Whom ever it was that has voted it smells like Burberry Her Elixir is deceiving you! This does not smell like any strawberry fragrance. This is sophisticated, smells like fresh sweet organic strawberries that are delicious in the spring and summer months. There’s no synthetic smell at all. It’s very feminine, it’s like a dark sweet juicy organic strawberry, with expensive french sugary but subtle vanilla! You then get that smoky creamy pink pepper complimented by the delicate jasmine flower which makes it slightly musky. Patchouli is detectable but it’s not a dirty patchouli it’s smooth! This is a very classy elegant but bold fragrance. The projection is amazing, I sprayed 1 spray and wow it’s strong! Yes this is the best strawberry fragrance. Stop comparing it to these fragrances that do not smell similar or even close to it. By the way, the review below by the loved @perfumerism is spot on, it is also seductive and perfectly blended and it’s extremely velvety.

A velvety, chocolatey strawberry bite. Like a top notch strawberry conserve-filled jaffa cake with something almost cocoa buttery about it. The patchouli is light and smooth. Just a touch of pretty jasmine. I had to get a bigger decant. Aaaaagh this strawberry is calling my name....🍓🍓🍓 Update. The longevity is actually decent after all and whilst I initially felt it to be overpriced I think it is worth it for that beautiful natural strawberry. Gorgeous and quite unisex too. You need to like patchouli, despite it not being a dark heavy patchouli it is absolutely present throughout. Yes I had to buy a bottle but I love that it's 125 ml and a beautiful, heavy clunky thing with the notes engraved in the gold side panel.

This is exactly the kind of strawberry I've been looking for. It's sweet, very strawberry forward but slightly green. The jasmine coasts right under the strawberry, giving it an even more natural feel. Beautifully blended! At first sniff I would definitely describe this as a daytime summer, but the great thing is, as it develops, it deepens and darkens, allowing it to become more appropriate for a night out. This is immediately going to the top of the list. The strawberry+vanilla makes it quite "girly" but I could see a playful yet confident guy wearing this too. I seriously can't get enough of this one.

I’m obsessed, this fragrance really surprised me. It’s beautiful from opening to dry down, and lasts all day. I can’t think of any perfume that it reminds me of. In the beginning you get a juicy strawberry that develops in to a velvet musky vanilla with a kick to it. Will be my summer fragrance, definitely get the travel size and try it out yourself!

Holy smokes-- this is one of the greatest things I have smelled. This is the smoothest strawberry fragrance (apparently the first 100% natural strawberry extract!!) and it smells... like velvet?! This is warm, sweet, seductive. It is SO likeable and I think this is going to be a major hit. I need a bottle NOW

Absolutely adore this one one if my favourite. Not sweet at all. Bit oudy. I get Morocco vibe there. Even though the incense is not listed I get that vibe. 9/10 Beautiful bottle. Great procreation and longevity

This is a very sophisticated strawberry scent & like nothing i have tried before. The Jasmine, Patchouli & Vanilla are a perfect combination. Great performance & 10/10 scent. A must have on my collection.

I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about this. This is the best strawberry fragrance I’ve ever smelled. It smells like sweet strawberry jam, not too sharp or overly sweet. Just perfect.

I have been wearing it on 3 odd days to finally make up my mind and I still feel torn. I got a 5ml decant because I expected to like it a lot and I do, but... ...It opens with the yummiest strawberry jam that mallows out into a more realistic strawberry that is also morphing into bright blossom which I wouldn't actually identify as jasmine if I didn't know. the first half an hour the perfume sort of goes in reverse timeline of strawberry life, all the while having this velvety texture... so I understand the velvet note even though it doesn't exactly make olfactive sense and it's truly hard to describe otherwise... All that experience is heavenly, and the first minutes I was convinced I want a full bottle, but the drydown is really just strong patchouli sweetened by vanilla... I like patchouli a lot, but I feel somehow let down by the drydown, In my mind it has to be a bit more sophisticated and complex and more-dimensional. Also it's quite string and lingering, so if you don't love patchouli, beware... I think I'll just stick to my decant and see how quick I go through it (or not) P.S. smelled the lingering scent on my shirt I wore and it was the most delicious patchouli... :) So torn...

Oh I loooove this. I used to have Guerlain Rose Cherie, and I had deemed it my cute ultra-girly scent. Though I do love that perfume, I eventually sold my bottle because I rarely wore it. It felt overly polite. I feel that way about a lot of "pink" perfumes. This fills that spot in my collection, while maintaining some type of edge. The strawberry is natural and sweet. For me this scent is undoubtedly "pink," but in a Gucci by Tom Ford kind of way. Luxurious in texture. Sexy. Grown. When I get whiffs of the jasmine and the soft patchouli in the background I am really floored.

To my nose, the drydown smells identical to Xerjoff La Capitale.

If you don’t like patchouli stay away from this!

Armure Mara opens with ripe strawberry, sitting on top of a heart of jasmine. The vanilla here is subtle, but plays a role in the evolution of the scent. Underlying is that signature synthetic patchouli Puig is known for. The less it's used, the better the fragrance. I say this because that particular aroma chemical has a tendency to smell very... well, "chemical". Not its entirety, but dimensions of it. Perhaps my body chemistry forces that note forward, but it can be unpleasant and potentially headache inducing. For that reason alone, this was not a love for me. Rather a love-hate complex. Can't deny the beautiful packaging, however you cannot wear the bottle.

Beautiful strawberry dark and deep fragrance with woody/ almost "oudy" accord. ( probably the reaction with patchouli ) still too sweet for me. It did suprise me, positively , def characteristic and "big personality" perfume, i would see this perfectly on a man. Although still too much strawberry for my taste, so i fell in love instead with Silver Skin from the same line ! and it's about to be discontinued so please check it out !

Wow. This is amazing! Strawberry at the forefront, patchouli/vanilla combo so well balanced you can't tell them apart, a subtle floral note peeping through. You have to love Patchouli as a note to appreciate this perfume. It's well rounded, smooth, moreish - makes you think of gourmand, some fruity pastries aroma perhaps. I'm really enjoying it and I highly recommend it.
