Olympéa Flora

Had to get this. Tried the tester the other day, opening is really reminiscent of YSL Babydoll which I used to wear when I was like 17 and loved, later on the fruitiness paired with the patchouli also reminded me of Montale Oudmazing, couldn’t get the creamy, salty, fruity scent out of my mind so picked it up 15% off today in Boots. Not a huge fan of the original; Legend, Intense & Blossom have been surprise loves for me, this takes the elements I love from blossom and amps them up - the blackcurrant, pink pepper, creamy sorbet, vanilla and salt really shine for me. Like blossom, I feel this may need some time to develop before you can appreciate the fullness of the fragrance, and will need overspraying, projection is low-moderate and the one tester spritz on my forearm lasted around 6-7 hours and I smelt wafts of it for about 5hrs. Prep your skin well! I am so looking forward to wearing this beauty on holiday and warm summer nights. Glad I got this instead of another bottle of blossom as I find this sweeter, creamier, and the almost peachy sorbet opening is so nostalgic. Would not pay full price, just like with any other designer fragrance now and for the foreseeable future, wait for a discount. Edit: I don’t get Delina or Nova from this, there is no sharpness to my nose and Flora is less rose centric than those two. They all have a slight ‘sweaty’ - musk and salt vibe but I wouldn’t say they are similar scents as I don’t love Delina, and detest Nova, but could drench myself in this. It’s definitely giving Babydoll 😍 Have been wearing this for a few days now - longevity is great, can still smell it on me the next day upon waking after applying the morning before - definitely an intense version, think the projection will be much better in warmer weather

This fragrance is the one that got me into fragrance for the first time about 6 months ago so it definitely has a special place in my heart. It was the only perfume I owned until quite recently so it was my signature scent for quite a while. I honestly don’t know why this one doesn’t get any hype because I think it is lovely. If this scent was a colour (and I’m not just saying this bc of the bottle) it would definitely be a hot pink or maybe a coral colour. It definitely has warm weather vibes for me which is good bc where I live there is pretty much only warm weather, but I don’t think it would be offputting to wear in cold weather at all. It’s fruity and refreshing on first spray, then it starts to become sort of like a Turkish delight as the rose comes out, and then after a while the vanilla makes an appearance and it becomes more sweet than refreshing. I’ve sadly gone a tiny bit nose blind to this one from wearing it so much so I’m trying to detox so I can hopefully enjoy it again. Lasting power is moderate on skin but very long on clothes, and it projects well without being overpowering. And of course the bottle is absolutely gorgeous! As a side note if you don’t like original Olympea- neither do I and I think this is not similar at all despite being a flanker.

it’s a sweet fruity floral. to me, it smells like a mix of burberry her and lancôme idole (which is incredible to me bc they’re both my faves) i think it’s the rose note that is played so similarly to idole and the sweetness resembles burberry her’s. i wouldn’t call this a gourmand but something about it feels like it. it’s a stunning perfume. it can be too sweet for some but I think the sweetness is incredible and works wonderful here. i had to spray quite a bit tho. idk if it was just this one time bc i checked it out while having another perfume on already. it stays EXTREMELY WELL. especially on clothes but also on the skin. it’s been a few days and I can still smell it! overall quite good! it’s quite pricey though so i’m waiting with this one!

Listen, I absolutely love this perfume. The entering notes are stunning, sweet, fruity, it's so intoxicating you want to keep sniffing it like crazy. But that's it, doesn't offer much more than that bomb of heaven... In the next two hours you will not smell it :( and for the price, the perfume decays relatively quick (after just six months mine started smelling oddly) and it starts smelling like ruined cheap perfume... I would not recommend getting it, maybe if you collect the olympea perfumes.

tried on a spritz while shopping because i was looking at it for my mum because i assume we'd have similar skin chemistry its very nice - to me it smells like burberry her edp but more mature? it makes me smell like im employed my mum does like it and i convinced her to try it on - depending on how it goes by the end of the day i might get it for her for christmas

Good and fun perfume. Fruity and youthful. The only Olympea perfume I've considered owning, even though I found the Blossom flanker to be nice. But its definately not worth the retail price, got my eyes on a second hand bottle. Would be wonderful for summer! : )

As soon as I sprayed the sample I got Marc Jacobs Lola and Lola Velvet which were favourites of mine - a darker, sweet floral with a woody drydown. A grown-up fruity to add to the Olympea pantheon - this one is more Hera than Aphrodite.

