Phantom Parfum

This new release, Phantom Parfum, brings you a revamped, rich & luxurious version of the OG Phantom. Where the OG reminds me of sporty & every day wear, Parfum gives me the going out / date night vibe. Parfum is intense & strong, and undeniably sexier than the OG. It’s spicy (in the way Carolina Herrera’s Bad Boy Parfum is, without the cannabis note). The lavender is noticeable but the vanilla and spiciness really blends together. I love how earthy this one is - it’s still sweet but woody at the same time. Think of the OG Phantom, just an intense version with a really bold spice (and maybe leather??). I pick up leather when I sniff this - reminds me of a beautiful fusion of the OG Phantom and these leather of Tom Ford’s Ombré Leather. I know many are not a fan of the Phantom packaging but I’m OBSESSED - I love these! I love the matte black with the glossy “r” in the middle of the body as an accent - in my opinion, the bottle is perfect. It’s definitely more of a nighttime scent - I feel like it’s gravitating towards Fall/Winter rather than summer. I’m pleasantly impressed with Phantom Parfum

Nose note #12: Fresh lemon with much lavender, which I think is the rhubarb, that gives it like a creamy sweet note, and a little vanilla in the background. It evolves into a buttery vanilla, with wood and decent lavender, kinda generic combo but there something unique about it. The parfum blends in that point, when the citrus fades away, and only the lavender, vanilla and wood are present, that's the sweet spot. I dont find this fragrance similat to paco rabanne invicthus elixir, which is more like a strong plain vanilla to me. Performance is alright, lasts 8 hours and 1:30 - 2h projection. I would wear it in cold and semi cold seasons, and Its suitable for late afternoon. Even I dont think this is a safe blindbuy, it has his charm, and I feel like it's different from other vanilla fragrances. I also bought this with my gf, who purchased the Fame Parfum, best second date ever hahah Price: 47€, 100mL Rate: 8/10

I don't know what it is with all these designer men's frags I've been trying out lately, but I want them for myself. Something about these lavender vanilla hybrids are very sweet and do so well on my skin. I'm very much into gourmands, but I also like a mature, natural vanilla. This is vetiver fresh but drizzled with an elegant, airy sweetness. So stunning. I'm not getting a lot of citrus, just a sweet, calm wave of velvet. I don't feel like I'm wearing strictly a men's cologne, but gendering fragrance is silly, anyway. Wear what you want. This definitely reads perfectly unisex, though (on my skin at least). I'm also crazy about Uomo Born in Roma Intense. The cardamom coming though is chef's kiss. The bottle is kind of silly but an adorable little robot dude. It doesn't really fit what it smells like LOL. This is another one that I would be stealing from my boyfriend. haha

This is one of my favorite, other reviews call it generic like all the popular sweet mens scents, but something about the phantom smell is just right for me, like eros which I have considered buying many times but I enjoy how this smells more tropical somehow. If your skin repels cologne like me something kind of strong like this can be beneficial. It seems well balanced, a little bit works but it can still safely be sprayed in multiple places so it's a no brainer if I am in a hurry. I have used this daily for a year and the phantom line seems to be getting some deserved attention with the new elixir release. I can understand the negative reviews but it has equal potential for very positive reactions speaking from experience. Don't buy it because of trends or take all the reviews to heart but smell it and see if you like it. Had to order it from a discount site.

The obvious part im going to keep it short: crap bottle. Now to the important part: i dont really know why this is hated so much. Leaving aside the bottle and that its similar to other scents, judging it on its own its a very very good fragrance. Has good performance, good sillage, its mass appealing. The lavender is nice, it is not the old school type lavender that makes the fragrance smell more mature. It is a mix of fresh and sweet but leaning more sweet. Lavender + Vanilla + Tonka. It has similarities to Invictus Victory Elixir, actually i am comparing them side to side right now. I really like it. They are in no way clones of eachother but similar family. Phantom parfum is a bit more fresh and is lacking the coconut. I think i dont like it enough to buy it. If a close clone comes out i might buy that instead. But i dont understand the hate it gets.

A beautiful realease by paco robanne him self this isnt like the original phantom as on season wize but this is interesting, it first starts with the original scent then it quickly goes in a warm gourmand type of scent that ud get from a jean paul fragrance a bit similar to 2 new realeases like paco robanne invictus victory elixir and jean paul gaultier le male parfum elixir but a big differense u dont get a dry down to vanilla the whole thing is vanilla and ever since i gotten used to paco robbanne phantom smelling like a pill box it seems invisible but it has a bright and interesting notes and smell but it can easily get boring if ur only trying it as a sample or strip try on skin and itll be fun like the other phantom, probably say a date night variant of the original phantom.

Holding both to my nose right now. I'm a niche collector but I do have a bias for futurism and find myself reaaaally rooting for this bottle design lol... BUT the parfum is deeper, more concentrated than the EDT. I can hardly smell the EDT after sniffing the parfum. Blindly worthy imo. Not incredibly imaginative but certainly unique enough to set aside itself from other designers. I personally love it, but it'd be used more as an easy grab/ post shower refreshment-ness. I'm sure you can find a bottle for less than 60 and to me it's a great deal for that price. Leans fairly youthful though I must admit. Aromatic, slight powder and green notes, woody. Really useful and the EDP is long-lasting with a decent projection for a commercial scent. Also, the bottle.

