Million Gold Elixir

Upon the initial spritz, I was greeted with a delightful burst of sweet vanilla, perfectly balanced by a refreshing citrus note. This fresh citrus adds a lovely brightness that softens the sweetness, lingering for about 10 minutes before it gradually fades away. After that, the scent beautifully transitions to a heart centered around creamy, light sandalwood, with vanilla still in the mix. As the fragrance develops over time, around the six-hour mark, the sandalwood emerges as the dominant note. It offers a dry and smooth woody aroma that anchors the scent, while the vanilla lingers softly in the background, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. In terms of performance, Million Gold Elixir truly impresses. The initial projection is a sweet vanilla bomb, and even from a sample vial, I noticed strong projection lasting for about six hours. After that point, the scent remains closer to the skin but continues to cling to my clothing, showcasing Rabanne's knack for creating lasting fragrances.

Million Gold Elixir is perfection in a bottle. Vanilla, sandalwood, and orange come together in a way that is smooth, warm, and addictive, and as soon as I wore a sample I knew I had made a mistake choosing Le Male Elixir over this. It is rich, elegant, and severely underrated, easily one of the best in the 1 Million line. The only downside is the bottle. Rabanne really need to ditch the gaudy gold bar design, it looks tacky and cheap compared to the juice inside. If they followed the women’s line with those angular jewel-shaped glass bottles, this would feel as classy on the outside as it smells on the inside. As it stands, the fragrance is flawless, the packaging not so much.

I get compliments everytime I wear this.. the million line has yet to disappoint me and yet again this gold elixir is top notch, the creamy vanilla and sandalwood is a huge standout super playful without a doubt one of my favourite flankers from the line.. if you have a chance to get your sniffer on it I recommend it heavily and if you can’t it’s still blind buy safe I’m giving this a 10/10!! The people who say it smells like BO are probably are smelling their top lip.. never once have I ever smelled anything that even close resembles that with this perfume but goes to show everyone’s olfactory senses aren’t the same

My new favorite Rabanne. I thought it was gonna be boring and too similar to 1 Million (something about 1 Million rubs me the wrong way). But this was an absolutely gorgeous scent. I got a sample in the Macy's 12 Days of Scents for Him. It's great for winter but honestly I could see it being a spring/summer scent. It was super sweet and the vanilla had an aromatic quality especially at first that reminded me of the original Phantom. The mandarin actually lasted a long time. It's a very one-note fragrance in that the scent doesn't change/develop a lot. It's an intoxicating, addictive scent.

Another really good one in the Million line from Raynaud and Bisch. They also did Royal, which is my favorite so far. Plenty of vanilla and sandalwood to make this one amply sweet, creamy and well-suited for cool weather. If you favor strong vanillic and/or sandalwood scents or if you don't have a good one in this category yet, you'd do well to check this one out. (While we're on the subject of sandalwood, "This Is Him" by Zadig & Voltaire is another great scent in this genre, and you can get it for about half the price of the Rabanne.)

I personally absolutely love this one. I've also been looking at the Million Lucky. I don't really care for the original versions that much. I've actually smelled them on other people and think they smelled better on them versus myself, but for me personally this is very different from the originals, and I absolutely love it. It's a sweet vanilla scent. It projects really well. It performs even better. It seems to last pretty much half a day, 7 or 8 hours, and I can smell it on my clothes the next day. Highly recommend.

Here comes my first review; This is a line I hadn't followed since the original 1 Million. I never really liked 1 Million but this one completely won me over. I'm smelling far more complexity than the listed notes. The first evening I wore it I received a lot of compliments and felt like it drew people closer to me. Both the people around me and I genuinely enjoyed its presence. It's a great choice for a night out, equally suitable for both energetic and more relaxed occasions. It can feel a bit heavy for morning wear.

Let me start off by saying, this fragrance smells great. I haven't really smelled a Rabanne fragrance that I haven't actually liked. It's safe to say that this is super mass appealing. However, it isn't mind blowing by any means. It's a simple gourmand like vanilla and woody fragrance. It reminds me of some type of vanilla wafer. Very edible smelling to me. Not ground breaking but you can't deny that it smells really good. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it gets the job done for what it is.

My favourite in the line, and I hated the Million Gold. This loses all the body odour/curry vibe from the first one. This smells exactly like the notes and the reviewer below who predicted it smelling like a creamsicle wasn't too far off. Creamy sandalwood/powdery vanilla with an orange freshness but not fruity or sweet. Very subtle and clean and smooth smelling. Strangely enough people in my office said I smelled of coconuts but it got a lot of compliments.

I laugh about this so called reviews. Most of these people dont own a bottle and maybe tried it on paper at their local fragrance store. So here is my quick and simple two cents about it owning the original million gold. This is in fact, a true elixir. Beast mode, and very well done. It has the same DNA of the original million gold but with a super nice vanilla/ Sandalwood twist. I went ahead and bought a 200ml of it and im glad i did. Solid 9.5/10.

