I own and like queen latifah's queen,the red one and I find it warm,boozy,classy and cozy.unbelievable quality for it's price.I didn't know what to think about queen of hearts by it's notes.incense,patchouli and spices aren't among my usual favorites and it's almost nowhere in my country,when I found a 3.4 oz for 27$ I couldn't let it go and now I'm here with another great job from queen latifah Queen of hearts is exactly what I expected and wished belle d opium to be.it's all about cinnamon grounded by smokey patchouli,spicy amber and vanilla.it's so well blended that non of the notes shadow the others.spices are grounded so there's nothing sharp here and it's warm and sweet balsamic base,prevents smoke and spices to make it manly..it's mature and complex and has a personality but it's also soft,inviting and pleasant.to be honest it's nothing you'd expect from a celebrity perfume or a cheapy.I find both queen latifah's perfumes more complex,unique and expensive smelling than 80% of more expensive ones from high end brands It's the first day of me with this perfume so I can't talk about it's lasting power or people's comments about it,I just know that I like it and it worthes much more than it's price Edit: Stays for 5-6 hours on my skin and alot more on clothes.sillage is more than moderate,almost huge at first but it gradually reduces to moderate,all in all projection is acceptable,better than lot of expensive perfumes and it IS a compliment getter mostly from perfumistas and my +35 friends,I think mature noses can appreciate it's beauty more As mentioned before most of it's dominant notes aren't my faves but I love cinnamon and amber and vanilla and it's more about these notes on me.lots of cinnamon in a resinous, balsamic base,delicious and warm and inviting, a little dark,but also soft.it reminds me a softer organza indecense which I love A lovely fall,winter scent, very different from the red one but both are warm and mature and I truly appreciate their presence in my collection ❤❤❤❤

This is the perfect perfume for the season. Tonight, she's going to shine, and her message of love and strength is exactly what's needed. She hit her target with this, and if you think you're going to like this, you're likely going to love it. For its price, this voluptuous royal is top shelf. "Commands" is the perfect word for her, as Apathy Angel said below. The Queen of Hearts commands. The moment I smelled her, she reminded me of LE BAISER DU DRAGON (KISS OF THE DRAGON) by Cartier. Smells so similar, I'm shocked the Dragon isn't in the slide show of "reminds me of", up above. There is a difference, The Queen is much more respectable in her ways, she just blows you that kiss. She is a lady, afterall. She's up there with my fairest lady, ORGANZA - INDECENCE (vintage/original formula) by Givenchy as far as that whole showcasing her powerful, "je ne sais pas" bathed in spice, rich oils and smoke goes. These are some of my favourite perfumes. They stand alone on their own shelves, but The Queen of Hearts sits on her throne amongst the other perfumes on the "Alice In Wonderland" shelf. She was a much needed addition to my little collection, and she was so AFFORDABLE! If only she would last longer.. These are the kinds of perfumes that make you wonder, "what other gems are out there for us to discover and experience?". Makes you want to shout it from the roof tops - "Come! You must smell this, at once!" But hesitant to share your secret, lest the last of their kind be picked up and gone forever... Yes, those other gems are discontinued and getting more difficult to find, so their prices are absolutely absurd. Blessed be! Long live The Queen of Hearts... I never thought I'd ever own this fragrance, I love Queen Latifah but I wasn't aware of her fragrances. I was so extremely lucky to find a lovely lovely woman on kijiji selling a bunch of perfumes for peanuts, bought a full size EDP of Sofia by Sofia Vergara and Queen Latifah Queen of Hearts 100 ml for 30 Canadian dollars total, she even gave me some samples! So lovely. So, obviously, I was off to a good start with this little pre-birthday gift to myself :) Now, I love oriental/balsamic/aromatic fragrances (a bit like Tom Ford ones), but I always look at them like a child looks at their mom. I often feel too young, I have a babyface, and I just feel like I am wearing something outside of my personality and looks. I am a very simple, no make up, natural blond hair, a college sweatshirt and a pair of jeans kinda girl. Yet, sometimes I really long for that incense/balsamic potion kinda perfume... I owned Nirvana Bourbon in the past and loved it, although longevity was very poor, but finally gave it away as a gift since I didn't use it much. I wasn't ready to invest a lot of money in a perfume I wouldn't use that much, but this one was so cheap I gave it a go. So glad I did! Queen of Hearts smells very sexy, aromatic, balsamic, and unisex to me. This can definitely be a man fragrance, it reminds me of my dad's oils from the United Arab Emirates that he uses after shaving. This could easily be a Tom Ford or Amouage fragrance and I'm sure people would actually buy it. Yet this can be found for extra cheap. The bottle is also very nice and appropriate for the scent. I really love this and it's perfect for those cold mornings when you want to douse yourself in something cozy. I love this one. I hope to try Queen soon. Edit: finally remember what it reminds me of!!!! Noir Extreme by Tom Ford!! Maybe not exactly but that same sweet boozy sexy vibe.