Herbal sweet earthy which makes it unique and unusual scent, the opening till the dry down u still can pick up the Rhubarb, which makes it unique....its playful and youthful, don't get me wrong i like it but its not for my age (25) so i think it suits younger guys ofc.....it lasted about 6-8 hours and a day on fabric if u overspray a little bit...so performance is cool, projection is ok 1-2 feet. my friend gifted it to me without knowing that there is Intense version of it, so i recommend buying the Intense, its more defined and smooth and better performance. Scent 7.5/10 Longevity 8/10 Projection 7/10 Overall 7.5/10

As charming as the EDT iteration. But unlike the EDT, Parfum is less aggressive when it comes to the citrus notes, which allows the sweetness and creaminess to have a more preponderant role. It feels more refined and better blended when comparing to its older brother. According to my experience, it projects nicely, and lasts long. Nevertheless, the dry down, (which is very pleasant), in my skin is quieter than the EDT's. As a long time Rabanne's Phantom enthusiast, I couldn't be happier, since I finally was able to get myself a bottle of the Parfum version.

I’ve worn this scent everyday this past week after almost returning it the first day. I suggest that you don’t give up on this fragrance after first impression, because in my experience you will love it more and more with every spray. This one is a beast. Three sprays and I’m getting great projection, and smelling it the next day. Very unique scent, not a blind buy- even if you liked the edt version. It smells vastly different on skin. It’s darker, but still has that signature “bubblegummy” Paco rabanne touch. Very high quality fragrance

this is my boyfriends signature scent so i might be a bit biased but this is genuinely such a good cologne!!! ive smelled so many colognes and they tend to smell identical to me, and not in a good way. but this fragrance is different from those. its such a nice warm smokey fresh spicy lavender cardamon scent. from what ive heard men themselves tend to not enjoy this but i love this?? i guess its more of a female gaze perfume. its so long lasting too he gave me his hoodie and after 5 days i still smelled it. defo reccomend!!

Just got this today as a gift. I also have the EDT variant so I can compare both of them. Well first of all this hits very similar to the EDT but then it changes to this more mature version which more people will like. The dry down is more woody and the vanilla is just alright. More wintery scent compared to the EDT. Sillage is alright and longevity is 5h. Overall like it better than the EDT variant as it sits more maturely on the skin. On discount I would say it is a great buy.

My bottle might be different, but, its starts off with a mess of different smells, earthy, woody, citrusy, etc. Half way in, it even smelled a bit pissy. After 15 or so minutes, it transforms into a really nice fragrance. If I could explain it, its like a creamy vanilla and fresh lemon sitting on a bed of lavender and woods. I do like it, projection isn't great and performance is decent-good. I haven't worn it much but I do really enjoy it.

It smells a lot like Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Signature as someone said in the comment earlier. The only difference is that Uomo Signature has a woodier scent and this one has more lemon in the opening. I love this and honestly a compliment getter. I didn't even know that this exist until someone in the mall suggested it. Also would say that this is a safe blind buy if you are looking for something fresh and leaning towards male perfumes.

An interesting, more mature spin on sweet fragrances, suitable for a much wider age range than it’s predecessor. Really fresh on the opening, and a classy dry-down that I just can’t get enough of. However 5-7 mins after spraying, it gave off a quite cheap deodorant-like smell. It thankfully didn’t last long, but it’s definitely something to note. +1 amazing atomizer, really

Better then the original easily. Makes it more balsamic and smoky in the dry down, makes it smell addiction. The original was great just from the opening. But now this is great in both the opening and dry down. Great great job. This can be used in every season.. yup all, even summer. There's no need to make another phantom. This is it. Scent: 8.7/10

My friend was wearing this one night and it filled the room with this amazing vanilla lavender aroma. I’ve compared this side by side with jpg elixir and I think I like this one more than elixir. Like one guy said put it in a Tom ford or even a jpg bottle and it’s probably would sell just as good as those.

Genuinely smells like my family home kitchen after making a rhubarb crumble. Sweet and comforting smell of vanilla and rhubarb with hints of zesty citrus and soapy lavender. Settles into sweet and salty very nicely. My colleague says the dry down is similar to one million, but far less overpowering.

Opens up with a strong cardamom bergamot and a prominent rahubard note that makes it feel darker than the other phantoms. Projects for 4hrs and becomes a skin scent for 8 to 9hrs. Second best to phantom intense but that one doesn’t project or last as long as this one.

Warm, vanilla-esque. Very underrated as the original phantom is not that great, this however is absolutely fantastic. Just a lovely warm fragrance that can be worn all day, great versatility and one of my personal favourites which I can rely on.

