Invictus Parfum

An interesting take on the Invictus line. Somewhat what I was expecting here, but also very different. It's weird. One of my all time favorite frags is Invcitus Platinum, and I remember when I got that one, all I could smell was the sweet "bubblegum" vibe. As i wore it a few times, my nose opened up more to it and I could actually smell notes in it. Oddly enough, i just got this one in today, and yet again I'm met with a bubblegum sweet frag. I believe as time goes and I wear this, I'll have a similar experience. So to me, a lot of the comparisons here are as always, trash. This doesn't smell like Hawas, it doesn't smell like Scandal, i can see the comparison but the two are distinctly different, it doesn't smell like Y, it doesn't smell like Le Beau. How in the hell do you people continue to smell these things? They're not there. Lol. To me if I were going to make comparisons, for me this smells like Bad Boy Extreme, but if they made it for warmer weather, in the very opening i get a blast of Azzaro Most Wanted, but in a very different interpretation. The dry down of this fragrance though is rather unique I think. I have a couple of frags with this sort of profile to them (bad boy extreme, scandal parfum, Azzaro) but this one leans furthest into warmer weather i feel. The soapy musk sets it apart for me though enough to stand out by itself in my collection with no real comparison to anything else at the end of the day. Opening has a slightly aquatic vibe, mixing with the touch of lavender is nice, I don't quite understand the soapy note, atleast so far, it's not as soapy as it is musky and just clean. The sandalwood does stick out. These designer brands seem to use a very similar note, as this has it. As it dries it gets a very musky, slightly woody, kind of watery, soapy smell. it's just a nice all around smell. Longevity seems good, sillage seems good, all what I expect from the brand, which has done me well. Not much more to say, a good smell for relatively cheap, good in any weather, but I wouldn't wear this in insanely cold weather. Even then it's fine though. A great fragrance that I think will grow on me more and more.

When I first went to sephora, this was 1 of 3 colognes that I actually liked. Those colognes were Invictus Parfum, Ultra Male and YSL Y (I can't remember if it was edp or edp intense its been so long but I think it was EDP). However, something was different about this one that I liked from all the rest. It smelled smooth, and I couldn't describe it besides I just couldn't get enough. It smelled so good for no reason, I didn't understand it. I hated the entire azzaro line except for TMW which was mid, I absolutely despise every single valentino that they had when I went and the only valentino fragrances I have ever liked were OG uomo and uomo intense. I want to try extradose but I am afraid I won't like it either. But this fragrance didn't smell too sweet like every other fragrance, yet it still had a sweetness to it. It was clean and refreshing, it felt like if my nose was insanely thirsty and I got a fresh drink of cold water by smelling this. I can't describe it in any other way besides I am a D1 Invictus Parfum glazer and I am proud to be one. I haven't smelled it in a long time, but man I want this stuff. Definitely going to be my signature fragrance for the summer. I will write an update once I have purchased the fragrance and gotten a feel for it, I really hope it smells just as good as it did in store. I am very picky about my fragrances, and my tastes are according to my friend "horrendous", but he owns SWY Intensely, Le beau le parfum and an althair dupe, all of which I am not a big fan of so I will just stick to what fragrances make me happy. It is definitely expensive for me as I am only a teen and this fragrance costs as much as double my entire fragrance collection as I only have 2 fragrances that combine for a total of 65$. However, I think itll be worth it. Idc what ppl think I love this clean lavender woody smoothness.

Rabanne Invictus Parfum opens with a clean, modern sweetness that sits just behind bubblegum in intensity. The sweetness has a distinct grape-like character reminiscent of the nuance I noticed in the MYSLF line, while a subtle aquatic saltiness keeps it from becoming overly playful. It also reminds me of Y EDP in the way it pairs a pleasant synthetic sweetness with an aromatic edge, though it has its own identity. The opening is smooth, moderately airy, and immediately approachable. As it develops, a subtle spice and a sharp green note begin to emerge. The green facet has a similar feel to violet leaf without becoming gasoline-like, adding edge and contrast to the sweet, clean aquatic profile. These elements keep the fragrance from becoming one-dimensional, giving it more character while maintaining a smooth, medium-density texture. The drydown shifts toward a woody base while preserving much of the opening’s identity. The sweetness softens into an accent as the woods and musks become more prominent, but the green facets, clean soapy character, and salty aquatics remain present throughout. The result is a balanced woody finish that still feels connected to the opening rather than becoming a completely different fragrance. Overall, I really enjoyed this wear. While the fragrance is undeniably synthetic and sweet, it never becomes overbearing thanks to the contrast provided by the soapy, green, and aquatic elements. The drydown does a good job of maintaining parts of the opening while introducing woods and musks. My only criticism is that there may be almost too much contrast and too many ideas packed into one fragrance. It all works together, but narrowing the focus to one direction could have made it an even better fragrance. Even so, it’s a very enjoyable fragrance that works well as an easy anytime wear. Score: 8.0/10