Just received this today, originally wanted her 1st one but got this one when I found it sooner. Still plan on getting her 1st, especially now. I could tell I would probably be pleased based on some of my favorite notes being in it (musk and amber). Yes I am a guy, just a disclaimer. I pretty much only wear female or unisex fragrances due to both an allergy and, well simply put, cologne smells bad on me. I learned this when I was a teenager and got into my Grandmother's White Diamonds, and was the "rave" at school from all the compliments. Something about my chemistry turns almost any of these scents into a male scent for some reason and have never once been accused of smelling "Feminine" and always produce shocks when or if they discover I'm wearing something labeled as "A women's fragrance".. (Of course flowery/gardenia/strong powders ect are exceptions). When I began air testing this, passing it slowly and letting it air out, doing some face passes and finally some skin tests. I was blown away. Smoky indeed! This one just took me away into some night time moon light escapade on the shores of Bermuda or something. The notes that stood out on my skin, even after several hours were the musk and spicy incense. The fragrance was very warm and felt like I was wrapped in a sultry balmy night. I found it rather exotic and perhaps even a little "Classy erotic". I really am glad I tried this one, and cannot wait to try her 1st fragrance. I'm always slightly afraid of Patchouli but it did this one no harm, the light top notes provided initial whimsical freshness, but quickly settled into it's darker mid and base notes. Though not a fan of her music/genre, I adore her as an actor in almost anything she does, I had a feeling she could produce an amazing scent...I was not disappointed.

Oohhh wow... this fragrance is beautiful! I bought it for practically nothing on Ebay. I had read reviews that compared it to Jessica Simpson's Fancy Nights, and while I am still on the fence about whether or not I like that one, I loved the idea of it. Queen of Hearts seemed like a logical buy, and for the price I couldn't say no. I have to say that I instantly liked Queen of Hearts. While I could sense the white flowers a little bit, the scary sharpness they sometimes bring to a fragrance was tempered by a lucious plum and just a bit of smokey incense. I also really liked the patchouli in this. The cinnamon added some spicy body to the fragrance, but it wasn't TOO spicy. Best of all - this fragrance is ALL female! It is full bodied, confident, beautiful, not unlike Queen Latifah herself! This perfume really is gorgeous. As I just got it and have only been wearing it a few hours I will most likely have to update later with more details, but let me say that for the price if you are thinking about trying it, DO IT! It is entirely worth it, IMO. PS - for a great review comparing Queen of Hearts and Fancy Nights, scroll down a bit to sherapop's notes on the fragrances - really good, and helped me decide to give Queen of Hearts a go! Also showed me that it might be the papyrus note that gives me trouble in Jessica Simpson's perfume... :) UPDATE: This may very well become one of my favorite perfumes!! It lasted for hours on me, and even longer on clothes, and it has such a beautiful, lightly sweet vanilla-amber drydown with just a memory of the smoky spicyness from the beginning. (BIG bonus for me that the amber doesn't overpower everything!) Fantastic. I might even go buy some back up bottles just in case, since they are so inexpensive right now. :) LOVE LOVE LOVE

I smell my childhood when I spray Queen of Hearts. Something in it reminds me of the past. Some distant holiday season where cinnamon, smoke, vanilla and my mom filled the air. It seems fragrances DO hold history. This one does...for me. Queen of Hearts is a bit thick and heavy (in a good way) to me. I can feel the weight of the notes around me. Given that, it's surprising it's not suffocating, but it's not. It's wonderfully warm and comfortable. I'm not sure there's another fragrance with a better cinnamon note. This one is by far the best I've experienced. The cinnamon adds a little spice to the vanilla, making it more interesting than the typical role it plays for me, which is to soothe. The incense is one of my favorites as well. It's sweetish and smokey but not dark. I smell less amber than most voters and the patchouli has a late arrival. Now the plum, that's interesting. It's more pronounced on some wearings than on others. Occasionally, it's as clear as if I were eating it. Other days, distant and barely impacting. For the life of me I can't figure out why, but I'll take it! Two distinct fragrances for the price of one and love them both. I believe my mother would have loved Queen of Hearts as much as I do. I know it's the cinnamon and incense playing tricks on my psyche and tugging at my olfactory heart strings, but I don't mind. Tug away...

