Fame Intense

fame absolutely got my whole heart since last summer, and this year it genuinely became one of my favourite ever smells, so obsessed with it!! 2 days ago i got a tester (5ml) and i just can't stop smelling it, it's so luscious and bright and beautiful and tasty, absolutely deserves every single lovely word. the vibe that its giving me while wearing it on my skin is an salty sandalwood incense burning next to the plate with a fresh ripe mango and some vanilla sticks on top for decorations that rich lonely auntie in her late 30s would have for a breakfast before taking you to go shopping at the most expensive designer stores, and she definitely would smell exactly like that. i really wish longevity was just slightly longer, but it lasted its honourable 6-7 hours with an end of intimate sillage while i was at work which located on a street and requires a lot of moves in early summer weather (27+ degrees by celsius) so i'm really pleased with smelling it on myself even after some environment that probably isn't good for any perfume to stay on skin for a really long time. altogether i wanna say again how simple but beautiful it is and that one day i hope to make real my dream of owning 80ml bottle of it!

I received a sample of this while purchasing another perfume. I quickly fell in love with it and after wearing it for a few days I decided to purchase it, becoming my most expensive perfume that I bought myself. Before buying it I tried out the original fame and I don't know why it felt so weird to me with the mango note? Maybe my mood or the season wasn't right for it. I really didn't understand the low score of the Intense. To me it's such a beautiful, balanced scent, the incense note is so subtle and adds depth and (as stupid as it sounds) some "mysteriousness". The sandalwood and jasmine on the other hand adds a creamy quality. Love it so much, definitely my favourite of the Fame line and I got some compliments from my friends (from whom, funnily enough, it was described as "coconuty and tropical") and family. Bit curious how it'll wear in the spring and summer though as I adored it in winter, so far I've only worn it in a single spring (a bit chilly) night and it was still good.

STUNNING CREAMY TROPICAL Oh boy is this so gorgeous, a very lush, creamiest of creamy coconut jasmine tropical perfumes, intoxicating and it's blended to perfection - the hint of incense is mesmerising It seriously smells like it could be £300 a bottle, it's THAT good. I often layer this over ALIEN BODY CREAM, it is a perfect combination and if you own Mancera "Intense Crush" spray some of that onto your clothes whilst wearing this intoxicating mix. This is not for Winter... this needs the heat, above 20 degrees and humidity - it gets humid in the UK during summer and oh lala it just keeps getting more intense as the temperature rises. Wave after wave of intoxicating beauty, it's distracting, it's transporting me to lush tropical shores... it's just gorgeous.

Definitely different than the notes listed. Came off very “cologney” when I first sprayed but softened within a few minutes. As it dried it continued to get softer and I was getting a really strong coconut note that kept it smelling very feminine. Definitely a white floral but with a smokiness and tropical vibe. This was a quick trial with a sampler and u didn’t wear it for long so I’d have to try it again to see how it wears longer term, but I definitely would wear it again. It would be a nice year-round choice.

This scent is so seductive to me. Opens with a somewhat peppery floral, then dries down into this beautiful, smoky and musky jasmine. It’s very sexy in a “hot tropical summer night” kind of way. It’s not sweet or syrupy on me- instead, it’s this decadent musky and spicy floral. Very dark, could even be unisex. I smell some kind of fruit, but I cannot identify it. I love it. Though, personally, I wouldn’t blind buy this one. The smoky and musky undertones of it might not work with everyone’s skin chemistry.

I got this one as a tester. A first I really disliked it, seemed very masculine to me, but at the second try, I really loved it. At first it's very intense, sandalwood scent, then it becomes sweet and very nice, will probably buy it someday.

I don’t personally own this perfume but a roommate of mine does. It lasts so insanely long and you can smell it from a mile away. It is an amazing option for a signature scent. To me this smells like a hazelnutty chocolate-y vanilla

Obvious coconut note that's lacking in the notes above. It's a great perfume, I love it, it's gourmand and warm but not too much, it's balanced out by the floral notes. I can't stop smelling myself!

Unpopular opinion but I LOVE this fragrance. It's deep, sexy, sweet and mysterious. Perfect for evenings and date nights.

Smells exactly like alien goddess

Oooo this one is good. The original and parfum reminded me of a very nice plug in, like room freshener. They were both fruitier than this one, but felt unrefined. This one is creamier and has a soft woods effect, it's also quite light. I am not a big fan of deep dark scents and was worried with the incense and sandalwood together, but it is light and soft with some mystery from the incense. No straight up smokiness or earthiness here. I like that this is different from anything I have, or have come across. I don't get coconut or Alien Goddess at all. I have Goddess and I love it, this is very different...while Goddess is bright and solar, this is more grounded and creamy, but does remain light and happy. Kind of a juxtaposition with this one not quite dark, but still more mysterious leaning. It's not super loud, but I've only worn one spray on skin and could lightly smell it when I moved my wrist. I can still smell it on my wrist 6 hours later, but it has stopped wafting. Anyway, I love it! I think this could be a daily wear without growing tiresome.