Honestly a lovely fragrance. I got this as a sample when I bought my girlfriend's perfume, and fell in love immediately. My girl also loves aromatic scent, so this was definitely one of her favourites out of my collection. This starts off with blast of sweet, bubblegummy, fruity scent. I can definitely smell the marine notes and tiny bit of lavender off the top. Unfortunately, I cannot smell any sort of pepper, 0 spiciness. Then very dominant soap starts to shine as the time goes. This blends very well with that marine note and that delicious fruitiness. This is all backed by the muskiness that this fragrance has. When it fully dries down, the sweetness and soapiness dies down (still there though) and it's mostly musky powdery and woody scent. This fragrance is so creamy and nice, I can smell coconut/grapefruit in this fragrance. The soap in here is what makes this fragrance pleasant and mass appealing scent, but the muskiness and the fruitiness is what makes this fragrance really stand out from other freshies. This feels like a young guy coming out the shower, still wet, with different creamy fruits in his hand. This would shine the most during spring and summer, especially during the daytime. However, this could be worn any time and any day at any situations. The bottle design is very nice, I love a good fade of colours, so that's what works as an advantage for me. However, the atomiser is absolute TRASH. I wasn't expecting much from Paco Rabbane, and so I'm not impressed at all. 8/10

Have been wanting this for a while and the wife bought it for me for Christmas. I’m very happy. I have a range of scents ranging from designer to niche and I don’t get the hate for this. It seems like those who’s first niche, probably aventus or Naxos, have become the biggest posers and think they have the more sophisticated nose than everyone else. “It smells like pickles” you’re an idiot. What fucking pickles are you eating? It’s synthetic. Yeah! So are many others that are in your collection. “It’s for 15 year olds”. No. You saying that just tells me that you’re insecure with yourself, your style, and need compliments to make it through the day. Oh, you also need big labels on your clothes to let others know you’ve spent an exorbitant amount of money on a single polo. Gist over yourselves. Anyways, this is a great scent that will likely be my daily for work and my daily in the spring and summer. I enjoy the sweetness as it’s playful and different from everything else in my collection. You can read through comments all you want but in the end, go get your nose on it and formulate your own opinion on it.

I really like this. This flanker has that "ch bad boy" edge to it, which i like. Years ago i remember smelling a bad boy flanker at the mall and I can't remember which one but this has an unmistakable likeness to that fragrance. I do like wearing this, it can be your signature if you want it to. It's very versatile and is a good fit for any and every occasion/weather but so are all the other Invictuses. Typical modern designer flair with marine/lavender/musk being the most prominent notes to my nose. 7.9/10. This is growing on me. Blind bought this and I'm happy to say I'm not disappointed. Perhaps not the fragrance you write home about but Definitely blind buy safe. EDIT: So it starts off fresh with that bad boy vibe but as it dries down in about an hour, it turns gourmand-ish and loses some of that freshness for a more sweeter vibe. I love it. My only gripe so far is that you do need to overspray with this one. Definitely not a room filler but it leaves a nice trail. You can remedy this by going heavy on the sprays. Good thing it's available in a 200ml bottle is often on discounters too!

I smelled this fragrance on a tester strip in the store and liked it; it smelled like a simple, sweet, and syrupy grape. Later, I bought it, and my perspective completely changed. This perfume isn't just a candy-like grape; it’s a bitter, more mature grape—like a wine grape. The opening is a spectacle. After that, the soapy side starts to emerge—it’s like a lavender bar soap that makes you feel clean. Finally, you can sense the sandalwood; it’s a creamy and slightly sweet sandalwood. You can wear this perfume anywhere and at any time (except in high heat, as it can be a bit strong, or in extreme cold, where there might be better options). But for work, casual outings, daily wear, or just lounging at home, it works perfectly. It makes you feel clean—it’s a scent with presence and personality, featuring different stages that you can enjoy throughout the wear. The longevity is decent, lasting about 6–7 hours with 4–5 hours of good projection. Personally, it’s my signature scent—my 'wildcard' for when my other perfumes don't quite fit. I would definitely buy it again.

