1 Million Black

Love at first sniff. I was able to purchase this early on Harrods, not sure if it was a mistake but they've taken it down since the day of my purchase. The roasted pineapple and Vanilla are an amazing combination throughout. This combination also gives give a bit of an coconut smell as well, its not overpowering, just a hint. Then in the later dry down, you get a beautiful dark ebony wood to combine everything. Its sweet, fresh and dark all at the same time. I wish I would've gotten the 100ML instead of 50ML it's that good. A cologne that definitely gives you confidence when you spray it. I was originally going to get Erba Gold, but this one is significantly better.I Also got 3 compliments with this one within the past week, 2 from friends and one from a coworker (2 females and 1 male if that matters to you). I've been selling/gifting most of my collection as i feel my fragrance journey is slowly coming to an end, my coworker told me to DEFINITELY keep this one. This will be my signature scent for a while until it starts to get really cold. As i stated before, as i feel my fragrance journey coming to an end, ive found most of my collection being designer. Not to say niche fragrances arent good, because a lot of them are amazing, but i've realized designer fragrances are popular for a reason, to put it simply, they just get the job done. My whole purpose in getting into fragrances was because I wanted to smell good, and designer fragrances do that extremely well and this is another prime example. Amazing smell, signature scent worthy for most occasions and seasons. I predict this will be one of the best from the 1 million line. Lucky and Prive (I own prive) have cult followings online so it will be hard to argue with them, but this will be easily loved by the general public. 9.5/10 for me with great longevity and projection.

It's fun to see all the bots, haters and paid haters come after this fragrance for some reason. I just got my bottle direct from Rabanne. This fragrance is amazing. Perfect in every way for me. The Charred pineapple at the top is super realistic. Then the creamy high end vanilla starts creeping in slowly to lul you into its more gourmand adjacent side. While all of this is happening, the woods that remind you of a high end woodworking shop lay in waiting. I loved 1 million night elixer but agree it's more situational or season specific. I wear it anytime I want because im nuts but most will follow directions like good little NPCs. But this 1 Million Black is special. It's definitely masculine, warm, creamy, inviting, fun, wild, all of the above. Rabanne is sitting on top of the market smiling after this one. If you dont add this to your rotation, you're either a hater or boring. Unfortunately, this will most likely be taken by the club bros and overplayed. But I'll still enjoy it and so will everyone around me. It's strong but not overpowering. It lasts longer than night elixer. And that stuff is nuclear. I smell night elixer for 2 days after I wear it. EVEN AFTER A SHOWER. And if you spray your clothes, it's there for life! But this one seems even stronger, if that's possible. Amazing!! 10/10....!! Rabanne has become my favorite brand by a mile. Invictus Elixir is a signature scent beast. Phantom in Red is a freshy with a spicy twist and I love it. Now. 1 Million has Lucky, Elixir, Night Elixir and the daddy, BLACK!

Black is a solid release that has resemblances to Lucky, Phantom, Le Beau and 1 Million (OG) all blended into one fragrance with a nice infusion of candied pineapple, woods, vanilla, and musks. 💯 The dry down is where Black really shines as it starts to exude a smooth, sweet, sexy, masculine, woody, vanillic, musky, gourmand and fruity vibe. Black is a nice to have fragrance but certainly not a must have fragrance as the 1 Million line has become rather generic these days. Although, I suspect Black will become quite popular over time due to it's sexy dry down. 😝 I would also consider Black being the top three best 1 Million releases to date: 1. Prive, 2. Black, 3. Lucky 🔥 🔥 🔥 Overall: 8/10

Great scent. I just received it two days ago in the US strong pineapple sent drives down to a vanilla pineapple, roasted pineapple in the opening. It punches hard for a good two hours and it still sticks around on skin after eight hours a great flanker, but I will say for some reason it smells only on the dry down like Invictus absolute with that strong pineapple and vanilla scent smelling good. A solid 9 in my book

Absolutely incredible!!! Was fortunate enough to receive this early in Australia from a pharmacy that had stock. Wow, just wow. Photorealistic pineapple scent similar to lucky but more punchy and juicy. Super strong scent by the way, be very careful with sprays whole living room just smelt of this for ages will update on performance soon.

Batch code: 61541 - Manufactured on 3/6/2026 in Chartres, France** First impressions are that it isn't as groundbreaking as you might expect or want, given who the perfumers are who created it. But if you like Pineapple, Vanilla and a nutty/roasted drydown, then 1 Million Black is for you. It's not nutty in the same way as 1 Million Lucky, which I love. But the Ebony/woods in the basenote definitely gives a roasted/nutty nuance to the fragrance. 1 Million Black isn't beast mode, but sillage is initially strong for the first hour and those around you will certainly smell the Pineapple/tropical notes. The underlying Vanilla gives the fragrance warmth and depth, without being cloying or overly sweet. But on skin, longevity is impressive, lasting on my skin for at least 8 hours. The Pineapple and tropical notes remain throughout the lifespan of the fragrance. I would say that it's ideal for Spring/Summer day or evening wear. But overall, this is an all season, office friendly and inoffensive addition to the 1 Million line. I really like it and I'm enjoying wearing it. Best in the line? Not for me. I have 8 of the other flankers in the 1 Million line and I prefer Lucky, Golden Oud and Prive over Black. However, it's by no means a bad fragrance, though I wouldn't blind it. I would suggest going in store to sample it because you MUST enjoy Pineapple, tropical notes and Vanilla to enjoy this. It's also fairly linear throughout. Also, the naming convention is bizarre, as apart from a toasted/nutty nuance to the fragrance, there's nothing really dark or black about this fragrance. Overall, Black is an 6.5/10 from me