Luckily, I am a bottle hoarder or this morning's discovery would have never happened. I bought this around 3 or 4 years ago for around $11 and when I first got it I was not a fan. I found it dry and void of any sweetness. I found ways to use it by mixing it with creamy, cupcake vanilla fragrances to round her out or to grow-up the cupcakes. I can't usually be bothered to mix so she went in the back of drawer until this morning. I was doing some research for a friend when I noticed that this was listed in the "this reminds me of" section along with others in my collection...I scrambled back to my room to take a sniff...and HOLY WOW! My nose is smelling something completely different than before. I still find it to be "dry", but it's spicy, slightly sweet, and very sophisticated. I don't feel that it is a dupe of Noir Pour Femme or Organza Indecence or Epic Woman; but, similarities are there and I am so glad I have this in my collection! As expected my my nose has matured so much as I have taken the deep dive into this fragrance hobby. When I first sniffed this I found it to be dated (very mature lady from the 90's to my nose). Now that I am a mature lady in the 2020's it is a hit. Yay, Me!!

As a lover of the original Queen in the red bottle, I was impressed enough to want to own this one as well. The very first time I sprayed this on, I was a bit taken aback. It smelled mature and masculine in a vintage way that I didn't think I liked. I thought it was going to be one of my rare, unsuccessful blind buys. Thank goodness I didn't give up on it. I came back to it a few days later and tried again. This time, I smelled the most warm, rich, fruity, boozy, smokey, spicy, ambery scent--and I couldn't stop smelling my wrist. I'm not sure what changed, but I do think that the very first 5-10 minutes of this fragrance can sometimes come off as overwhelming. If you had the same experience as me initially, give it a little time! It morphs into a warm, intoxicating beauty that as others have pointed out, has much more in common with expensive niche quality perfumes than most celebrity mass market scents. The bottle is also heavy and feels substantial and luxe. This is wonderful in fall and winter and the dry down is heavenly. Spray it lightly on your clothes or a favorite sweater and come back the next day and you'll want to bury your face in it all day.

I don't smell anything except amber... pretty intense too. No other notes come through. At. All. Think I'll layer this with other scents. I prefer the original just cuz I like sweeter scents, but this is a fine scent, just not on its own. If you like amber, you'll love this. Later: Okay, tried this as a standalone scent and also layered it. Stand alone, the amber is a bit much for me.. but as I already stated, if you like amber, you'll swoon over this stuff. As for layering it... Yeah! NICE... I like to add it to scents that are not ambery and wow... by the end of the day, guess who still stands out? Yup... The Queen. Nice longevity. I thought about it and decided that when it runs out, I'll probably get another. Just for the layering aspect. Later, Later: I sprayed on Dior Addict today and its dry down amber that lingers is a dead ringer for Queen of Hearts. Dior Addict has more "oriental sharpness" upon initial spray, and Q of H stays pretty linearly "amber" from top down... but that amber note in one is spot on with the other... twins I tell ya!

Wow just wow. Ok, I given away/sold so many perfumes, searching for my fragrance "dream team". Hello delicious! My collection is officially complete. This is going to be my winter signature for sure. I LOVE CINNAMON. The cinnamon here is perfect. Lovely and strong and spicy, as it should be. Combined with the incense, it is so warming and comforting, while at the same time being so sexy and yummy. Definitely smell the patchouli, definitely the vanilla and frankencense. While the red Queen is too seductive, in my opinion, for daytime wear, even though it is my favourite for night time (and day or night I actually rate it better than this), Queen of Hearts is the epitome of daytime oriental perfection. If I could only have bought this, and Queen, and my olfactory time machine Sunflowers, I would have gotten away with having an amazing fragrance wardrobe at a crazy and tiny price. But hey, I have learned, and today I am riding the Queen of Hearts wave and I'm loving it. Now, to wait for winter in Australia <3