I typically don’t care for most of the flankers in the 1 million line up, I like Royal and Lucky and that’s about it. But this one I got as a sample from a ad on social media and it’s really nice. It’s definitely a cold weather fragrance or maybeeee a date night scent so for this to launch at the beginning of summer is strange however, I might pick this up for when it cools down again.

This is the best fragrance from the 1 million line, sweet woody with a slight orange twist. I fell in love with it the first time I sprayed it on my skin, kept smelling it for hours. This is not a blind buy as it is a sweet fragrance, however it smells sophisticated and not synthetic. If you are into sweet fragrances then you will adore this one.

Opens with a sweet citrus and ends with a creamy sandalwood. Its dry down is akin to JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden, with Quentin Bisch being the nose behind both fragrances. Good for all seasons but will perform best in cold or air conditioned environments. Strong sillage and longevity of 6-8 hours. Grab this if you love sweet sandalwood scents.

Best gormand vanilla men’s designer fragrance of 2025 with a fresh mandarin in the opening and some sandalwood in the dry down but the vanilla is there all the way through. Still has the OG dna in the background if you dig your nose in it. Best buy of the year for me. As well as the Jean Paul Le Male Elixir Absolu

Edit: I glazed this a bit too hard but its still nice THIS is the best 1 million of all time. For me it’s a bit more citrusy that I like, but I love that heavy dose of vanilla and just smells so beautiful. A very good flanker that rabanne has done. One of my favorite fragrances, it’s just smells so tasty. 8.4/10

I own it, loved it from the first time I smelled it in the duty-free of Dubai. It felt very fresh at the first glance, has some fruits in it from the yellow mandarin that keeps tingling your nose with a doze of freshness from the top to the bottom of the perfume. Worth buying 100% my new signature scent

Weirdly reminiscent yet so good and different - let me explain my take on this. It really surprisingly starts with a similarity to my JPG Le Beau Le Parfum. But changes quickly to warm citrusy vanilla on bed of warm woods and sawdust-y powdery delightfulness. Truly my favourite from the 1 Million-line.

I wasn't a fan of this collection but after trying the tester,I think this is the best one million so far.For all sandalwood lovers this is heaven in a bottle and lasts all day.A 200ml bottle is also available with an affordable price. P.S. Buy it and leave it for next autumn/winter to be safe.❤️

Blind bought Gold Elixir. I've only tried it once so far and it reminds me a lot of 1 Million Royal but with the best bits of 1 Million Parfum and 1 Million Elixir added in, and with its own little twist. The performance and sillage is beast mode too.

Expert level sandalwood, amazing fragrance.

I'm wary of sandalwood heavy "men's" perfumes. I got a sample of this and assumed it was gonna be boring based on the notes but I like this a surprising amount on me (not a man). it started super strongly mandarin with a really loud sweet booziness like I spilled a sugary bourbon cocktail on myself. turned into a spicy sandalwood that is frankly too strong at first, like your uncle who wore too much cologne to church, but mellows out nicely. reminds me of this particular smell I get at the Lincoln Park Conservatory greenhouse that I can never place. it gives a kind of luxurious, planty spice that I like. didn't get almost any vanilla from it until a few hours in. eating fresh fruit in your newly built treehouse in a hot jungle before you go show up fashionably late to a really good party. clubby but intelligent. romance novel love interest who's a botanist or zoologist or something actually interesting. truly unisex to me, but definitely not "girly." and would be sexy in the summer. open ya mind. note from next day: reapplied one spray on my wrists yesterday at about 6:30pm. it's 11am now and i have this lingering balsamic powdery vanilla on my arms that i can't stop huffing edit: keep thinking about this fragrance. I wish the sandalwood was toned down just a tiny bit, but it's addictive anyway.

I enjoy the simplicity of this one but have other vanillic sandalwoods I'd reach for over this, as they are heavier, thicker creamier and woodier. One aspect of this that is semi unique is how it is rather lightweight in nature despite its overall composition of almost all warm notes. The violet leaves really help here, and make this something you could wear year round. Still, to my nose it's just too thin and artificial smelling to personally desire a bottle. Go for Kalemat or Oud Save the King if you want this vibe done more richly natural.

A very crisp opening, with a pronounced mineral impression, cool and slightly salty. The mandarin may be adding a touch of brightness to that effect. Then a spicy facet begins to emerge, and I seem to detect a hint of nutmeg. There’s also a sweet vanilla note running through it, but I find the overall composition quite well-balanced - there’s no clash between what I perceive as the “mineral” aspect and this sweeter facet. In the drydown, the sandalwood settles in and asserts itself a little more. To me, Million Gold Elixir is a lovely, soft and comforting fragrance, even if it's rather classic. I believe it’s the kind of scent that could appeal to a broad audience, being suitable for any occasion and any age. Personally, I found it really charming.

This fragrance feels like a dessert in a bottle. It opens with a sweet fig note (not listed) reminiscent of D&G, K, or Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Beau Le Parfum — though it fades very quickly. The spotlight is on a caramelized mandarin, leading into a rich, milky and creamy heart. It truly smells like a sweet, smooth dessert, very much in the style of Ferragamo Uomo, but even more intense. It’s a sweet bomb with an almost edible texture — warm, cozy, and deeply addictive. Perfect for informal nighttime outings, in cold weather, and aimed at a younger audience looking to stand out with something sensual and comforting. It’s not a reinterpretation of the original 1 Million; it has its own modern gourmand identity. Personally, I really enjoyed it.

