Bois de Santal

Going through a sample back of scents from Quince doing one a day and even if i dont like the scent I will be wearing and respraying the days scent throughout the day to give each one the best chance to fall in love with them. This is my scent for the day. and omg this is an insane fragrance. First i am hit hard with a scent of incense and that is one smell I can't stand and gives me a headache. BUT I had faith it would get better as it developed. It didn't change much but has greatly died down. I am sad about that. Quince please work on getting these to last and project i am begging you, your scents are good. Its such a wild and strange scent and even with the hippy like incense smell its so strangely addictive and I have to have this. This would be perfect for fall and winter and i can easily see this becoming a top favorite scent. OMG I am in love with this, I don't even understand. This scent is not me AT ALL. I am sold and need a bottle of this now. Heart broken...After 10 minutes the scent has completely vanished from my clothes (and i sprayed a lot on it) but its lingering on my skin and hair slightly but barely. Will probably be gone in a few more minutes. I am gonna cry, why??? I want to cover myself in this.

She really wants to be No.04 by Maison Louie Marie, she's doing a great job. Dusty amber with a light wood in the base, with bright purple florals and fresh-spicy cardamom floating on top. Has a desert at night quality to it, what I Imagine Mojave Ghost by Byredo to smell like.

Wish this could be something unique, but it just smells like Santal 33 to me. No Thank You