There's a very good reason why Queen Latifah's scents are classier and more mature than other recent celebrity fragrances (which fall into "sweet fruity," "sweet floral," "sweet fruity-floral," "vanilla," or "imitation of one of the trendy sellers"), She has been around a lot longer than the celebrities in their 20s. She's been popular a lot longer, and her following consists of mature, classy ladies! This scent is stunning. I adored it when I smelled the cap. I adored it more when I sprayed a card. And Wearing it makes me feel sexy and classy. It is light, and much more than the other one, but that's a good one. This one can be worn all day, every day. Every season, and any time of the day. It's sexy enough for evening and classy and light enough for daytime. I simply cannot say enough good things about this perfume. I only regret I got the small bottle, so I'll be getting the large one when this one runs out. This perfume is hands down a better perfume than 75% of the expensive perfumes out there, IMO.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise!! I blind bought this based on reviews, and found it at an amazingly low price...this is honestly the best scent I have for the money! It starts off a bit sharp, but mellows out within about 20 minutes...2 hours later it has weakened substantially on my skin, but still there smelling up close. I'll probably spray this once on my hair and once on my shirt to see if that will help it hold longer. I'm not great at identifying individual notes--but this scent is really great! It's sweet without being TOO sweet or young...just enough sweetness to make it yummy, and just enough spice to warm it up. This really smells like a much more expensive perfume. I think this scent is perfect for fall! I would wear it during the day or night...just apply it more liberally at night. Though this isn't one of my top 5 favorite fragrances, I'd say it makes top 10! And for the price, this gets a LOVE from me!

I'm stumped. I tried it yesterday and there was absolutely nothing masculine about it. Instead, I smelled a very strong but really nice warm bouquet of white florals. After two hours or so, when I got to the drydown, it was really lovely because it got a little mellower. It still retained that white floral vibe though. As a fan of both masculine and cinnamon notes, I'm actually a little disappointed. Although the white florals were really pretty, I do hope to get something different next time I spray it on... But if I don't, it's okay too! UPDATE: Okay, I'm wearing it to bed right now, and it's completely different from the last time I wore it. The white florals are still there, but they are in harmony with the soft, sweet woody base notes. The cinnamon is only detectable when I press my nose against my skin, but it's lovely. This smells so much more expensive than it is, I'm falling in love! 4.4/5

I'm a big fan of the original Queen in the romantic flaming red heart bottle. I finally blind bought a bottle of Queen of Hearts. First spray is very woody and dry. Evolves into something smoky sprinkled with dark cinnamon. There is something green/floral in here. It reminds me of a niche fragrance that I cannot name. I agree that Queen Latifah's fragrances are much more interesting and luxurious than most celeb fragrances. I prefer the original Queen over Queen of Hearts, but I truly LOVE that one, so it would have been hard to beat. Queen of Hearts is still a very well made fragrance. Update: Continues to evolve over several hours. Ends in a slightly dusty, arid incense cloud. Good staying power. Once again, very different from the original Queen. Now that I've had it on for a while, I don't think I would ever use this while I have the original.

It smells DEAD ON like creamy bar soap. It's fantastic first thing in the morning when you want to smell squeaky clean and shower fresh. It may not have been what I expected, but sometimes, what you don't expect is even better - and that is the case here. I *love* to spray this on first thing when I wake up, but before I shower. It's an amazing instant, lovely, creamy, musky, instant-clean smell. I may not wear it all day, but it's the bomb right out of bed. Yes. I'm having a lazy morning. Why, no, I didn't shower, but you can't tell, because I smell like Queen. :-P UPDATE: I'm big on reviewing safe perfumes for migraine sufferers, so I'll note. This won't *cause* a migraine. However... if I have even a slight headache brewing, it will set one off. Like comedy, timing is everything. Wear wisely.