The best combination of rose, pepper & woods, and salted vanilla in the base and not in your face. In my opinion, the best formula and the most office appropriate of the range.

Why no one talks about how beautiful this perfume ??? The blackcurrant isn’t overwhelming, it performs like edp not edp intense , very feminine scent I really like it ❤️🔥

I like it a lot it was the signature perfume of my ex fiancée so I still have a big plastic decant of it she gave me so yeah for the memories I like it 👍

It's like Victor Rolf's Flower Bomb. Sweet but complicated. Interesting. Hard to tell a single fruit or flower apart.

Just received my official little 0.3ml sample from Paco Rabanne. So far I’d have to say it is my FAVOURITE of the Olympéa line so far 😍👏🏻 It reminds me of the whole Delina Exclusif/Very Good Girl DNA. Almost a touch of Angel Nova in there too.. but with the saltiness of the original Olympéa. It’s very pleasing on the nose.. and for a Designer scent it ticks the boxes for me 😁👍🏻 Gave a nice sillage on the opening but not too impressed with the longevity after a couple of hours.. maybe it’s one you have to spray on a bit heavier. I’m getting a faint soft vanilla-y dry down now but I want more of the opening! So not overly blown away with the performance, but I find myself wanting another sample of it.. So even if it isn’t the best performing, it certainly has an addictive quality that has captivated me 😍. One to watch 😍👍🏻❤️

With over 300 purchases in the last 5 months. This is still the one that has gotten me the most compliments which is very surprising. First I have to say this is not a favourite at all nor is it in my top 20. But it sure is mass appealing coz the compliments chase me when I wear this. And I do not say that lightly. (I posted a clip from a live stream when someone came up to me and said I smelled expensive) to me it’s not “expensive” smelling at all, but it is wuite unique and projection is crazy! It does lean very floral to my nose and I do not suggest blind buying this as some friends who loved it on me hated it on themselves. Longevity is strong on me.

It's a beautiful, delicate rose scent with vanilla, slightly sweet sorbet and delicate black currant. The rose here is mature covered in dew, but delicate and light. A light, barely perceptible sweetness is felt from the beginning to the end. I think it's similar to "red shoe" of Good Girl, but Flora is softer. A beautiful, delicate and feminine scent. The longevity and sillage is quite good, enough for a day. It has some similarities with Olympea Blossom. I like the black flowers on the bottle , good idea and unusual! I like both the sent and the bottle!

I love blackcurrant and vanilla scents and this one doesn’t disappoint! I’d say I’m somewhere in between ‘like’ and ‘love:’ it was the fragrance I decided to try on my skin after spraying a bunch on test strips, and while I enjoy it, I’m not tripping over myself to buy a full bottle of it. Good for day or night and wearable year-round, although I do think it’s better suited for spring/fall than the cold of winter. I’m not a huge fan of the Olympea line but this one is pretty different from the rest imo

Now this... this is such a lovely fragrance. It’s sweet, floral, playful—maybe even with a splash of sexy. Olympea Flora opens with juicy berries and soft petals, and it settles into something warm, smooth, and totally addictive. My boyfriend always compliments my perfumes, but this one? He always notices. It’s flirty, feminine, and just the right mix of bold and pretty. If you love sweet florals with a confident, seductive twist, Olympea Flora is a must-try <3

Dare I say, this flanker is more interesting than the OG Olympéa, it is almost a reinterpretation of the perfume rather than a new take. This fragrance is blackcurrant and rose leaning to my nose. The vanilla-salt quality that endeared me to Olympéa is more of a background DNA rather than a marching band. A very interesting fruity floral is the main meat of the opening while a vanilla-pink floral is the dessert of the drydown. This is not a linear fragrance.

got the little sample recently and it smells lovely, very sweet and feminine. something i would get when it gets warmer. it almost smells like a cough sweet to me at the beginning. this is the first olympea perfume I've smelt so i dont know how it fairs to other perfumes in the line I'm definitely interested in trying the rest as well.