Let me say, you have one you have all. Yet another flanker from a known brand. So if you are new to Million you should give it a try. It has a good projection and longevity but the essence of the juice is the same, sweet vanilla with a citrusy opening and a powdery dry on which is SWEET. I could smell cinnamon after 30 minutes. I give it a strong 3,9 out of 6. A compare between this and original you will find it toward to powdery while the original is more cinnamon and leather. longevity is good. On me it lasted around 4-5 hours which is good because perfumes aren't lasting on me very long. Test it

This smells too similar to other cheap sweet woody gourmand fragrances like Lattafa Khamrah and 24 gold. I do enjoy the smell, which is basically a sandalwood accord smothered in delicious vanilla, which would be hard for anyone not to like, but from a creative standpoint it’s redundant and uninspired. As far as value for money, I would recommend passing on this one and going for one of the aforementioned fragrances which will cost you much less and smell just as pleasant.

Azzaro Wanted By Night X 1 Million Elixir - I like it. Reading the comments I thought it would be synthetic but I actually really enjoy it. The mandarin lasts a while too and the drydown is lovely. As always try for yourself, everything smells different on different skins and everyone has different tastes. Pleasantly surprised since I usually find the Million flankers underwhelming. A very solid perfume, give it a try!

Tested it today in Spain. It's OM Gold (Santal 33) mixed with One Milion Elixir, just like the name says. Not bad, creamy sandal wood variant of all the typical sweet notes present in the lineup. I believe the listed notes are added to the existing Gold flanker. I can't believe so many people are making comments and rate, not having smelled it. Crazy. It's not bad, it will be a love/hate thing.

I might be one of the few to love this, but it opens up with a kinda dark coffee smell, and vanilla similar to 1 million elixir, then the coffee smell fades into a woody vanilla, with other notes I can't distinguish, longevity is really good, I get 12+ hours, but the dry down isn't as good as 1 million elixir, that's a way more smooth and way better version of this

This line usually isn’t for me, but I love this one. The combination of freshness yet sweetness is perfect, making its simplicity the epitome of less is more. Projects a few feet (smelled it first on a coworker), and lasts quite a while. I’ll do a better test for longevity tomorrow and edit this.

Very basic sweet woody-vanilla scent. Most people will like it, and probably will atract compliments, but the fragrance itself is nothing groundbraking. Smells nice, but there are many more interesting options than this one.

Doesn’t come close too the elixir in my opinion and it also smells very similar to bad boy extreme so I’m glad I got a sample because this has been on my radar along with bad boy also. Still a solid 7/10.

7.3/10 It's better than the original million gold. It's just stronger in general, the coconut note is even more pronounced (not an official note). Still not as good as the original elixir.

This is the only vanilla heavy fragrance that doesn't smell like body odor on my skin, so I like it. It's still a bit too sweet for my tastes, I can't lie.

@Jettinted, I gotta agree even though I own le beau le parfum, the opening is nice, but the dry down is so synthetic, and I actually like coconut?!

Smells like a slightly sophisticated honeyed creamsicle scent. I am not mad at it and I am not wowed either. It’s cool.

I really enjoy this, smells like the og with more vanilla, longevity is good too. 8/10

Is it just me or does this smell like a citrus christmas tree?

All these fragrances just... smell the same. And I don’t mean this line, I mean generally. The new fragrances from popular designer houses just give off the same energy, one after the other: “I’m 16, I’ve decided to try and buy my own fragrance for the first time instead of just using that aquatic/freshie my parents gifted me. Wait what??!! Guys are allowed to smell sweet?! I didn’t know that! Are you sure? OK, there’s a guy on the poster, so it *is* for men... This is awesome!!! I’m gonna wear this everywhere!”

Woman here. Honestly, I do not like smelling this fragrance on a man. I get mostly a tropical fruity vibe from Million Gold Elixir, but the whole composition is overshadowed by a very strong, offensive and scratchy ambroxan-like note. I guess one has to be anosmic to those harsh and musky notes in order to fully enjoy this fragrance and to be able to compare it to Samsara by Guerlain, one of the finest sandalwood creations.

Creamy, warm and comforting fragrance with good sillage. Reminds me of Boss The Scent Elixir, I'm guessing because of sandalwood and vanilla (though vanilla isn't listed on Boss) in the drydown. I'm not a huge fan of this dry down but it's just due to personal preference.

the worst perfume in my collection, i love it and hate it at the same time, it smells similiar to one milion line but worse , so if you like it you might like this Just buy Elixir if you want a good rabanne fragnance

Perfume con bastante presencia de vainilla, pero esta vainilla que se puede encontrar en la misma línea de Victory Elixir e Invictus Parfum. Por alguna razón le siento como un toque mentolado. Cinco de diez.

A not bad, dumb reach, inoffensive cold-weather fragrance. I think it's better than most of the Million line but that bar is pretty low for me.