Queen Of Hearts isn't your typical celebrity perfume and has an almost niche-like complexity (reminds me Mona di orio Vanilla a bit).I could really pickup cinnamon,incense,patchouli and amber,a darkish spicy-fruity undertone,a hint of musky florals and something like a smokey vanilla.Queen of hearts is a great blend of spicy,smokey,balsamic and herbal notes.I remember that it's drydown was softer,sweeter,less incensey and I liked it more than it's almost unisex opening Very good longevity and projection and a sophisticated,multi layered scent Eventhough I believe it's a very good perfume,it was not my type(as Mona di Orio vanilla isn't my type),I gifted it to my best friend who has a more sophisticated taste eventhough she's younger than me.happy that it's in good hands now

Queen of Hearts = Queen of Layering for me! I am quite a fan of spicy fragrances so a little cinnamon and incense would never put me off... in fact this scent is almost "middle of the road" for its genre, a little too sweet perhaps and a little too well behaved. What I have found that Queen of Hearts really comes to life when you spray it over a heavier fragrance. I have tried these as base and QOH on top and the results were amazing: YSL Opium, Rochas Femme, Cinnabar, Youth Dew, Coco Chanel... you could probably do the same with Revlon Ciara or Dana Tabu as well. Try it out and your Queen of Hearts will turn into a sultry grown up Queen :-)

This one's a pretty good celeb scent. I get lots of plum, amber, cinnamon and incense. There is something a bit wood polishy about it but then at one point it made me think of a homemade plum wine. It is the perfect autumn scent for the season of mellow fruitfulness. Warm, juicy and enveloping. The berries and floral notes come more to the fore with time. Yes, a cheap fragrance that manages to develop. The cinnamon, plum and incense always stand firm though. I think it would suit any age group really. It's not a sweet girly scent. One to wear when you are likely to get embraced. They won't want to let go lol

I have been wearing this for years. It's beautiful, feminine, and is the absolute perfect scent to me. I smell the vanilla (deep and velvety) and cinnamon (just the right amount of spice) and cozy amber. The jasmine dances around in the heart. The olibanum and incense comes out an hour or so into the dry down. It's blended so perfectly and is an absolute symphony on skin. I'm still shocked this is a celebrity fragrance because it smells niche to me. The fragrance that give me similar vibes is TF Black Orchid (done a bit more harsh to my nose) but really nothing comes close in my opinion.

This is an underrated fragrance and smells so amazing. Though i don't smell any cinnamon, this last all day and stays on your clothes. A little bit goes a long way. I blind bought this because the queen fragrance smelled so fantastic i had very high expectations for this one and when i received it, i was not really impressed from the first spray but as it dried down i fell completely in love with this fragrance and i could only imagine what Queen Latifah's other fragrances would've smelled like if she would've continued to release fragrances and this review is coming from a guy.

Jasmine, cinnamon, and a slight fruitiness. Mostly just smells like walking past a jasmine trellis in bloom. Definitely a more mature perfume, probably too mature for my age but I'll still wear it anyways. Got it to wear for Christmas, expected to smell more like plum but it's still beautiful. I think my friend's mom wore something like this when I was small. Edit: After smelling it when it's a lot cooler outside, I definitely get more cinnamon and plum with the jasmine.. perfect since it's Christmas Eve and that's what I wanted! In sub 60F weather it's at its best.

Perfect for Autumn/Winter..spicy and intense but without being too heavy. I tried this next to Madonna ToD Naked and they are "similar" in that they have that balsamic vibe and a slight intoxicating warmth but I think Queen of Hearts is not as sweet but is also somehow softer and easier to wear. I get Nutmeg, mixed in with the cinnamon and incense, even though it's not listed, and on the whole I really like this and almost can't wait for colder weather so I can wear this during the daytime rather than just in the evening, as I am at the moment.

I got this perfume a few days ago for $9.00, what a steal!!! It starts out a little sharp, but pleasant, but then it blends into a creamy sweet oriental fragrance. This perfumes smells luxurious and even thou it is an oriental I find it to be soft. I am really in love with it. Great Job queen Latifah!!!!!!! Edit: I have been wearing this parfume for the last week everyday to work. I really do love it. It smells sophisticated and womanly but not too sexy that I can not wear it to the ofc. I have acactually gotten complements of it.

I just received this in the mail today, July 23rd. This is a replacement or my almost full bottle that has a non functioning sprayer. Grrrr. I sure hope this one works the way it should, because I adore this fragrance. When I opened the package, the the fume smelled strongly of celery salt. So I put it away in a cool place and brought it out later and sprayed it. It was fine, but it sure had me scared. Don't really go for celebrity scents but this one is so well blended and sophisticated I cannot be without it. Love it!

