Burning Leather

Oh my lord.. this is utterly delicious. My fiance bought this for himself and I wanted to steal it immediately. I won't and will have to settle for smelling it on him (not mad) and may sneak a few squirts myself. It's the most delicious candied leather I've ever smelled. Definitely unisex. Doesn't lean masculine like many leather dominant scents can. The maple here is doing major heavy lifting, almost gives it a syrupy cotton candy edge. I get the Iris.. I didn't know the notes going in and I was thinking of Violet, which is a similar scent to Iris. Subtle spice. Smells like fall and winter romance. Definitely something more suitable for cooler weather and night time but could be worn any time. Almost reminds me of the dark sweet violet leather blend of Bibliotheque but a total different scent with this being punchier on leather and amber and less floral. Soft, smooth, sweet and elegant. I have NOT stopped smelling my wrist, only just enough to write this review.

This is a stunner. Really reminds me of Sugar Leather, which I already have. The leather here is more suede-y and the maple is syrupy - the sum is greater than the parts. What a great scent, really unique. This has gone straight onto my To Buy list. Edit: tried this again in Selfridges two weeks after my initial review. Still a powerhouse. It’s going strong after 3 hours, which is unusual for me. Perhaps a bit syrupy sweet for this warm summer weather, but a great perfume nevertheless.

What soleil brulant should have been. Burned but not incinerated. This is glorious stuff. Buttery, warm, smoky and a very beautiful rounded leather. My wife got fed up watching me sniff my forearm all afternoon and we went back and got it. The nose is Quentin Bisch. He deserves to take a well deserved bow on this one. The last time I was this thrilled about a scent was Black Phantom, another gourmand that doesn’t veer into sickly sweet territory. Burning Leather. A must!

This is an absolute banger!!!!!!!!! Defo my fave from the line (2nd place is still after club) The soft creamy butteryness of the Iris up top melded with the maple syrup is outrageously gorgeous!! However this does bare a strong resemblence to Creed Delphinus in the mid - drydown phase

Blind voters are making this site unusable. This smells absolutely nothing like Beaver Maple, if anything it smells like a sweeter version of BTSO Purple Stain. Nothing groundbreaking but beautifully executed.

What's amazing is that scents like this tend to come with a burnt smoky edge that really irritates me, but not this one (contrary to its name) 😊

This is absolute HEAVEN in a bottle. By far my favorite fragrance of all time right now. It's so addicting to smell. I can't stop wearing this fragrance!! The only time I wouldn't wear it is on the extremely hot days and it does sit a little heavy, but fall winter and spring this is no problem. The sweetest from the maple, the smooth buttery iris, and warm subdued leather is sensational. This is my first and only review on a fragrance because I truly love this so much! Please try this!!

Gorgeous dark, sticky, deep, leathery fragrance . Strong and intense. Beautiful like a noir novel you just can't put down. Not for the faint of nose, but evocative and emotional. Turbulence and passion. very very very mysterious. Smokey, edgy , what a rock star with great taste should be wearing. Or a cursed poet with a vice. Stunner !

A sweet, semi-animalic leather with caramelized maple and amber-like elements. Highly synthetic, but pleasant overall. Although some may find it obnoxious. I don't get a burning effect from this fragrance, but rather a sweet and spicy take on leather. Bold, daring and very much a Fall or Winter choice that stands out effortlessly.

Bellissimo profumo acquistato alla cieca (ormai come ogni mio acquisto ) qui prevale la nota di cuoio e qualcosa di dolce come fosse ciliegia 🍒 anche se non ce tra le note io la personalmente la sento, un cuoio molto dolce ma non stucchevole rimane molto raffinato, senza dubbio il migliore della linea.

Side effect dna with a sweet cherry chapstick note and hint of leather (did not live up to the name) Must of had this dna to nose over 25 times over the past couple years.. nothing really new but did get complimented 3 times. Blonde Amber and Side effect are where this fragrance took me.

I was happy to find this at Selfridges. Burning Leather is a bold, sexy gourmand. It evokes the rich, warm aroma of steaming spicy maple syrup on a hot pan. Well balanced by the leather note. The composition is beautifully crafted, making it a scent I'd love to wear on a date night.

Maybe people are put off by the name but, I totally agree, downvoting shows a complete lack of intelligence. By the way, the notes sound beautiful 😍

Leathery, fruity, sweet, might bite off your own arm. I love it. Perfect unisex for me as woman can share it with my husband, he likes it as well.

yummy! i get the burning - hot sand, hot skin - but the leather is more subtle than i was expecting also there is a dark cherry note on top