This flanker finally arrived to my local Sephora. I tested the other day on paper strip and my skin too. I must say this is an underwhelming release. I like the original Fame and I love the Parfum flanker but I think the only thing that makes this fragrance line interesting is the mango note. That is what I associate it with, that's the strongest part of its identity. So when they create a flanker like this, the Intense version it becomes unrecognisable and forgettable. It's a pleasant woody jasmine with coconut undertones from the sandalwood. It's smooth and has hint of incense. Personally it reminds me of Good Fortune and Good Fortune Elixir by Viktor and Rolf. This fragrance sits in the middle between those two. It's nice but unnecessary release. Basically, save your money. I hope they will create new flankers with the mango note again, I would love to see more of those!

This fragrance reminds a little bit of Obsession by Calvin Klein with a modern twist, it is not as strong as Obsession but definitely a lighter version, the incense is so delicious; eventhough it does remind me of a Catholic church during Easter. The mango note makes a quick appearance at the start and then vanishes like it never happened. I am not a fan of the original version, I find it generic and boring, but this one is more mature, established, contemplative, confident, modern, not sexy but exotic and serene, I think it is an acceptable fragrance. The performance is better than the original, perhaps 3 or 4 hrs, I would think about buying a 30ml bottle; only if I can find it at a promo price, at the moment in mainstream shops, it's super expensive.

I got 5ml of this with an atomiser I bought and on first spray I really enjoyed this. I immediately got a lot of coconut and woody notes, it’s sweet, musky and a bit smoky which I love. On me the dry down is sweet and I don’t get much of the floral notes, unfortunately I find it doesn’t last too long on me. I get around 2-3 hours of wear of this and it’s not overly noticeable which is nice for when I want a more subtle fragrance. Since I got it in a travel atomiser I don’t mind that it doesn’t last as long since it’s something I carry in my bag with me.

A nice creamy, tropical vibe perfume. It starts more fresh, fruity,a bit spicy and quickly turns into tropical creaminess with a twist of light incense. It reminds me of Alien Goddess intense but it is better in my opinion because of the added note of incense so it doesn't become dull. Longevity and projection is really good. I think it suits colder weather more.

creamy, sunny tropical fruity-floral. a grown-up summer party girl scent. it’s giving extrovert. I like it way more than I thought I would. if only the bottle weren’t so ugly. would love this in my rotation. the drydown is straight alien goddess, but the opening is far more interesting thanks to the incense (one of my favorite notes). this was made for me!

Woody and fresh. It continues to amaze me how different jasmine can smell all the time. The citrus works really beautifully here. Wore at work and whenever my wrist would pass by my head I’d get a whiff and be like omg yum. Didn’t stand out to me on my first sampling, but wearing it properly I’ve grown to like it. :-)

Began as a piña colada, and macerated into a thick mango lassi with a hint of bright freshness that's served in a cut-open coconut. There is some incense smokiness to it as the scent opens up and those woody notes do appear, but it dries down very sweet and creamy.

Potent rich jasmin mixed with luminous incensy accords, on a base of a heavy, creamy sandalwood. Mysterious and sophisticated giving dark feminine vibes. It's a very enveloping frangrance with a great lasting power.

Smells similar to the OG but with less or no mango and with added coconut instead. It’s very creamy and smooth. The OG is the best then this one and last the parfum.

The notes are completely wrong here. This is a mango-coconut-vanilla bomb 💣. Very sweet and tropical. This is the OG on vanilla steroids!! You're welcome 😁

Like others, it smells really fruity. I was expecting something smoky and creamy but the jasmine and sandalwood with the prickliness of incense just give me sparkling, mint cream soda (which isn’t a flavor I’d want to drink). If you didn’t show me the notes, I’d think pear was prominent, and I’d think this was a generic fruity floral. I can see how some might enjoy this but it’s too juicy with the rest of the notes. After a while, that “pear note” becomes juicier and I’m not surprised the other versions have mango because it’s juicy and tropical like mango. The sandalwood and incense pull powdery and I can see why others also say it’s coconut, but it’s very distinctly not coconut and instead, powdery sandalwood with a peppery incense. Wouldn’t be bad except that “mango shift” doesn’t sit with the sandalwood and incense. I can see a man saying this smells really good if this were worn on a date. The mango note smells very animalistic and musky. However I think it’s ultimately the sandalwood that makes this fruity — sandalwood can go pickley on me, and this sour tang mixed with jasmine makes it feel very juicy instead. I think that musky mango note I smell is actually the sandalwood not sure if its role, that it doesn’t know if it wants to be tangy or powdery or creamy. It’s definitely not creamy, sadly. Finally when the mango’s intensity fades, a bit of green comes in. Not my favorite, but I’d be curious to wear this on a date. It’s an interesting one though and oddly complex for how generic it wants to be.

