Fame in Love

One of my favorite blind buys ever! The immediate opening smells like a freshly muddled, strawberry basil cocktail/mocktail with a hint of citrus. Big emphasis on the word fresh, as the strawberry note smells like real pureed strawberries and not like strawberry hard candy, ice cream, marshmallows, lip gloss, etc. It’s still sweet but in an airy and somewhat realistic way. I’m not getting much, if anything, in terms of the incense and patchouli notes yet, but a beautiful floral powderiness develops on skin as the perfume dries down. It’s not particularly cosmetic-like to my nose and also not as prominent on clothing or paper as it is on skin. The mineral note here does to Fame in Love what the gunpowder note does to Flowerbomb Nectar. It’s what gives this perfume that little extra something; a wonderful crisp and icy quality. Think of it as the antithesis of all the heavy gourmands that are popular right now. The scent overall leans quite feminine IMO, but I can see individuals of any age enjoying it. It’s unique, inoffensive and just sweet enough. I'll provide an update on the lasting power once I've had it a bit longer, but for now I'd say longevity and sillage are both moderate. :) ** Editing to say I received a sample of the original Fame with my order. The only thing they have in common is the bottle design IMO.

I finally figured out what this reminds me of; a strawberry GUSHER !! 😍🍬🍓 This is mainly sweet strawberry done in a more realistic juicy way, but it’s also very candy like at the same time. The strawberry is not at all medicinal, syrupy or heavy, it’s very airy, fresh/sweet and playful (the perfect kind of strawberry imo, reminds me a lil of the strawberry in Miutine). It literally smells just like how a strawberry gusher tastes. It has this juicy chewy texture to it that I am obsessed with. It’s slightly powdery. I get the mineral notes which add a crisp freshness, and I also get hints of the basil which is actually so interesting!! 🌿 I was worried ab that note but somehow it blends so perfectly into the strawberry and adds this uniqueness to the strawberry that I never could’ve imagined, and it is so pleasant!! (To me it makes the 🍓 smell more realistic). I don’t get a ton of vanilla but just enough to smooth everything out. I don’t pick up on any patchouli or incense (yay). Overall I am so impressed! Such a fun unique scent and the way the strawberry is done has to be my favorite I’ve smelled yet!! 😍 It’s a very likable scent. I highly recommend if you love 🍓, fruity, fun, playful, candy- like scents 😊

Yes, this has similarities to Burberry Her if you're just grazing the most superficial top layer of this fragrance, but there are key distinguishing notes (such as the base notes that are completely different) that separate them to the point that they feel more like cousins than sisters. Fame In Love is like the Burberry Her that wants to line their entire eyes in black eyeliner. She is dark yet bright and fruity. Moody but not angsty. Mature, yet vibrant. Sweet but too sensual to be innocent. I feel like it's the notes that Her doesn't have are what makes this so so much better. I love the basil in this. It gives the impression of a strawberry with the greens still attached to it. There is a little bit of an earthy freshness and the basil is the key. The incense add a dark allure and mystique and pairs so well with the basil. There is a profound smoothness and contrast when it comes to the mood of this fragrance that I absolutely adore. I purchased the full bottle of this right away and it became an instant favourite.

I LOVE this fragrance. The only potential con is the way it smells on clothes after a few days, it’s completely different from the way it smells on skin- it reminds me of a cupcake, but an old and stale one. That aside, the opening is super fresh and juicy, I LOVE the basil note here, it really makes the fragrance. The scent lasts for hours as a jammy, sweet strawberry with some toned-down freshness from the basil, and that fresh strawberry that remains. The green mandarin also gives a pleasant, noticeable sour citrus touch, and there’s a subtle smokiness from the incense. The final drydown is a woody-patchouli vanilla with a delicious, creamy frosted cupcake quality. The initial stages smell like picking a juicy strawberry in your garden while someone’s making strawberry jam inside. It also reminds me of the tart berry basket lalaloopsy doll.. but the fragrance is fresher and smokier. I adore the incense note here!!