Invictus Parfum is clean, soapy, and aquatic, the kind of fragrance that feels effortlessly fresh and perfectly suited for the office. It is smooth, well blended, and just overall quality. Nothing groundbreaking, but sometimes you do not need groundbreaking, you just need something that works every single time, and this does. The bottle is still one of the coolest designs out there, that little trophy shape that looks great on display. My only gripe is the cap, which should have been metal instead of plastic. Still, it is a safe blind buy, and a solid addition if you want a fresh and versatile daily. Future edit: I went off it a little, victory absolu manages the same achievement of smelling clean and fresh, but it dials down the soapyness and instead adds amber and black pepper making it more masculine but in a soft sweet clean way. Invictus victory absolu is just the better option, I'll sadly be selling my parfum bottle despite it being virtually full. But I have no use for it now sadly, victory absolu is just better in every way 🤷🏼♀️

I have it, and all I can say is that this is going to blow up like bleu de chanel did back in the day, or at least how OG invictus did. It's very soapy, fresh, clean, that it can be worn any time, every time. As far as performance goes, I can't say anything because I just bought it today and didn't test it, but it looks promising. Plus I don't know any invictus that has bad performance so I don't worry about that too much. Edit: with 2 sprays on my hand, it goes well over 12 hours with very good projection. Keep in mind I work in a butchery and I get sweaty and I also washed my hands but this is still projecting a little bit now, when I'm writing this review. Solid solid fragrance and I'm 100% sure it will blow up like crazy, almost the new sauvage because the performance is this good and the scent profile works literally any second of the day. I love it!

I've had this fragrance for over a year now and I have to say I do enjoy it. It is a power house. No joke this is a 2-3 spray tops. I did 5 sprays when I got this. Chocked people out. This fills a room. Fragrance influencers say they can smell the whole Invictus line in this. I disagree. I believe it is 70% Legend and 30% OG EDT. This is a compliment machine. Leaves a scent trail like no other. I have walked by a group of people and down the hall I heard someone say, "Someone smells really good." I have sprayed this on my shirt with one spray. I can smell it after 24 hours. I have one other fragrance with that lasting power. Polo Green. Invictus Parfum Rabanne Summary: Projection - Power house 10/10 Performance - 10/10 Smell - 8/10

I've never owned a rabanne. Never appealed, whether its invictus or one million I've always thought meh. Oddly though not fairly, because I haven't smelt them all. I think I've fallen for certain reviewers saying generic etc and just decided wrongly from that. This is lovely, the lavender and marine notes are prominent and done well, it's nicely masculine and yea generic but said in a non negative way. I've said in other reviews that "mass appealing" is said soooo often in bad way when truth is, it just means it's good. Things don't always have to be complex, sometimes things don't have to evolve from opening notes to dry down. My partner loves it. So it gets a 👍from me👌

The initial blast reminds me a lot of the CH Bad boy cobalt. Surprised to see no plum or tropical note here. I really do not detect anything marine with this fragrance. I also don't get how soapy is an accord for this fragrance but not for all the Prada fragrances I've tried that actually are soapy 😂 Anyway as much as I disagree with half the listed accords here, I'm a huge fan of this. Very much a versatile aromatic aquatic woody fresh sweet fragrance that works for any occasion or time of the year in my opinion. Longevity and projection are excellent. If you like blue fragrances with a fruity/sweet touch, I can guarantee you'll enjoy this one. Successful blind buy

I think this cologne smells very pleasant. It is a little basic in that it’s very palatable, but I don’t think feel like it’s a copy and paste or anything. Bought this for autumn, but I don’t think it smells very outdoorsy at all, so it’s good for any season. It smells to me like a candle/soap store, which I guess makes sense. The musk is pretty noticeable to me, which keeps it from snaking too produced, in my opinion. Overall I think this has a unique enough smell to be kind of exciting, while also having a wide appeal. I bought full price cuz I’m rich and don’t buy cologne often, and I don’t feel cheated.