I didn’t really like the opening, just lavender 🌿, but once it dries down and the heart notes come into play, it turns very pleasant. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's well-composed in my opinion and worth considering for purchase. 🤔💼

This thing literally just smells like toffee. Not really my style but I still kind of like it. Can be headache and stomachache inducing with the sweetness. Opening scent is good but dry down is not that good. Wouldn’t buy imo

This perfume is very much similar to the edt/original phantom but with a small twist ,a hint of vanilla and makes you smell misterious.I would reccomend to personally give it a try if you like the edt

8/10 nice and sweet for the tendency of the perfumes that are out there in the market is a good one bubble 🫧 gummy kind of flow like the ultra males and jpg scandal kind of fragrances.

This fragrance is excellent it is not for mature people but for the youth. The vanilla and citrus combo is excellent, it reminds me of Le Beau but in a better way.

Only had it 6 hours at time of writing but instantly preferred it over the original. It has a very pleasant dry down. This will be used regularly.

Testing Phantom Parfum from a 1.5 ml Rabanne official sample. Potentially controversial opinion but I think some of Rabanne fragrances smell better than look like. And I mean by that they have atrocious packaging, both males and females perfumes! I feel like if Rabanne would package their perfumes in normal looking bottles, they would sell them better... While Phantom Parfum is nothing new under the sun, it’s a pleasant and interesting scent. That is if you’re into aromatic, balsamic, vanilla, fougere style of perfumery. Otherwise, stay away, you’ll hate this as much as you’ll hate the bottle design (potentially). I think some people like this style of bottle design from what I’ve seen online, but I just can’t stand it.. Would I recommend buying a bottle of Phantom Parfum in 2025??? Probably yes, because seems to be quite long lasting, it’s not outrageously expensive and offers a nice twist on a classic fougere scent with the addition of notes like rhubarb, cardamom and geranium. It’s slightly tangy and sharp and rosy, which creates a nice contrast against the vanilla, balsams, lavender, citruses and the vetiver. Smells great, lasts well and has a bit of uniqueness...It’s not totally boring but it’s nothing too different either to make it a difficult one to wear for most occasions and most seasons. But you need to be able to put up with that horrendous bottle, so it’s up to you. There are similar fragrances to this, so you might not have to... Me, personally wouldn’t buy a bottle of Phantom Parfum because my husband doesn’t like enough the way it smells on him. He says it smells like perfume, which is something he always says when he’s not interested in a particular scent...

I have been collecting Paco Rabanne's 1 Million line (EDT, Lucky, Elixir, Royal) and saw that they had another line. The first one I saw was the OG Phantom with the silver body. I even asked the SA can I test the robot? 😁 When I saw the box, I was surprised it was called phantom . The OG had a fresh scent, common and not groundbreaking. It also didn't have good reviews aside from the tacky packaging. There is a new 2023 release though which had better reviews-- Phantom Parfum. Opening is a mix of lemony citrus, pineapple and vanilla accords. If you can't decide between lemonade and a vanilla milkshake, why not mix the 2? When the lemon and vanilla starts to dry down, you'll smell a coconut scent and might mistake it for JPGs LE Beau or Lataffa's Yara. It finally dries down to a powdery scent with faint iris notes in the background. I enjoyed the scent as an all arounder daily frag. Longevity though is 4-5 hours and needed a respray during the day. I cannot judge projection and sillage as I didn't get any compliments today. It won't give some oohs and aahs as the scent might be generic as I have smelled a lot of frags already. The bottle is a conversation piece although others would find it cheesy. It is ok as my first freshie purchase and I would be happy if it was.

I love rhubarb, so naturally I really enjoy the smell of this. I can understand how this fragrance can be a bit cloying and assaultive to some people, but if you’re light on the sprays this stuff is great imo. When I first sprayed my sample of this I actually found it nauseating, but I revisited it a few weeks after and I now really enjoy it. It has grown on me. Really nice sweet vanilla scent, great for colder months. It’s got a kind of a fuzziness to it, it tickles my nose a bit which I enjoy. It’s not groundbreaking, and I can’t say it’s objectively an amazing fragrance, but to me it smells great and it’s lovely to come across a mens fragrance with a prominent rhubarb note. I understand that most people who are knee deep in this hobby probably overlook “uninspired” fragrances like this, but I love them, because they’re simple, mass-appealing, and get the job done. You don’t need a really specific occasion to wear these. In the colder months, a couple of sprays of this and you’ll be smelling great for the rest of the day.

It's sweet and aromatic with a strong, dusty, synthetic lavender aroma. This is followed by dark notes of red fruit, aromas of candies/sweets (Parma Violets) and rich, synthetic blackberry. A while after, there's vetiver and a large dose of vanilla. It remains aromatic, the lavender hangs around and it starts to resemble dark, bitter chocolate as well. It gets a bit sour after some time on the skin. Has notes of aniseed and sherbert, dark earthy woods and smoky-chocolate-like patchouli. Overall it's actually quite a dark, rich, complex fragrance. I think the woody-"chocolatey" drydown is really nice, if not unique. This would suit the younger crowd, 20-45 yrs (ish.) I think this is unisex. Parts of it remind me of Thierry Mugler-Angel. (remind me of. It's not the same!) Would work on a night out, or daytime during the colder months. Not office friendly though IMO. Performance is good. Projection strong and longevity as a skin scent is easily 8hrs+. I like it.