This fragrance is beautiful. Opens with ripe strawberry, with a creamy vanilla. There is some patchouli in it but hard to detect. Juicy and very playful. I find it to be a happy fragrance. I will say, when I first smelled this, it really reminded me of the original Miss Dior Cherie, that was released in 2005. It was a strawberry scent also, but more syrupy. I know because, I purchased it when it first dropped back then and it became my signature fragrance. Now you cannot get it anymore. It’s been discontinued. If you do find it, it’s $1000 on eBay. 😂Anyways, if you like that type of scent, you will love this fragrance. Very strong and long lasting which I love. I give it a 9/10 for longevity, and projection. Get your nose on it if you haven’t! ❤️

Juicy, sweet, playful, bright. If Burberry Her had a chic older sister. Very photorealistic strawberry scent with fresh, clean, crisp, green herbs. A touch of hard strawberry candies that develops into a smokey smooth buttery but still lightweight jasmine dominant middle, followed by a soft vanillin, patchouli forward base. Daring use of a metallic mineral note for fems made airy and juicy with basil and sweet citrus. If you don’t want to feel like a sexy, youthful, aloof robot made of chrome, you’re kinda lame. Much more memorable than regular Fame to me. Longevity, meh. Sillage is present. This is not a gourmand despite leading with strawberry, unless you want to bite into a red shiny metal ass.

So I had a test in the shop and wow it’s absolutely beautiful. Not too synthetic doesn’t smell cheap it’s beautiful I love love this its actually my favourite Fame in the line. First spray I get the strawberry straight away it’s fresh lil strong but not heavy it’s sweet too. The dry down sort of smells like a strawberry jammy biscuit it last a very long time

So I went to Sephora and tried some perfumes in paper, inclunding this. I got tottaly in love with it on paper. Sweet with tones of strawberry scent. Unfortunetely I don't know why, the result was not what I expected on my skin. And it lasts less than older brother - Fame EdP. It's a light scent, for spring/summer. 9/10

Straight off the bat, this smells to me like Burberry Her Parfum, Si Red Musk and Rave Now...but with a little herbal edge. I really like it but I don’t need it in my collection, because I already have a few strawberry scents. However, this would be ideal for summer. Synthetic but juicy and easy to wear.

Holy shit this sounds amazing, seems many are excited about this one! No idea why it was released under Fame as it literally shares zero connection to any of the others but hey! *shrug* I just--CANNOT WAIT--to get my nose on this one. With those notes, idk how it could smell bad.

Ok, this is THE BEST STRAWBERRY PERFUME out there! I tryed lots of but this is the purest, straitforward Strawberry. Good quality, not complicated bur not too simple. If you like strawberry, go for it!

Fruit punch. It’s nice, not sure if it’s something I could wear daily but I can see people wanting to. Pleasantly surprised

I find all Fame bottles to be horrendous, so I had zero expectations when I sprayed this one. To my surprise, it was addictive! I sprayed it on my hand and couldn't stop sniffing it. There's something nostalgic about this fragrance... It reminds me of my early 20s, when I was a smoker and used to frequent Madame, a goth nightclub in São Paulo. It smells like you're in a nightclub and they just turned on the fog machine. There's a group of people not too far from you smoking strawberry-flavored hookah. The nightclub doesn't have many windows, so it's a little humid but still cold. A girl walks by and you catch a whiff of her vanilla perfume in the air. If you get close enough, you can also smell her powdery makeup. All at the same time. God, I need that perfume.

This is nice - VERY similar to "Strawberry Letter" - to me. This sadly does not work on my skin, the longer it settles in. The incense is a note I just CANNOT do, and I was worried about that showing up, so that is why I just did a travel spray - thankfully. I will return this - but I do like it, just don't like the dry down. Too woody/smoky for me and not my vibe. The sweet, realistic strawberry is great - but I just don't think this is going to work in the long run for me.

I really like the scent of this and it lasted a lot longer on my skin than the OG Fame did. The strawberry actually stayed on my skin throughout the wear. The only reason I wouldn’t buy a full bottle is that it felt a bit too juvenile for me. It’s a lovely scent that I would maybe wear as a body mist before I went to bed but as a perfume, it’s just not for me. If you love the scent though, I definitely would recommend it.