I was looking for my Queen Latifah this morning....it has been cold in Sydney. Couldn't find it, but i did find this one...."Green Latifah" as i like to call it because of the aqua bottle top detail, and to distinguish it from the other red bottle. I have not worn either for a few years. And i am loving this today! It is slightly warm, without being overtly spicy. I am keeping this one out and at hand, because Green Latifah is going to be featured a bit in my perfume wardrobe this winter.

I bought this blind off fragrancenet, but in a sample bottle... it didn't come with a cap. If anyone has a cap for this lying around, I'd love to take it off your hands! Thanks! P.s. this smells like Cartier's Kiss of the Dragon, but it's more like the dragon is blowing that kiss as it's not nearly as intense... it's a lovely scent indeed, and perfect for fall! I've wanted it for a while and found it cheap on that site, so treated myself as an early birthday present ;) I love it!

I like the smell very much but 1. it doesn't last very long (2 hours, bearly 3) 2. it is VERY subtle. So, because I really like it very much, I have to smell my wrists continuously! :( I wonder... how can be people that find this perfume strong. I like its woody edge very much, it's a very dry and natural patchouli note, not at all medicinal, gorgeous, I like that it's not sweet but it has a hind of vanilla. It's sophisticated and quite dark, it's also suitable for young women.

first spray....warm spicy, gentle, comforting....gentle spice and soft flowers. This has a soft sillage. The gentle cinnamon keeps wafting up to my nose....lovely, feminine....a bit of lime to keep it fresh. Very nice.... safe yet different kind of fragrance. I will get to know it more throughout the day but if you are looking for something different, not too flowery and a great price then this may be for you.

Oh this is gorgeous. Such a warm, rich, decadent spiced amber scent, cinnamonish but not overly so. Queen of Hearts is not a dupe of Givenchy Organza Indecence, yet it is along the same lines as Indecence. Much as Queen is along the same lines as Angel. I love Queen but I think that I love this fragrance even more. I can see wearing this both day and night. Smells much more expensive than it is - Love this.

Clean and Spicy! At first whiff I thought of some European spiced soap that I had awhile back. This is so different from any other perfume I have in my collection. It is rich and deep and full of incense and spicy goodness! Don't over analyze what makes it so rich and full bodied, and womanly, with just a touch of dark mystery. Just breath it in, and enjoy! Sillage is great, as is longevity.

One of my favorite scents of all time. The smokiness, the amber, the plum, the light spice just go together so effortlessly in this fragrance. This is not your typical celeb fruit-bowl fragrance. This is a mature adult fragrance by Steve Demercado (i.e. Escada, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs). It is soft and subtle, yet noticeable. Longevity is okay. I get about 4-5 hours on clothes.

Another favorite of mine that I have been wearing since it came out!!!!! I'm currently on my 2nd bottle! The touch of cinnamon is the perfect spice with this incensy/smoky floral & hint of plum......I find this long lasting and perfect to wear in the colder months..you could definitely wear this in the warmer months if you use it lightly. This is always a repeat buy.

I had a craving for this today. It is so comforting and has an ethereal presence. It reminds me of "Fancy Nights" by the same nose (Steve De Mercado) and one that i have also grown to love. It has moderate sillage and longer lasting than I had thought previously. I love its soft edges. Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a fragrance. This is a definite love now.

Yummy spicy goodness! I bought the Queen of Hearts 3.4 oz bottle in a gift set for $14.99 on sale at Burlington Coat Factory. Queen of Hearts smells like a combination of Dior Addict and Marni as it mixes with my body chemistry. It makes me feel like I'm sitting in front of a fireplace with a cup of hot tea during Christmas Eve after baking goodies all day.

Gorgeous, just as impressive as her debut "Queen". Plum, cinnamon, and incense are most dominant to me, and they are combined in a a manner that makes it feel almost niche? It's a bit hard to describe, but it's as sweet as it is complex. The olibanum is spicy, and confers an extra layer of something special to this scent. Highly recommend.

This scent commands the room! Sexy, Sultry, Get me Bodied, Power~Boss! The way all of the notes melds into my skin is absolutely beautiful...I am in love with this fragrance. You don't have to break the bank to smell divine, but you have to be open to different possibilities...This is a Full-Size $9.99 Winner!

