the perfume that got me into perfumes, bought a partial bottle with no idea what the scent notes were but i couldn't put it down. i have gone through maybe three or four bottles of this over the span of a couple of years. musky and warm but sweet, almost smells sort of chocolatey or hazelnutty to me. i don't get much fruit or floral from empowered but it could be that i was never looking for either. not super long lasting but i have gotten quite a few complements on it.

This was surprisingly nice. Light, sweet, powdery vanilla and coconut but not in an overly sunscreeny way. Will be great for layering.

First spray is extremely pleasant. This is not a strong fragrance at all, I recommend over-spraying- if you use a reasonable amount, the performance will disappoint. 10 sprays on various points of my body (with any other perfume I would NEVER.) will project to around arms length for a few hours. Its a good size to carry around in your bag for reapplication throughout the day if you like that slightly floral coco-nutty opening or just want to keep the projection going. A very bright, clean smelling skin scent, the vanilla really comes out on the dry down but remains light and subtle. smells like you've used coconut shower products. I particularly love that i don't go nose blind to this if I spray on my chest like I do with most of my perfumes. 3+ sprays on my chest will let me smell it continuously for several hours but wont throw far enough to be smelled by others unless you're hugging. Nothing groundbreaking, the name "empowered" doesn't really fit the fragrance IMO, I would almost call it demure. But it is a pleasing, light clean and kind of tropical scent. Spray away without the fear of choking out those around you. A great beginners or everyday fragrance. I'll definitely use up this bottle but likely wont buy another. I am interested in the rest of the line though- but only if I see it at a discounted price.

I got this for $13 at Marshall's. I sprayed about a half spray on my forearm. It goes on coconut, not overly sweet, with a little something that smells like bergamot on top. Smells inoffensive and nice. It dried down to a warm vanilla scent that reminds me of an Ariana Grande scent with a little wood, to a musky vanilla, to now, 7 hours later, a nice warm, soft musk with maybe a little tinge of vanilla. I am honestly impressed with how much change the fragrance has gone through and its longevity! I bought it after reading reviews here while I was in the store, and I am pretty pleased. This is an office-safe scent you can put on in the morning and smell slightly over the day, and then change to something else in the evening if you want to.

Pretty successful blind buy - I found it at Marshall's yesterday for a steal. (I also saw Instinct and kind of wish I'd gotten it too). Anyway, this is a lovely fruity, vanilla-y scent. It actually at different times has reminded me of other things in my collection that I like quite a bit too (especially Hanae, and maybe a very mellow Angel - it's in that family of scents). I'm really happy to have gotten it because I'm about out of Hanae and now I don't feel a pressing need to order another bottle of it. It lingers softly most of the day, it's something I notice and it makes me glad that this is what I chose this morning. For the price, two thumbs way up!

I smell fruit, but it isn’t listed- a fruity, sweet body spray, or shower gel type fragrance to start. Lightly powdery, but not baby powder. Tiny bit of coconut. As it moves along the vanilla and woods settle in, and it becomes much richer, more “adult”. Sadly I don’t get the smooth, warm, vanilla coconut frag I was hoping for. A nice different warm weather cheapie, but nothing incredible to me.

I got it for $5.99 at Lot-Less in NYC. Accurate to say this smells like a bath product. Body wash or lotion. I get the solar notes and coconut. I don’t get sunscreen or gourmand. Not sure I even get what I would call vanilla. Smells more like cashmere.

Smells very nice! Sweet but not sickening, smooth, creamy and comfy. Pretty inoffensive. Projects really well when you first spray. It’s not groundbreaking but it’s a pleasant winter fragrance. Really versatile.

I mean, coconut car air freshener. That’s exactly what I used it for. I would not wear this on my skin.

Sweet, powdery coconut. Its a bit too powdery for my taste, but it has potential.

Received a sample of this with a purchase of another perfume. Coconut jumps right out in this perfume. I thought it reminded me of being at the beach with some yummy smelling tanning lotion. This is more youthful in my opinion. My granddaughter would probably like it. Kind of reminds me of something from BBW. I don't think I'll make a bottle purchase unless it's for my granddaughter.

I originally bought this without ever having smelled it only because I love leopard printed anything and when I first sprayed it I found it to be very generic smelling but after it settled on my skin I really liked the soft vanilla scent, so much so that I might get a backup bottle!

I did purchase at TJ Maxx for 16.99usd. A waster. Powdery, vanilly, so close to skin that you need a nose superglued to the wrist to smell it. I don't get any other notes. No projection and no staying power. I was able to return it. I saw the "fearless" also but why bother

Rachel Zoe Empowered is a simple summer fruity vanilla. It is a bit sweet and fun. Layers great with summer freshies. I agree with the OP that suggested that it is very reminiscent of Rihanna's RiRi.

My first time ever buying this scent I bought it at Belk store in the mall in some gift set it became my signature scent I absolutely loved it very sweet vanilla, sweet coconut it lasted for about 6 hours on me. I saw it was a little cheaper on Amazon so I ordered a gift set same scent beautiful same longevity 2nd time same scent beautiful same longevity , ordered it a third time and 4th time it didn’t last it sorta smelled soapy and just yuck so idk what happened maybe my last 2 were just bad batches idk. So I somehow came across this scent at tj maxx tell me why it gave me a bad headache smelled like soap and ALCHOL it was terrible. I have sorta given up on this perfume. First 3 buys beautiful last 3 buys yuck soapy

There is a few solar vanilla smells that project this exact type of smell, one is dua era of vanilla (which is more expensive) & more coconut than this zoe one is victoria secret body spray coconut coast & a tiny bit of Ellen Tracy courageous. With out the pepper black licorice note) Definately smells more like..you're at the beach & you sprayed on a light coconut vanilla spray then dried off with your sun soaked towel but the sun was so hot that it dried Into it permanently. My cat seems to really like it he doesn't usually climb up on me. But he keeps smelling my neck & wrist & purring so..this one seems pretty attractive to my cat so that's a plus

I have quite a few fragrances from very high-end to inexpensive so I certainly did not need this purchase. I found this at Ross for $6.99 and the notes sounded appealing. I actually really like this fragrance. It’s very soft, not groundbreaking by any means, but yet very pleasant and wearable. I do get a soft coconut water scent and slightly tropical. I don’t really even like coconut but I found this very wearable. It’s definitely a safe blind by especially for the price if I come across the other ones in this line, I may purchase also.

Oh I absolutely love how this smells! It reminds me a bit of Eillish No. 1 and Fancy by Jessica Simpson because of how sweet it smells. On my skin it reminds me of a lovely coconut lotion or conditioner, but it doesn’t have a soapy scent to it whatsoever. It’s light, pretty, and perfect for the increasingly warmer weather, but I also feel this fragrance is light enough to be worn year round, that’s how nice it is!

First spray it I get a heavy dose of coconut and and overdose of vanilla. It’s sugary and sweet and as it dries down, it reminds me of Ariana Grande Sweet like Candy perfume. It’s a fun scent that me and my daughter both enjoy. Idk if I would repurchase as I have hundreds of perfumes already but this is a nice addition to my collection.

At first sniff, this reminds me of the Nicki Minaj Minajesty . Then it dries down and gets a bit warmer. Not bad but nothing to write home about. Great price for full size bottle.