I like this but prefer the Olympea Blossom flanker from this line as it’s softer than this one and that’s more my style. But if you like sweet fruity florals there’s a good chance you’d enjoy this. It almost has a dessert wine vibe to me with the ripe sweetness of the fruits.

The blackurrant, rose and pear really shines here. The patchouli really is the cherry on top to help balance the salty note. I would say it's more a sweet earthy rose in the drydown.

I like it , it's a fruity floral scent, it's a good scent but i don't know why i smell an arabian perfume vipes in it..i know that's weird but that's what i got from it

Not amazing on its own but I use this perfume to layer with other perfumes I don’t like as much and it makes amazing combos. Better than any single perfume so far

No one can tell me this isn’t Dark Kiss by Bath and Body Works (my signature scent age 14)

Love at first sniff. Girly, sweet, fun, youthful and long lasting.

Upon the very first sniff, I've thought to myself "Another Delina Exclusif wannabe?". I can see the CH Very Good Girl resemblance as well. Do I consider this to be a nice smelling fragrance? I do, but that's what perfumes are intended to be in the first place, so how does this one stand out? This doesn't bring anything new to the table, nor it is mind-blowing, and the performance is average. Personally I can't justify purchasing this. I'm not a niche snob at all. I wear whatever performs very well and smells great so that includes dupes as well, but when it comes to this scent profile I do recommend just saving up and getting the actual Delina Exclusif because its sillage, projection and longevity are beast mode. Not only that, but it is absolutely magnificent and blended to perfection, making it worth every penny.

Very stingy 0.3ml carded sample- barely one use. First impressions it's a very fresh peony rose, then the salt chimes in making it a slightly sweaty rose. Then you get an avalanche of syrupy blackcurrants. Then it fades very quickly into a pleasant but super soft sweet skin scent. You've smelt this a million times before. Been done better before too but I'm sure many will enjoy it and that's fine. Blossom is the only one of this line I have enjoyed, I just don't think Paco Rabanne works for me.

The bottle is absolutely stunning, but the scent itself is the archetype of the fruity/sweet perfume you find everywhere, built around that all-too-familiar rose and blackcurrant duo. It’s not bad per se, but it feels a bit overdone and much too sweet. Even within the “fruity/jammy” theme, there are far more appealing options out there: less sugary, more elegant, and better crafted. Such a shame, really, because the bottle is truly gorgeous.

This is very fruity! A black currant bomb. I can smell the rose too and it is done nicely, feminine, romantic and young. It’s a pleasant spring scent, specially for dreamy ladies, but it may be too strong for some and it’s not really original. It reminded me of the Si line. So, if you like that kind of fragrance, you will like this one. Just don’t expect a floral version of Olympea, because it bears no ressemblance.

did not expect to like this as much as I do since usually rose or peony aren't my favourites but this is a beautiful mix! the opening gives sugared fruits with a sassy pink pepper, and there is a hint of original Olympea in the mix, I'd hope that the salt / vanilla would be a bit more prominent though. a bit too expensive so I could justify buying this, but this is on my list waiting for a discount ;)

i love the OG olympea, so i was excited to try a couple of the flankers. i didnt realize this was a fruity floral- including a note i usually hate, which is peony. but my hate for the note aside, this is just... boring. really boring. it has none of the olympea DNA in it. i guess if you are a fan of frags such as delina but want a more simple and easy-reach option, you could like this.

Olympea Flora is very sweet from the start - the opening is a blast of rose & vanilla, with a bit of salt - very reminiscent of Lancome Idole Aura. I get the associations with other Lancome fragrances as well, as this smells a lot of LVEB en Rose. I'm a big fan of Olympea Solar, this I'm going to pass.

I tried a sample this morning but it's so weak that from the beginning I didn't smell anything at all. I can't even tell if I like it or not, I just can't smell anything.

