Rose 1969

I have to say that I have not being a rose fan, but tried all the collection at the duty free in Barcelona and this one came home with me. First day I wore it, received more than 10 compliments. Very smooth and sophisticated (similar to Portrait) but more easily wearable during the day. Glad I bought it

Nice rose scent. To my nose, a lighter version of Lumière Noire Pour Femme Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Very similar drydowns, however, MFK much more potent with more patchouli.

Starts sweet, stays sweet for a bit, (maybe 45-90mins?), then turns a bit sour smelling and a bit like off fruit for an hour or 2 after that, but then dries down to something that softly resembles a sweetened YSL Tuxedo IMO. Bit of a weird journey honestly, wont buy a bottle or even a travel size, but the dry down is pretty OK.

Well........what can I say? I really hate that scent. Really sharp,sour, nasty,old fashioned rose. It's like room fragrance from a cheap shop. 1/10. Try it before buying it.

Genuinely the first rose I've ever actually fell in love with (so far). It's smooth and understated just enough for me to handle it. I don't think I would like it if it were in the top. Pairing it with pepper and patchouli was actually quite smart. It takes my senses away from that usual dusty undertone you get with rose perfumes. Very well blended and smooth, consistent with the rest of this La Rabanne set.

Vintage rose, gives Portrait of a Lady vibes. It feels dark, dense and a bit dated. Gave me a headache. Can't smell the lychee, but maybe it's what gives the rose the syrupy feel. Expected more of this collection and so far I haven't found one that I like.

this smells straight up like Oud for Glory by Lattafa. I tested it at Selfridges for the first time and it smelled so familiar. I kept smelling my wrist like for hours and tried to find out which fragrance it is similar to. Conclusion: Oud for Glory. 100%