All I can say is WOW! This opens with a burst of sweet patchouli then softens to an amazing golden spiced honey on me. I couldn't stop sniffing myself! I got both Queen and this one at the same time. I love both of them. They smell very different from each other but both are wonderful! :)

olibanum first and foremost; resinous; then with a little plum fruit lurking, lots of patchouli, some musk with layers of vanilla, amber, incense; lovely and niche; wore it again in the summer and got more of the cinnamon note

I tried this today at Macy's and I was blown away at how awesome it was! I love this scent. It smelled like liquid gold to me...very warm and vibrant. I would love to get a bottle of this yumminess!

This is such a cozy, spicy and somehow soapy and sexy fragrance after it settles in. The opening is just ok but the dry down is oh so nice! I spray away bc it is light but also inexpensive. Love!

Queen of Hearts makes me happy all day when I wear it. I love the spicy, tempered sweetness and the plummy amber. So delicious.

This sample must be at least a decade old, but here goes nothin... I think this is an unfortunate oversight, because I don't think I ever knew about this or "Queen", and this is actually a decent celebrity fragrance! I don't recall ever seeing these anywhere, and nobody I've known ever wore them. I can't understand how some celeb fragrances were home runs, and some deserving ones became forgotten, this is decidedly one of the better releases to my nose. QL's other fragrance is in a red bottle, but I think this should've been red as well (or maybe deep purple). I *emphatically* agree with the assessments that this smells like rum raisin ice cream or raisin bread, it absolutely does! The cinnamon is very gourmond and tasty, alongside the plum (which smells more like raisins, truly). It's sweet, ambery, and yet doesn't become too heavy. What I appreciate about this, is that the vanilla doesn't overshadow everything. In many mainstream perfumes, vanilla is in large doses and can drown the other notes. We had (hopefully might be coming out of) a very vanilla-centric era. The cinnamon here is the most prominent note to my nose, and it's a refreshing dynamic. Patchouli is actually pretty strong in this little number, and patch+spices is right up my alley, this is quite pleasing in the drydown. It's a little resinous too? I smell myrrh, even though it's not listed, but I'm not acquainted with what olibanum should smell like, so I guess that's it. I don't really get a true "incense" though, but this is thick enough and I don't think it even needs it. As I smell this, I am reminded of the mid 2000s, there's something about this that just kind of has that 2000s mall smell (I dig it, I was a 90s baby). It almost makes me a little homesick for those times... I'm glad for the ephemeral, treat that this is, although I'm not considering hunting down a bottle...I would've named it 'Rum Raisins, and Resins' 😘

Some time ago I received a sample of this and thought it was really classy, like Latifah. The impression I got was that it was warm, sweet (but not too sweet) and mature, so I decided to buy a full sized bottle. The price was right (under ten dollars for a 3.4!), the bottle is really cute and I said, "hey, what do I have to lose?" Well, what can I say? There's a difference between dabbing a bit from a sample on your pressure points and a full-on spray down. The first spritzes really surprised me. It smelled like champagne and pancake syrup, and I didn't pick up on that from the sample. Hmmn... okay... I've tried it out a few times as my "scent of the day" and I can't quite get comfortable with it. Frankly I find it slightly cloying. After experiencing it further I think the real problem with it (for me anyways) is it's a bit muddled. Obviously with a woman like Latifah you're going to want to make a more sophisticated fragrance, sultry rather than overtly sexy, etc. When you get a whiff or two of it, you can detect the nose behind this (Steve de Mercado, who also came up Jessica Simpson's wonderful "Fancy Love") was going for that. But it ended up smelling kind of like an Avon mainstay. Although Avon has a few great picks (like "Haiku" for example), they have a bunch of weird ones. Not horrible, mind you. Just kind of... off... So after I use up this bottle I won't be repurchasing. To be sure, it's not "awful". And yes, I do recommend blind buying this (you can't go wrong for ten dollars). You might have better luck; perhaps all it takes is a certain type of body chemistry to make it happen.