That perfectly captures my experience with Invictus Parfum. Right now, it’s my go-to "feel good" fragrance. Whenever I’m unsure what to wear or need something uplifting, I reach for this. And I think that’s what it’s all about. Not just how a fragrance smells, but how it makes you feel. And yes, it smells great too. :)

This has a soapy, clean, and aquatic 'fresh out of the shower' vibe. The performance surprised me! while the projection is great, it's very hard to overspray. This could easily work as a signature scent. I like how the sweetness is toned down compared to other Invictus flankers. While some might argue that it's too simple or lacks uniqueness, I still find it to be a fantastic, easygoing fresh fragrance. It may not be groundbreaking, but it's definitely a safe, reliable blind buy.

I tried various perfumes and asked my dad about the scent, “What do you think of this scent? Do you like it?” When it was my turn to give him Invictus Perfume, he immediately said, “I like it, it's very manly,” and yes, that's right 😅😅. This scent seems to be suitable for men, not boys. Maybe it's because the fresh musk smell makes it seem masculine. I'm still trying it out, and seeing how long it lasts on my skin and clothes. If it's good, it can easily get a 9/10.

I blind bought this one and man is it good. This starts off really fresh with the marine notes aswell as the lavender,then transforms into a kind of aquatic soapy type of fragrance. With a little bit of woodyness from the sandalwood witch i dont pick up that much. This is really versitale and i personally think this would work all year round. Longevity is about 8-9 hours with actually good projection. In my opinion its the best rabbane from the invictus line.

Added this gem to my collection, absolutely genius! I truly believe Invictus Parfum is one of the most versatile fragrances on the market right now. To my nose, it smells like a perfect blend of JPG Le Beau and YSL Y EDP. Just to test the theory, I actually layered both, and guess what? I got something nearly identical to Invictus Parfum :D. A brilliant, crowd pleasing scent that lasts all the day, and on some fabrics for the next day!

Got it from shoppers drug mart, 30% off + 50000 points back ($50 value) .... So I got it for $55 .... Cheaper than middle eastern pwrfumes. So can't complaint, just want to say its soapy, and lavendery with marine notes.... I am enjoying, its like you just washing your body with luxury soap and your window door is near the sea while your lavender aromatherapy is working on the side. Relaxing and mature at the same time

I’ve always liked Invictus EDT but it’s just a tad too bubble gummy for me, this is the perfect happy medium. It’s like Invictus EDT’s cooler older brother that went off to college and got laid. It’s got that bubble gum note but it’s tamed down a lot, it’s fresh and aquatic with a slight touch of wood. I’ve been layering it with LV Imagination and it’s 🤌🏻 chefs kiss, absolutely phenomenal.

High-key love this fragrance. The soap, casherman and marine notes are very prominent in this one, especially the soap note once the fragrance has lasted a few hours after application. The trigger also makes a satisfying sound which makes it fun to apply lmao. I feel as if it is versatile too and can be worn anytime and anywhere. Super office friendly.

opening is warm spicy ambroxan. as it settles there is a resemblance to its spicy cousin 1 million. dry down notes leave a pleasant clean smell that is very wearable. cool, sweet spice. I tested over 20 fragrances in sephora, and this one stood out as the best fragrance, with valentino born in roma intense as a close second. very good daily fragrance.

No shit everyone is different but don’t come here preaching gospel about pickles and then give it a shit rating because your nose is different. There are other quality notes that can be mentioned. This is really really nice, went to my local Sephora about three times and I always smelled this one, is such a nice sweet, musky and soapy fragance, think about a grape candy, in a great way tho! Picked it up for half the price from the local store at Jomashop, this does NOT disappoint, it’ll take you through a whole 9-10 hr shift for sure!

This is a weird one. It's a greenish-soapy-sweet mixture that shouldn't work but it does. To my nose this has a creamy or smoothness to it that I really like. I don't understand the hate for it. It's probably because it's not the typical super sweet crowd-pleaser. This is very inoffensive and works every season, day or night.

Smelled it when it came out and it’s been on my list since. Finally got it for christmas. It reminds me of drinking a tropical soda under palm trees with clear water. it smells like a vacation. It’s very clean and salty, keeping the same invictus dna. I’d recommend for any hot days, or if you want to smell clean and soapy.

Clean and masculine. Not too sweet or too dry. Something about the sweetness in this one reminds me of the John Varvatos XX scents (Original, Indigo and Intense). Don't really get the comparison to Bad Boy Cobalt except that they're both versatile and can fit into the blue genre in general. Solid longevity.. Good juice.