A fruity candy with a little bit patchouli. As a floral and fresh note lover, it is too sweet for me. Yes, too joyful, energetic and girlish ☺️ it is suitable for under 25 I think. It is not like a flanker of mature Olympea.

It would be pretty if the black currant wasn't so so so overwhelming. I do not want to smell like black currant please.

Mediocre sweet and musky fruity-rose, bland and does not fly higher than a sanitary product

So many people seem to like it that I thought long and hard before posting my opinion - it's an unpopular one. I find this perfume hideous. It smells like it was made without appreciation for scent or nuance. Basically, it's sugar on top of caramelized sugar toppled with powder sugar - this toxic mix is then sprinkled both on the already over-sugared black currant jam and and the sickly sweet patchouli tray the jam is served on. There might me some rose in there, but you wouldn't tell because it's a lipsticky jam kind of rose that cannot break through the sugar coating layer. The overwhelming sweetness kills everything and makes not only your nose, but also your teeth and head ache. It smells like all the mass market designer fragrances from the women's isle poured into one single bottle - an average of the popular scent profiles. Without the name and the bottle you'll have difficulties telling it apart from most other designer female scents. An intentionally average perfume for people with naively average tastes? To each their own, and if you like it - wear it with pride, but I am horrified by this perfume (and by the bottle - hard to tell which is more hideous). Why is it called "Floral" when the main dominant note (apart from sugar syrup) is black currant (a berry, not a flower last time I checked). I guess it just shows how little the makers cared. All they wanted to do is put out another flanker with a smell that tracks the popular preferences of unsophisticated majority of consumers as closely as possible. They succeeded. Don't be the consumer they take advantage of.

got a 6ml sample at the perfume store with my order, tiny copy of a real bottle — looked so charming. i also appreciate original “Olympea” even though i’m not a huge fan of it. but this version got me soooo disappointed! it gives cheap gas station sweet floral body spray. i don’t feel any spark of complexity. a pinch of salt doesn’t make it’s sweetness less overwhelming, but only more suffocating.

The very beginning of the opening is BEAUTIFUL. There’s a super juicy blackcurrant “sorbet-esc” burst at the very first spray that smells absolutely lovely - if it stayed, I would be far more taken with this scent... but it unfortunately fades away in literally seconds (no exaggeration, 10 seconds in and it’s completely gone) and you’re left with something that smells similar to a weaker, lower quality version of Delina Exclusif. I get a tiny bit of some of that “saltiness” that the Olympea line is famous for as the scent moves into the mid, and as it settles down it smells less like Delina and takes on more of a generic women’s designer scent that we’ve all smelled 1000 times. The performance is pretty disappointing to be honest. My wife only had a small sample but it was gone surprisingly quickly off her skin. A couple of hours and it was hard to smell much at all. Granted, it was a very small sample spray, if she sprayed 10 full sprays from a bottle it might have been different, but so far it’s not looking good for the performance. So, is it any good? Well, chances are if you’re looking at Olympea flankers you aren’t a niche snob, so this will probably be something you enjoy. I mean, there’s a reason why everyone copies the Delina DNA, it’s because it works. I think if I had never smelled anything like this before, I would be slightly more impressed, but once you’ve smelled a bunch of fragrances that smell like this, it all tends to get a bit same-y. Kinda like Prada Paradoxe - nice, but nothing you haven’t smelled 100 times before. I swear though, if they had managed to keep that “sorbet accord” from the first 10-15 seconds for longer through the fragrance... this would be a very different review. TL;DR - Basically, imagine taking Olympea Intense, Delina Exclusif and Angel Nova and putting them all in a blender. Give it an incredible first few seconds, then make it settle down quite gentle and soft - and that’s pretty much what you get. P.s. I’m at the point in my fragrance journey where 99.9% of women’s designer “fruity floral” scents tend to bore me, so take my review with a pinch of salt. Still, I’ve tried to be as objective as I can. I’m sure most men wouldn’t be unhappy if their partners smelled like this, and most women would be happy to smell like this. It’s just nothing “wow”, that’s all.