creamy, tropical, coconut leading fragrance with minor accords of mango and jasmine. buttery, soft, sun lotion-esque. milky. linear, uncomplex, but delicious. summery. beachy. underwhelming performance and generic scent, you may as well apply some Hawaiian Tropic lotion. unsure on why the pyramid differs so drastically from reality. i had to triple check i was reviewing the right fragrance

Tested this today and it smells like the dry down of the original but more smoky. The mango is what I love about the original so this one is a pass for me. The jasmine isn't loud or obvious - to my nose Intense is mostly woody and smoky. The smokiness doesn't last very long so it becomes a mostly woody scent in the dry down. Nice, but not a love, I will stick with the original.

Don’t let the notes mislead you, it is a sandalwood heavy coconut fragrance with some incense smokiness. There is some mango at the top but disappears quickly. It is ok, but does not feel very nice... I think Flowerbomb tiger lily is way better when it comes to coconut mango perfumes

Incensy jasmine with fruity-mango touches. It’s nice enough, the jasmine is not too indolic and the incense is very digestible/tame. Longevity on warm clothing seems solid (10hrs+ in my experience). However the sillage is too soft for my liking. Overall: Nothing extraordinary

Similar to cooper coconut sands....but with more sweetness. Sandalwood is becoming a popular note for summer. The drydown is nicer than the first spriz.

Was hoping something a bit better after trying the original release Fame. First spray ; alcohol, so let it work for 30 seconds to finally smell the creamy jasmine and warm sandalwood... and that’s it. Dry-down more pleasant. Not much to say, and definitely not so fashion-forward as the brand tries to advertise it. Poor sillage and longevity, even when spraying a lot on the same spots. I finished my sample quickly without being able to get a clear picture of this perfume. I think it would pass fine for teenagers/young women who are looking for an evening scent. They tried to do something original with the bottle though, It’s cute but not enough to make me wanna get it. ___ Projection, sillage, longevity : 2,5/10 Originality, presentation : 5/10 Quality, value : 4,5/10 4/10

Once again, the pyramid is clearly incomplete. To my nose, this perfume opens with a very strong coconut note followed by a rather timid sandalwood. Jasmine appears very quickly. Then an exotic smell arrives (I would have said ylang-ylang) and a peppery note finishes it off. I personally don't smell incense at all or at least don't detect it as such. After the dry down, Fame Intense smells mainly of coconut (to my nose it's the star) and ylang-ylang accompanied by a light peppery note. It is quite fresh and quite creamy. Without being transcendent, everything remains pleasant; it's a typical "holiday" perfume which is a bit in the same category as Alien Goddess or the latest Scandal Absolu (which also smells like coconut to my nose). An unpretentious fragrance to wear without pretension. Everything remains very soft and I might have been able to appreciate it if it hadn't given me a terrible headache, bordering on nausea (but this, is personal, you'll have to test it on your own skin).

In my opinion this is almost identical to the others of the Fame line, with some difference, but that doesn't make them neither original nor characteristic. This fragrance starts with a narcotic and synthetic fruity jasmine (it also caused me a slight headache). I feel the fruity mango note here, although not mentioned, but it is less intense than in the Edp. After about twenty minutes the scent begins to change and I get the sandalwood cream (it is a very creamy perfume) and so much synthetic vanilla! It is incredible how they didn't mention vanilla, but for me this fragrance is very heavy on this note. I get no incense at all. So, from the strong jasmine opening to the generic and sweetish drydown, for me this fragrance is a NO, because of its redundancy and mediocre quality. 5/10

I have it like tester, I give chance to this little bottle everyday, but the disapoinment come ever and ever. At first come sweet rose smell and its too strong, than nothing, even I don't notice him. I wouldn't buy this parfume, good I had it like tester Update: I changed my mind about the duration. I wore the same blouse after 2 days and it still smelled like the perfume. In my opinion it is more for hot days. I was with him when it was warm and he really felt it. I will give a good rating for the longevity but not my taste, very bland and flowery

This scent reminds me a lot of cologne, I initially even believed it was unisex -but it's not. The longevity is not bad at all, spraying enough can make the scent last hours, especially if sprayed on clothes. The only problem is the scent is not very good, it reminds me a lot of the incense burned in churches which make my stomach churn. It's not an awful scent, but definitely not a safe blind buy.