Hands down, the best invictus ever. The opening is an aromatic but somewhat sweet and fresh and playful. The drydown it’s a bit more masculine and mature which I like. The longevity is pretty good for a fresh fragrance and I really love it. In my opinion, this is one of my favorite fragrances 9/10

Among my favorite and most complimented designer fragrances. Ideal for warm weather, age 20s-40s, and date night (warm weather) appropriate. I appreciate the transition from sweet and youthful opening to woody dry down that others have noted. On my skin in high heat, this thing just performs. 9/10

This one is good. Not as redundant as you'd think after reading the reviews below.... Performance is stellar. One of the best drydowns on the designer market at the moment. I do get a slight twinge of the 'sourness' some have mentioned, but only if oversprayed, and only up-close. Don't overspray.

This is such a positive fragrance. Sometimes we are tired of gourmands or heavy niche and middle east fragrances. And this is perfect for a "pause", without being generic or the showergel type. Clean, playful but still mature, very good performances and give you a luxury vibe. Well done Rabanne!

This fragrance is an 8.5/10. its sweet like berries in the beginning and also has aquatic/ ocean notes (aquatic notes are similar to Montblanc legend spirit). it also has a bubble gum dna similar to hawas. this scent can work well all year around and is the best out of the whole invictus line

One of my favourite fragrances. Aquatic, soapy, slightly sweet, mellow and long lasting. I absolutely love this one. All day for me on skin. The fact that currently, 91 weirdos think this smells like Victory Elixir is mind boggling! Get your noses checked! Scent - 9/10 Performance - 9/10

I was skeptical about buying Invictus Parfum because I was reading that it lacks performance, I bought it yesterday and used it at work today, I sprayed 6 sprays total, i couldn't smell myself 2 hours later but I received a compliment in hour 7th. This is the Ultimate Invictus !!

Invictus is my wife’s favorite scent that I’ve ever owned so when I let her smell this in store she said that’s an absolute yes to buy. I feel like it’s the slept on Invictus flanker. It doesn’t really get talked about much. Definitely a more masculine smell compared to the OG.

One of the best aromatic “blue” freshies I’ve smelt, it’s so unique and addictive. I friend sprayed it in Sephora and I smelled it and instantly got it, blind buy worthy, idk how anyone could dislike it, just smells like a fancy clean If that makes sense. 9/10 for me

Very good men's scent. Somehow giving me chrome and wanted tonic vibes, must be that clean/fresh note. Of course, it has a little lavender spice to it, but it's really inoffensive UNLESS you hate any non-fresh scent (if that makes sense). Day and night, any season.

Invictus Parfum is a clean, soapy twist on the Rabanne line and it works. It stands out from the sea of sweet designer vanillas with a fresher edge. Easy compliments. Loud enough to get noticed but still smooth. Worth having in a collection.

Yea this is good. It’s like a creamy invictus. Almost like vanillic soap? Really good. Great performance. I think if you were to only get one invictus this would be it. Invictus Aqua, and invictus platinum are right up there too for me.

Fluffy and dense sweetness. Opens with an inviting sweetness that is slightly oceanic amidst bubblegum and a slight soapy attribute. Soothing and creamy sandalwood at the end. If you enjoy sweet scents this may entertain you.

By far the best invictus out of the entire line. This one is very easy to wear and has really good performance. Smells fresh and clean and not that sweet which is nice. One thing that surprised me was how good the sillage is!

I really dont understand the reviews. Honey, salty? Its just a very beautiful soapy take on Invictus. I wasnt a big fan of the line, but Parfum and Platinum are amazing fragrances. Both of them give me a confidence boost.

This is truly amazing. Especially the dry down. Wonderful mix of wood and breeze with a tiny bit of sweetness. It's SO good. Extremely versatile. Day, night, winter, summer, office, night out. My only 10/10 so far.

I don’t look down my nose at paco rabanne fragrances. I’m able to appreciate them on their own terms. This stuff is superb. You can smell the OG in this, but this is just better, imo. Performance is outstanding.

A perfect everyday fragrance, very clean, smooth scent. Soapy and aquatic that can't become overpowering if you sprayed too much. Dries down to be very soothing and enjoyable and lasts a long time.

An excellent marine, woody, and soapy fragrance that evokes a quiet sensuality. I love simple perfumes that still make an impact; this one has become my signature scent - the best in the line imo.

One of the best perfumes I used to spray and still spraying. The opening of this scent is tough somehow but still it is really nice perfume which gets me the most compliments. totally recommended

The musky Sandalwood drydown is manly charming. I am pleased to find it appropriate for office and long lasting. A grown up version invictus, woodier and manlier.