First off this frag is an absolute monster, performance is through the roof on my bottle, projects for hours & can still smell on my skin the next day, on clothing 3-4 days later, despite this I’ve heard others say it doesn’t last & is not that strong for them which really surprises me. On my first wearing I sprayed each side of my neck once & all I could smell for the entire day was this frag. I bought this direct from Rabanne & for a 100ml bottle I think I paid around £85 (after discount) which isn’t that bad for a brand new release, think I bought it on the first or second day it was listed on their website. Sadly despite its amazing performance, this DNA is not one I enjoy, it’s way too sweet & cloying for me, maybe in the colder weather it would appeal better to me, but it’s definitely too much in this hotter weather. For the first few hours you get an overdose of pineapple which is the most prominent note over everything else, in the background there’s a vanilla vibe going on along with a smoky wood vibe, the most dislikable part though for me is the pineapple has a kind of burnt edge to it which I just find off putting. This is definitely not blind buy safe, & if you don’t like smelling of pineapple then you definitely won’t like this (who honestly wants to go around smelling like a pineapple 🤔) However, if pineapple is your thing you’ll probably love this, & as for performance this is probably the best performing frag I’ve ever come across!

The fragrance has completely changed—both in character and composition. It smells like an imitation of Black XS and Invictus. The fragrance has destroyed its own identity by copying its own other scents. Even the costumes of the actors and models in the advertisements have been changed; the leather attire reflects the Black XS DNA, while the fragrance is a copy of Invictus and Black XS. This marks the end of an era. What a shame!

Fragrance Review: First thoughts, it's a fruity sweet, aromatic vanilla sweetness, similar to Rabanne Fame for women. Rabanne One Million Black starts with an extremely sweet aromatic sweetness coming from the Tropical notes, Mango and Pineapple combination. It's very sweet for the first hour, and turns to a nice woody and vanilla combination until the drydown. The longevity is very good, and lasts approximately 7-9+ hours on my skin. It projects averagely too,(Depends on skin types) Overall Rating (8/10) Rabanne One million Black in summary doesn't relate to its name at all, quite frankly it can come across a bit unisex/feminine for some people including myself. I can't compare this to any one million releases as the opening is far too different compared to the original one million DNA. But that being said, the performance is decent and suitable for a nice summer/autumn release overall. If you have performance issues; make sure you buy from a safe source

I wore it for a few days, even though the conditions definitely weren't doing it any favors. In the opening, you get tropical notes - in my opinion, it's a perfumey pineapple plus a perfumey passionfruit. The opening carries through the entire lifespan of the fragrance, slowly fading in intensity. There is indeed vanilla in the heart, quite nicely blended, though not particularly demanding or surprising. "Woody notes"- because I wouldn't really call it ebony wood - play in the background of the base, but very subtly, to the point that I didn't even catch them on my first wear. Very pleasant and nicely tropical, though not ground-breaking, even if you won't really find anything like this on the shelves of S or D. Other than that, it's still the sweet 1 Million that everyone will love, and its true character can only really be tested in winter or summer. Definitely worth trying out, though for me, 1 Million Parfum remains the top pick.

Got to say its good and the tropical notes seem to last well into the dry down but also get some coconut notes as well which isn't my favourite but seems to fit with this fragrance Unfortunately I do seem to go nose blind maybe because its strong and i was wearing in 25° weather so sub 20° will be better i think, but i start to think its gone then get wiffs of it and it seems eternal on clothes as spayed on the sunday and left the tshirt I was wearing waiting for the wash and it was still strong on it 3 days later when it was going in the wash. Will do some more testing when its cooler but now testing Velixer icarus for a few days 👌🏻

Meh. I bought a 30 ml bottle just to try it, but honestly, it’s nothing special. I was expecting a vanilla bomb, but all I get is amber and a ton of Ambrofix, Ambrocenide, Ambrostar, and Akigalawood... and Dihydromyrcenol. I find it strange that none of these are mentioned in the note pyramid. It’s nice if you want to leave a strong trail wherever you go, but to me, it’s the classic toxic ex-boyfriend perfume.

Smells like a Piña colada. Was looking forward to this but it’s fallen short slightly, was expecting something a bit more complex - all I get is creamy pineapple and coconut. Suppose that is what it’s been marketed as (vanilla and pineapple). Drydown is a bit woodier but even more woods would have been stellar
