Accord No. 03: Ambre

Very nice & overall natural amber perfume. Similar to amber absolutely by fort & manle because It shsres the two characters with this perdone: un one hand the ambery balsámic and sweet part and in the other hand a dirty, soapy and bit animalic character. The center of the perfume is firmes by the Perú balm and the benzoin which gives their balsámic and resinous touch. This is accompanief by a floral touch given by the osmanthuw, with his sweetness and bit fruity smell, and the amyris, drier and greener. The musk gives the animalic touch. AER An3 is long lasting while th sillage is soft. It performs most of the time close to the skin. I think this is great fotsoring/falla nights ir falla/winter daytime use. Very natural ambery scent. I love this perfume. I'm a woman and my husband thinks this perfume is very weird on me. It is indeed an unusual perfume. It's like smelling resin straight from the tree, walking into a cabin with firewood cut for the winter. Balsamic, resinous, hot, luscious, smoked. I don't use this perfume on a daily basis, I use it on my arm at night before going to sleep and I love to fall asleep with my nose glued to my arm.

This one is a strong mf I thought i smelled Black Prestigium. There is almost nog difference in these two. The smell is powdery and soapy. I already own black prestigium so I won’t buy this one, but it’s a very good scent. Ambery and warm. The sillage smells a bit like grand soir, but less sweeter. It’s the bitter version of grand soir. Grand soir has the vanilla which makes it sweet. This has Peru balsam. Very sexy, very strong, I like it!

Amber 60s, with a bomb start of geranium, balsamic, citrus of amyris and with a spicy animalic touch similar to xanthoxylum and labdanum. When it fades, I take tenacious ambrette with a vintage flavor and musk in the long finish that reminds me of heavy cotton sheets just washed and dried. Strange. Like a slap, all natural.

An unusually upbeat offering from AER Scents, lifted initially by the sweetness of the musky/floral notes. It is spoiled for me by a persistent minty/soapy note (especially on the paper strip) that convinced me I didn't want to stay around for the dry down.

Man this is heavy, like black hole heavy.... It is reminiscent of "grandma" perfumes with it's sweetness that is so sweet it turns bitter. The dry down is soap, musky slightly scratchy soap. I feel like Neville's grandma from Harry Potter would love this fragrance.