It gave me a headache :( Very strong. The coconut in this is rather dry, like in Vanilla Powder. It has a tropical smell, almost like pineapples or mango added in the background. For me it is a no, but if you like Vanilla Powder and want a summer version, check this out.

Why does this exist??? Uninteresting, soft, boring jasmine with sandalwood, no noticeable incense. Very average scent with average performance in an absolutely ugly bottle. Would not want this even if it was for free! It’s ridiculously expensive for what it is..

Headache inducing and on my skin it turns slightly eggy like Divine from Gaultier. I do identify the similarity to Alien Goddess but Alien Goddess is way better. Update: After 1 hour on my skin I can barely smell it which means the "eggy" note is also gone. 👍

This perfume lasts no more than 2h. I had perfumes 7 times cheaper that lasted longer.... Dissapointing taking into consideration the price.

The bottle is cute, but the fragrance is... suffocating. The opening is a metallic floral, then it turns into a potent and heavy sweetness. It's basically and old lady perfume, not a fan.

This is cloying, it gave me headache every time I smelled it. Turns out Coconut water+Incense is an annoying combination. This is a big NO for me.

It gave me instantly a migraine. Too sweet and white floral notes seems artificial and mettalic.

I don' understand why the coconut doesn't appear as a note, since it is the main theme. The sweet and watery scent of coconut is everything in this perfume. It lingers all the time, with greater or lesser intensity. At first, it has a nutty and sugary touch like dried raw coconut (added to jasmine, for me it represents an amplified tuberose); but suddenly, it turns creamy, merging with a soft fruitiness as the flowers soften. Don't expect smokiness: the olibanum here is not burnt, and very, very mild. As it dries down, the coconut becomes more tender and watery over the musky base, which smells honeyed, creamy and woody, with a remaining hint of floral acidity. Please note that the intensity of this fragrance is real, although concealed (!): Few applications = happiness. Many applications = sinusitis. ;]

I am so glad I have this FAME and not any of the others- I feel like FAME Intense is the standout- and for good reason. There’s a wonderful bohemian beachhead quality to this- it’s giving that vibe of “grown up surfer girl off duty”... it’s very sweet and fruity and has that solar coconut jasmine ylang ylang note blend that can read as sunscreen smelling but it’s all in the background- the bergamot and vanilla incense notes are the stars here and they are cozy and very warm. The sparkling mango fruit notes just get better as it wears on my skin- it might not be the case for everyone but this is a wonderful combination of fruit, creamy incense and jasmine on me. I’m wearing this in hot weather and loving it so much.

It must be so confusing for people who aren't into perfumes in the way we mostly are, who'd see Fame Intense and assume it was just an intense version of the original. I'd have totally thought that myself at one point. I used to think EDT and EDP were just different concentrations of the same scent and would always have gone for the EDP thinking it'd be stronger. Even more so if there was an extrait. This sounds like it's gonna be a total departure from the original DNA. Having said that, I'm interested in smelling this. I've had a few carded samples of Fame and Fame Parfum so hopefully it'll pop up on my Facebook feed at some point.

What Roos88dutch says. Almost a copy of Alien Goddes. I don't mind, because, just pick the cheapest one, or when one gets discontinued, you still have the other. Things that aren't similar? Fame intense is a bit stronger because of the incense, I would say it's more for spring or autumn. I also made a long stroll between a mass of people in cold weather, I actually did a clothes switch, after I sprayed this on and I accidently must have sprayed in on my skin or hair, because the whole evening I got whiffs of coconut. Didn't get that really with Alien Goddess. Thought at first it was other people, but no, it was me. :)

The notes are wrong on this perfume on this site. This perfume smells to me like mango yogurt, passion fruit and sugar. I really like the mango yogurt part, but unfortunately it's way to sweet for me. The sugar you smell when you first spray it, it's too much. It stays very sweet even when it dries down. It's an ok tropical perfume. Compared to the original Fame, this Fame Intense has a note of incense in it, it's not very strong, the mango is the strongest note.

Coconuts burst opening, woody notes showed up then immediately became “ Coconut Incense “ the moment was the finale, after it slowly faded. Longevity was 4 hours max on my skin. I don’t know original FAME scent, I couldn’t compared with them. Comparison of other jasmine/tuberose dominant perfumes ( Born In Roma Intense, Scandal Absolue pour femme, MY WAY ), this is simpler and a bit better for my nose, but still heavy enough for me.

So, I got a tester and unfortunately it arrived shattered into pieces. Just opening the envelope gave me nausea. After disposing the envelope with its dried up contents in my bathroom trash can, interestingly, my bathroom smells beautiful and I started liking the scent. I will test this one again in a perfume store on my skin and revise my comment. Bottomline, I am intrigued.