Something in this immediately brushed up against a childhood memory, I can’t even pinpoint what, but there’s a familiarity that comes through right away. I saw someone write “if you own La Vie Est Belle, you don’t need this,” and I kind of get the sentiment, but I think the reality is different: if you like LVEB but wish it were less sticky, less syrupy, and less headache-adjacent, Olympea Flora is the version that actually behaves. It’s still sweet, yes, but it doesn’t suffocate you. The vanilla is smoother, airier, fresher, it breathes. None of that heavy sugar glaze that LVEB insists on drowning you in. It even brushes up lightly against the Mon Guerlain universe, but without the powdery weight. Still wearable and modern, this is genuinely a lovely pick. For people who like sweetness but don’t want to smell like dessert.

lol. They keep vanilla (like that’s tough) and salt (or did they? negligible amount) in it, and say with a straight face that this is an Olympea flanker. They need to just stop honestly. Probably would’ve gotten more sales if they had made it a stand-alone scent. Please stop making a successful fragrance and milking it to death with one note connecting them. Plus honestly the bottle is hideous. Olympea has always looked unique and chic. This bottle looks like a girly alt child designed it. I’m a fan of pink and black, but I can admit when it shouldn’t be there. Regardless, I’m sure I will try this, may even love it. But it’s obviously on the mass-appealing side. Olympea where..

at the cashier when this amazing scent hit me from meters away sweet, fruity, candy-like, but with this luxe caramel-salt vibe that made it so much more than just sweet. The way it projected was unreal, like the wind was carrying this yummy magic right to me. I couldn’t help myself I had to head straight to the perfume counter and figure out what it was. Somehow, I guessed it on the first try, and let me tell you, it’s that girl. This scent is everything sweet, chic, and so addictive. If you’re looking for your next obsession, this is it. ❤️

This doesn't smell like Olympea, or any of its flankers, to me. The opening is very fruity, almost giving Fame vibes. Very modern. It dries down quickly to something that would have been popular in the 90s. A more old school fruit overdose. It could be compared to a less modern version of Burberry Her. It's not particularly similar to Mon Paris, but it's from the same family. Longevity isn't fantastic and sillage is low to moderate in the dry down.

Maybe people are too young nowadays to remember but this is actually a very retro smell and it is very similar to YSL Baby Doll at first (a discountinued, iconic "fruitchuli") You might also find similarity to Lalique Amethyst or Meliora from PDM in the first spay. With time though it actually fades a lot, looses intensity and turns into something sweet and dry that leans towards La vie est belle or maybe very very slightly delina exclusif

Just received this blind buy. To me it smells like a dark berry juice, almost like a dark, summery fruit wine. It’s pretty and will definitely get used! I smell lots of pink pepper in the opening which is good because I strongly dislike shampoo vibes in perfume. The dry down mellows out and the florals and rose bloom and this becomes a sexy, laid back, dark fruity-floral,

I personally feel that if you own a bottle of Lancôme’s LVEB you do not need this - as someone who owns a bottle. Olympea flora is nice, however I feel the opening is a little more harsh than LVEB. To me the latter is more well blended. The drydown on this is almost identical to LVEB! Due to this I was quite underwhelmed with this, but it’s lovely none the less.

so lovely! i’m not particularly fond of the other olympeas, they’re very generic and watery to me. but this is so girly, sweet and lovely, i smell a lot of orchids though it’s not a listed ingredient. it’s still aquatic like the other olympeas, a sweet fruity floral. overall, best of the olympea’s.

Works with my skin chemistry. Charming and feminine. Smells strong alcohol at first but quickly mellows and mellows. This is a vanilla rose scent but a modern one. On my skin, that is. Fragrances are usually so personal, I can only speak for myself.

I have a sample of this, but it's one of those card ones of 0.3ml, so these are so hard to try + it had almost already evaporated by the time I tested it :/ UPDATE: tested it in store and this smells very nice. I'm a sucker for blackcurrant.

Soo good! opening smells like a mojito (despite not being one of the notes). There's something ''spearminty'' about it, maybe its the salt note. The only Paco Rabanne perfume I'm on board with .
