Amber & Jasmine

Radiant's notes list is : Top: Bergamot and black currant Middle notes: tuberose, jasmine and peach. Base : cedar wood, amber, vanilla and white musk. Okay so the reminds me of is totally out of place here. This smells nothing like Donna Born in Roma and TF Soleil Blanc. It's a VERY unique scent, balsamic ambery intoxicating, and tuberose-heavy so indolic yet it has a youthful, maybe even juvenile, and playful sweet- tart fruity accord. That's what makes it so unique, the fruity-tart cheerful elements paired with the more perfumey, grown-up, sophisticated ambery jasmine-tuberose heart. If I were to compare it to a perfume it'd prolly be some VS scent, like a Bombshell flanker that utilizes the sour black currant and amber along with candy sweet notes. So it's along those lines, sweet fruity tart, fresh slightly ozonic yet warm and balsamic due to the indolic white florals. At some point it smells like a fruity tanning lotion maybe due to the black currant, tuberose and amber reminiscent of the black currant in YSL Libre but they're different scents and Libre smells entirely like tanning lotion. Tuberose also is used a lot in conjunction with amber rendering the usual sharp amber sweet syrupy and balsamic in scents that emulate tanning lotion like TF Soleil Blanc, Very Sexy Oasis or Bbw Getaway Soiree so it explains the subtle tanning lotion vibe in this too and how nice the amber note becomes in this too surrounded by fruity and floral indolic notes. The sweet sour aspect comes from the bergamot - black currant blend mingling with the candy-like sweet peach, being a very sweet, usually juvenile, note slightly artificial in most perfumes (here it's very fruity candy-like). The tuberose and jasmine take away some of that juvenile element and totally elevate the whole composition to something ethereal. The bergamot is quite intense lending a refreshing, almost ozonic green vein to the opening scent reinforcing the tart black currant, but it doesn't overpower the whole composition - the peach keeps it sweet and the woody musk adds creaminess. The black currant is astringent as usual but it keeps the perfume very feminine and flirty, plus it pairs nicely with the amber for a more grown-up vibe at the drydown (amber sometimes has a sour undertone if it's actually ambroxan). I suppose this trait is what reminds me of some VS perfumes). The body milk/lotion lasts forever on my skin and it even overpowers any perfume I might spray on it, but it can also pair well with certain perfumes. The lotion is more intense, better smelling and long lasting than the perfume which sadly lasts 2 hours on me. The perfume projects amazingly but yea after 2 hours it's gone. I find the perfume more juvenile smelling at first and lacking depth the first hour, compared to the lotion which smells divine, rich and bold right away as if you go straight to the drydown. I've bought many perfumes recently, but this scent smells so addicting and unique to me that I can't stop thinking about it. I have the lotion sample on my vanity and it smells so loud, I love it. I bought a 30ml of the perfume eventually.
