance creates a euphoric effect. After a while, it becomes more engaging and relaxing. In this stage, creamy and surrounding nuances of tonka bean and sandalwood became noticeable. Unfortunately, on my skin, I couldn't feel the presence of either bergamot or vetiver. I would say that Puredistance White is designed for women of all ages and types. Its fragrance will please from younger to older. Its scent is chic, yet current. One word describes it: sophistication.

A delicate beauty that starts sweet and powdery and morphs into a translucent rose that manages to hold you at a distance but still remain a very true rose. White is interesting because it smells very perfumey, but that connotation makes me think of really strong and pervasive perfumes and this is anything but that. It’s gentle, it’s pretty, there’s nothing loud or sensual or brash in this. This is like a first communion perfume. It reminds me of little girls in white dresses. Very appropriate for grown ups to wear also, especially if you have a day you need to feel in touch with what is pure in the world. White has intimate sillage and lasts about 6 hours on skin.

Opens up with a rose and a distinct promise of sandalwood. It then picks up with a creamy musk and a more floral note too. I can see this being worn on a fine summer's evening. Nuances of vetiver darkens this scent at times, coupled with sandalwood, which lends it to the masculine side of the spectrum. Overall however, it is quite a good scent to reflect confident femininity. Is it a winner? I am not so sure, especially when we do consider the price. I suppose on the right person who really loves this, this can be an absolute killer of a winner. My female housemates absolutely love this.

OK, the quality is there. And It is purely the quality of the materials that elevates this musky floral above the countless pretenders and wannabes. It is that same quality that harmoniously renders this beautiful blend a feeling of creamy dreaminess, and yes, milky happiness. It almost pumped water in my eyes. But will I pay 300 euros for 60 ml. of a musky green floral? No. Will I pay 175 euros for 17.5 ml. of a musky green floral so exquisite it almost made me cry with joy? Maybe. It’s the “almost”. ****(*)

A pretty but generic modern floral. White is a good name for this fragrance; it has that modern "clean" personality. Pale, sweet, and slightly spicy. Pleasant but tame and common - although I can't remember an exact dupe trust me, you can get this same kind of fragrance for much less money elsewhere. The rose de mai is very nice, though, and the ingredients do smell luxuriously expensive. An excellent choice for people who have the money to buy expensive perfumes but don't actually really like perfumes.

Unoften classic, mid aged lady type, recognize the florals quality. Definitely childhood home bringer, so nice, used to adore the flower blend in this as a kid. It's that right there with the upper level ingredients, sheer amazing. Half hour in, switches lane, keeps some of the non sweet floral aspect and proceeds with an almost different classic floral setup. Half way in, very pleased with the twelve piece samples set.

La la la... I may be in love! This is an exquisite, elegant creature. The fragrance is contemporary and refined, a seamless blend that accompanies you through the day as a tasteful vapour of loveliness. It smells both clean and expensive.