Beautiful juicy strawberry in the opening which got ruined, because unfortunately in the dry down, it becomes powdery metallic/iris type of smell. Totally different and becomes very unpleasant, what a shame : i wish it stayed like the opening all along, would have been perfect. To me the best fame remains fame « parfum », a tropical juicy mango that never quits the game. Bottle is pretty.

Sprayed it on both skin and paper. Initially I smelled strong artificial strawberries with rabanne strength. It can be easily worn by younger people who really like to smell sweet. (Loud on SWEET) After 6-7 hours smell on paper and skin differed quite a lot. Paper smells like strawberry shampoo and skin almost kept the best attributes of the fragrance and balanced the scent out.

Bought this today and this is a mesmerising strawberry vanilla infused fragrance. Now the strawberry notes is quite nostalgic..reminds me of a Victoria secret perfume but with richer notes of vanilla and jasmine. It has a young vibe but Longevity 4-6 hours. Can be worn during fall, spring, winter, but it’s definitely an evening fragrance.

It is Burberry Her without that typical musk. I like it, nice, quite smooth strawberry milkshake, sweet but in the limit of not being too juvenile, just on the verge. The best of the line actually, the others are too artificial smelling, not that this one is not, but the others of Fame are over that verge for me.

Delicious strawberry perfume, this is what I hoped Burberry her elixir and coach love would be. I’ve only tested on paper so will need to try on skin and make proper judgement but so far I’m pleased. Sweet and playful if that’s the sort of perfume you’re looking for.

this was a blind buy and i can’t really complain. it smells like strawberries and vanilla, nothing else, nothing more. its simple, sweet and inoffensive. the strawberries are tangy which for me, makes the perfume. i like it but its nothing groundbreaking!

It is a ripe, heavy, sexy, sweet strawberry. Classic, nice aroma, a little bitter that doesn't have the mango and the tobacco that isn't intense. An 8/10 the others aren't bitter at all because they have the mango and tobacco intensely.

I have seen a few people describe this as a strawberry milkshake scent - I do not get this at all. For me, this is strawberry mojito - the mineral element with the basil is what brings this quality to me. Very wearable for summer time.

At first spray this is the best, juiciest, freshest, most realistic strawberry I've ever smelled in a perfume. I got SOOO excited in the shop and immediately ordered a sample. Once again, at first spray, I was in heaven - and then 10 minutes passed. Thwarted by jasmine once again. The strawberry turns synthetic and slightly unpleasant, and then the jasmine comes through with a grudge, hurting my nose and alighting a headache between my eyes instantaneously. If I had a nickel for all the designer fragrances this happens to me with... I would pay criminal amounts of money for someone to make this spray without the jasmine.

I wish I could like this, because I can definitely smell a nice strawberry, but she’s drowned in basil and it ends up being way too sharp on my skin :( the dry down is okay but I wish it was less sour. If you want an earthy strawberry go ahead but it really does smell like you haven’t washed the strawberry at all, picked it up straight from the garden, and ate it despite the dirt remaining on it.

On paper I didn’t like it. However on my skin, it is unique clean strawberry lol. I really like it!!! The basil is very prominent to my nose I don’t get vanilla to be honest(thank God) 🍓💕💖 Edit: there is something sour and green a little bit. I don’t think I would wear it much

The first 15 minutes was a lovely, juicy strawberry, which is exactly what I was wanting. But I think the iris, oris and incense didn't mix well with my skin. I think it's great for people who love a woody strawberry.

Smells like a bath and body works strawberry scented fragrance If you want to smell like strawberry shortcake I would definitely recommend tho!

Smells just like Gingham Gorgeous which is a dupe of Burberry Her. I love Fame but this flanker is just too basic :(

Fruity with some earthy spice from the patchouli and it's so candy-sweet yet spicy-balsanic that it reminds me of Flowerbomb Tiger Lily Viktor&Rolf which apparently smells alot like the OG Fame. They both have that contradicting element, the subtle spice paired with a citrusy juicy sweet vein. They're both youthful yet spicy even tho Tiger Lily smells more tropical and juicy-orange in my mind from the mango while this is very "pink". I prefer Tiger Lily tho since this becomes too plastic-sweet on me from the strawberry note and somewhat ozonic. I don't smell Burberry Her much in this. The sweet aspect becomes rather childish like an ozonic BBW strawberry mist. Not into that. I prefer the OG Fame for sure.