I blind bought this and am really happy with it, as well as impressed that this is such a great scent for so little money. I usually avoid celeb scents like the plague but this has so many good reviews and I LOVE cinnamon (honestly, why aren't there more cinnamon fragrances out there?) that I just had to try it. I'm so glad I did! Anyway, it is soft, warm and spicy while still retaining some slight sweetness to take the edge off the spices/patchouli. I think this one is about a thousand times better than the original Queen which I didn't like at all.The cinnamon in this one shines through beautifully and the vanilla is a perfect balance between sweet & smokey. QoH reminds me a little bit of Hermes' Elixir des Merveilles; it has that same wintery cozy cuddly blanket amber feel. Like you just wanna spray this on and cuddle up in front of the fire with some hot chocolate. My only real complaint is that this scent is very soft. You really are going to have to pour it on if you want anyone else to be able to smell you. Longevity is also pretty poor on me (I have longevity issues with most fumes, but this one is particularly bad) and it lasts only an hour or two. But whatever, the price is so cheap I don't mind filling up a decant and reapplying :) Oh, and as a side note, I think the bottle is adorable! The little heart on the front and back is pushed in on one side and pushed out on the other (kinda hard to describe what I mean but it's super cute.) Scent: 8/10 Bottle: 8/10 Performance: 5/10 (average but whatever, scent is gorgeous)

Queen of Hearts is an awesome treasure that can be found for a great price. On my skin this fragrance is predominately floral. Mostly a clean jasmine mixed with juicy ripe plums and a dash of red fruit. These florals are supported by richer notes that are that give this a sweet and spicy vibe. You smell the florals and fruits but in the background there is cinnamon which keeps it from being just another floral fragrance. Slowly as the day goes on it finally hits the dry down which is my favorite part and the reason why I purchased this fragrance. A lovely blend a friendly patchouli which is of the cleaner variety, incense, a slightly dry amber, and frankincense. Its a long lasting and not overwhelming. I find this blend to be comforting and relaxing to my nose. Even though this fragrance leans more to the sophisticated side I find it to be an easy to wear fragrance. Since it is lighter than other fragrances I own that a somewhat similar. If you enjoy incense and frankincense give this fragrance a try. Its the reason I did and I happen to enjoy this one more than I thought I would.

Blind buy gone very well and i am usually very picky. This was just as good as I had imagined, and easy to wear which is a bonus for me. The price is nice and the bottle is lovely. That much for advertising, go and buy it. Just kidding. it may not be your thing but i love it. I smell spicy vanilla here mostly. It opens with slightly smoky and bitter spices, mostly cinnamon and then goes to fruity floral vanilla. I am usually careful with vanilla based scents because I find them often too sweet for me. I am not spicy scents kind of girl either because I find spicy scents too much spicy most of the time (which is no surprise, right?). This one is a nice blend to me, vanilla that isn’t too foody or too sweet and cinnamon which is not so bitterly spicy. I am not going to say this is very different or very complex. It is rather lovely not complex and linear scent. There are probably many other similar around here. but i say it is easy to wear, lovely vanilla spice blend which smells very good and is not expensive at all. A love to me.

Hmm, this a very lovely fragrance with plum spice and everything nice. LOL! In the opening I get a light blast of cinnamon that is just right and deliciously plummy. From the mid notes to the dry down there is something warm, creamy and opulent that reminds me of a silkened honey with jasmine petals crushed into it. Even though honey isn't listed, that honey like phase and that is what I like most about Queen of Hearts. It doesn't smell typical of a "celeb" scent, it isn't too heavy and it lasts very long. Trust me! You do not need to drench yourself in this! LOL! I also prefer this one to her first because it is more wearable and not as sweet, boozy or heavy. This would work well in every season except for maybe the summer. But if you walked thru a light mist you could pull it off. PS: The cinnamon in Queen of Hearts is nowhere near the level of cinnamon present in L de Lolita Lempicka. I owned L and trust me there is no comparison. o.O

When I first sprayed this it reminded of another fragrance and I couldn’t figure it out at first, but then it hit me....it reminded me of MFK “Grand Soir”. I did a side by side comparison to double check and they are very similar to me. Now they do not smell identical, but I definitely notice similarities. They both are balsamic/warm spicy oriental scents...GS being more sweet spicy and QOH being more spicy sweet with a hint of floral. For the most part both scents stayed the same from beginning to end. GS turned a bit softer and sweeter with a hint of spice as it dried down whereas QOH was lighter on the sweetness(still sweet) but more spicy as it dried down. Also QOH is a louder scent...even after dry down it was still pretty noticeable. GS started out strong, but turned softer as time went on. Both scents have good longevity too. At the end of the day this all still boils down to your own body chemistry.