Hello my friends ♥️. This perfume make me realize that is soo hard to find a strawberry perfume that is not artificial. I'm so disappointed. At start it was a fresh juicy sweet strawberry but after a few minutes it became so artificial in my skin that i didn't like it at all. The thing is that it has so much longevity in my clothes that I can't stand it. Do not blindly buy it if you can't stand the artificial strawberry vibes that maybe appear on your skin.

Unfortunately, I haven’t liked any of the Fame fragrances so far, and this one might be my least favorite of them all. In the opening, it reminds me of a strawberry-scented candle, but as it develops, a synthetic note emerges that has a sharp, piercing quality reminiscent of ammonia. It’s the kind of scent that immediately stands out to me, and not in a good way.

Opens up sweet fruity trawberry vanilla and turns into a fruity incense mineral mess. I've had $3 body mists better than this. I regretted testing on my skin.

god forbid i blind buy once. this thing is so unbelievably terrible. it smells like a fake kids perfume. im pretty sure not all fruity florals smell this rancid and cheap, this one was just executed terribly. it smells tolerably characteristic and herbal for like 15 minutes somewhere in between, then goes back to smelling like something under a dollar. i am so so sorry for the money i spent on this literal insult to perfumery. no vanilla notes, the strawberry lasts genuinely less than 10 seconds and evaporates with the alcohol, the herbs are weak, all i’m left with is the smell of disappointment and enragement. do NOT blind buy and honestly even after trying if you somehow get fooled into thinking it smells nice, still don’t buy.

Artificial strawberry vape/cough syrup opening. As time passes, it does take on some more mineral notes, but the strawberry is still the leading note here, far and away. This is a pass for me, personally. This really does smell cheap unfortunately and I agree with the bath and body works assessment too. Not much to say here beyond this.

Oh dear. The reviewer who likened this to strawberry cough syrup is unfortunately on the money. Will not be keeping this. Also it does have that masculine vibe a lot of modern perfumes seem to want to run with. Would prob just stick with Burberry Her.

As I wrote to my latest review, fruity is the trend of 2026, you have to accept it. I feel like we're in the era of fruity jams. Everything started with Miss Dior Essence and the blackberry jam, La Bomba from CH and the dragon fruit (pitaya) is a bit lighter and closer to Quentin Bisch's standards, Lancôme's newest LNT is based on rose & strawberries, Divine Couture from JPG comes with a raspberry meringue and the show must go on. I just have to admit that the first house that rocked these fruity aspects way earlier is Emporio Armani's-Because it's you (Rose/Raspberry heaven, they said it's reformulated and I am not shocked) and Burberry of course with 'Her' line. And yes ladies & gentlemen, I see why Fame in love reminds you of the original Her EDP, but to me it's definitely a sister of Armani Si Red Musk. Burberry Her Intense (2025) belongs to the same category by being less complicated. It's like 20%-80%, BUT this is the closest to the natural smell of a bowl full of wild strawberries and sugar. With some like changes/touches I would buy it even if I am not a fan of strawberries! Ah, if they could add some more incense or replacing iris with frangipani for example. I don't like to categorize perfumes according to age/season/sex etc, but this is so girly. Fun and flirty to the bone, the easiest gift to impress a girl on her early 20's or younger. Strawberry shampoo vibes, bubblegum with strawberry syrup, the patchouli is so well hidden but supports excellent and gives body to the perfume, the vanilla..? I don't know, I guess it will stay faintly on the skin after hours and that's all. Nothing you haven't smell already, but honestly my favorite fruity release till now. The sillage is 'romantic', you can sense it when you're close enough, the lasting power is better but I have a feeling this will be a limited edition for Valentine's day because if you overspray, you will 'smell' silly...One advice, if you have it or planning to buy it, try layering it with something dark, boozy, example Gucci Guilty Absolu de parfum pour femme, Angel's Share from Killian, something with strong white florals like Dior addict EDP or a signature/classic chypre perfume. God, it becomes truly addictive!

This is the first fragrance I’m reviewing here. I purchased the Elixir version, which comes in the transparent bottle. I first tried it in the store on my wrist, and from the very first sniff, I was in love. As I tested other fragrances, I let it sit for a while, and it seemed to fade quite quickly. Still, I found myself drawn to the soft, lingering scent that remained, so I decided to buy the 30 ml bottle. On the drive home, I noticed my wrist starting to smell a bit strange, almost like sweat, which made me worry about my purchase. Once I got home, I sprayed it on a blotter and let it sit again to see if it would turn unpleasant. Thankfully, it didn’t. Today, I sprayed it on my neck and clothes, hoping for the best...and it was lovely!! The fragrance is long-lasting, sweet yet fresh, never cloying or overly gourmand. It's the first fragrance I buy which has some mineral notes... very interesting. It did not develop any sweaty note. It's just straight and strong strawberry, but only the fresh and most luminous part of it. It feels perfect for summer, but I'll be wearing it in winter as well. Wearing it made me feel feminine, young and girly, yet bold and confident at the same time.

I don't understand all the positive reviews. I love sweet fragrances but this...this a synthetic mess. The scent does not reflect the price. This smells cheap. I'll admit the opening really peaked my interest. I love a fizzy soda-like feel and that's what I got on the initial spray. A fizzy sour strawberry soda.It was lovely but it only took a couple of minutes for this to turn painfully synthetic and juvenile. It smells like a strawberry body mist that you would buy your 13 year old. It's not a delicious strawberry, it's very plasticy. To add insult to injury, the bottle is hideous but I think that for all the fame perfumes. This flanker makes the original Fame seem like a masterpiece in comparison.

I received a sample of this in the mail today and was excited to try it but I did and I totally don’t like. It smells/reminds me of a few things - that artificial strawberry hubba bubba gum they used to sell when I was a kid and cough syrup. I can maybe smell the slight mineral note but mostly the inside wrapper of a stale strawberry hubba bubba and cough syrup. Whoever says this is photorealistic strawberry, chiiiile. This is clearly for teenagers, ppl in their early 20’s that swear by anything that smells like marshmallows, skittles, or that strawberry shortcake doll head from eons ago. Rabanne’s Fame line has much better flankers than this.

A bit disappointed by this, firstly I went out testing perfumes and thought that this was the one I liked but I must've lost track. I mistakenly ordered this, sad as I have no clue what one I liked so much so will have to go back. This one is okay, I gave away my burberry elixir as it was too strong with artificial strawberry, unfortunately this reminds me of that. It's not as strong or medicinal strawberry smelling as burberry elixir and doesn't make me feel sick like that one does so good ig 🤔😆 I mean its strawberry juice, a bit like burberry her/elixir but it's sweeter and lighter and slightly less fake strawberry smelling

I was so surprised how much I like this! The strawberry is strong, but I like that. It does smell slightly artificial, it’s not a true strawberry scent. The first spray can smell a little juvenile, but on my skin it really developed into an interesting mineral and clean scent that’s still sweet. As a male I would happily wear this as an everyday fragrance especially in the summer, it’s sweet but not completely feminine that it’s not wearable for a man.

Firstly, the bottle... omggg, soooo cute. 😍 When these launched, I adored them, but the silver and gold robots were never my vibe... I’m so glad I waited because this red one is the best. I never got to try the pink one, but I’m assuming the red one stands out the most... It’s so fruity and sweet. Take a quick drink of Freshie, put your Fame on, get your cut-offs, bracelets, chapstick and jellies. A sweet, flirty fruity fragrance with a soft strawberry milkshake vibe. It’s not sour or sharp, never overwhelming, and doesn’t cause headaches. It kind of reminds me of burberry her but i think this is more beautiful and mature. I think it’s the type of fragrance that appeals to almost any man who enjoys sweet, fruity scents. My boyfriend loved it!
